Our sales team uses it to grow our target audience and reach the right people so that our message reaches the best person vs. mass emailing an organization this approach is much more targeted and meaningful. I would say without ZoomInfo this would be a much harder and time staking task.
  • Great direct phone numbers.
  • Correct HQ which is huge plus!
  • Email syntax that is correct!
  • Updated information for when someone leaves a company.
+ When someone signs up for a webinar or white paper download and we don't get the correct information or a typo (we are all human). So we can look up this information and get them the right information they requested.

- When someone doesn't want to be added to your system, there should be notations within ZoomInfo to let us know it's a common theme amongst this person.

My firm did a deep look into solutions to supplement the data in our CRM for current clients and prospective clients. ZoomInfo offered the greatest amount of data and tools by far. So far, I have been able to aggregate lead list with much more data available on individual contacts which I would not have been able to find any other way. The ability to create the list based on company contacts has made the ability to come up with an efficient call list much easier. Highly recommend looking into ZoomInfo and all it offers.

ZoomInfo is ideal for those that are newer to sales and looking to build a pipeline. They also have a great deal of webinars and articles that also help those who may be newer to sales to understand how to use their tools most efficiently. Having the intent list has been a game-changer in finding hot leads who are already considering the products I sell.

ZoomInfo is a decent product. Their database is mostly relevant and of good quality. However, when it came time to renew, we wanted to pause for a few months. They had an auto-renew in the contract and when I tried to cancel (which was before the beginning of the new year) their legal [team] got involved and threatened litigation! Life is too short. I will personally never do business with them again and I hope potential future customers read this review and decide to go elsewhere. There are a lot of database companies out there. [I recommend you] go find one that cares about their customers.

ZoomInfo is used across our Business Development teams as a sales intelligence platform. ZoomInfo allows us to identify target accounts, key decision makers at those accounts, and easily export their data as a lead or contact into our Salesforce CRM. We also leverage the alerts feature, which notifies us of news or changes at our target accounts.

  • Easy integration with our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Growing company with an expanding feature set on the platform.
ZoomInfo is an essential tool for new business prospecting. I would suggest this platform to any new business team who are looking to gather up-to-date contact info with easy integration into their respective CRM. For companies that do not focus as much on new business, but rather keep growing existing clients, I don't think the use case for ZoomInfo would be as strong. I'm sure client service teams could use the platform to stay on top of their accounts, but I see ZoomInfo as a catalyst for new business.

My organization uses ZoomInfo for prospecting. It is incredibly helpful and a CRITICAL tool in our toolkit that makes prospecting effortless. Between finding accurate email addresses & phone contacts and finding out what technology is used by certain companies, ZoomInfo has become an integral part of my workday and I use it constantly!

  • A slightly simpler interface...there are so many boxes in so many places.
  • Adding an employee title category rather than so many similar titles in the search.
ZoomInfo is very helpful when I need to find a particular contact's info...for example, I will receive a lead that only has an email address and I will use ZoomInfo to capture the person's phone number as well. It's also very useful for searching for new customers to contact.

Department use in Sales, a way to form lists to manage in our CRM. Those lists are catered to a specific industry or vertical with ZoomInfo's search capabilities and exported via Excel file to be uploaded and called/emailed as new business development.
The business problem it addresses is forming a solid list of potential clients to interact with.

Well suited in many ways for new business development. Not only is it great for compiling lists of potential clients to interact with, but also a data base of people, titles, and positions ready to be used a search engine for research. It is less appropriate for anything past information of the client, person, or company.

I have been using ZoomInfo for the better portion of two years and I love the power it gives me. I am able to create prospecting lists for account mapping whilst giving myself a cold call list to help drive deal registrations on my own. Having used other lead generation tools in the past, I can say that ZoomInfo has a higher level of accuracy than most other services and the information I pull from the site has always added some value to the conversations I have with resellers and customers.

Here at Maxwell, the sales team uses ZoomInfo on a daily basis. ZoomInfo allows the sales team to work more efficiently - giving us the direction needed when prospecting a company - knowing we are reaching the right people and having access to contact info has been a tremendous help.

We started the trial version of ZoomInfo on Tuesday afternoon and have really enjoyed using it so far. Our sales team uses it. And it provides the info we need to contact certain Key Players, including direct dials, email addresses, extensions, etc.
  • They responded to my email extremely fast.
  • They solved an issue I had within an hour.
  • Their data has been accurate so far.
  • I've noticed that the last time contact info was updated was around this time last year. I'm assuming that it will be updated again soon, but if not, that's definitely something that should be looked into.
ZoomInfo cuts our research time in half. I've also been able to contact more individuals in a typical workday compared to before we had it.

I was on a free trial with Zoominfo, getting to know their site and all it had to offer.

Zoominfo has great information that I rechecked on Linkedin. I found very minor discrepancies, but overall the information was very solid. This would be a great tool for a company with a team dedicated to learning and utilizing everything that Zoominfo has to offer, but as a small company with only a few people dedicated to lead research, we are not equipped to pay the price nor take full advantage of all Zoominfo has to offer (like their intent tool which can help you target leads and create lists for marketing and sales)

Zoom is currently being used by the Business Development Managers across our company. It allows us to receive cell phone numbers, business phone numbers, and emails of prospects we are searching to sell our services to.

ZoomInfo is available to every Account Executive in our Company. It is an excellent resource for finding high-quality leads and information that would otherwise be difficult to find. Using ZoomInfo, I can target companies using very specific parameters as well as find the names and contact information of C-Level Executives for the companies I am prospecting. I have greatly increased the number of good leads that I find on a daily basis by utilizing ZoomInfo. The ability to create call lists based on targeted parameters such as company revenue, employee count, industry, sub-industry, and even specific SIC codes enables me to really tailor my lists to find the exact type of company that I want to find. It is extremely rare to come across a company on my list that does not ship.
  • Gives users the ability to create custom lists with many useful search parameters.
  • Gives users contact information on C-Level executives that would typically be difficult to find.
  • Sends out daily/weekly emails to update users on new additions to saved searches.
  • This is truly nitpicking because it's not that much of an inconvenience, but it would be nice if when I went back to the previous page while using a search list, if the results would stay in the same order and on the same pages so I would know if I have called them already without having to go back through my notes.
If your job requires you to do prospecting and lead generation, then I have found no better tool for this than ZoomInfo. I have found that using ZoomInfo to find leads is by far the most productive use of my time compared to any other method of finding leads. I also love that they send daily/weekly emails letting me know about new companies in my target markets and search lists. I'm looking forward to the ZoomInfo Conference tomorrow (6-16) so that I can learn even more about all the ways to maximize the success I have had using it.

ZoomInfo is being used by the Sales and Marketing teams across several continents. It helps us prospect more effectively, develop better leads and contacts, and understand where our clients are headed.
  • Provides "Scoops" so you can act on public and/or private company info.
  • Provides contact info (business emails, supplementary emails, mobile and direct phone lines) that has been checked by their data scientists.
  • Provides org charts so you can get an idea of the company structure, so you know where to penetrate.
  • Uses NAICS codes, and allows you to search by NAICS.
  • Lets you search by location, from the granular (zip code) to the macro (continent level).
  • Once you have identified a company you want to target, there is a "similar companies" button.
  • Lets you tag, customize searches and then subscribe to them to receive email updates.
  • I wish I could submit a ZoomInfo data request for every company (big or small) I want to see there. Sometimes start-ups or smaller companies are not on the platform.
ZoomInfo is an excellent tool if you are trying to build a pipeline, prospect, or reach new contacts at a company you already have business with. If you are trying to work with companies that are already somewhat established (mid-market or larger), it is a very useful tool. If you are trying to target start-ups or smaller organizations, ZoomInfo may not have any information on contacts, so it's less helpful there.

We use ZoomInfo as a means of finding contacts at companies we are targeting and contact info that we cannot find elsewhere. We have also been impressed with the company info available, revenue, size, locations, etc. For years we have gathered leads from trade shows and been missing contact info, now with ZoomInfo, we can fill in missing blanks and reach more targets.

We have used ZoomInfo for our commercial and residential departments. I've been very impressed by the quality of data that's been available through the ZoomInfo Platform. It's hard to find the correct people in a data organization, but with ZoomInfo you have access to the complete sales org chart which can be extremely useful.

Our sales organization is using it to prospect clients and prepare for meetings w/ prospects. We're leveraging it for research and to understand where there may be potential buying tendencies.

  • Allows for a narrowed search with easy to use filters.
  • I would like to better understand some of the charts and graphs that are provided. More context would be helpful.
  • I don't like that every time I go into one of the accounts in my intent search, when I go back it takes me all the way to the beginning not where I left off.
  • I found it strange that within a two day span that some of the companies on my intent search were not consistent. One day they were on the list and the next they were not, same search criteria.
Anytime you are looking to increase your knowledge about an organization, this tool is helpful. For what we do, it helps round out the other tools we use such as MiEdge and LinkedIn. I honestly need to spend more time leveraging how it can be working for me and it sounds like there are videos I can pull down to do that.

Our Marketing team mainly uses it daily to generate bulk leads. It is very useful especially since it has an export to excel feature. This is very convenient for us since we do have a quota for each working day and being able to export records saves us so much time rather than manually clicking each person or company and copy-pasting each information needed.

We are using ZoomInfo to do lead generation and importing new contacts for prospecting into Salesforce CRM.
Zoom Info is being used by our sales department to search for new organizations that can utilize our services. This tool has saved us so much time and allows [us] to import new leads with the simple click of a few buttons. Lead generation takes less time and the bulk imports, saved searches, and category searches are real-time savers. Being able to continue a search from a pre-saved template makes such a difference. Instead of a few hours, quality leads can be saved and contacted in a matter of minutes.

ZoomInfo is an excellent tool for learning about new businesses to target and doing lead generation, The database provides plenty of useful information, a high level of overview of companies allows for a quick study. Being able to access so much information on a company so quickly makes it easy to present an offering and evaluate how to best serve their needs effectively. Knowledge is power and understanding the organizational structure, annual revenue, hierarchy, and nomenclature at a glance is a huge time saver. If an organization does not have time to sift through companies and contact information then ZoomInfo is probably not the tool for you, if you do not have a heavy-duty CRM like Salesforce [or] HubSpot in place then you should probably wait longer to use a tool like ZoomInfo. ZoomInfo is for identifying customers that fit in your target audience and connecting with as many organizations as possible.
