I didn't use it, but it was among my options. Undoubtedly because of the costs, and because different tools had to be integrated, I decided to discard it. In addition, from the IT area they have been working with Salesforce for years. Since it was not profitable to integrate the Salesforce marketing module, SharpSpring became my best value for money and integration.

We whittled down the options to HubSpot and Infusionsoft.

Infusionsoft had some features that we had to pay extra for that was included in SharpSpring such as dynamic landing pages, dynamic content in email and RSS syndication, and 3rd party form features including Webex and GoToWebinar.

The cost of onboarding HubSpot, as well as the monthly investment, was much higher than SharpSpring for features that were not as robust. The full-year cost for Infusionsoft was lower but the initial onboarding cost was prohibitive (plus the add ons).

We compared 10 factors and the scoring for SharpSpring came out on top on the top 5 that were most important to us, as well as across all comparisons:

SharpSpring stacks up nicely among the others. I have used separate platforms for either CRM or Marketing and really like the fact that you have all software needs on one platform. The value seems much better than the rest. It keeps our marketing and sales team very organized and that helps with time management

SharpSpring has in some way more features than the top 5 solutions, but it's way easier to use, not to mention the price. SharpSpring is almost a tenth of the price and is a monthly-based payment solution. Every other star destroyer promisess a lot of features but you need to have doctoral degree to use them. Other solution is to always pay providers support/consulting.

The price/quality relationship is really good! It has a lot of features that are charged separately or are more expensive in other platforms and the prices are easier to predict than other ones, where multiple variables can change the price and make it really hard to predict how much you'll be paying over time. There are some issues that should be better resolved, like workflows which can't be done or should be easier to create, platform speed, and some feature requests that are never resolved that could make the platform a lot better.

SharpSpring has a greater value for money. It brings comparable functionality to HubSpot at a better price. It brings more functionality and power than ActiveCampaign. The life of the lead is an important tool for our customers because it brings insight even prior to the opt-in moment. SharpSpring is a great tool to facilitate the complete customer journey.

While I wasn't around when SharpSpring was chosen, I've worked with Salesforce for a number of years as well as various proprietary CRM services at other companies. While not as powerful as Salesforce in terms of capability/reporting/analytics, SharpSpring certainly brings a lot to the table and is easier to work with overall.

As a CRM I preferred Freshsales, as it was fewer clicks and more relevant information easily accessible as well as an integrated phone system (SharpSpring has this but not in Canada for non-marketing companies). But the marketing integration is what drew us to SharpSpring, as Freshsales and their separate marketing platform was very clunky with many disconnects, which was difficult to use.

We're currently in the process of switching over to ActiveCampaign because of the glitches/usability. I like the interface that SharpSpring uses and how it separates the sales and marketing aspects into two different sections. The email workflows are easy to set up but can be problematic when adding additional information to them. For my role in sales, I export a lot of data based on different aspects of either the contact's information or the pipeline. This is where I have found quite a few problems with the program. Exporting data seems to be a downfall of the system based on specific search criteria.

SharpSpring is functional and easy to set up for small teams. There could be better reporting functions and a better vision of the life of a lead. It is easy to learn too, so teams can expedite their marketing function timelines easily.

I also think it would be an excellent tool for B2C companies.

I've used a variety of marketing automation systems but I've used SharpSpring longer than any of the others. Given the price point and feature available I would say that SharpSpring is one of the best automation platforms for small to medium sized teams. I found it much easier to use that eTrigue, very analogous to HubSpot, and lightyears past Mailchimp and Wufoo.

SharpSpring has more powerful features, although Mautic is slightly easier to use. But if you really want to get the most out of inbound marketing and connect both the marketing department and the sales department to it, SharpSpring is a must. That's one of the strongest sides of it compared to other software, the ability to follow through, from lead to closed deal.

SharpSpring is superior in price and marketing capability. Hubspot is more user friendly, though when it comes to CRM ability. However, with SharpSpring's ability to have multiple marketing e-mail campaigns going at once, tracking all of that, and being as affordable as they are, I strongly prefer SharpSpring for our company.

SharpSpring is comparable to Insightly, Pipedrive[,] and Zoho Assist. I'm giving the edge to SharpSpring because it's what I'm using now, it's easy to use and I like the layout, and it's easy to move leads through the sales process as well as set tasks and reminders. I much prefer it to Salesforce, because Salesforce was cumbersome to use, had long load times[,] and error messages that were mostly in [a] language that was unreadable to someone outside of tech support. SharpSpring is fast to update and pages load quickly.
