  • Inexpensive. The product is good value for money and is a good choice for small businesses that just want a simple CRM and don't care too much about integration.
Cons
  • Complicated. The product is not that intuitive and definitely requires training. It does not have the ease-of-use that we have come to expect of more modern products.
  • Poor integration with other Zoho tools. This was a major disappointment. Zoho CRM is part of a broad suite of products and our expectation was that these various tools would all be completely integrated. That is not the case. For example, we wanted to integrate the CRM with the help desk and bug tracking modules. Integration with bug tracking was not really possible and integration with the help desk system was just a simple logging of help desk tickets. The various modules are still disparate tool sets.
  • Rather barebones though flexible. The CRM product is pretty basic, but does offer lots of configuration options.

Implemented Zoho CRM for our sales, finance, and operations departments. It gives a central repository for all of our client data for our operations team. Zoho helped streamline our inter-department communication, specifically when it comes to onboarding new clients from sales.
  • Management of client information.
  • Easy to deploy across departments.
  • Integrates best with other Zoho products.
Cons
  • UI is not very intuitive.
  • A bit difficult to learn.
Zoho helps particularly well in the Organization of client information. It makes our inter-department communications more efficient. Integrate well with the Zoho ecosystem.

We use ZOHO CRM for our own business sales process as well as being a VAR for Zoho. We use other ZOHO modules across the entire organization - ie Books (accounting) and Creator.
The entire ZOHO suite has proved to be a fantastic resource for our company. And, as a partner, they are extremely valuable because they work hard to help their reseller network which in turn provides growth to the entire ecosystem.
  • ZCRM is ideal for tracking leads to conversion in the sales funnel. ZCRM provides seamless conversion from Lead => Contact => Account => Potential, etc.
  • ZOHO is far better than any other CRM, particularly SFDC, with 3rd party integration. They are more open with API and development tools.
  • ZCRM provides the most value for dollar making the system an affordable for SMBs. The functionality is equally as robust as more expensive competitive CRMs.
Cons
  • This is an issue with most CRMs, but I wish there was an easy way to 'de-dupe' lead information
  • I'm not sure this is a bad thing because 'upgrades' and enhancements to the platform always good. But, Zoho does a lot of them, they are constantly improving the system. The 'bad' thing is the communication from ZOHO to the partner community and the end user is sometimes lagging. Again, LOVE the improvements, just need to tighten up how quickly the info is rolled out to the 'public'
Zoho CRM is ideal for SMBs and MEs. I think once you get into a situation of more that 100 users, the platform becomes challenging in terms of the on-boarding process. During our scoping process it's important for us to understand how many end users will be leveraging the system. In addition, any other tech platforms currently being used that can and should be integrated with ZCRM - e.g., email, telephony, etc. This is critical because one of the unique selling points for ZOHO is their ease of integration with third party software. Unlike SFDC where there is an exhaustive process to become part of their app exchange, ZOHO allows more access through API development.

As a promotional products dealer, we use Zoho CRM to track leads and conversions to accounts, and potentials as they travel down the pipeline in various stages until we quote a client. And then once a client signs off we use Zoho CRM for sales orders and purchase orders to track the clients order and provide updates as to it status. I have virtual assistants working with me and they both have access to various stages in the process based on their specific roles. And we all have access to client and vendor info to use in performing our specific duties. I've used other CRMs in the past and definitely feel that Zoho has it down to a functional app. What I love most is the use of merge letters and emails as we use those many many times on a daily basis. We value Zoho so much that we subscribed to Zoho One the all inclusive suite of apps to run our business. Zoho continues to outperform all others with the introduction of new features and updates making their system superior yet still extremely affordable.
  • Tracks interactions with clients.
  • Allows anyone on your team who you've provided access permissions to the ability to share the same info.
  • A trusted source for your CRM data that you can access from anywhere in the world via your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
  • Integrates across the board with the full suite of other Zoho products
  • Easy to use yet full customizable.
Cons
  • Everyone once in a while Zoho CRM will make a features update without advance notification.
  • Ease of converting a Sales Order to a Purchase Order without having to re-input vendor info for each line item.
  • More consistency of names in Zoho CRM and Zoho Books. In Zoho CRM there are quotes, Sales Orders, and Purchase Orders. In Zoho Books there are Estimate, Sales Orders and Purchase Order and Vendor Bills. Would be awesome if a Quote in Zoho CRM would map over to an Estimate in Zoho Books and the same with Purchase Orders in Zoho CRM to map over to PO's in Zoho Books.
  • Have been a longtime user so I started out on the Global edition. There is a US edition which I'm not able to easily migrate over to so some functionality is lost but it's not been enough of a stumbling point to truly turn us away from Zoho.
I generally tell people because of the various suites of apps that Zoho has to offer, it's a great service as you can grow and expand as you need some of the other modules and they all integrate seamlessly together. And if someone just needs a contact manager for an uber basic contact list, Zoho has an app for that as well that can be upgraded to a more feature rich service later when needed. There is a free trial but my advice to anyone who wishes to truly incorporate Zoho CRM or the full suite of Zoho One into their business to work with a certified Zoho Partner who can customize Zoho CRM so you can onboard yourself and staff much more quickly based on how your currently operate your business. While Zoho is not as widely known as SalesForce or even Hubspot, it is simply a superior product for any size business.

We are using Zoho Organization wide. Zoho CRM is not just a CRM tool, its a suite of apps ranging from CRM to Email Marketing to Billing to Customer Support to Cloud documents. I must say we love it.
  • Salesforce automation
  • Customer Service
  • Inventory Management
  • Website Integration & Leads Assignment
Cons
  • Custom fields are limited to 150/module. I suggest they should raise this limit.
  • You can't use output of a formula type field in an other formula. You should not use Zoho for calculations intense applications.
  • Inventory Templates (Quote/Invoice/Sales Order/Purchased Order) are not very customizable until you know HTML.
Zoho is well suited for businesses of all kind- from small to medium sized businesses. The best thing is all of the Zoho apps are tightly integrated with Zoho CRM. Industry-wise Zoho works well, except financial institutions which need lot of mathematical calculations.
