It has so many different pages to go through to add a simple expense, for people that do not converse with computers this could prove difficult. A tutorial video on the home page may be a good solution.

Well, as already described, to have a significant different approach between cash and credit card treatment, is creating a special request for attention and a double work (one for each type) when reporting and claiming expenses. Most basics are good and understandable enough although one need to remember to create an heading before allocating transactions.

The interface isn't immediately intuitive to new users who are processing their first few claims, with the terminology perhaps unfamiliar to people who don't work with accounts or finance.

As I've said very straightforward and easy. Quick to log in, set up expenses, add in detail, upload receipts. The approver requires little input in approving. Very open dashboard allowing users to view how much has been spent and also on what - useful in reducing expenses in certain areas and keeping costs down.

There are many steps that need to be done more than once - for example, when you enter the detailed information for an expense when uploading the receipt, you must input the information yet again when connecting the receipt to a "claim item." However, other than this, I have had a great time using Webexpenses and am pleased with the overall usability.

Journey manager is incredibly difficult to use and a constant source of frustration, but the duplication of expense claims is very useful and the ability to edit once you've submitted something. I also like how you can save some items as drafts and then go back to add to them at a later date, i.e. if you don't have a receipt on you when you first add a claim, you can add this later.
