It also makes it easy for lots of users to connect from virtually any platform. In language teaching and learning, authentic face-to-face language interaction is crucial, and this software has allowed for an almost one-to-one approximation of face-to-face language teaching.,So far, there's very very little that Zoom could improve. Scheduling can be a little bit tricky, as Zoom doesn't always integrate flawlessly with Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.,10,Zoom has allowed us to seamlessly teach online language classes that are very similar to face-to-face language classes. Zoom has also made meetings, defenses, etc. much easier, since it's often difficult to get all professors in one place. Zoom is absolutely our go-to solution for remote communication, whether a brief informal meeting, or an online classroom setting.,We haven't tried Zoom Rooms yet, although it looks like an interesting and useful functionality. We just haven't yet had a need for it.,Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and SkypeZoom is a great option for all levels of internal and external meetingsWe use Zoom as a method for personal meetings between individuals employees, team meetings, as well as company meetings. Each coach in our company has a room, and we use this for meetings. We also use Rooms for team meetings, as well as company meetings, and they are utilized when a coach hosts a class. These rooms are also used to record various training modules and classes.,Webex Meetings and GoToMeetingBest webconferencing tool I've ever used!I'm a remote employee at an organization where everyone else works on campus, so I use Zoom frequently to meet face-to-face with my colleagues. The free version is great, though it does have some restrictions that we haven't found to be dealbreakers. Others at the school use it as well, but I use it more than almost everyone, I'd expect.,Easy to use: I have the software, but you can join a meeting from a browser as well. Virtual background: It's super fun to play with green screen backgrounds. No fancy software is needed, and it actually works better than most green screen software I've tried! The video quality is top-notch!,I honestly can't think of anything that Zoom could do to improve. All of the limitations with the free version go away with the paid version, which is totally fair. I am very impressed with the product, and haven't used a better web conferencing tool.,10,I'm the first full-time employee to work 100% remote, and with Zoom I can still see my colleagues for meetings. The existence of Zoom was certainly a factor in them approving my switch to working remotely.,I exclusively use Zoom Rooms. I'm not sure I leverage any significant capabilities of it, but all of my meetings are "in my personal room." The basic web-conferencing functionalities are sufficient for me, but the quality is unmatched!,Jabber and GoToMeetingZoom has set-ups going smoothlyMy company uses Zoom for meeting with clients in our conference rooms and when we use screen sharing from our various desks. I mainly use Zoom when we have meetings for ad buying and ad placement agencies. We can easily screen share and go through Decks with clients and their partners. Everyone can easily join.,Ease of use for first-time users. It works across multiple devices so we don't have to just use our macs. Recording meetings is very easy.,Large group meetings can get chaotic and the muting options don't allow for a lot of customization. The user interface is not particularly smooth.,8,Zoom is great for any organization looking to make communications more personal. It integrates well with a number of vendors such as Slack. It is also perfect for companies doing demos or support. Meetings happen quicker and smoother so we're not wasting time.,We do not use Zoom Rooms currently.,Cisco Webex CallingGreat tool for virtual meetingsWe purchased Zoom because of issues that we ran into when trying to host large video conferences with GoToMeeting. Our existing GoToMeeting would allow more than 8 people to be visible on the screen when video conferencing, which was essential for the type of meetings we were holding. While that is the main reason we purchased it, we have really been using it as another conference line for client calls and the occasional screen share. While it has been adopted by some people, it isn't widely used by everyone because we also have regular conference lines and a GoToMeeting account which people are more comfortable using. I use it exclusively because it is easier to use and allows for multiple people to use it at once, unlike GoToMeeting.,Video conferencing with large groups of people. Multiple conference lines. Screen sharing. Personal meeting rooms.,Ability to share multiple monitors.,9,Cheaper than other solutions. Easier for clients to use.,GoToMeeting and FuzeZoom has given us a considerable decrease in travel costsMy company is a communications company and we serve a publicly-traded association. They've got it covered and do it well. They integrate with all manner of voice systems, including SIP.,10,I don't know that it has a dramatic advantage over competitors in price, but the quality is all around better than alternatives. So in that respect it has had a significant impact - less wasted time, better meetings.,Not typically.,WebEx Meetings, Amazon Chime, appear.in, Google Hangouts, Join.me, GoToMeeting and ReadyTalk,Intercom, CA Agile Central (formerly Rally), CA Flowdock, Trello, appear.in, Calendly, MailChimp, Vimeo Pro, Twitter Ads, Chargify, Google Analytics, Segment, Stripe, Concur Travel and Expense, SuccessFactors Talent SolutionsZOOMing Along With Video ConferencingWe use Zoom as our video conferencing platform internally and with clients. Better multi-monitor support.,10,Zoom, when we use it, makes it easy to see everyone on a call. Zoom creates a great water cooler effect for stand ups. Zoom is a very useful tool for working with remote staff.,Zoom Is A Great Videoconferencing Platform!Zoom is used at multiple levels within the organization. For our main purpose, Zoom is used across the board in Conference Rooms for our main tenant. These "Zoom Rooms" provide a consistent way for meetings to happen remotely as well as wireless presentation sharing (either remotely or from the same people in the room).,Consistent video and audio experience. Reliability of connection. Great wireless presentation experience.,Zoom requires the download of software (or an app on mobile devices); not all remote participants can (or want to) download the necessary software. Sound/video quality can degrade if connection is poor. Requires an iPad; would be great if the same set up could be done with a MIMO monitor or another cheaper solution.,9,The biggest positive impact is the money savings; we do not have to fly out (transportation, hotel, food) remote attendees to have a discussion. The other positive impact is time savings; instead of waiting days for someone's schedule to clear up enough for them to fly in, we can set up a time with someone at their earliest convenience. Another positive impact is that Zoom is mostly reliable so colleagues and clients have a consistently positive experience with the platform.,Zoom Rooms are great! The consistency and reliability of the rooms remain at the highest level. The consistent and reliability of the spaces is what makes the experience great. Although the set up requires some expensive components, once the rooms are set up, everything pretty much is self-sufficient. The functionality of the equipment and of the spaces could not be any better!,BlueJeans, Google Hangouts, WebEx Event Center and GoToMeetingThe best video conferencing app I have seenZoom is used by our Sales, CS, and Executive teams to communicate with clients, vendor partners, and potential customers. We regularly need to do video conferencing where we can see faces, do screen shares, and record calls in a way that makes it easy to share the recording with others later.,I appreciate that you have many options for what is being shared and how the viewer experiences it when you do a screen share. The video recording quality is good, and allows us to essentially make a training or demo video in the process of doing a call. The scheduling Chrome extension makes it easy to turn a calendar event into a Zoom meeting.,On calls, audio quality can be bad, and we have spent time trying to fix it when time is short. It's rare, but it probably happens once a month. Occasionally I will join a Zoom event on my calendar and be added to a "room" where I am the only person. I'll then get an email from other attendees who say they are logged into the meeting and can't see/hear me. There are a lot of pop-ups that seem unnecessary when I just want to join and leave my calls smoothly.,8,Zoom has come out with new features that allow us to dump other programs and put more needed functionality in one place. Zoom allows us to juggle lots of quick meetings throughout the day with easy calendaring and entry into and exit from calls. Zoom screen-sharing is clean enough that we often hold meetings via Zoom with people in the same building rather than needing to gather.,We use Zoom Rooms for all-hands meetings, and to run webinars from static locations like conference rooms. I think there are easier to use programs out there for this functionality (i.e. more intuitive UI), but the fact that we already use Zoom and can have this tool through an existing product we use is great.,Join.me and GoToMeetingConference Call Meetings Better With ZoomZoom is the primary online meeting software that we use. Zoom allows the organization to easily set up meetings where everyone can join with a simple link. The connection is mostly uninhibited, allowing for clear communication. It is easy to record, share screens, and do remote control access, which is very helpful when communicating with customers to debug issues.,Screen share. Audio. Remote control.,Meeting configurations can be different among meeting rooms. The leave meeting button could be more accessible. Computer audio doesn't seem to work.,9,Improved online meetings. Clear audio. It's simple to set up meetings. Less overhead.,Zoom Rooms works as intended. It allows for anyone to easily schedule and start a meeting with not a lot of overhead. After the company set up the Zoom Rooms, conference room meeting setup has become a lot simpler, especially if a remote connection is required. Zoom Rooms gives a very professional feel to it without having to hire out or pay for another service.,Cisco Webex CallingImproved productivity and enhanced user experience for onsite and remote workers with Zoom!We implemented Zoom as a replacement for Webex. We also have plans to replace our existing Skype for Business chat functionality and will be working with Zoom in the near future to pilot the cloud PBX functionality.,Ease of use for the desktop client Zoom rooms could not be easier. Chat features are strong and easy to understand and use,Hmmmm - not many areas honestly. One improvement we've noticed that sometimes the chat features are not available when in a meeting (you can chat as part of the meeting, but not to people outside of the meeting) We have had a few (many less than Webex) disconnections from ongoing meetings. Typically this is explainable due to connectivity issues with the client.,10,Greatly improved communications and collaborations Better customer experience (both with our org as well as with our partners and clients!),Yes we do! We've just implemented our second Zoom Room with many more to come. They are super easy to use and require no user education. The configurations and equipment are robust and can be locked to to prevent accidentally meddling. With the equipment we are using the audio and video quality is exceptional!! We've started using zoom rooms (and Zoom in general) for some of our client on boarding and employee interview processes (which is huge!).Zoom's technology supports collaboration in cross-functional team meetingsZoom is being used to host recurring meetings with global stakeholders in cross-functional teams. Meetings are focused on customer strategy and key initiatives for our business. The video and phone capabilities eliminate the struggles of a standard conference call.,Sharing one screen in presentation mode, while allowing you to reference other documents without being visible in the meeting One-click sign-in capabilities make joining meetings easy while travelling Recurring meetings are easy to schedule with Zoom membership plans,Zoom requires downloading the Zoom software, which takes a few minutes on the first meeting Plan options are somewhat confusing. I had to review multiple times before figuring out the bare minimum plan required to host a recurring meeting. Expensive when adding on items in addition to basic plan.,9,Improved communication on Zoom calls due to video capabilities Collaborative focus of teams in calls to see one document being presented and update instantly,No.,Webex MeetingsIt Works!Zoom is being used by several departments to facilitate international communication with partners across the globe.,Connect people with various levels of IT service to each other. Web-based information-sharing meetings. Share files and documents for presentation.,Some of the features block out screen space that could otherwise be used for presentation. Certain products, particularly with 3rd party sound/video peripherals, can be difficult to connect.,10,We've been better able to connect with our overseas research partners through Zoom. Planning has been enhanced.,GoToMeeting and SkypeZoom Transformed Our Work!I’ve found Zoom to be transformative in our ability to expand our services and educational offerings. At first, I was unsure how or if it was going to work and now I use Zoom for almost all my meetings. My travel hours have been greatly reduced and my partnerships have increased as a result of the Zoom platform. I would highly recommend!,Connecting partners. Disseminating best practice. Personalizing meetings.,No ability to track individual polling responses.,10,More accessibility. It enables people to connect remotely and not be confined to traveling to a specific location. Option to connect via the web or phone or both.,Better integration with calendar apps More cloud storage Ability to set meeting expirations for records and live meetings.,10,Communication has increased between employees. Everyone has a normal user, and there is a professional user in each area who is in charge of supporting the rest of his teammates as we have offices throughout Mexico. Zoom has helped us remove the distance barrier and have a clearer and more efficient communication between the different cities.,The recording function of the session is amazing. the sound and audio is spectacular. Very simple and intuitive to use.,The front-end: make it more beautiful, more visual. That allows you to dial from 2 or more locations in the same session. Improve audio quality in cloud recordings.,10,Collaboration has definitely improved. We have saved costs since telephone conferences are now videoconferences and this serves as a training platform for a new process or system. It helps us to physically know people who are in other cities and you know who you're trying to create an environment of more confidence.,I didn't have to use Zoom Rooms.,Google HangoutsZoom is a great platform for easily supporting remote employeesWe use Zoom to support our remote real estate agents who are physically located several hours from our office. By using Zoom, we are able to host new employee onboarding meetings, and to provide virtual training on a regular basis for them.,Zoom is very easy to use to set up one-on-one meetings. Zoom works well to provide training classes to multiple participants. The integration with Google Calendar is easy to use and powerful.,I wish the Pro plan had a little more than 1GB of cloud data without having to do the $40/mo add-on for more storage.,10,We have saved money by not having to make as many physical trips to meet with remote employees. We have been able to host additional virtual classes that we weren't previously able to.,No I haven't used Zoom Rooms.,Google HangoutsOne of the best in the markets - KEEP UP!Zoom is being used across the whole company spanning multiple countries. It's lag-free and very easy to set up.,Set up is extremely easy. The integration is great with other tools, such as calendly. It's lag-free in most countries.,Setting Zoom up for other users is difficult.,10,It's not cost related, but we have seen a great improvement in cross-border communications.,I'm not too familiar with Zoom Rooms, and I guess one of the key points for improvement would be regular check-ups and specific training/introduction for new users.Zoom LoverZoom is being used by several people in several departments across our organization. It helps us communicate with our own folks in other locations in the country, as well as with consultants and advisors overseas. It is especially useful for us because we often have bandwidth problems, but Zoom adapts to that, so we never lose connectivity.,Scheduling and joining meetings is easy; sharing meeting IDs is easy. Connectivity is great! We have rarely lost a call due to poor bandwidth. Collaboration during meetings is a breeze (sharing screens, chatting, etc.).,When in a meeting, it is sometimes confusing to go from control panel to the meeting screen.,10,We have achieved both cost savings and improved collaboration. I am able to have efficient and effective video conferences without having to invest in expensive equipment. I can invite anyone to join, without requiring them to have expensive equipment or a paid license of their own.Zoom reviewWe use Zoom as a communication tool in European Research Projects of 8 to 10 partners, totaling up to 30 people. Zoom allows us to hold our plenary meetings on a Monthly or bi-Monthly basis. Currently, only the Center for Research in Computing is using Zoom in their projects. Occasionally we use Zoom for other training or administrative sessions.,Interactive online sessions with screen-sharing. Good audio quality. Good recording quality. Cloud service recordings. We're also able to use it for meetings with business partners and for hiring and training.,It's easy to connect! We have team members joining meetings via desktop computer, smartphone video, or just calling in, and they have all raved about how easy it easy to connect. It's so quick and painless to schedule a meeting! It takes me less than a minute, and I love all of the options available with a simple click as I'm setting it up. The visual presentation with several uses on-screen at once is perfect. It's easy to see and keep track of all meeting attendees.,I've been using Zoom for several months and don't have a single idea for improvement at this point.,10,Zoom allows us to conduct training that we used to do in person, saving us the cost of travel. Zoom allows us to better connect and roll out initiatives to a team of employees around the country. Zoom allows us to build better rapport with business partners around the country that we may not be able to see in person for months.,No,Webex MeetingsIn the world of ZoomIt is basically used by the entire company. I'm using this software in a graduate-level online course called Academic English for International Graduate Students. In language teaching and learning, authentic face-to-face language interaction is crucial, and this software has allowed for an almost one-to-one approximation of face-to-face language teaching. We've also used this regularly for bringing in offsite users for meetings, and it's always worked great. Frankly, again, there's very little that Zoom hasn't worked well for.
We haven't tried Zoom Rooms yet, although it looks like an interesting and useful functionality. We just haven't yet had a need for it.

Zoom (basic) is free, so there's nothing to lose giving it a shot! Our school has a few paid accounts, but most of us just use the free version. It really does work great for every scenario I've tried -- video conferencing and screensharing, large group calls, you name it! I highly recommend Zoom!

Zoom is great for any type of meeting you might have, including video conferencing, screen sharing, or just a conference line. I like how regardless if you enter a participant ID, you can see who is called into the conference. It has great features that make hosting the meetings easy. There is also no limit on the number of meetings that you can hold at the same time. This has helped my company avoid double-booking conference lines.

I recommend Zoom for conferences and meetings with either few or many participants. It is a very interactive tool. It enables screen sharing and chat messages. Its major differential is the quality of audio and video processing. It also allows phone calls only. Other similar programs fail to deliver such good quality. We used it for over 2 years and a few times the connection has dropped. Not as necessary if meeting participants do not have a camera, nor will they share documents that require visual interaction.
We have never used it.

It works particularly well for any calls with fewer than 20 people. I have used it on that scale and rarely run into problems of any kind. It might have issues above that number, but I can't say.

It's not good in loud places without a headset, so auto-mute of background noise or filtering of background audio would be helpful. These loud environments lead to noise on the call, and not everyone on calls knows how to Mute. Making muting easier and more easily identified would be a big plus.

Zoom is used at multiple levels within the organization. For our main purpose, Zoom is used across the board in Conference Rooms for our main tenant. These "Zoom Rooms" provide a consistent way for meetings to happen remotely as well as wireless presentation sharing (either remotely or from the same people in the room).
  • Consistent video and audio experience.
  • Reliability of connection.
  • Great wireless presentation experience.
  • Zoom requires the download of software (or an app on mobile devices); not all remote participants can (or want to) download the necessary software.
  • Sound/video quality can degrade if connection is poor.
  • Requires an iPad; would be great if the same set up could be done with a MIMO monitor or another cheaper solution.
Zoom is well suited for meetings that have multiple participants from around the world. Zoom provides multiple points of entry, including from a mobile or desktop device, or just dialing in from a phone line.

Zoom may not be as appropriate for trainings or demonstrations that need to happen in person so participants can have hands-on experience.
Zoom Rooms are great! The consistency and reliability of the rooms remain at the highest level. The consistent and reliability of the spaces is what makes the experience great.

Although the set up requires some expensive components, once the rooms are set up, everything pretty much is self-sufficient. The functionality of the equipment and of the spaces could not be any better!

Zoom is used by our Sales, CS, and Executive teams to communicate with clients, vendor partners, and potential customers. We regularly need to do video conferencing where we can see faces, do screen shares, and record calls in a way that makes it easy to share the recording with others later.
  • I appreciate that you have many options for what is being shared and how the viewer experiences it when you do a screen share.
  • The video recording quality is good, and allows us to essentially make a training or demo video in the process of doing a call.
  • The scheduling Chrome extension makes it easy to turn a calendar event into a Zoom meeting.
  • On calls, audio quality can be bad, and we have spent time trying to fix it when time is short. It's rare, but it probably happens once a month.
  • Occasionally I will join a Zoom event on my calendar and be added to a "room" where I am the only person. I'll then get an email from other attendees who say they are logged into the meeting and can't see/hear me.
  • There are a lot of pop-ups that seem unnecessary when I just want to join and leave my calls smoothly.
Zoom works well for demos, trainings, and any situation where audio and video sharing are equally important. However, I have seen it struggle at volume. With 20+ people on a call, the icons indicating whether a person has audio/video enabled are sometimes incorrect. The app says the person's computer audio is muted, but I can clearly hear them. In sum, It is best with intimate groups who are collaborating and every attendee is a participant.
We use Zoom Rooms for all-hands meetings, and to run webinars from static locations like conference rooms. I think there are easier to use programs out there for this functionality (i.e. more intuitive UI), but the fact that we already use Zoom and can have this tool through an existing product we use is great.

Zoom is the primary online meeting software that we use. Zoom allows the organization to easily set up meetings where everyone can join with a simple link. The connection is mostly uninhibited, allowing for clear communication. It is easy to record, share screens, and do remote control access, which is very helpful when communicating with customers to debug issues.
  • Screen share.
  • Audio.
  • Remote control.
  • Meeting configurations can be different among meeting rooms.
  • The leave meeting button could be more accessible.
  • Computer audio doesn't seem to work.
Zoom is great for hosting meetings because it allows for easy room setup and joining, as well as clear audio and the ability to share and record. It is also very good for being able to remotely access other computers through a simple portal through Zoom. This is very helpful for our business, as it allows us to debug issues that the customer is facing.
Zoom Rooms works as intended. It allows for anyone to easily schedule and start a meeting with not a lot of overhead. After the company set up the Zoom Rooms, conference room meeting setup has become a lot simpler, especially if a remote connection is required. Zoom Rooms gives a very professional feel to it without having to hire out or pay for another service.

We implemented Zoom as a replacement for Webex. We also have plans to replace our existing Skype for Business chat functionality and will be working with Zoom in the near future to pilot the cloud PBX functionality.
  • Ease of use for the desktop client
  • Zoom rooms could not be easier.
  • Chat features are strong and easy to understand and use
  • Hmmmm - not many areas honestly. One improvement we've noticed that sometimes the chat features are not available when in a meeting (you can chat as part of the meeting, but not to people outside of the meeting)
  • We have had a few (many less than Webex) disconnections from ongoing meetings. Typically this is explainable due to connectivity issues with the client.
  • Zoom rooms (super easy - require little to no user training)
  • Zoom chat. quickly allowing people a single app to manage conf calls along with chat, screen sharing and it even comes with fun gifs :)
  • Zoom client - easy to join meetings, schedule adhoc video calls from any device anywhere
  • Mobile client is easy to use and provides a consistent user experience (which is the most important...)
  • the zoom product is robust and doesn't change the user interface on a weekly bases which keeps our users happy!
Yes we do! We've just implemented our second Zoom Room with many more to come. They are super easy to use and require no user education. The configurations and equipment are robust and can be locked to to prevent accidentally meddling. With the equipment we are using the audio and video quality is exceptional!! We've started using zoom rooms (and Zoom in general) for some of our client on boarding and employee interview processes (which is huge!).

Zoom is being used to host recurring meetings with global stakeholders in cross-functional teams. Meetings are focused on customer strategy and key initiatives for our business. The video and phone capabilities eliminate the struggles of a standard conference call.
  • Sharing one screen in presentation mode, while allowing you to reference other documents without being visible in the meeting
  • One-click sign-in capabilities make joining meetings easy while travelling
  • Recurring meetings are easy to schedule with Zoom membership plans
  • Zoom requires downloading the Zoom software, which takes a few minutes on the first meeting
  • Plan options are somewhat confusing. I had to review multiple times before figuring out the bare minimum plan required to host a recurring meeting.
  • Expensive when adding on items in addition to basic plan.
Well suited to host group meetings where you can present one screen and reference other documents on your laptop without everyone in the meeting seeing your full desktop. Customization options make some plan options complicated and can be overwhelming.

Zoom is being used by several departments to facilitate international communication with partners across the globe.
  • Connect people with various levels of IT service to each other.
  • Web-based information-sharing meetings.
  • Share files and documents for presentation.
  • Some of the features block out screen space that could otherwise be used for presentation.
  • Certain products, particularly with 3rd party sound/video peripherals, can be difficult to connect.
This is a great tool for connecting groups and individuals across the globe. Sharing presentations and documents on screen is done particularly well. Meetings can be saved for review by persons unable to attend the live meetings.

I’ve found Zoom to be transformative in our ability to expand our services and educational offerings. At first, I was unsure how or if it was going to work and now I use Zoom for almost all my meetings. My travel hours have been greatly reduced and my partnerships have increased as a result of the Zoom platform. I would highly recommend!
  • Connecting partners.
  • Disseminating best practice.
  • Personalizing meetings.
  • No ability to track individual polling responses.
I frequently use Zoom for team meetings allowing me to expand my team to include the very best people and not just the people who are geographically close to me.

We use Zoom as a tool to communicate with our employees remotely, conduct training, and host Q&A sessions they may have. It enables people to connect remotely and not be confined to traveling to a specific location. The flexible to conduct business has been the key reason why we enjoy using it and the feedback has been very positive.
  • Flexibility to be used on any platform...Mac, PC, phone, or tablet.
  • Ease of use and practically no software required.
  • Option to connect via the web or phone or both.
  • Better integration with calendar apps
  • More cloud storage
  • Ability to set meeting expirations for records and live meetings.
Zoom is great when you have people at multiple buildings or in different locations. Also, the ability to share publicly is limited in Zoom.

If everything you do is in one building, then it has limited application. Create a general public forum of content on Zoom with regards to meetings and training.
Unfortunately, we have not used the Zoom Rooms feature.

Zoom is currently used by the entire organization. Everyone has a normal user, and there is a professional user in each area who is in charge of supporting the rest of his teammates as we have offices throughout Mexico. Zoom has helped us remove the distance barrier and have a clearer and more efficient communication between the different cities.
  • The recording function of the session is amazing.
  • the sound and audio is spectacular.
  • Very simple and intuitive to use.
  • The front-end: make it more beautiful, more visual.
  • That allows you to dial from 2 or more locations in the same session.
  • Improve audio quality in cloud recordings.
It is suitable in:
  • Work sessions with people in different cities.
  • This session can be recorded on your laptop directly or if you do not have space you can do it in the cloud.
  • You can enter the session from a computer, tablet, mobile phone, or even from a telephone.

I can't think of scenarios where Zoom isn't appropriate.
I didn't have to use Zoom Rooms.

We use Zoom to support our remote real estate agents who are physically located several hours from our office. By using Zoom, we are able to host new employee onboarding meetings, and to provide virtual training on a regular basis for them.
  • Zoom is very easy to use to set up one-on-one meetings.
  • Zoom works well to provide training classes to multiple participants.
  • The integration with Google Calendar is easy to use and powerful.
  • I wish the Pro plan had a little more than 1GB of cloud data without having to do the $40/mo add-on for more storage.
Zoom is perfect for one-on-one video meetings, and works well for classes hosted virtually. When a real-estate agent joins our brokerage I can host an onboarding meeting to get them introduced and acquainted with our company and our technology. I have also used it from my computer, where I hosted a virtual training where we had more people than our training room could accommodate. I was able to teach a class with 60 people physically in attendance and another 20 or so virtually attending.
No I haven't used Zoom Rooms.

Zoom is being used across the whole company spanning multiple countries. It's lag-free and very easy to set up.
  • Set up is extremely easy.
  • The integration is great with other tools, such as calendly.
  • It's lag-free in most countries.
  • Setting Zoom up for other users is difficult.
Zoom serves as a professional tool for both internal and external users, where we can maintain the brand in a very positive way. Colleagues who have used or are new to Zoom are also finding it very easy to set up. Though we are not using the enterprise plan, we think that we will continue to use the service once the demand reaches that level.
I'm not too familiar with Zoom Rooms, and I guess one of the key points for improvement would be regular check-ups and specific training/introduction for new users.

Zoom is being used by several people in several departments across our organization. It helps us communicate with our own folks in other locations in the country, as well as with consultants and advisors overseas. It is especially useful for us because we often have bandwidth problems, but Zoom adapts to that, so we never lose connectivity.
  • Scheduling and joining meetings is easy; sharing meeting IDs is easy.
  • Connectivity is great! We have rarely lost a call due to poor bandwidth.
  • Collaboration during meetings is a breeze (sharing screens, chatting, etc.).
  • When in a meeting, it is sometimes confusing to go from control panel to the meeting screen.
Zoom works exceptionally well for video conferences. I've been on 1 on 1 conferences, and others with 20+ users, and it has worked well in all scenarios.

We use Zoom as a communication tool in European Research Projects of 8 to 10 partners, totaling up to 30 people. Zoom allows us to hold our plenary meetings on a Monthly or bi-Monthly basis. Currently, only the Center for Research in Computing is using Zoom in their projects. Occasionally we use Zoom for other training or administrative sessions.
  • Interactive online sessions with screen-sharing.
  • Good audio quality.
  • Good recording quality.
  • Cloud service recordings.
  • Intuitive desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Improvements in the mobile interface.
  • Improvement in audio quality when video is turned on.
  • Options for coupling meeting notifications with calendars (google, icloud, etc.).
If your link quality is sub-par, you will probably not benefit from the use of Zoom, since you will not be able to hear/see what is being spoken/presented in the session. Also, mobile connections, especially at high speed (train, bus, car on a motorway) are not recommended -- the session tends to break down.
No, we don't use Zoom Rooms, so I can't say anything about this feature.

With 40 stores and a team of employees around the country, Zoom has been an amazing tool in keeping our internal team here connected with constant face to face meetings. We're also able to use it for meetings with business partners and for hiring and training.
  • It's easy to connect! We have team members joining meetings via desktop computer, smartphone video, or just calling in, and they have all raved about how easy it easy to connect.
  • It's so quick and painless to schedule a meeting! It takes me less than a minute, and I love all of the options available with a simple click as I'm setting it up.
  • The visual presentation with several uses on-screen at once is perfect. It's easy to see and keep track of all meeting attendees.
  • I've been using Zoom for several months and don't have a single idea for improvement at this point.
Zoom is great for meetings with large groups. It's easy to see and keep track of attendees, to handle the controls as needed, and to share your screen. We have used Zoom for several months to host our big monthly department meeting that requires participation from many users, and the platform offers such a clean and clear visual for meeting with 50 people at once.

  • Screen Share
  • Integration with Google Apps

  • Record meeting
  • Connectivity
  • Audio and some preferences
A lot of my past colleague and mentors have used Blue Jeans, Cisco, and GoToMeeting but Zoom is the easiest one that I always share with them. Very easy UI.

  • Integration with other systems
  • We occasionally run into issues scheduling meetings.
  • The new look is causing us some headaches getting used to it.
Zoom is well suited for meeting and screen sharing with small and large groups. It is less appropriate when trying to troubleshoot issues on a computer.

We utilize Zoom in our Customer Success department to have clean communication with our clients. We have a high touch success model and Zoom helps us quickly and effectively conduct meetings with our clients. We can share our screen easily and share important information back and forth. It addresses the issue that our book of business is national and global and there are no barriers to us connecting with Zoom.
  • Screen sharing
  • Conference calls
  • Demos
  • Sometimes when you share a screen, the little bubble that shows you the guest list makes it hard to see what's on your screen.
It's affordable and works flawlessly!
