We use PathFactory in a number of ways, including for ABM and personalized campaigns, measuring engagement and content consumption from webinars, conferences, and campaigns, and for the sales team to have individualized tracks for prospects. We're gearing up to expand the usage of PathFactory to different sectors of the company and with more teams outside of demand gen and product marketing.
  • Measuring content engagement and user journeys.
  • Providing personalized tracks and pages for ABM.
  • Very easy to add in new content pieces and replace outdated ones.
  • Domain matching for using PathFactory outside of 1st party tracking (like for social ads).
  • Better and easier reporting with the ability to do saved reports in the platform.
PathFactory makes it incredibly easy to have multiple, similar explore pages/tracks that can be used in various places. This works great for ABM and Sales pages, especially when you need to create something quickly.

  • Simple and consistent landing pages without needing web or design teams. Huge time saver for us and helps our team be more efficient.
  • Searchable, filterable collateral library for internal use. Again, this helps us be more efficient and also makes sure that teams have the right and updated resources, as that's been hard to manage.
  • Providing a method for reps to provide curated content to prospects without Marketing intervention. Helping push deals down the funnel.
PathFactory has helped us implement ABM and targeted campaigns that have helped show engagement with target markets that are hard to track and also helped push along a one million+ deal. With PathFactory I was able to prove that 600+ users in the federal market engaged with a key piece of content. That market is hard to gauge, so that was a big win for marketing!
More than we originally thought, but once we got everything up and running it was well worth it!
We've been using this capability within sales tracks. Our sales team has personalized tracks set up that allow the users to look through low-funnel information. It's been slow to catch on, but it's getting there. I think we'll do more of this in the future.
I have evaluated Uberflip. PathFactory seems to parallel a lot of features, but it's more affordable.
I don't think we purchased premium support, but our plan does include a Client Services Manager who is amazing.
We meet weekly with Jennifer and I can't say enough about her. When issues have happened or we need help, she jumps on it quickly. If she doesn't know the answer, she pulls in Reggie or another on her team that can help. She goes above and beyond and has been very supportive, even when we had a lot of hard questions to answer from higher-ups. All this is on top of just being an awesome person.
Yes
I believe we got a work around first, but then it was either resolved or put in the queue to be resolved. It wasn't a big enough bug to really disrupt our use.
When it came time to renew and our decision maker was already set on not renewing, even though the rest of the team was firmly against it. Jen and the team went above and beyond helping us convince our decision-maker that keeping PathFactory was the right and most valuable choice for our marketing.

PathFactory is used to host multiple types of asset types which provides an important insight and overview of not only our current product suite, but also relevant hot topics covering anything from green crime to USA presidential elections. PathFactory allows Refinitiv to bring large amounts of important content in one track into a structured and informative format. The data we collate from PathFactory on visitors of our tracks provides us with a deeper understanding [of] their behavior which was not clear previously, so this has enhanced our ability to make better strategic decisions in how we nurture interested recipients of our tracks.
  • Content hosting.

  • API Feeds via its webhooks.

  • More details around form capture.
  • I would like to see categories to be free text and not be limited to choosing from the list used for Tags.
Given that Refinitiv is a relatively new brand in the financial world, we were spawn from Thomson Reuters, so our experience, top class product suite, and trusted clients came out of this together. Getting the message out there to prospects was important and PathFactory played an important role in hosting a lot of the content out there in the public domain via multiple channels. Another area PathFactory plays an important role is within our Demand Generation program in nurturing our prospects through a structured communication stream of relevant content.

  • Our Track hosting Risk Revealed content has yielded a positive impact to the tune of increased ROI for our business area
Refinitiv has definitely benefited using the tracks because it allows users to see what content pieces are proved successful and which have not. The flexibility of the tracks allows a user to amend a live track without causing any complications or contact experience. PathFactory is also increasingly been seen as a support mechanism for our campaign.
PathFactory's set-up and integration was a fairly smooth process. The clear and frequent communication was key to this smooth set-up.
I think the biggest contributor to potential buyers to make sound decisions is based around two key factors. One is the recommend feature of the track where the PathFactory AI Algorithm hones in on the potential buyer interest and to feed them a consistent stream of relevant information that meets their needs. The second is that the data collated from a recommend track allows us to see the effectiveness of the algorithm and how best to approach each client based on their engagement.
I have not used any other product that comes close to the capabilities of PathFactory.
I have been hugely satisfied with the implementation of pathfactory into our Marketing automation system (Eloqua). Using the webhooks has proved very valuable especially around the flexibility around what you prefer to feed into Eloqua.
Pathfactory is available pretty much 99.9% of the time. The only rare occasions, we have have hiccups is immediately after system updates
The analytics and reports feature is fairly new and have proved very popular with many areas of our business and is growing in popularity. The metrics that are attainable are very insightful and provides a clear picture on the performance of the track.
  • Online training
The onlie training by provided by account manages for our business is excellent. Not only are they very clear and understandable, the tutorials are very well structured and provided step by step visual aides to take away so we can refer back to them for future reference.
There is no doubt that we will be renewing our licence with Pathfactory given the growing popularity, benefits to our campaign and increase in overall metrics of a campaign where it is supported by a Pathfactory track.

The people who mainly use pathfactory are individual within the Marketing umbrella which covers our Digital, frontline sales, Marketing Activation and Marketing Automation.

I think the skills required to Build out tracks and support those who use the track need to have a pretty good understanding of its features and be fairly technical. These people are also have a data and analytics background.
  • Event marketing campaigns
  • Product info for clients
  • Demand Generation
  • We have been able to use Pathfactory effectively to support our demand generation campaign and use the data collated to personalize and nurture engaged contacts
  • We have been able to use some of the Pathfactory features for surveys on obtaining valuable research data which was unexpected.
  • Expand on Surveys but this depends on what new features become available to us

  • Price

  • Product Usability
Whilst price is always important, the product itself needed to support our marketing campaign from a content perfective (originally) and host a wide variety of content from PDF to youtube video links. being able to use it easily and manoeuvre around the features was equally important so supporting the wider team could be done easily and effectively.
If we had gone through the whole process again, the level of an engagement and understanding between the businesses would have been closer.
  • Implemented in-house
  • Unsure
I was able to browse around the tool quite easily once some basic training was given. I learnt much from using those method and only needed further help when wanting to learn about Reports, External codes and adding forms.
I think you can get to a good level without training but to use Pathfactory effectively, you do need training and I would definitely recommend a combination of the two
Its just right and allows you to choose how integrated you wish Pathfactory to become which is great
We have specific best practice guide for each user from our organisation. One of those is using master forms which ca be used across multiple tracks reducing the number of ad-hoc forms and taking up space within its folders. We also have a set guide to using TAGs and only those that exist on our website can be used to tag our content.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
Some - we have added small pieces of custom code
Some of the custom code centers around our business colours, logo and text.
none
Not Sure
I would support Pathfactory to a high level given the current relationship has been effective built around the "can do"attitude and thriving to understand more about each others business and wanting to expand our capabilities.
Yes
The Bug i refer to is with ad-hoc external codes built for specific reason and sometimes they do go awry but they are always fixed quickly when identified.
During a busy period during the summer when we were building out many tracks, the pathfactory users were still very much at a learning phase of the many pathfactory features and expectedly, I requested many updates, changes, amends and inclusions and not only was Pathfactory support turned each one around in a very short space of time but they were able to give detailed description into how many of the complicated issues were fixed by proving visual training videos of themselves, fixing each issue so we could learn from them. It also meant that we would not have to turn to Pathfactory for these issues in future. This would also free up time for them to focus on more complicated tasks for us.
  • Uploading content
  • Creating forms
  • Adding content to tracks
  • adding tags to content
  • building tracks
  • issues around Custom URL Slugs
  • Sharing Tags where content sits in multiple Tracks
  • adding additional CTA Buttons
  • Making changes to visual design
No
Overall, I think the tool is fairly easy to use to get a basic content uploaded to create a track and even the more complicated features become easier once you become familiarised with the process
Pathfactory is growing in popularity amongst individuals from different parts of the organisation and it would be difficult to forecast how scalable this can become
  • Eloqua
Pathfactory integration with Eloqua was not too difficult due to the easy and flexibility of the webhooks. We are feeding specific metrics that were chosen by us to populate a Eloqua CDO.
  • Salesforce
  • Snowflake
I think there may be an element of integration with salesforce but no certain.
  • File import/export
  • API (e.g. SOAP or REST)
web-hooks?
When we initially required a lot of data feeding into eloqua, we assumed that those would be a long tedious effort but it was completed inside a week due to it ease of using web-hooks and the flexibility in adjusting the level of integration.

PathFactory is mainly being used in our marketing department, however sales also leverages it for use of assets. It supports our content management and the ease with which we are able to share our content.
  • Easy to use thanks to the streamlined UI. I find the headings and categories that house the sections of the platform to be very clear and comprehensive.
  • Makes it very easy to manage content. I can filter by type, topic, date, etc and find what I need very simply. Changing details and information about a piece of content after it's been uploaded is easy to find and simple to do.
  • Integrations with other platforms that we use has been seamless. It's very easy to update a PDF that is housed in another software for example, if we have small tweaks to a file that have been changed, since the link within PathFactory to the file stays consistent.
  • This is a feature I've yet to completely dive into, but I appreciate the detailed analytics and features around this. It's great to get an overview or in-depth view of how our content is performing.
  • I'd love to see the Exit Intent pop up on content tracks be more customizable. It would be great to add a form, for example instead of a content asset.
  • I love the target track feature. I'd love to see more features added to this piece of the platform, such as different types of promoters and CTAs to get users engaging even further with the content.
PathFactory works well for content management, and for housing a comprehensive content library. It works great to integrate into a resources page or Explore page to display a large amount of content for users, or a more curated view. The target tracks feature is great for encouraging binging of content by users, I especially enjoy using this feature for creating themed content tracks that have a host of content on a related topic and then a relevant CTA to drive engagement. PathFactory works great in our marketing department, as well as for sales to leverage the platform for sharing assets. I think these are the best use cases for our company. We also leveraged the VEX part of the platform recently for an online event, which could be used in multiple areas of a business. I would say that this platform works best for companies who want to improve their content management and create a stronger content leveraging strategy to retain and attract users. I would say it may not work well for a company that doesn't really make use of online content or has no use for online events.

  • Has improved our user experience for content. It makes it a very pleasing and easy experience for users to view and engage with our content. Not only does the platform look nice (especially with the overlay feature that we can make a track hover over our existing webpage) but it works well, too.
  • We've been able to create relevant content tracks that group similar topics in a way that makes sense and better relate to users that are looking for content on a specific industry use case or topic.
  • We've leveraged PathFactory to create a completely revamped resources hub on our site. It looks and works much better than before for users, and we are expectant for how this will improve our users' experience when interacting with our hub of content.
We have been able to create targeted and customized content tracks that relate to the user or purpose of our individual campaigns or projects. Creating relevant and topic-specific content hubs allows us to speak directly to the use case or industry we are marketing to. This creates a relevant experience and high-value resources for our users or interested prospects.
I wasn't part of launching PathFactory, however from what I have heard from my colleagues it was a pleasant experience. It has been a bit of a large lift over time transferring our content into the platform, just in terms of switching everything over, however this process is easy (just takes time) and I can say with certainty that it is worth it for the ease of use that the platform provides in managing the content.
This has enabled our potential buyers by creating a less confusing and more personalized content experience. Potential buyers who are interested in our solution are able to easily find and consume the content they desire and get the answers they need to make an informed decision. Along with this, we are able to reach interested users with targeted tracks that we think will be relevant to them and help give them the information they need from us that's relevant to their needs and industry use case.
We also considered Uberflip for our content strategy. PathFactory appeared to be a better user experience both for the business leveraging it and for users viewing content. I have found that the features and ease of use within PathFactory make it a more robust yet simplified platform. I love how simple it is to update content assets, whereas with Uberflip it seemed a bit trickier of a process to do so. The way the content is displayed and organized is also more effective and useful within PathFactory, as things are easy to locate and leverage.

Creating content tracks by piecing related content together in a stream and choosing an appropriate CTA and form strategy, content creation, content uploading, building out a virtual event and its sessions, some HTML is helpful for microsites and other related use cases, content organization and attention to detail are important as well.
  • Creating content tracks for sales, marketing, customer use with our content in an organized stream. We use these tracks in lots of different ways, the main two are on the website and in sales platforms.
  • Using the virtual events component of the platform to build out and run our online events.
  • Managing our content and organizing all of our important content in one central place.
  • Using PathFactory's smooth integration with Marketo to quickly and easily update PDFs anywhere they live on our website.
  • Running virtual events!
  • Creating Explore pages with content for post-webinar comms.
  • Leveraging the Microsite Builder more to create personalized content pages.
  • Using more of the analytics features to see how our content is performing.
  • Use the comprehensive tagging features to further organize our content.

PathFactory is owned by the marketing operations and technology team, used in both B2B and B2C marketing. We use PathFactory for about 75% of the content experiences Glassdoor for Employers users engage with. We are also testing new ebook content formats in our B2C consumer audience, using PathFactory, in blog posts, email sends and social.

In terms of channels on the B2B side, this means 90% of Marketo email (blast and nurture), and currently still very small %s of blog, social and CPC. We use it on some of our resources library on the marketing website.

PathFactory allows us to drastically improve the old one-and-done Marketo landing page experience via complex form strategies that display based on behavior, time, known/unknown etc. This was the number one reason to purchase - we were really old school and wanted to catch up.

The next business problem we're able to address is the mind shift from counting clicks, form fills and opens as "engagement" to now measuring actual time spent reading, and integrating this into our multi-touch attribution model. Now engagement is about how educated the user is becoming about us, not their intent to read something.
  • Changing the way marketers think about the purpose of promoting content, and how we define engagement and readiness to buy
  • Platform ease of use - super intuitive and flexible
  • Onboarding, support, feature requests and product development
  • Can't wait for more depth in analytics
  • Improvements to UI to manage and have access to more columns in library and track views
  • Can't wait for recommendations to platform users on what content to group with a certain asset based on performance
If your organization has a large amount of content, and a lot of marketing activities to activate said content, PathFactory can no doubt help you get more value out of it in a more user-friendly manner. If you're eager to burn down your content landing pages, get this!

  • So far we have been able to measure a small lift in MQL to SQL conversion from PathFactory engagement versus no PathFactory engagement
Uberflip was really focused on the website experience, which was not where we were focusing our evaluation and needs.

Working with the Solutions Consultants is amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to go way above and beyond - ie working in our Marketo instance to trouble shoot form issues.

Love having access to chat the support team in-app.

CSMs are knowledgeable and we also get to draw on the expertise of marketers inside PathFactory.

I can think of two bugs and unfortunately they are not resolved yet. One related to uploading multiple assets at a time and thumbnails not loading. The second related to using the "start pdf on page __" feature causing the asset to show up blank.
So many times, I can't even count. Tarek Naim consistently provides us with exception support related to Marketo form issues and Bizible touchpoint creation. We've had innumerable phone calls and emails in order to get to the bottom of these challenges, and he has no problem working directly with our other partners to come to a solution for us and other co-customers.

  • Creating content tracks
  • Admin settings, custom code, etc.
