Currently, our entire BDR team uses ZoomInfo as our primary tool to find out company information (revenue size, location, tools they use) as well as find the current decision-makers that we need to connect with. The feature that I love the most is the mobile phone number. Since COVID many of our potential customers are working from home and their work lines do not ring to their homes.

  • Connects directly to SFDC and saves us time with creating new leads to work.
  • Helps us with our ABM process with finding key players we need to connect with.
  • Importing lists when they do not have the ZoomInfo company ID can result in duplicate accounts being created.
I love how ZoomInfo has the org charts of the company available. It really helps my team understand who the key players are and where the people on their team sit.

With any tool, it is hard to keep it up to date 100% of the time. Right now especially, people are moving to different companies and that takes time to update on the back end.

ZoomInfo is being used by our organization as a lead generator to find new customers based on revenue, size, and intent information provided by ZoomInfo. It helps us find new companies that are searching for the service we provide currently and gives us the opportunity to reach out to the correct people within that organization. We have had great success with the service that ZoomInfo has provided for our Sales team.

ZoomInfo has helped generate new leads and provide contact information for the correct contact within that organization. I really like the intent function so I can try to reach out to companies that are searching for my specific service and I know they might be less likely to ignore my call or email.

We utilize Zoominfo to capture emails and contact information of prospective entities that we want to get in front of and use the export functionality to aggregate the data in a concise and easy to read format. The tool is currently being used by our Sales department and addresses the problem of not having the right contact.

Sales and client partners (growth department) currently utilize ZoomInfo to gather information about current and prospective clients. This is used on both new pursuits and on current clients to keep track of employee financials, executive leadership movements, new initiatives, and more. This saves us time and resources when conducting research.

We use ZoomInfo as part of our demand generation/prospecting efforts. It helps us to identify potential buyers of our services and provides great details on those organizations. It helps to have reliable data and get contact information for prospects. We currently have 10 users and use it to collaborate between sales and marketing for campaigns.

ZoomInfo is a great tool for prospecting new accounts and is also very helpful to assist in finding new contacts at existing accounts. Whether you are in sales, marketing, demand generation or business development, there are functions that can be beneficial to your role. I would recommend giving it a try.

We use [ZoomInfo] across both our marketing and sales teams for a variety of purposes. Marketing uses it to enrich event lists, create advanced searches for ABM initiatives, we also use FormComplete on all of our forms. I'm probably forgetting a use-case or two as well. Our sales team is also using it a lot for finding the right contacts at our target accounts.
  • FormComplete is an incredible tool and has a better match rate compared to other tools I've used in the past.
  • The advanced search is also a powerhouse when it comes to finding companies using specific technologies and more.
  • Being able to upload a list and see that in you advanced search, whether it's a contact or company list is also a huge help.
  • The UI can be weird in places. Making it hard to navigate to specific tools or the resources.
If you've got the budget there's not a better all-around tool out there in my experience. [ZoomInfo] provides sales and marketing teams with just about everything you could hope for if this type of solution.

Our sales and marketing teams use ZoomInfo for contact and project information. It helps provide the proper names, titles and email addresses for targeted marketing and sales campaigns. The org charts also help the sales teams get a better understanding of the corporate structure and the information on the technologies being used is also very helpful.

ZoomInfo is well suited for building target list with contact information for sales and marketing campaigns. I'm not sure why but in the seven years I've reached to the contacts in the scoops alerts, I never received a single response back from several hundreds if not over a thousand attempts reaching one.

[ZoomInfo is] used for Marketing Campaigns contact building. Lacking in APAC company contacts & contacts might not be updated [until] almost 1 year after [they have] left the organization. Multiple records found of the same contacts also - same contact in different companies.

ZoomInfo is being used in the marketing team for enrichment purposes and to improve our form conversion rate using their FormComplete product. On the Sales side, it is helping our ADRs outbound more effectively.

We leverage ZoomInfo for buyer intent and technographic install data for strategic and target accounts to enhance our lead to sales process. ZoomInfo allow us to have a hyper targeted approach and leads to more conversions when we execute customer centric marketing programs within the right buyer personas in the right accounts.

With the merger of ZoomInfo and DiscoverOrg I'm much more likely to recommend the tool. The accuracy score is an important element as the contact information is correct most of the time if this score is 85+. Prior to the merger, I felt ZoomInfo housed lots of old and inaccurate information and happy that this issue has been corrected.

ZoomInfo is a good way to gain access to contacts to further business relationships as well as general networking. It helps us to find our specific target market(s) to increase our business. As a startup, it's hard at times to be in talks with the right people but ZoomInfo helps to alleviate that problem for us.

We currently use ZoomInfo to find key contacts in verticals that play well with our product. Specifically, it is used in Marketing and Sales operations. ZoomInfo helps us find prospects and determine our potential total addressable market.

ZoomInfo is powerful as a sales support tool in identifying key contacts. Where ZoomInfo has low value is on the marketing side. The manual set up of the 'form complete' feature is extremely technical to its detriment. Opt-ins for marketing outreach are vague and unsubstantiated. When paired with intent data, the value is obvious, however, for smaller to mid-size businesses, the cost is usually out of budget when considered against alternative intent tools.

We use it on a regular basis within my team to further research customers and prospects alike in order to refine our approach. It helps us ensure relevancy when talking with new prospects about our capabilities, solutions, and ultimately how we can better serve their needs. It's also incredibly valuable in locating viable contacts for marketing and brand awareness campaigns. It's utilized on a regular basis by sales, business development, and marketing.

We renew it each year because of the value we see coming out of it. We also found that it is a critical piece in our recruiting efforts as new account managers are seeking positions that can best help their hunting efforts. More and more I find candidates who recognize and nod their heads in approval of our use of and access to ZoomInfo, which I feel has helped secure key hires who otherwise would have questioned how best we could support their onboarding efforts.

ZoomInfo is a strategic sales and marketing prospecting tool that we use to identify target accounts and contacts, verify demographics, stay on top of news and industry changes, and maintain CRM hygiene.

  • No ability to set an account admin with zero credit allotment. We need an admin that doesn't require a paid seat as they do not perform many of the required functions, simply maintain the system setup and integrations.
Great for larger companies looking for deep industry insights and prospecting capabilities. Their high prices make it much more difficult for smaller companies to access this data and unlock its potential. A change in pricing tiers/finding ways to pass on savings to customers would be beneficial.

ZoomInfo is being used by our Outbound sales teams to prospect potential clients. It allows users to prospect clients more efficiently as it provides accurate contact data of the potential lead, integrates with Salesforce so we can export leads directly into our system, and is easy to use for our sales representatives. From an administrator perspective, it's easy to setup new users, remove users, and check who is utilizing the tool. I like the reports that are provided out of the box on our users.

Determine contacts for our target customers for new business. Run larger downloads to create prospect account lists for SDRs and AEs. Run downloads to determine how to segment our accounts into SMB and ENT based on ZoomInfo fields like number of employees, industry, office locations.

  • Trust in accuracy of information - there is some misalignment between number of locations and where those locations are.
Use ZoomInfo to find contacts in prospect accounts. Use as a data source to understand the attributes of your prospect customers. Use as a data source to develop prospect lists.

We currently have a few different departments that use ZoomInfo (some more heavily than others). We use it for data enrichment and lead gen.

ZoomInfo is currently being used by our Sales and Press Release teams. They use it to find new leads to market our products and services to. Our reps run searches to look for leads who could be in our potential target market and then export them to salesforce and outrech to do communications.

  • We didn't find the intent feature to be useful - it's a cool concept but it didn't lead us anywhere.
It's great for starting a new relationship with a company, but it's not the best for finding accurate information on a company you are already working with. It provides just enough depth to get a conversation started.
