We use Wrike to help organize project requests for various things--designs for digital graphics, flyers, posters, other printable, news releases, social media management, etc. We have codes for folks who enter in a request based on their department and then when the request comes through, it goes to the person within our office assigned to that department. It helps us all stay on top of projects and follow each project through the entire process from start to finish.
  • Organization
  • Delegation
  • Monitoring work progress
  • Communication
  • Organization can always be improved in any product where there are many users and projects
I think Wrike is a great tool in an office setting where there are numerous people involved in a project--someone doing intake/cost assessment for the requester, someone who develops the content, someone who designs the content and then the final step of assigning the content to be posted or printed. I think if only one person was handling all of it, it would be less useful, but still good for tracking projects and what is completed or not completed.

Snap uses Wrike for various purposes such as general project management, specifically in the marketing sector. It assists in tracking tasks and confirming approvals from various parties.
  • It is good to create a visualization for management to understand the progress of tasks.
  • It is simple for project managers to assign tasks to team members and external parties.
  • Can create customized project templates for usage amongst all.
  • Note taking.
  • Lack of organization options.
It is okay with simple project management for tasks and smaller projects. It is challenging to take notes and exchange comments between team members.

Wrike is now our source of truth for all project tasks and processes. We also use Workato to handle business automations that encompass our entire sales cycle. Our switch to Wrike was based on the need to help consolidate multiple tools (JIRA, done-done, Zapier, etc). All employees use Wrike for time tracking and our finance team also uses it for invoice tracking and management.
  • Wrike allows for task automations at all levels
  • Time tracking is super flexible and allows for team members to enter time in multiple places
  • Task and project organization is great. Everything can be nested at multiple levels to allow for complete customization of organization.
  • AI implementation felt rushed
  • Sometimes custom view creation and use can be confusing to know who can see what
  • Request forms are somewhat limited
Wrike is pretty well suited across our entire organization and team structure. There has yet to be a business use case where we havent been able to implement it within Wrike. From our software team using it for sprint planning to our designers using it for external client review, Wrike has been able to support us.

We use Wrike as our main project management tool across 7 different teams within our department. Wrike helps us coordinate and collaborate between our teams and makes creating and assigning tasks super simple. We use Wrike for hundreds of clients across SEO, SMM, Social Ads, Onboarding and Websites and it allows us to track/report on progress quickly and easily.
  • Task Management
  • User Management - Roles specific a HUGE plus!
  • Reporting
  • Dashboards
  • Functionality of fields - some fields are not usable until you've placed the project into a folder or make an assignment to a user
  • Granular Reporting - sometimes it's difficult to get reports to accurately show at a granular level while also allowing high level breakdowns
Wrike works extremely well for our purposes! And the support team is always super quick to respond to our concerns and look into how they can improve our situation. Their help area is also pretty complete so it's easy to find a lot of quick information on your own should you ever need to.

In my organization I use wrike to assign jobs and tasks to our other departments to make the vision of events, products, courses, classes, and more come to life. Wrike then helps the other departments stay organized on what needs to happen, when it’s due, the descriptors behind it. And keeps all communication on wrike vs multiple different emails. Wrike helps solve the problems of other departments not knowing the full vision of what you’re wanting. And keeps all departments organized with timelines. We currently do almost 5,000 projects a year, as many departments are requesting help from our marketing, security, events, cleaners, forms, and more.
  • Allowing you to make your own forms
  • Keep tasks and subtasks organized
  • Give links to wrikes submitted for easy finding
  • How you’re able to edit after post submission
  • The main notifications page can get messy and can’t find what I’m looking for
  • Finding a wrike without a link can be challenging
  • The amount of emails o receive for every move made by someone on wrike
Wrike is well suited when multiple departments of the business need to talk to one department. This helps the department stay on top of what needs to happen for others. Our marketing team loves wrike as 20 different departments are submitting needs DAILY. Marketing helps us receive assets that are all on brand to the main company but still their own department uniqueness.

In our organization, we use Wrike as a comprehensive project management tool. It helps us streamline project tasks, facilitate team collaboration, and closely monitor project progress. We primarily use Wrike to manage client website projects, ensuring that tasks are well-defined, teams are aligned, and project progress is on track. The product addresses several critical business problems, including task organization, real-time communication, and efficient project tracking. Our use case with Wrike is extensive and covers the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation to completion, helping us maintain project efficiency and meet client expectations.
  • Task management
  • Discuss on tasks & get followup mails
  • track progress
  • create task using email.
  • ease of navigation
Wrike is ideal for projects that require close collaboration among team members. It provides a centralized platform for discussions, file sharing, and real-time updates, making it suitable for projects that rely on teamwork. If your project involves basic to-do lists without complex dependencies or a need for in-depth collaboration, Wrike might be overkill. Simpler tools may suffice for straightforward task management.

We used Wrike for communication with our website developers (ADK Group) for the upkeep and maintenance of our company website. It was very helpful in ensuring the accountability of our partners that they received our messages and addressed our concerns in a timely fashion. We had trouble communicating with some of the team members at ADK for a while where they either would receive our emails, would lose track of requests we made, or miss deadlines. Wrike was very helpful in keeping our communication in line.
  • Organize Communication
  • Ensure Accountability
  • Send you a message when an update has been made to your project on Wrike
  • Occasional trouble using the app form
  • Only being able to use the app when on mobile
Great for working with third-party companies on multiple projects.
Could be slightly easier to use via mobile. There were times that we had a web emergency and our third-party web developers would only let us communicate via Wrike, and sometimes that would be more challenging if I wasn't sitting at my computer.

I use Wrike to report bugs and IT issues with the data entry platform and online portal that my company uses. A ticket is submitted and then routed to the proper department which notifies the person that is in charge of that specific item so they can address and fix my issue.
  • Records the issue that I am having with software, portal, etc.
  • Automatically directs my request to the person that it needs to go to.
  • You can follow up and communicate through Wrike to resolve problems.
  • Could be a little more user friendly.
  • Allow uploads of screenshots in the request instead of having to go back and add them.
Wrike is a great tool for reporting problems and bugs to the IT Department without having to chase down the right person to report to. The request is automatically routed to the proper department and person for you, so it saves time in doing that. You don't have to send emails or call anyone. You submit the request, the IT person is notified and they get to work resolving your issues.

We use Wrike to plan the years marketing campaigns, manage budgets as well as submit requests for corporate approval on documents and for campaigns to be built in Salesforce. At any given time one Campaign manager can be running 5-20 campaigns so there is a lot to manage.
  • Easy blueprint use and setup of a campaign from a blueprint
  • Ability to reschedule task timelines
  • Form usage
  • Approval process and ease of use, ability to have multiple reviewers and track their review status easier
  • Ability to reschedule tasks not only in Gantt view but in table view as well
  • Better integration of milestones and ability to give them dependencies
We are working now to setup 2024 plans and Wrike has made it very easy to convert a Blueprint to an active project and rename that project allowing for executives to get an overview of what we are planning to run next year.

If it is necessary to translate some campaign or specific marketing pieces, it is possible to track progress and seek for help easily. You can save a lot of time by just see the advance on the project. It also solve the problem with different time zones for meetings.
  • Automation workflows

  • On platform review
  • Changes traking
  • Loading files preview
  • Tags for projects
  • Color folders
This tool is useful for content creation and approvals. You can use it for Social media, content creation, content management and creative teams. If you work with an international team or have different time zones, this tool works to keep projects moving without delay. We used Wrike to manage our proposal workload within our marketing team which was roughly 15 people. We also used Wrike to track onboarding for new hires, project milestones for capturing information and photography, and event planning.
  • Automation of project with subtask generation
  • Reporting at end of the year
  • Collaboration platform for teams
  • Ease of navigation in the holistic platform
  • Sometimes it felt too cumbersome
  • cost - we ended up moving to monday.com as a company
Wrike was great for team workload management being able to log in and quickly see who had capacity and who was overloaded with tasks. The system was obviously only as helpful as our teams made it by inputting their tasks. Would be awesome if it interacted with our CRM that tracked opportunities.

Wrike helps to organize all company projects for internal and external communications, events and various request for communications and marketing teams. All communications between all the teams or people related to that project is done by Wrike, approvals, comments and with this is possible to tack the development of all projects. Also help to organize better the daily job with the different features Wrike has, my favorite one, to put the star to all my projects, with that one I do not miss any task.
  • Organize
  • Track
  • Task Remind
  • Dummies training, no everybody has much time to investigate, should be direct.
  • Too much emails per task, one per project is useful and enough when assigning.
  • Reminders of approvals and pending's can come every 3 days.
When you have experience in project management is easy to use, you will need to learn some tricks when are not use to these kinds of tools.
Its is important to organize you daily job, this tool is nice to do so, also if you need to involve more teams and people to assign different tasks.
Also if you will need to track how long can take to develop a project and ask for answer in a formal way additional a email this is a good tool.

  • Works well between team members
  • Provides visibility between team members
  • Updates in real-time
  • The interface takes a bit of playing around to get comfortable
A team of 3 used it, would review and assign out work on Mondays review during team meetings, and throughout the week check work off. As checklists became lighter, the team lead would be able to assign more work depending on where the workload was.

For me: Wrike is a great platform to create and check a lot of many task required for the department of Marketing and Design of Fan Expo HQ based Canada (Informa). I'm a outsourcing designer of this company, I'm based in Bogotá, Colombia, and We maintain all communication through the platform, some from Dallas, Florida (USA) or Toronto (Canada), while I do it from my office in Bogotá. I have 4 year using this platform and I recommended with my friends and family. I don't have problem with this app...for me is a great experience to connect with a fantastic network. Thanks.
  • The history task
  • Intuitive and Friendly
  • Navigable
I am a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator, and this platform is incredible for keeping track of many projects and not losing sight of them.

I recommend the platform with all of my friend, family and clients for it work, facility and friendly interaction with all user and the tasks. The app have a god connections with Google and I can follow-up in my mail or in the APP in some devices.

I use Wrike both as a personal to-do list and as a way to update my supervisors on the progress of my projects. Wrike allows the team to keep up with each other's projects, make sure that everyone is on track, and see where everyone is within the process of each project. It also allows us to plan our projects for the entire year in January.
  • Helps me keep up with my to-do list
  • Helps the team keep track of where we should be within each project based on the timeline we set up within Wrike
  • Connects tasks and their relevance to each other across projects
  • It's a bit difficult to pull a report of all tasks within a project to view where you are on each. The result is also hard to read.
  • I think the display could be better as you are looking at your tasks. The window that shows the current task you are looking at is too wide and obscures all the other tasks in a list.
  • I think the new layout is a bit confusing because it is now more difficult to find the filter for tasks (i.e., those I've already completed).
I think it is great for companies with teams who work together on projects, or for people who like to keep up with to do lists and schedule tasks.
In my opinion, it wouldn't be great for companies whose team members work individually instead of collaboratively or for people who prefer paper and pen when writing their to-do lists.

Our office uses Wrike to coordinate various marketing projects across several teams. While it has proven to be a valuable platform for our project management needs, it has some usability challenges/it's not very intuitive and it's hard to find projects sometimes. There's also a lag in email updates.
  • Central location for files
  • Approvals don't need a person to have an account
  • Email to-dos are nice
  • The search results aren't always great
  • There's a lag in email updates
  • When you try to add an email's text to a project using the CC URL, it doesn't always work
  • Not very "clean' look on left side
It's good for projects that have to be shared with people who need to see a timeline on results. It's also good for multiple team projects, but single teams could just as easily use something like the Google Suite.

Wrike helps keep our deliverables organized and communication clear. Everyone has visibility, which makes our organization's workflow smooth and transparent. In addition, Wrike has streamlined our strategy and pushed for simpler ways to communicate and make decisions. Between sharing files, confirming progress updates, and following up on questions, Wrike has modernized our ways of working.
  • Organize files
  • Communicate quicker and simpler
  • Share updates to whole teams
  • Notifications disappear after a period of time
  • Dashboard should include all mention history
- Wrike is well suited for a large organization with multiple teams that collaborate
- Wrike allows users apart of many teams to have visibility into overarching projects and see all communication flow
- Wrike is less appropriate for one-off communication and private conversations. Better for larger organizations and overarching communications

My team is just one of many supporting regional and national finance and cost-based decision-making for one of the largest healthcare companies in the United States. Wrike allows our team to seamlessly collaborate with regional counterparts and national business partners within our organization. Wrike has helped us keep track of both recurring projects and ad hoc analyses. We've tried several other robust task management tools, and none have been as user-friendly as Wrike. We use other Microsoft products, so the Teams integration has been especially powerful when adding, assigning, or completing tasks. When onboarding new employees, Wrike is the very first software they use - which we then use to complete the onboarding process and make sure each member of our team has all of the proper tools and access to start their new position - Wrike sets all of our employees up for success.
  • Straightforward and user-friendly
  • Extensive collaboration capabilities
  • Visually pleasing interface
  • Awesome Teams integration
  • Duplicating tasks function can be clunky
  • No note-taking within Wrike
  • Slow email notifications
Wrike has been beneficial for collaboration within our team, with regional business partners, and across our organization. Working on a monthly cost accounting process, the Recurrent Task function is my favorite to make sure I start each month on the right foot and that I can move through each of my processes (subtasks) smoothly, ensuring that we always meet our SLA.

I use Wrike for project management purposes and tracking public relations tasks. By changing the workflow status, my team is able to track where we are with certain tasks. Being able to create our own workflow specifically for public relations is why Wrike works for our industry over other tools, like monday.com.
  • Workflow adjustment
  • Setting deadlines
  • Tagging other team members in tasks
  • Setting up dashboards
  • Organizing folders
  • Adding team members to dashboards
In public relations, our Wrike statuses go from In Exploration, In Development, Awaiting Client or Manager Feedback, Pitching, Lead, Interviews to Monitoring for Result. These workflow statuses are unique to public relations and are extremely helpful for tracking our progress with a pitch or media lead. Our other teams use statuses like Low Priority, Medium Priority, and High Priority, but what I outlined is very helpful in public relations and makes everything clear.
