ZoomInfo is a perfect tool to discover the best person to sell your product. It helps a lot at a sales day to day by arranging emails, exporting data to the CRM, exporting activities and account from the CRM to the ZoomInfo platform, knowing who to contact, how to contact, and knowing all the contacts about the Decision-maker of the product I'm selling. It is a perfect tool for a salesperson to have.

Company insights and technographics data on their tech stack and other relevant details for scouting potential companies and leads.

Zoominfo intent data also provides insights into what kind of tech stack the company has already invested in, which is a sign of how proactive the company is, in investing in tools.
  • tech stack details
  • buying behavior and pattern
  • decision maker insights
  • sometimes insights are not available
  • the accuracy of data has been questionable at times
  • data filters should be same as LinkedIN, for uniformity and familiarity
It is suited when you need insights on US based companies specifically. In cases other than this there are other platforms that can be considered as well. Filters need to be effective and uniform across the board for companies to use it in all geographies effectively. Rest all seems good.

We use ZoomInfo for prospecting and account research. Historically the platform has just served as a tool for pushing contact information into Salesforce for our SDR team, but we have recently started to lean more into their intent data and WebSights. ZoomInfo is a key part of our strategy and allows us to gather necessary intel to drive our plan account-based marketing strategy. I have enjoyed the ability to filter intent data by company size. Finally, we use ZoomInfo for competitive information.
  • Integration with Salesforce
  • Contact data
  • Competitive Intel (who do our prospects use?)
  • Intent Data
  • Contact information can be up to 6 months behind
  • Updating duplicates in Salesforce under a new account
ZoomInfo is a fantastic resource for marketing and SDR teams to plan outreach, campaigns, and monthly/quarterly targets together. We have found that the tool is not well adopted by our sales team, who care less about the behind-the-scenes work SDRs are doing, oftentimes letting SDRs lead all prospecting.

We are still gauging how accurate WebSights are.

I've found ZoomInfo to be an invaluable tool in my business development efforts to prospect and secure new clients. I use it for direct phone numbers and email addresses, to isolate different individuals by title and/or location, and to get scoops or intent data around if/when a given company might be a good target and potential future buyer of Cushman & Wakefield's real estate advisory & brokerage services.
  • Direct phone number.
  • Direct email addresses.
  • Intent/Scoops.
  • Accuracy of some phone numbers and/or email addresses.
  • Up-to-date job titles.
  • Accuracy of individuals' office addresses.
ZoomInfo is generally a strong tool for gathering direct phone numbers and email addresses in order to improve my hit rate and increase my client base. Where it can stand to improve some is the accuracy of some of the phone and email information. Occasionally, I see the identical number listed for the same individual or the main number that is marked as direct. Neither is possible.

ZoomInfo is an amazing tool. We use to have a high dependency on paid marketing ad's on social media but with Zoominfo we are increasing our outbound reach through the data provided in it. Have seen a major productivity increase and expense dipping. It got several filters for prospecting which is very helpful
  • Good collection of leads
  • Most of the time data are accurate
  • Integration with Salesforce makes it easy use
  • 1000 credits are too less which are provided
  • Data need to be updated more frequently
It's an amazing tool overall if anyone is looking to increase their dependency on outbound sales. Some of the key features like scoops make it more useful with the information it gives. You can save the searches so that you don't have to set filters every time. Salesforce integration works like a charm

ZoomInfo is a necessity for my sales organization! We all rely very heavily on it for prospecting specific verticals as well as positions or divisions within an organization and the level of detail we get for contacts we are looking for is incredible. Makes it very easy to be able to more than double our reach out efforts as the contact information is so easily and readily available.
  • Can make a list of companies/prospects based on criteria I enter
  • Clean data is provided
  • Get user intent data
  • I would say it's 85% accurate but not 100%. That's OK but at times I am finding old data
  • I wish it could remember where I left off after searches, rather than start over.
It is a game changer in the sense of the time and details and data that I could spend hours on to get. For what I do, it's a no brainer and everyone should be using it.

We use Clickagy to track potential buyers that are using our competitor's technology. This helps us identify companies with high intent that are invested in similar technology our company offers. We can use this list as an ABM target list to go after these companies, create product awareness and educate these companies. It is a great way to create a pipeline, we have won customers from these tactics after nurturing.
  • Competitors Research
  • Technology partner research
  • ABM Strategy
  • Not all technology or keywords is listed
  • How long a company become intent, brief history will help
  • Details on which department or product line a company sending the intent singal. For bigger company it will be helpful to know.
Clickagy is useful for creating an ABM strategy target list and creating pipeline. Less appropriate when the intent signal is not strong enough when a company is only using for free trials or testing the products only and is not ready to buy yet.

In my capacity as an SDR, I use ZoomInfo to locate and collect prospect information. This includes phone numbers (both company and cell phone), email addresses, etc. While they do have other features that help you keep up to date on company information, I rarely, if ever, use those facets of the service.
  • Seamless integration with Salesforce.
  • Most accurate data available.
  • Plug-in Feature allows prospecting directly from LISN.
  • Much of the contact information is old/no longer applicable.
  • I rarely use the "company news" features.
  • The automated ad that pops up when you open the web page is annoying and has to go.
If you need to find contact information for a "decision-maker" at a specific account, ZoomInfo usually has it. The plug-in feature is very convenient while prospecting over LISN. ZoomInfo, in my experience, has not been useful when downloading company contact lists en masse. Much of the information is outdated and creates unneeded clutter in your CRM.

We use ZoomInfo to scrape contact info for prospecting. You can very easily export new contacts, leads, and accounts directly from Linkedin into Salesforce with a few clicks of a button. You can also do detailed account searches that can get pretty granular based on sector, geo, employee count, etc. Cool tool.
  • Scraping contact info.
  • Integrate into Salesforce.
  • Easy to export new accounts and contacts.
  • Login can be clunky.
  • Data is often stale or inaccurate.
  • Moving data from ZoomInfo to Salesforce can take forever.
ZoomInfo is very well suited/tailored toward sales organizations with an ambitious outbound engine. Reps can scrape contact information on their prospects, import into their CRM and begin sequencing their prospects with a few savvy clicks of a button. My experience with ZoomInfo makes it seem more appropriate for immature sales orgs still looking to bulk up their prospecting, more mature teams will likely not lean as heavily on the tool.

We use ZoomInfo to allow our SDR team to easily find better contact information when prospects have left an organization. If the prospect they are looking to speak to does not have valid contact information or if they were directed to speak to someone else without any contact data. We also use it to run ICP refreshes of data.
  • Provides mobile numbers.
  • Automates refreshing data.
  • Integration to Salesforce.
  • Technology in use from companies is helpful, but could be better.
  • Intent and email bounce data is another additional add on.
  • Lots of acquisitions they are still working through.
Persons and account data are incredibly important to any go-to-market leader. Zoominfo is the best I have worked with when it comes to allowing data to be enriched, enhanced, and/or updated on an automated or as-needed basis. The interface is relatively simple and user-friendly, as well. It certainly helps keep your TAM data up to date.

The business problem Zoominfo addresses in the lack of client contacts in our CMR. Currently I use ZoomInfo to research clients and prospecting information.
  • Organization of Data
  • Updated contact email and Phone
  • Providing Scoops about upcoming client initiatives
  • Don't place limitations on amount of contacts you can export
  • Easier way to drill down into current technology at a client account
  • Simple way to get a client email or phone
ZoomInfo suited me well when trying to pull info on client date email and phone. Less appropriate when I was trying to research about company initiatives and upcoming projects.

We use ZoomInfo to get contact information for recruiting outreach when working on searches for our clients.
  • Easy to find people by their full name
  • Easy to copy/paste contact information
  • Easy to Access the LinkedIn profile of the person
  • The contact information can be outdated or incorrect
  • The job title of the person is often incorrect
  • The revenue of the company is often incorrect
A very helpful tool for recruiting as it has both work and personal information for many candidates.

We use ZoomInfo to acquire the personal contact information of business owners that don't have a large presence on the web. We have lists of business names and owners, but getting through to them directly can be very challenging and Zoominfo helps us to get the information we need about 25% of the time.
  • Provides Contact Information
  • Provides Company Size Details
  • Makes it easy when on a company website or LinkedIn to gather personal info
  • Training
  • Customer Service
The database is very extensive. I think this can work well for a lot of sales reps out there trying to contact more established larger companies with 50+ employees. I had a list of a little over 300 names to try and get personal information back on and it returned 67 hits. The system doesn’t make it easy to upload lists unless they are an exact way. I found our onboarding person to be very incompetent. Our sales rep had to step in to rectify the situation, and he did, but the onboarding and training were rushed, and we felt steamrolled. When they offered to help they sent us a video to figure it out ourselves. I really had to push hard to get their team to get in there and help us. The fact still remains the output of the data we did receive made it worth the investment.

ZoomInfo is absolutely amazing! I have used a lot of lead generation search engines and ZoomInfo is far above the rest. We use it for all points of our ABM strategy. We have all sales and marketing team members engaged and actively using the product.
  • Integration is the best
  • Ease of use
  • Company description
  • Engage and Websights is not fully developed for marketing use
  • Industry categories are not consistent. Companies are not grouped accordingly
  • Contact filters in Engage do not work
It's a huge time saver when searching for contacts needing your service. The intent is amazing to narrow down our search even closer! Engage was not developed for marketing applications, but it fits the salesperson's needs. Training videos are good, quick, and easy to watch. They are not troubleshooting, troubleshooting is difficult to find.

I use ZoomInfo to make sure I have all the correct contacts in salesforce to call and email to get meetings. Having direct, cell, and business emails I am able to get a hold of many more prospects than just having LinkedIn and whatever data was previously in our company's database.
  • provide cell phone numbers
  • keep contacts up to date
  • allows easy export of contacts to salesforce
  • quick linkedin check with accounts on prospect page
  • mass exports of contacts to salesforce
ZoomInfo is great for new account managers to build up contact lists to be able to reach more people within a company to get meetings to drive business. The Org Chart breaks it down very easily to know which contacts you need to reach depending on what solutions you have to offer. You no longer need to blindly reach out to everyone and hope you are getting to the right people.

I used ZoomInfo here as well as in my previous role. The main reason that I have used it in both organizations is as a lead generation engine with solid contact information. We struggled to find good contacts and using ZoomInfo helped us tremendously through their site directly and with the Linkedin integrations they have.
  • simplicity in finding and exporting contacts
  • integrations with our crm
  • hooking up with linkedin
  • efficiency in building lists
  • price, it is wildly expensive
  • having options with less features
  • start with your "best price" rather than offering artificial discounts
Overall I really enjoyed my experience with zoom. It works well, has the features and functionalities that we needed. It would fit well if your goal is solid contacts. An example where it would not be ideal is with a really small organization where pricing is a massive concern because it is a very expensive program.

ZoomInfo has to be the most unethical company I've ever worked with. We purchased a one-year subscription to their ZoomInfo product which expired on 3/1/22. On 1/3/22 at 10:00 pm, I received an email asking who to send a renewal package to. I responded the very next morning stating that we would not like to renew and asked to confirm the last day of our contract to ensure we were paid through 3/1/21. The only response to my email was a DocuSign request for a new contract. I declined the DocuSign request and reiterated my intent to cancel at the end of our current contract on 3/1/22. Still no response until 3/11/22 when I received a call from a sales rep asking how we were going to pay for the renewal. After numerous attempts to deal with the rep directly, I contacted their legal department who responded that they intend to enforce a valid renewal in excess of $15,000. I am certain based on other postings here that we're not the only company that has encountered this renewal scam. I would like to speak with anyone else who has been scammed this was to initiate a class-action lawsuit to prevent this type of scam from continuing in the future. Do not do business with this shady organization. They are running a renewal scam and have no ethical compass.
  • They ignore the wishes of their customers very well
  • They don't care about the success or desires of their own customers
This was the worst experience I've ever had with a company that doesn't seem to care about its customers. Does anyone think it's reasonable to scam your own customers?

My team of 6 SDRS use ZoomInfo daily and it has given us at least 10x of the right data and contacts. In the first 60 days of using it, my team have gotten the right contacts to get more meetings. We used DiscoverOrg before and wasn't getting the right contacts, numbers, emails and overall data we needed.
  • More Data
  • Right Data
  • More access
  • SFDC intergration
  • Not enough credits to team
We were able to leverage a client we never had any information on. In addition, we were able to look up their benefits consultants and health plan managers associated to that account and get more intel as well. From this surround sound effort, we were able to land a client we never thought we could had before.

We use ZoomInfo for a variety of things. It's a really handy and capable tool. In sales, we love it for prospecting, looking up companies and employees, gaining company financials and statistics, and leveraging the power of Intent. It really shines when you couple it with Salesforce to share one unique library of databases. For hunting and prospecting, it is the most valuable tool I've ever used.
  • Prospecting
  • Hunting
  • Accuracy
  • Information
  • Sales
  • UI
  • Speed
  • Keeping it always updated
  • Intent Signals
Scenarios where ZoomInfo is well suited are many more than you would think. It is invaluable and essential if you are in sales and prospecting. You can look up anybody at any company, even new companies and start ups, and get phone numbers as well as emails for your contacts to start reaching out. I've never had a problem with statistics being inaccurate, although occasionally you will get an expired phone number. When this happens, just reach out to support and have them do some digging to update it for you. I really can't think of scenarios where it is less than appropriate, because it does what it does really well.

  • Finding cell phone numbers

ZoomInfo is used basically for prospecting in our sales department. It also gives the target's contact info and organization hierarchy in the company summary document. We can also find companies with many filters like revenue, location, specific technology too. It's good that we can export the list of companies or targets which we have selected in the list. The problem that it solves is finding lead contacts. Finding Organization hierarchy and key decision-makers Finding the key scoops and challenges (Fundings, Employee counts, etc)
  • Company information like Annual revenue, funding, found year
  • Latest news and signals about the company
  • Company hierarchy and their contact information
  • Pricing
  • Some times it brings up old news and signals
  • User Interface
To be specific it is best suited to the marketing and sales department for lead generation and also for market research. Export function of accounts and leads Import function is one the most useful feature and also we can import the doc into the CRM to reduce the time and effort. Company summary documents give the pain points or challenges faced by the company, which makes our life easier to hit on the low hanging opportunity

I have used ZoomInfo InboxAI at a previous job and liked it very much. It's simple to use and proved very good information. At my current job, I used ZoomInfo InboxAI as a trial but was unable to justify the cost based on the number of contacts a month that I would require. We send out e-mails to potential prospects and need a way to either locate their e-mail and/or phone number. ZoomInfo InboxAI provides the details we require.
  • Search.
  • Mobile numbers when available.
  • Smaller packages.
  • Price for small business.
For the large - Big business looking for leads and prospect's details, it is worth it.

For the smaller business requiring maybe 25 or less information a month, it is NOT worth it.

Within my organization, ZoomInfo InboxAI allows us to see the communication history with any associated account which is especially helpful when there is staff change or for growing organizations where new people get added and it helps the new person taking over the account to get up to speed quicker by being able to pick up on the previous conversations.
  • Automated Intelligence and Outreach
  • Webform Optimizations
  • Website Visitor Tracking
  • Credits per months
  • Usage restrictions
  • Outdated data
What I find most helpful is how granular you can make your searches from one person to the next or when digging into the profile of a company that fits a specific market we show resonates with our products and services. The learning curve can take up some time but only has to be done once and everything after that is saved and or automated.
