[We use ADP Workforce Now for] whole organization recruitment, time and attendance, payroll, points system, and onboarding.
  • Recruitment module on applications and requistions.
  • Payroll accuracy.
  • Employee information is readily available.
  • It needs to be more user friendly - some items that should be able to work just don't.
  • Recruitment and onboarding need to match up better; duplicate IDs should not be allowed.
  • Should be able to upload multiple documents to multiple employees at one time.
  • Performance reviews need to be more customizable.
  • Performance reviews should be able to "talk" to points system.
  • The whole program should be able to "talk" to all parts - not just some of them to where pulling information isn't so time-consuming.
They do a lot of upgrades to try to fix situations. The upgrades aren't always successful, but I know they are trying. Certain main repeated requests should be addressed by developers sooner than they do. Customer support is good when you get someone on the phone that knows what products you have.

WorkForce Now is being used across our organization. We strongly encourage our employees to utilize self-service via the ADP Mobile app or log into their account via another device. All of our employees use their ADP accounts to complete their annual benefit enrollments and submit time off requests. Our front line mangers utilize WFN for Time & Attendance, Recruitment, Onboarding. Our executive teams utilize WFN to monitor hours worked, including overtime, time off usage, monitor recruitment efforts, turnover, etc.
  • WFN has the most seamless integration of any payroll system that I have used.
  • WFN T&A is easy to use by our frontline mangers.
  • WFN Onboarding makes the new hire onboarding process so much easier.
  • Setting up Access Profiles for our managers to have access to their direct reports is cumbersome and time consuming.
  • When needing to adjust Time Off Assignments/Balances, for a date in a previous pay period, the need to go to the Payroll Cycle and Unlock the pay period is burdensome and time consuming.
  • The set-up for the annual benefit enrollment is a maze. I really feel like this is an area that could be improved upon. We just completed our second annual enrollment in WFN and I still feel like we do not have a good grip on this.
WFN is well suited for mid - large size companies, including those with high turn-over, who have a regional or corporate level teams who oversee multiple locations, have high compliance demands due to their industry or state of operations.

WFN may be too robust and costly for a small company without significant growth in their future.

We utilize WFN for our entire organization. Employee self-service is easy to use and very crucial to our business as it allows employees to clock in and out and view their pay information. Managers use WFN to make changes to their employees' job-related information. As an administrator, I oversee nearly all aspects of what managers and employees do in the system.
  • Time Keeping
  • Reports
  • Manager Self-Service
  • Having access to all fields to run reports on
  • Reduce the number of errors when accessing the system
  • Better user interface for employees
[ADP Workforce Now] is well suited for timekeeping and payroll. However, it is not the best for integrating with some applicant tracking systems. The onboarding is adequate for WFN but our version has managers enter data manually for new hires. This can lead to a lot of errors, as opposed to an import or feed from another system.

ADP WFN implementation was super easy and pretty quick. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I have gone through an implementation before and this was seamless compared to my last one. IT also has metrics that I would normally track on my own and now it is all automated and accurate which makes my job more simple.
  • Implementation
  • Customer service
  • More step by step guides could be helpful.
It is very good for smaller businesses. I wonder if it would be as simple with a larger population and more complex scenarios.

ADP Workforce Now is currently used to process benefit enrollment, payroll, time off, and time and attendance for certain employees. ADP Workforce Now has made many positive changes in my four years with them. One of the systems I truly love is the ACA compliance platform. It is easy to access and saves a lot of manual work.
  • Benefit Enrollment.
  • ACA Compliance.
  • Standard Reports.
  • I would like to see location and title be tied to employee access.
  • Taxes for worked in and lived in.
  • Automatic changes, such as an address change to push out tax updates. Or a name change could push out a work event.
I believe ADP Workforce Now is a good HRIS system for growing organizations. They have many different functions to help you organize new employees in different locations and different levels. I wish they would send warnings, like if someone has a full-time job title but we marked them as part-time if it warned us that we may have made a mistake.

ADP Workforce Now is being used across our entire organization that consists of multiple sites in multiple states and countries. We use it as our primary HRIS system to track and pay personnel. It is also used as a policy and benefits portal.
  • User friendly.
  • Offers many options to customize access for different groups of users.
  • Ties modules together for recruiting, hiring and payroll.
  • Termination and personnel changes are seamless and convenient now.
  • FMLA tie into the leave module; right now it seems to be labor-intensive and a delayed process.
  • Acceptance of smaller-sized company file feeds for benefits information that is compatible with carriers—some of this is due to the Carrier's rules, not ADP.
Well suited for an organization such as ours that has multiple locations.

  • Payroll payment and tax payments.
  • Onboarding is easy.
  • Terminating is easy.
  • Very slow response times to queries.
  • Navigating the system is difficult.
  • I find it complicated to adjust payroll dates or correct errors.

The entire company is using ADP. Each department manager is responsible for correcting and approving timesheets. Upper managers are responsible for running their own reports with limited personal information and performance dashboard. The accounting department has full access to the GL interface, SmartCompliance. HR uses all the functions. Pros: easy access, the ability to work remotely without any issues, The Bridge community, Service Connect, the reporting and custom reporting, and I just happen to have the best Account Manager. Cons: help desk is a bit busy and it takes a while to get in sometimes and needs better printable "How to" per item (not a whole book) in simple terms for not only users but also for employees. Reporting could be a bit more user-friendly.
  • Online help
  • Customer service
  • The "all-in-one"
  • More customer service/account managers
The online community is very helpful. Sometimes I will get my answer from someone who had the same issue and was able to resolve it.

We are using it for Payroll, Benefits Enrollments, and Time and Attendance. It is being used across the whole organization. Addresses HR and payroll problems.
  • Customer support
  • Payroll
  • Scheduling is lacking versus competitor Paycom.
Best suited for larger companies handling payroll. However, it lacks in scheduling and time, and attendance.

We use ADP WFN for Payroll processing, recruitment & hiring, time and attendance and performance.
  • Timekeeping
  • Payroll processing
  • Time off could be better implemented by giving users the ability to edit better, such as errors, etc.
  • The ability for users to line up changes such as pay classes rather than having to call every time.
  • Employee work flow changes could be smoother.
Some processes could be more user-friendly, and easier to use. Workflows, date changes, some information disappears when you need to change an incorrect hire date. Not having to adjust history every time you want to make a change or having to manually update the date every time you finish input on a person's profile.

ADP WFN is used by all our US employees for benefits/payroll administration.
  • Tenacious support team
  • Clear guides in the Bridge
  • Great organization of platform
  • Long wait times for phone support and limited chat functionality
  • Archived reports are hard to access because it is not common sense
  • Submitting Payroll - too easy to accidentally submit when you're trying to review
ADP is the best solution for processing payroll. That said, there is still room for improvement with support availability, reporting functionality, and payroll processes.

We currently use ADP Workforce Now for recruiting, personnel, payroll processing, and time & attendance. It simplifies the amount of work that we need to do to recruit, onboard, process payroll, and allows for document storage.
  • Onboarding
  • Payroll
  • Leave management
  • Instead of running built in reports, building your own query would be helpful
  • Some reports cannot cross different areas and you have to piece the information together.

We use it across the entire organization to manage a variety of HR administrative processes like time keeping, PTO scheduling, payroll, benefits and performance management cycles.
  • Timekeeping - clocking in/out - seamless
  • Setting up Intro, Mid-Year and Annual Performance Reviews
  • Housing and accessing Pay Statements
  • Notification of tasks to-do
  • The Performance Improvement Plan Form - It lacks the same consistency as the other performance management forms. No printable feature for the finalized PIP Plan, so that it can be provided to the employee for their records. Now we just copy and paste or screen shot it for employees, which looks less polished. Limited space to document without attaching forms in key competency areas. For a PIP documentation is critical and we want managers to write more and not have to edit what they are attempting to convey. Does not have a notification feature to keep managers on track like the other plans. This process becomes manually intensive for me as the administrator and I must be the one to remind managers. Would prefer more automation.
  • Job Titles and Competencies - Need an easier way to swap out. We are currently creating core competencies for the bank and would like to be able to easily swap out and plug in the new competencies. Right now we have to go into each job title, manually remove all of the job competencies and then manually plug in the new competencies. Not hard, but time-consuming
  • Job Descriptions - Would like a place to store job descriptions so that managers and employees can access them as needed. Would also be nice if they had a sign off feature included that allows employees to sign off in the app and stored for HR review.
  • PTO Balances - Not sure if it always shows the most up-to-date balances. Would also like to be able to see as an end user, all the days I have taken so that I can align them with my balances and for record-keeping.
Outside of the things I mentioned in the previous question, I can think of none.

  • Have an Account Manager for each company of different sizes
I would certainly recommend ADP to my HR colleagues.

When I first joined my employer, they were using an outdated version of ADP. About a year into my employment we updated to the current version and I thought it was the best thing we could have done. We use ADP for time & attendance, benefits, and performance management. I have used other HRIS systems and the functionality of the system is great. I have used other systems that don’t compare to ADP.

We recently implemented ADP WFN for our HRIS. Our main reason for selecting ADP was because we needed a full solution to handle both domestic and international payroll, as well as time-off tracking. With ADP's partners such as MiHi and Celergo this was a solid solution.
  • Benefits enrollment
  • Onboarding
  • Domestic payroll
  • Compliance
  • International payroll
  • International timekeeping
Because of our large growth, we have found that ADP has a great product for new hires' onboarding that is customizable and comprehensive. However, we have had challenges with implementing the international aspects of payroll and timekeeping.

  • Taxes
  • New Hire Reporting
  • Communication for trouble tickets and sales questions
ADP is pretty user friendly for payroll, and you don't need to be an accounting person or CPP to process it.

I use it in HR mainly as an ATS. It does get used by the company as a whole for payroll, ATS, and data keeping/logging. The business problems it addresses are helping make simpler a hiring process where we can retain old and new applications all in one place. It also allows us to record performance and make any kind of changes to the status, title, and pay of employees. It really makes the HR position simpler.
  • Approval chains
  • ATS
  • Career sites
  • Employee tracking
  • Freezes sometimes.
  • Can be slow/laggy.
  • Updating the messages more frequently without having to click it to see if you have anything.
It is very good in a larger company but may be inappropriate in a small business where they are not constantly hiring and do not have too many employees. For a company with multiple locations, it makes transferring information for the hiring process easy and effective. I would really only recommend ADP to other larger, multi-location companies.

We have roughly 20 employees that use our ADP Kiosk and we love it. It makes sure that our employees take a full 30 minute break per CA requirements but not allowing them to clock back in early from break. They use a passcode since the biometric processing became difficult and cumbersome.
  • Meal attestation
  • Ease of use
  • Easy to navigate online data
  • Biometric feature needs improvement
  • Restriction of starting work too early
It makes sure that our employees take a full 30 minute break per CA requirements but not allowing them to clock back in early from break. ADP is a great tool for utilizing employee time and attendance. Our employees based on their positions use the timeclocks and website to clock in and clock out. The website is easy to use for employees to access their timecards, pay stubs, and other documents. Managers have an easy time going in to approve time-off requests, check balances, and approve time for payroll.
  • Implementation is smooth.
  • Employees are always willing to help and kind.
  • Dedicated account representative so you know who to call.
  • Lack of two way communication.
  • Tax issues take a long time to resolve.
When it comes to ease of use, functionality, and employee access this is a great resource. Payroll is easy to navigate and the reports are so helpful. When it comes to getting problems corrected I am not sure if there is a staffing issue but there is a rather long delay in getting a solution especially regarding matters pertaining to tax.

It is being used for our payroll as well as with benefits.
  • Provide tax and other filing services
  • [In my experience] contacting customer service can be hit or miss with knowledgeable customer service
[ADP Workforce Now] does really well with doing the payroll, filing taxes, as well as other forms that have to be done. Taking the information that it's given and producing payroll reports. Contacting customer support can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get an employee with lots of knowledge and sometimes you get someone who has no idea what's going on. As a smaller company [that] doesn't require some aspects (such as to go paperless on our checks), I have found that it's impossible to get those types [of] things tailored to our needs (a company that does not want to go paperless). I believe it is designed for employees to log in and see their own information, but that is not something that we want to do.

Frequently, we are using ADP Workforce to track and maintain all our employees' personal and employer details. With the use of ADP, we can save our time effortlessly!! ADP is being used across different states in our organization. ADP provides beneficial hints and successful training if it is necessary to get the details of its service. We LOVE ADP Workforce services! Thank you, ADP for playing a considerable part in our work style!
  • It is providing training for new employees.
  • Manage our time.
  • Trackable details for the employers.
  • Help to set up a organization chart.
  • Keep details by departments.
We have more than 500 employees in the whole organization. If ADP can provide us an organization chart from top to bottom employees. That will help a lot to keep track or find out by department levels.
