Groove allows sales teams to quickly assign contacts to templated outreach and quickly customize messaging/calls without losing track of prospects.
  • Automates and speeds up blanket communications
  • tracks activity and engagement
  • Solid integrations Google and Salesforce
  • rapid support response
  • i've used groove for years and still don't understand the use case for Spaces
  • Can be ocnfusing to sort through shared templates
Groove is great for sales and marketing roles, probably not very effective for accounting or support.

We use Groove on our team to automate our sales outreach. We create many different flows or cadences depending on what industries we are reaching out to. We used to send emails one by one which would take up hours of our time each day that we could have spent doing prospecting or cold calling. Our team also uses AB testing to see which of our subject lines are performing best. Groove also lets us see if attaching documents to our outreach either hurts or helps get a response from a potential client. In realtime, Groove displays on its home page if and when prospects are opening our emails in real-time. This lets us know a few things. If our client clicked on any links we sent, if the employee is continuing to review our email, and overall just if they are interested in what we are looking to offer them. Within Groove there is an analytics tab as well. This lets me see how my reps are competing against the reps on other teams we have across other departments. Each week - we are able to send out weekly metrics so each team member does not have to keep an eye on their productivity on their own.
  • Automates email outreach
  • Provides analytics in real time
  • Allows for customization within cadences easily
  • Emails opens are not always accurate
  • Adding multiple documents to emails is a slow process
  • More AB testing options would be ideal
Groove is most appropriate for mass outreach. It works very well if you are on a large team with a lot of reps reaching out to a lot of smaller companies. However, within an Account Management team you may utilize Groove in a more precise way. Overall, I am sure their accounts team can tweak the tool to fit your needs.

It is being used on our specific marketing team. We use it mainly to track monthly emails we send to our clients the first of each month. It has posed a good solution to tracking so many emails & even scheduling emails or writing email templates when needed.
  • Salesforce tracking
  • Email Templates that are easy & customizable
  • Email scheduling
  • Team sharing templates
  • Templates can include links, pdfs & merge fields
  • I wish that Groove linking attachments (like pdfs & other files) in emails was easier. I think there is a file size limit that limits the documents that you can attach & what will link in Salesforce.
  • Formatting Groove templates are sometimes hard. If I have text that I want to paste into a new email template I am creating, the font, spacing & overall look won't be the same in the live email after I create it.
Groove is well-suited for email scheduling & templates. If your team uses similar emails for dealers or clients, this is the tool for you. Also, if you need to track emails to an account in Salesforce then Groove is appropriate. I also love just being able to customize my own emails with my own voice for my customers.

I use Groove for email outreach to prospects and current clients through campaigns. I also use Groove to manage my calendar and it allows prospects/partners to schedule directly through my email signature. It works extremely well and helps me track which campaigns are working better than others, with detailed analytics on click-through and responses.
  • Outbound Campaign Tracking
  • Scheduling and Calendaring
  • Data Cleaning/Enrichment
  • Account Level Integration
  • Customized Reporting
  • Buyer Intelligence
It is great for sending out large email campaigns and tracking the performance of these campaigns. Great to see all the individualized statistics and adjusting for performance. Not great at allowing for custom data to be edited within groove and posted back to Salesforce. Not tons of flexibility in terms of customized reporting, which can be a need from time to time.

We use Groove in our outreach for net new sales. Trying to gain the interest of companies to use our products and services
  • Creating Flows
  • Data showing who opened emails
  • Makes tasks easier and quicker
  • Go through a list of calls very quickly
  • I would love to see carrying the message over in the LinkedIn integration section, instead of having to recreate a custom message for each connection
  • Would love to have a point person to contact for questions instead of having to email
  • Other than minor things, everything is great
The fact that I can get the same message out to 100's of prospects at once is the best possible scenario for us!

Groove bring everything in one nice dashboard for me and integrates well with Salesforce
  • combines SFDC together
  • Keeps history of every email send to customers
  • Can create templates and use
  • workflows are not simple to follow
  • separate window tabs would help
Groove work extremely well with Gmail and makes email customer a breeze. The template allow you to pick a name and it inserts with same font.

I use Groove mainly for prospecting and building my pipeline via mass mail communications organized in flows, adding phone calls as further follow up. I also use Groove to inform my current customers of any new feature developed by the company or to inform about any special event involving me or the company.
  • Mass communications
  • Follow up organization
  • Email tracking
  • Call log categories
  • Email style
In my opinion Groove is the perfect tool for any kind of mass communication message either to hot or cold contacts. It also has very goods features for 1:1 communication as it gives you access to precious tracking data about who's reading your mail. Definitely a great help when it comes to build an effective mail communication strategy. For calls I think there is room for improvement, as at the moment doesn't provide too many options when it comes to log categories.

I use Groove daily within my organization. I start my day by checking my email to see my "Tasks" for the day and also shows me my results from the prior day. In addition, it shows me exactly who opened my emails, from what company and their email. Upon checking that I get into the tool and it shows me exactly what must be done that day wether its calls, emails, linkedin steps, whatever. As a BDR this is very helpful to know what must be done for the day and it is very easy to follow and I always know what I must do.
  • Very easy to log in and see what is due that day
  • Love how easy it is to see my activity for the day, week, month, etc
  • Shows prior engagement with the prospect you're reaching out to
  • Very easy to make calls straight from the application
  • I tend to get an error message every once in a while which completely shuts me off from using Groove
Without Groove I wouldn't be able to do my day to day. It shows exactly what is due for the day and it is very easy to put contacts into your flows.

We use Groove to build network contacts and email tracking.
  • Email tracking
  • Showing account engagement
  • Building contacts
  • Make it easier to build mail cadences
When I need to follow up on an email, I can see who is engaged. I also like that it links to my calendar for meetings to be booked.

I love using Groove to keep me and my team organized and our customer communications consistent. The various tools help us grow our business, while still staying nimble, and validate experiments faster with strong data and user experience. I will keep using groove for marketing campaigns, customer feedback, and team collaboration in the new year.
  • I used templates to make sure we're operating with the same language when connecting with customers
  • I use Flows to integrate with Salesforce and reach targeted audiences while working with experimental products
  • I use the calendar function to book meetings between customers and multiple teammates
  • I use the reminder function to keep my inbox clean and my workflow organized around do now and do later tasks
  • Groove's integration in Gmail is decent, but still a bit rudimentary.
  • The calendar scheduling function needs improvement: it's a little clunky and easy to make a misstep while difficult to go back and correct
  • Sometimes the Salesforce integration is glitchy and it's hard to diagnose why. Would love a better diagnostic feature here.
Groove is great for individuals looking to take control of a sales pipeline or coordinate communication efforts across a team. It's not ideal for complex or nuanced reporting.

I use Groove to streamline my email and call prospecting activities. It helps me create mini-campaigns for targeted leads of about 25-100. Staying consistent and organized in prospecting is always a challenge, and Groove allows me to do just that. Each "flow" is designed for a different type of prospect, and automation tools within Groove allow my emails to seem very personal to the client without me having to hand type 100% of every email. It is also very easy to use, which is essential to me as an active seller and account manager.
  • Automate emails.
  • Organizes my sales prospecting efforts.
  • Automates the creation customized emails.
  • visibility to management, could use a better overall dashboard.
  • more detailed integration to salesforce.
  • auto email headlines such as first name in email headline.
Groove is well suited for active salespeople who are trying to truly develop business in a personal matter. I don't need to email 1,000+ people I need to consistently reach out to 50-150 targeted prospects I want to build a personal relationship. Groove allows me to automate this enough to save me time and energy (from not having to write the same email all the time) but is not so invasive that is feels like spam for the client. It is not well suited for a huge organization trying to 100% automate its email marketing.

I use Groove for email outreach. It allows me to send out larger amounts of emails and track the success of my email campaigns. I can tell if someone has opened an email or clicked on a link within an email I have sent. It also helps keep me organized with outreach. Beyond emails, I also use them to make phone calls.
  • Tracks email campaigns.
  • Allows you to quickly and efficiently get large amounts of email out.
  • Allows you to create workflows for future outreach.
  • It can be tedious to update all fields of campaigns, making it an easier process would be nice. A drag-down option is a potentially or easier way to move from one field to another.
Groove is well suited for anyone trying to do large amounts of outreach and get a lot of activity out in a short period of time. If you want to understand better what messaging is working best, it can help you identify when/where engagement is the highest.

It was really useful and handy during the implementation of the sales force, during the practice sessions and implementation stages. Being able to send to salesforce is a plus—solid value for the price point. The integration into SalesForce and Gmail is also incredible too, and really leverages the tools like the message and link tracking to have the best timing on calling customers.
  • Significantly less manual work to manage a large pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Groove has automated manual work that should have been gone years ago.
  • Implementation hurdles.
  • Significant amount of time in working properly and with our other systems.
Groove allows you to log and track emails coming in and out. Groove offers an inexpensive solution for those several hundred users to still engage our constituents right from their email accounts. It's easy to use and set up. It also offers a lot more functionality and simple user management. The user experience in the flows is sometimes a challenge. It is not as clean as I'd like it to be.

Our organization uses Groove in a variety of capacities. The biggest use case for us is attaching the emails, meetings, and calls we have with customers to the Salesforce opportunity. This saves us from having to manually enter these activities saving us a tremendous amount of time which means we have more time to allocate towards activities to drive net new business.
  • Meeting Scheduler - shows our availability and allows our clients/partners to book meetings with us
  • Log Activities to SFDC - with just a few clicks you can share the activity to the opportunity in Salesforce
  • Groove Analytics - a dashboard that shows your activities for the day, week, month, or quarter. It also shows as a percentage of the emails that are opened and the links that are clicked
  • Being able to add a new contact record to Salesforce by simply attaching the activity to the opportunity
  • Being able to log meetings that occur based on clients/partners using the meeting scheduler link your software provides
  • Being able to share leads to AWS/Microsoft using Groove i.e a connector that allows me to share to the APN/MPN
If your sales team is manually entering all activities with clients Groove is something that you need. I've personally only ever used Groove with Gmail and Salesforce but I can only assume that it's just as good if you're an Office 365/Dynamics 365 shop. Help your sellers and your organization by enabling them to spend more time on money-generating activities rather than data entry.

Excellent for reaching out to many clients at once. Also for prospecting to offer ancillary services. And, the scheduler tool is so convenient to use for clients!
  • Templates - very easy to use
  • Scheduler tool - convenient and integration with Zoom/Teams is awesome
  • Activity performance is great to monitor daily & weekly
  • Providing open ratios is great too!
  • Salesforce integration to move to Groove settings without having to go through activity performance first (unless it's a user error)
For any professional relationship - whether it's business development, client success, account management - very multi-purposed!

I use Groove in a sales capacity. I am able to create Groove Flows which means that I can connect multiple times with bespoke outreach to hundreds of new leads using just one input. This means I am able to use my time more effectively researching for new leads and contacts.
  • Personalises emails
  • Groove Flows
  • You can share Groove Flows and Templates to other team members
  • Sometimes Groove just sends out my flows before I have had a chance to review them but this is probably my user error as opposed to anything wrong with Groove
  • In the capacity that I use Groove, it works really well for me
In reaching out to mass contacts but ensuring that the message is personalised

We use Groove's OmniDialer for outbound phone calls, and actively use flows for phone/email campaigns. It helps keep us on task, as well as on schedule with activities and follow-up.
  • Sync to Salesforce
  • Flows to keep nurturing leads and prospects
  • Formatting prospects/contact information that is imported out of format (capitalizing letters, correcting typos, etc)
  • General connectivity issues

I use Groove to build out automated outreach flows for emails. Also use it to build call lists for prospects I want to target.
  • Intuitive
  • Simple outreach flows
  • Email automation
  • Notifications for opened emails
  • Integration with SFDC doesn't always work
  • Lag time occasionally
  • Does not always provide accurate email opening notifcations
Groove is well suited for almost all SDR workflows. I live in Groove, it helps with all my outreach. Email and call outreach is made a lot simpler with Groove. LinkedIn outreach isn't offered - if it was, that would be a major improvement. If SDRs are doing a lot of email and call outreach but not much LinkedIn outreach, Groove could be the perfect system.

My team needs a sales enablement platform other than Salesforce to stay afloat because we reach out to many people every week or month. I use Groove to keep my prospecting and my teams prospecting activities organized, create and facilitate outbound marketing campaigns, and analyze campaign and team mate performance.
  • Outbound marketing campaigns
  • Go to market campaigns
  • Analyze team member performance
  • Analyze campaign performance
  • More areas to take and pull up notes from calls
  • Sometimes is buggy
  • Can facilitate lazy behaviors is taken advantage of
This is well suited for sales development teams because of the high volume of touchpoints and contacts that SDRs make every day. It's a great tool to make sure all prospects stay on your radar and we can easily measure success. It would be less appropriate for a account executive position because Groove allows users to avoid personalizing each email.

My Sales team, AM team and CS team all use Groove to send/receive emails, make calls, book meetings, update Salesforce to have the highest level of accuracy for the communication with our prospects and customers. Having our CRM (Salesforce) as accurate as possible is my biggest concern and removing the admin time for the reps to make sure this is accurate is very valuable. I want the reps doing their jobs and doing as little admin as possible but also assuring we have everything documented and recorded in the CRM.
  • Segmented sales outreach - Flows
  • Logging all interactions with a prospect or customer directly in the CRM realtime
  • Giving the prospect, customer and rep an easy solution to book meetings
  • Voicemail
  • SMS automation
I have used other tools (Outreach, Close.io, Salesloft, ect) and they all have similar features or functionality, the thing that stands out to me about Groove is the ease of use for the rep. It does not matter how many bells and whistles a product offers if they are difficult to use. I need the reps to implement the tool and use it as part of their day to day to make their lives easier and more efficient, Groove does that better than others. They also make it very easy for me to set up or change on my own without needing to be an engineer. Finally, the Customer Service is leaps and bounds better than most competitive alternatives. I have been very impressed with the willingness to help us if there is ever a need and I have never felt like a "small" customer to them event though our team is not very large.

We use Groove on a day to day basis. That can be email tracking, flow and template creation, as well as calendar availability and scheduling. I primarily use it from an email tracking and scheduling standpoint, but it has so much capability for a sales org.
  • Flow and Template creation for easy messaging and outreach
  • Calendar availability and scheduling
  • Email tracking to measure opens and clicks
  • I get errors often on my tracked emails, for example, I'll get a bunch of opens at the same time for every email I sent that day, all in the same location
  • I have issues with the chrome extension, it will disappear randomly
It is great for an overall sales org, especially when it comes to BDR outreach and messaging. I like it from an AE standpoint, where you can copy and paste templates for outreach, easily schedule meetings, and monitor clicks and opens on your emails to more accurately measure if your messaging is hitting and engaging.

Groove assists with our mass outreach to outbound leads and inbound marketing leads. It allows us to track emails sent out and how our wording is tracking with prospects. Our team sends approximately 4,000 emails/day.
  • Adding in contacts from Salesforce
  • Sending mass emails
  • Creating Flow steps
  • Bugs when sending mass emails
  • Bulk removing people from a flow
  • Duplicate notifications
Groove is well suited for a max 500-person outreach; beyond that, bugs occur. This works for small outbound outreach teams or small teams, as well as internal company outreach. It is also a great tool for building custom outreach tactics, such as adding calls in between emails, templates, etc.

I use Groove daily for email campaign follow-up and to create automative flows. The product helps us solve mass emails with a personalized edge. It's refreshing how it links with all our tools i.e. Sales Force, Linkedin, and Google Workspace. Groove also helps us with contact cadences by setting up diversified flows. It's not just the basic email only, you can add phone calls and Linkedin messaging as well. This gives us a 360 automation source for bulk prospecting.
  • Ease of user interface
  • Ability to pull CSV files from other systems
  • Omni Dialer integration for calls
  • Opt-out option for receivers of the emails that automatically update your contacts
  • It's challenging to skip a step in a flow you've already set up
  • It would be cool to be able to set a flow that others on your team can use, just like a template
  • If someone is missing an email, the ability to just remove them from the entire flow would be helpful
If you are in sales and have to reach a broad audience, Groove gives you the ability to tailor your bulk messaging for specific campaigns. It also allows you to track the links so you can see when and how long your prospects are engaging with your messaging. You can also respond within the platform as you are reading the messages.
