The single employee record is fantastic. Dayforce is fast and when we make a change to an employee the data is quickly available and there is very little time taken to refresh the reports and output. We use Dayforce to daily to support management decisions around compensation and the status of the employees, eg. active, on leave, etc.

In my previous role using Ceridian Dayforce, we used Ceridian Dayforce for Recruiting, Performance, and Compensation. which really helped keep many HR processes within one system. We were able to recruit directly into Ceridian Dayforce. Then with the Performance & Compensation modules, we were able to conduct our performance reviews and save scores to be able to use them in our merit compensation cycles shortly after. No more spreadsheets tracking performance review scores and potential increase amounts! Even in situations where data has to be managed and manipulated externally, Dayforce has very good import capabilities to store that data within the system.

The facts that Ceridian Dayforce is in real-time, we now have the ability to fill positions quicker and weed out ill-fitting candidates without wasting planning days and meeting times to manually pick through applicants on the hiring team. This has been such a great time saver for so many people since we require input and representation from all departments on our hiring teams.

Great improvement! Easy to set a schedule for employees. See the compensation history, employment history. Access any dispensary actions if any. Able to match employee with SS # is helpful; names could be different from previous employment due to marriage. Dayforce continues to be more helpful with each update! Thank you!

In terms of hiring, the new hire forms have been very simple for the managers to use. We have not used the extent of the hiring feature, though. Scheduling is relatively easy to do, but found that it was sometimes specific. A few issues happened with premium pay, but after figuring out the problem, we were able to fix it and the scheduling (and anything related to scheduling, such as pay) ran smoothly.

Instead of having to log into five different platforms to gather and compare information, we can now look to a single integrated source. One of may examples is Performance Management and Compensation Management. These two Ceridian modules feed information into each other, which makes it much easier for managers to compare increases based on performance and make better, more equitable decisions when it comes to compensation.

Before implementing Dayforce, we did everything through Excel sheets, paper records, and emails. Dayforce has allowed us to track applicant history and prevented us from making many bad hires. It has given us a much easier way to record employee history and performance reviews. It has also made us less reliant on internal tribal knowledge for day-to-day administration activists.

Though we aren't using Performance Management yet - we use Dayforce heavily to make headcount decisions for our organization. The Recruiting Module/People Module/Reporting Module all work in harmony to ensure that we have a constant pulse on our current headcount, what we need, and what we need to fill. Using that info allows us to make informed hiring decisions

The same frame of logic also occurs in performance/comp, we have a constant view of employee job performance and make informed decisions based on that data

Ceridian DF is excellent software which has many uses. Processing payroll, administer benefits, onboarding, reporting, attendance tracking, year end statements, goal setting, scheduling, time off and much much more. Annual compensation adjustments and retros are easily entered and calculated.

The single application has been amazing. Our previous provider you needed to work across multiple platforms to get something like a paycode or holiday added. The seamless integration between the systems means you save time, energy and money by being able to have all of the component parts on the platform talk to one another.

With this single application management is able to ensure that there is consistency of scheduling on each day of the week, which equal the same amount of hours worked by all scheduled staff within a 24 hour pay period. Example everyday my company should have a total of 96 hours at the end of the shift and at the bottom of the timesheets it shows the total amount of hours
