Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial accounting software system with functionalities for small to mid-sized businesses. Sage Intacct delivers an array of core accounting applications such as a general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and order management to any accounting department or finance team. It also supports functionality for built-in dashboards, real time reporting, time and expense management, project accounting, revenue management, and global consolidations for multiple entities.

With an open API structure, Sage Intacct’s accounting solution also provides integration with any CRM, payroll, POS, or ERP system such as Salesforce, and ADP.

Sage support usually takes about 24 hours to get a response, but if it has to go to engineering, it usually takes about a week due to the fact they have to read and rewrite the code. They are dependable as far as knowing the system and how it is intended to operate.

There is a Sage Intacct community to find answers to questions within the system, but they do not really offer a support call center to call for simple questions. Rather you have to log a support case, which can be difficult to completely explain that issue you are having.

Most times it is easy to get support and it is mostly timely. Once for a large issue, we had to go through too many layers and a lower layer in the support did not take it to the next layer and tried to figure it out too long as it had a huge business impact.

As a support person myself, I am working with Sage Intacct support on a daily basis. I enjoy working with Intacct's team and very rarely do I ever feel like I am not being heard. Obviously nothing is perfect, and there is always room for improvement, but I feel confident that when I submit a ticket that it will be answered and dealt with correctly.

We do not have a dedicated rep, so we have to log cases for support. The case feature is cumbersome, requiring you to login to a different website, which also has a separate username and password. The cases can sometimes take a while to get resolve[d], unless you really push.

The support has been consistent and we haven't experienced any major issues with the core Intacct functionality. Where there are challenges involves custom-developed tools that our VAR has implemented for us. It can be more of a challenge to troubleshoot issues in these add-ons. Overall, I view the lack of needing support as a good thing.

The only end-user support you receive is provided by the VAR. Intacct rarely interacts directly with customers other than at the annual conference.

Sage Intacct support is above and beyond support I have received from any other software company. They are easy to get ahold of and are quick to jump all over any issue, big or small. My account manager is amazing and so helpful with all of my needs. They will also alert you of issues that may happen prior to you experiencing them.

I think Intacct support is good for self-sufficient users. I think "live" help could stand to improve. The responsiveness could vastly improve. It seems as though the hours that questions are answered are always "after hours" and not very timely for an EST workday. The help feature is a very useful tool as is the community. I'd like to see more requests in the community come to fruition.

I have been impressed by the "out-of-the-box" Help Center. The help pages are very detailed, and the "Help on this page" button is surprisingly intuitive. 90% of the time, when I click on it, I find the answer I'm looking for on the very first page. In the few instances where I cannot find the answers in these pre-written help pages, customer support has been more mediocre.
