SMS needs some real work. It's very basic at this point. We're moving to Attentive for SMS for the time being, but I'd love to move SMS back to Klaviyo to keep everything under one roof someday. This would be more cost effective by far, as well as not depending on API's to sync all the time.

Not much success, but that is likely more of a facebook issue than klaviyo. We need to double check our settings and get that sorted out.
A/b testing is great - we particularly test subject lines when we have the time. Historical value, segmentation by location are also valuable to us.
Retention for sure. Still working on a good welcome series, but I think that will come with time.
We really like Klaviyo overall, but I'd love a ios app. I'd really, really like some sort of automatic resend option for non-openers. The current system for setting that up is super clunky. Mailchimp had an iphone app that was a simple 1-swipe to resend option. Boom. Done, from anywhere, without having to drag out a laptop.
Email campaigns are fairly intuitive, but there are plenty of places for improvement. We have to cut/paste tons of links for Shopify Collections, and that should be baked in for Button options. Resending is a kludge. Should be a simple slide option to resend to non-openers after x hours or whatever instead of changing dynamic lists all the damn time.

Klaviyo is an email marketing services I have implemented in two of the companies I have worked with. It has a user friendly interface so it's fairly easy to use, however we felt it lacked the structure of other suppliers out there.

Do not even bother with the company. We had problems with the data uploaded into their system being granted unauthorised access. In response to that, when contacted for more information on the incident, we have received blunt ignorance of all of our questions, leaving us with none of the questions clarified and a lot of rudeness. I haven't seen anything as appalling as this in the last 15 years.

Klaviyo has been recommended to us by a customer who was working with the company for a month. The company who has recommended us to the service has reached the same conclusion - do not even bother with Klaviyo as on the other side of the screen there's a company you cannot have a decent conversation with about a product that they provide.

It works fairly.
It's a decent platform with a user friendly interface, however it massively misses trust due to unsecured systems and support from customer service; support is a massive problem if you run a company and have a problem with the service that you can't fix. On the other side of the line, in our experience, there is no support or understanding which we haven't encountered with any other company we have done business online in the last decade.
