I love how quickly I can find the information on a company and/or individual that I am looking for. Especially within my territory and size company that I am targeted to serve, I can easily filter and save these searches when I have time. Then I can access them when I have built in time daily to actively seek to connect with these people.

I find outbound prospects and companies to reach out to for a free demo of our HR talent management software. I'm on ZoomInfo daily for prospecting and mass important hundreds of contacts a week.
  • Most companies that exist are on ZoomInfo I feel.
  • Many contacts have multiple phone numbers I can call them on.
  • It's easy to mass import many contacts from ZoomInfo into Salesforce.
  • Sometimes contacts' emails bounce or are incorrect.
  • Sometimes the provided phone numbers are not for the correct organization. Example: when I reach out to cities/municipalities, the HQ line often given is the police department, not the city itself where the prospect is employed. Or it's a city with the same name in a different state. A real example is Windsor, CO vs Windsor, CT.
  • I feel like it takes a while for ZoomInfo to update information if someone no longer works at an organization. It will say they're still employed there when I'm told they haven't worked there for a long time now.
The reason I am successful at my job as an ADR is [that] I rely on the info in ZoomInfo. It's the main form of prospect sourcing I use to call/email people and complete my job tasks. So daily I use it and have success.

I use ZoomInfo to find contacts in companies whose searches have triggered the criteria that my company has paid for on ZoomInfo. We then funnel those contacts into Salesforce to begin hitting them with multiple marketing strategies. The main business problem that this product address is finding qualified leads.

Need to validate the quality of leads with ZoomInfo - looking at the number of employees in the company and also looking at whether or not the person exists within the ZI Employee section. Also, use ZoomInfo to look at Scoops for companies of interest. Recently, our team has begun using ZoomInfo to create lists (using specific titles, locations of interest, etc.) of people that will be targeted with a personalized reach out.

ZoomInfo allows us to cross-check data within our CRM and build prospect lists. This data is used in various Marketing Campaigns and/or sent over to our SDR Team for their own campaigning needs. Both SDRs and Marketing personnel also use ZoomInfo data as needed on a day-to-day basis as well.

  • Account Management - Would prefer for only ONE Zoominfo rep to contact me regarding new features, our contract, and renewals, etc.
  • General improvement regarding the Accounting group and their interaction with clients - had been emailing someone that had been gone from my group over a year for example
  • COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS - I have had to explain a specific situation regarding our account to multiple persons at Zoominfo; our account manager or customer success rep should have been doing this for us.

This has helped us continue to build our sales funnel despite everything that's happened over the past few years and makes finding new customers easier, even for our sales reps who've been in the role for years.

We use ZoomInfo specifically for our Enterprise sales team to help find prospects who have specific positions within specific departments at different verticals they want to target. ZoomInfo has made this process very easy with a fantastic custom search function, our sales team is very satisfied with ZoomInfo compared to our low level of success with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. We also found the export function to Salesforce has been very helpful for reps as the process is quick and simple.

I use ZoomInfo to generate leads and to obtain information about prospect contact information and company insights for those prospect companies. The business problem that the product addresses for me more than anything is that it helps to provide contact information for prospects that is not available anywhere else (including LinkedIn Navigator).

I use ZoomInfo every so often for work. When we have to send out a marketing email push, ZoomInfo is a great tool to use to get a large number of email addresses together. And they are relevant emails, not just random team members who will either not care or have no decision-making power. The tool is also very useful for when we receive unsolicited emails ourselves. We can use it to verify that the person is who they say they are and represent the company they say they represent.

ZoomInfo is the most useful to marketing personnel. It is great for looking up customer information, for filling in missing information in a customer database, and also for compiling a large, useful list of emails for a cold marketing email push. I use ZoomInfo Recruiter to source passive candidates. I reach out to people in Hospitality, Medical, Engineering, Transportation, Non-profits to name only a few industries. Most of my roles are high-end roles, like Directors, General Managers, CEOs, etc. but I do use it to source low-level people too like Receptionists and Administrative Assistants.
  • Has most people I want to contact in the database that I've found on LinkedIn
  • It's really easy to use and understand.
  • Exporting contacts is easy and the ability to reach many more candidates on a monthly basis than LinkedIn.
  • The ability to move more candidates over to Engage on a daily basis.
  • The ability to let ZoomInfo know that contact information is bad
  • The ability to get credit for bad contact information, like a credit on your account
I LOVE ZoomInfo! The ability to reach out to people at their business or with personal email or cell is invaluable. You rarely can find this information on other platforms. It's well worth the cost, as we made up the fee for ZoomInfo in ONE placement of a candidate we found/sourced on ZoomInfo.

We subscribed to ZoomInfo for more timely leads based on "buyer intent" from client search history. We have been disappointed that many more times than not when we contact the targeted companies we are told that they have not been searching and/or are not interested in the solution to the search terms we are pursuing. This has been consistent across all search terms and company sizes in our experience. We have found some actionable intel within the scoops reports, but it is often RFP-related, which can always be found without paying for a lead-gen subscription. I do applaud the degree of accuracy on their contact info... much higher success rates than some of the other groups we have used, but very pricey solution (for us) if the only tangible benefit we get is a higher degree of contact info correctness to load into our CRM.

  • More contact cell phone numbers (SMS messages are responded to much more than email).
The tool is very intuitive and user-friendly. Ultimately it depends on what it is you are buying it for. If the ZoomInfo team can deliver the Holy Grail we all want and tell us WHO exactly is doing the searching, then we could isolate who to contact within the target account and there would not be a company in the world that would not use them! The software is easy to use and the info is spot on, so if you want BI and data to build out your CRM they are a great source.

ZoomInfo is used to collect contact data for sales prospects at my company. We need to be able to reach potential clients as well as customers and ZoomInfo gives us up-to-date information on how to reach them. It also notifies me of any changes in position or if the person has left the company. Without a tool like this, a sales role can become much more difficult. I was calling into companies where the employee on the other line would explain how the prospect had not worked there in a few years. It was quite embarrassing and I thought I could rely on my resources at the time for correct information. The software integrates well with Salesforce and Chrome. This is something our last provider did not offer. Our last data collection provider was very out of date and had a clunky interface from the user's perspective. We have an added bonus on ZoomInfo with the use of scoops too. Not only do we have our contacts' information across thousands of accounts, we now know of executive changes, when they are going over initiatives and other company news that helps us improve our research.

  • Some of the accounts are unclear about who works there and I have to revert to looking at their emails to find out if they work at the company I am looking at or if they work at a subsidiary company.

It's well suited for any sales role and I would consider it a must to have this software. It will work well with any b2b sales team but I do not see it working with c2b sales teams. My role deals with enterprise-level executives and it couldn't have been better.

We do a lot of cold lead generation for vertical-based sales campaigns. ZoomInfo allows us to get very detailed lists of contacts and organizations of potential buyers. It is also an amazing utility in order to research and gather specific information regarding almost any contact within a company. This in the end is a huge time saver and allows us to focus more time on more important things.

This tool takes the hard work out of lead generation and research for sales/marketing initiatives. Every day ZoomInfo is able to provide updates in your inbox with company news, very useful for Business Development roles.

it is a widely regarded tool across the industry and easy to use, implement, upload lists, append for additional data, etc. I use it every day for my company and for regular tasks is quick and simple. If you need to upload a list to append for either contact or company information is easy to edit your search results. I wish there was a way to edit how many people from one company you find in your search results.

We use ZoomInfo to get insight like tools used and what they might be investigating currently. We also use it to find new leads and to scrub leads we already have but might not have the most up-to-date info for. I love that they have tons of working mobile numbers available!

We use ZoomInfo to find people and their contact information at companies we want to do business with. We import directly into SalesForce whether it be a one of or a list we pull out of ZoomInfo. The only issues are there are days where it does not load due to back-end issues on their side of things. Maybe one day a month, but is fine the next day.

  • Stops working due to back end issues once a month-ish.
It is perfect for someone trying to find companies or contacts they want to prospect and sell to. It is such a time saver when it comes to getting cell numbers and direct lines as well. Can't imagine going back to work without it.
