For example, when an employee in another branch of our institution cannot do his/her work from the computer, we connect to the device of our employee in the other branch from our own computer or mobile device, and the control of the computer is in our hands. That way we can get our work done. Dealing with business problems, solving things that cannot be explained by talking on the phone, by connecting directly. My scope of use is remote connection.
  • quick and easy connection
  • online chat
  • easy operation
  • Sometimes there are delays while connecting.
  • The interface could have been more fluid.
  • In mobile access, the display shape may not be correct sometimes.
It is very useful for us that we can directly connect in our jobs that require a remote connection. Instead of talking on the phone or texting for long periods of time, we can connect directly and get our work done. We are protected from both time and misunderstandings. Since the computer shuts down when we do the operations that we need to turn the computer off and on, reconnecting later spreads our work for a long time. In such cases, it is not suitable for such use.

TeamViewer help people who are working remotely to troubleshoot technical issues while they working from home. We use Microsoft teams to the technical issue such as VPN connections, Microsoft issues, and windows issues including installation of drivers such as networks, audio, graphics/ display, Bluetooth or any connectivity, peripherals, licenses on specific software, installing crucial software and file sharing, etc.
  • tranfering of files remotely
  • Unattend Remote control

  • connecting instant to users
  • More secured connection

It is used for remote management on a PC in the office. It's frequently used by individuals and is easy to understand. So easy to use. And we're using it for the customer to remote manage. But when a failure occurs, we can not prove it. we wants more support programs.
  • Easy to use
  • Lot of users
  • Well known
  • Anxiety about security
  • Easy number exposure
  • Must be installed
We used remote support (Teamviewer) for our customers. But the customer's PC was secured. In particular, I couldn't install it on that PC. There was no way to solve this problem, and in the end, after paying a lot of time and money, I went to solve the problem. No install is a trend, But Teamviewer is old.

I am using TeamViewer for remote access of users' systems. This application is helping me to connect with users remotely & resolve technical issues they are facing with their systems immediately. This is helping me a lot to give immediate resolution to users with minimum downtime of systems.
  • Remote access to system - You can do anything on a remote computer to troubleshoot system issues.
  • Remote log off & Switch user - Remotely you can log off or use the switch user option to log in with another ID on a remote system.
  • Wait for the Partner option you can use to reconnect the system again after you restart the system when you are connected remotely through TeamViewer.
  • If the remote user is not having any Admin rights then also you can use TeamViewer to connect that system by using windows Admin credentials.
  • We are struggling a lot to get access to all the things when the remote user is not having Admin credentials on the system. Sometimes we are facing trouble in connecting to the remote system through Admin login credentials in that situation if the user also does not have Admin rights on the local system then we are facing issues. If this is taken care of by TeamViewer then this one is the best app to work.
TeamViewer is best for remote troubleshooting of computer-related problems.

We did use TeamViewer in remote development work to get remote access to our computers in different locations.
  • Remote desktop quality
  • Ease of use after established connection
  • Licensing
  • Prising
  • Customer care
At first freemium worked well. Anyway, some concerns arrived when the pay version was needed and the yearly plan was the only option. And the disaster came when renewal happened after 6 months of no use. There are no monthly plans available. There is no way to get a refund if the renewal has happened. My honest opinion is that majority of TeamViewer users need it just for some limited period of time and this company wants your money more than your respect.

Teamviewer is very important in our organization so that N3 support can help our field analysts in equipment activation and/or support to investigate any problems that the equipment may present. We used Teamviewer because of its lightness, simplicity and security that stands out from other similar products.
  • secure remote access
  • Instant Message
  • File Transfer
  • Access the microphone of the remote machine
TeamViewer is very suitable for technical support teams that need to help other analysts or even end users within corporations. It can also be used for meetings where you can share content with other users who are participating. Sending files to remote machines. All this safely and reliably with the client always up to date.

Currently, we are utilizing the connections for remote work users that require access to their Apple iMacs as they do not have the required space available in their homes. So far, this has been the best solution for our team members to continue being productive since Covid-19 began. The service is very responsive and transmits a well-displayed image to the end-user.
  • Un-attended Remote Access control
  • Quick support to remote in to an end-users device by running the app without installing any software or requiring administrator rights
  • Push Windows and Third-Party updates (depends on the version that you buy)
  • Works on Windows, Apple, Mobile, and Tablets (depends on the version that you buy)
  • Apple support needs more improvement like being able to transmit the sound.
  • Real time device monitoring in an easy to use interface, similar to LogMeIn (GoTo)
  • Users have a hard time setting up multi-monitor to display on their multi-monitor setup
  • Make screen blanking a little more easier to use so that people in the building cannot see the monitors (again end-user experiece)
We plan to integrate TeamViewer with Microsoft Intune for better support assistance, asset inventory, third-party updates, and pushing Windows Update and versions. We are currently using both LogMeIn and TeamViewer but looking to move fully move over to TeamViewer, but we have both for redundancy in case one of the applications crashes, which it does happen. Especially with Apple devices, LogMeIn seems to have an easier time using un-attended access compared to TeamViewer, as well as being able to hear the audio.

We use TeamViewer mainly for remote support of customers' computers and servers. Much of the work we do is best-done off-hours, while no one is using the computers and servers we need to work on. Being able to do this remotely means the customers can go home after their work day is done, and then we can log in remotely to do the work. It's also quite common for a customer to call in with a problem where we can quickly make a remote connection to their computer and resolve the problem, rather than having to schedule a time to drive to the customer's office to do the work in person.
  • It provides secure remote access to computers and servers.
  • Once it is set up and working, it is generally reliable.
  • It allows us to see an organized list of customers' computers that we have access to.
  • TeamViewer is very difficult to set up initially when trying to set up a permanent remote connection. It requires several steps that have to be done just right, or else it won't work, and doesn't give any indication of why it won't work.
  • TeamViewer is slow to make the initial connection.
  • Compared to other remote support products we use, TeamViewer lacks several features, such as the ability to see detailed information about a given computer without logging into the computer.
TeamViewer is probably best for the person who simply wants to access his office computer from home or on the road. It also works well for the "one-off" support call, where a customer just wants to temporarily give remote access to his computer to a support person. For an IT support company like mine, where I need to have consistent, reliable connections to and control over many customers' computers, there are better, more affordable solutions available.
Compared to other products I've used (ConnectWise Control), TeamViewer is harder to set up and get connected. It is especially difficult to set up "permanent" unattended remote access, where you want to be able to connect to and control a remote computer without having to exchange codes and passwords every time you connect.

When Citrix or a VPN solution is not available, TeamViewer is utilized to access computers remotely. In addition to being able to collaborate and work remotely, it gives users access to a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Macintosh. During the pandemic, it has shown to be a successful tool for linking people across the world to distant systems at smaller remote sites and offices.
  • Remote help settings can be generated.
  • Basic capabilities for interacting with a distant computer.
  • Device management for the entire organization.
  • Facilitating the creation and maintenance of sessions.
  • An improvement in the timeout limit is needed.
  • Improved unattended access is needed.
A VPN or Citrix solution is more expensive than using TeamViewer, but the cost is less than the cost of deploying a VPN. Small remote offices and organizations without on-site IT assistance are ideal candidates for Team Viewer. Citrix or a secure VPN is more suited for bigger offices. TeamViewer is also more secure than a VNC client.

TeamViewer is used by a department in our organization. Our goal here is to enable the relevant department to continue its business by connecting to the system it wants to access, platform / time independent and without any additional approval. TeamViewer can solve remote access problems in a very practical way.
  • Remote Connection
  • Reliability
  • Ease of file transfer
  • Installation is simple and customizable
  • User-friendly interface
  • Multi Platform Support
  • If either side doesn't work in the old version, that's definitely the worst feature.
  • It does not work properly if there is no fast and stable connection on both sides.
TeamViewer provides convenience in many scenarios you can think of, such as supporting remote users and working remotely. Imagine that you can connect to a system with [the] internet from any platform you want without any problems. On top of that, the user interface is equipped with the tools you will need in many areas.

When you have many users, and a problem or error occurs in a personal computer, software, or connected device, a situation that is difficult to transmit by phone, etc. can be entered into the other party's personal computer from here to understand the situation and investigate the cause. Since it has become possible to some extent, the number of visits to users can be reduced, leading to more efficient work.
  • TeamViewer is used as a simpler and more secure way to connect to the other party's PC.
  • With the paid version, you can establish a session by simply sending the URL to the other party, downloading the client software from this URL, and keeping it open.
  • It has reduced the method of access so that it is not complicated for the end user.
  • What I most want you to improve is the pricing system rather than the function. I want you to revive the purchase plan.
  • I feel that the version changes frequently, so I hope you will continue to work on it for a longer period and update it.
  • Certainly, considering the recent security updates, I understand that I want to maintain a new status with a subscription, but I'm concerned that it costs a lot.
Instead of visiting and responding to any problems displayed on the computer, it is possible to understand from a remote location if the work cannot be improved without visiting, thus streamlining the activities of the on-site staff. I feel it is convenient for division of labor, such as checking defects, clarifying how to deal with them, and improving efficiency in dealing with them.

The IT company we use for technology issues works with us through TeamViewer. When the program is initiated, it populates two codes we tell our IT tech. The tech then enters those codes on their end and it allows them to operate a computer as if they were sitting at our desk, even though they are at their office across town. There have only been a few occasions where they needed to come to our office and take a computer back to their shop to work on it. Otherwise, they are able to fix 97% of our issues via TeamViewer.
  • Allows Remote Access to Computers
  • Has never worked improperly
  • Easy to Install and Use
  • Cannot think of anything that needs to be improved. It works wonderfully.
The program allows remote access to your computer so it should only be used by someone you trust. Our IT company gains access to our computers with this program. You cannot work on your computer at the same time as the other party. They control your mouse cursor and use it to perform whatever action is needed. If you move your mouse, it will override their actions.

TeamViewer is used to access systems remotely where Citrix or a VPN solution is not available. It allows users to interact and continue work off-site, and it also allows users to access different platforms such as Windows and Macintosh systems. We have users connecting globally to access systems in smaller remote facilities and offices, it has become an effective tool during the pandemic.
  • Remote Console access
  • keyboard and mouse emulation
  • file transfer
  • Secure
  • like to see it used over an SSL connection
  • better costing models for smaller companies
TeamViewer is most suited for small office footprints where the cost is less expensive than implementing a VPN solution or a Citrix solution. Team Viewer is perfect for small remote offices and offices that have no on-site IT support. In larger offices, a secure VPN or the use of Citrix is more applicable. I also prefer TeamViewer to use a VNC product as it is more secure.

TeamViewer has been extensively used by me personally in our organization because of the covid outbreak and the lack of mobility to visit the offices physically.
It is used extensively to troubleshoot systems that are physically kept in the office and access them in the most secure way. Easy to use and extremely user friendly.
  • Good connectivity in low internet bandwidth
  • Cost effective
  • Secure
  • Timeout limit should be optimised
  • Unattended access should be improved
  • Lag in input should be improved
TeamViewer is used to access the systems on which Our RPA bots are deployed. It is used extensively to troubleshoot any errors that occurs in the robot exection. Provides connectivity to the remote system in a very secure manner without attended access on the other side of the system. ACCESS IS CONTROLLED via passwords only aware to the admin. Logs of access is available in the log data stored in backend.

  • Generate remote assistance environments
  • General remote interaction features
  • Organization wide device management
  • Establishing and maintaining sessions in an easier way

I'm using TeamViewer for many years, but during the lockdowns during the pandemic peak days, we all were mandated to work from home. Now, we are having most of our files on our office PC and then TeamViewer played a vital role, it allowed accessing the office systems via our laptop or mobile remotely.
  • TeamViewer works great in all the environments.
  • It works on Smartphones, Tablets, and Computers as well.
  • It can be also used to transfer files, chatting, video calling, remote printing, etc.
  • TeamViewer is one of the best solution for remote diagnosing.
  • Its premium pricing is subscription based, and is a little bit on the higher side.
  • It doesn't work as expected on slow internet connections, connection breaks so often.
  • Remote wakeup feature doesn't work on many systems.
TeamViewer is well suited in any case where one wants to remotely access a device. It works great in most the use cases. It is one of the must-have software for employees who are working from home. This might be not suitable for you if you want to access a mobile from another mobile.

I use TeamViewer to perform deployment tasks on application servers remotely, I also use it to control my computer remotely and perform code reviews, ticket management, connect through VPN networks, check application logs, do error handling and perform devops and infrastructure tasks.
  • Full control of equipment remotely.
  • Compatibility with different operating systems.
  • Very easy to use.
  • Sometimes is difficult to connect and I got several errors before I can get connected.
  • It should have a version of the UI more adapted to mobile devices.
  • The possibility to control mobile devices.
It is very useful for equipment control and remote monitoring of problems, it cannot be used to control mobile devices, this could be a very useful feature that could be included although it has many security and privacy considerations.

Earlier it was difficult to us to resolve any pc related query over phone. It was time consuming activity, especially for those users who have no technical knowledge. With TeamViewer we able to get remote access of user system, which help us to resolve queries faster. Once user shared screen it is easier to us to resolve their queries more quickly. i.e. Printer installation, Program Installation etc.
  • Remote access
  • screen sharing
  • file transfer
  • License is costlier than other
  • file transfer is quite lengthy process in Teamviewer
  • it gets hanged sometimes due to server issue but this is the rare case.
As per my experience, Teamviewer is well suited for all companies. Even it is well suited for professionals also. It is useful tool which must have in their organization. It is useful only if you have multiple offices. It is not suitable for single small office where all users are at one place.

We used TeamViewer as a remote desktop access to get support users with the different solutions they're using. It was deployed across all departments to speed up issues resolution and more importantly, allow agents to get better reproducible examples of what is not working as well as the environment variables.
  • Straightforward setup for both admins and users.
  • Very proficient file transfer.
  • All-in-one solution if you need more than desktop control.
  • Difficult to justify the price considering all other alternatives.
  • No self-hosted option which ended up being a deal breaker for us.
  • Customer support got worse over the years, difficult to reach out.
TeamViewer is great for traditional support scenarios where an agent needs to double-check information or reproduce the issue from a user perspective. The performance is generally very good with no noticeable lags or freezes. You buy concurrent user licenses so that's definitely a plus on the budget side, compared to named users options.

In my opinion Teamviewer is very useful for managing remote server of the customers instead to establish a vpn client session. It's good for users assistant too. TeamViewer is currently our remote support solution to manage endpoint computers and really helps us with our remote workforce. It allows us to connect and view the user's screen, and makes troubleshooting easy. All that's needed is a network connection, so this is a game-changer for us. We can also use TeamViewer to transfer files.
  • Connect to an end user's computer or mobile device.
  • Allows our IT department to support a remote workforce
  • Makes transferring files from one device to another easier
  • Some connections are periodically dropped
  • Speed of connection
  • UI could be simplified
During COVID, it definitely helped troubleshoot issues with work-from-home users. We could also transfer install .exe of ISO files to deploy software. In some cases, our remote workforce would not have a fast network connection at home. Sometimes TeamViewer would drop the connection, or flat out refuse it.

TeamViewer and Tensor provide remote tools that enable support staff to quickly start sessions, elevate permissions, and fix issues. We use this to regularly connect to faculty and staff in order to ease the issues that come with being separated by physical distance. Clearly stating the purpose of the remote session tends to alleviate any concerns with the person with who you are controlling their computer. Works with many different operating systems on and off the corporate networks.
  • Simplicity
  • Support
  • File transfer
  • Admin experience.
  • Requires installation.
TeamViewer is great at setting up and tracking the inventory of systems with which you control. The blank screen option is nice for when you need to connect to a device after hours and do not want to startle the crew that might be working around the space. Recording every session would be helpful to track inappropriate use of the tool.

1. Providing customer technical support to our clients.
2. Solving backend server problems.
3. Sharing files from one device to another through remote connection.
4. Discussions will be held sometimes before start working on different projects.
5. It would be great If TeamViewer has an option of managing board or simulation to show up technical analysis to our clients.
6. Online sessions of training would be done through this application.
7. User-friendly environment of this application helps our employees a lot.
  • Online Learning Platform
  • Technical Support through remote access
  • Freely Accessible
  • Camera option in a chat box
  • AutoIntellisense is required
  • Lock screen option would be there
I have used this platform in various places like universities, colleges, and my organization. Although I have used this application in various banks to solve the server problems and provide some lectures in meetings. It would be a great experience to have such a type of application. TeamViewer was and is used as a backup form of remote access for our remote users. the reason we have TeamViewer is that we have a lot of users who are not on our Primary network. this allows us to support them wherever they are. It is easy enough for my Engineers to use
  • Remote access
  • File Transfers
  • Ease of install when system is on site
  • Better remote access options
  • Speed
  • End-users need knowledge not easy for them
The software works well enough for a Small shop. Once you grow it becomes too cumbersome to manage. While the software does what it should it does not excel at anything. I think this software is good for a small subset of users less than 50 end users. Keep that in mind

As a systems administrator, I must ensure that all our employees' computers are running the compulsory programs at our company & perform driver installations & firmware updates whenever necessary. That's where TeamViewer comes to play. I'm now able to quickly connect to the user's machine & perform the necessary operations remotely & conveniently. Considering that I no longer need to physically be in front of the user's computer for resolving software issues, I'd say TeamViewer has saved me a ton of time & effort.
  • Remotely connect & control computers & mobile.
  • Ease of wireless data transfer between computers & mobile.
  • Maintains visual clarity & response time even at times when internet speed is a tad slow.
  • Control gestures on mobile (two-finger scroll, tap & hold as right-click, pinch to zoom, etc.) can be improved in terms of input latency.
  • UI simplicity & refinements on the mobile version can better be implemented in the desktop version as well.
  • Hidden Function key & other hotkeys should be more visible on the mobile version of the software.
Often times I'd receive an email from an employee where his/her computer is suddenly showing an error when launching a program after a new update; be it an OS update or from the software itself. TeamViewer has enabled me to wirelessly connect & interact with the employee's machine to diagnose & resolve the issue either using my office computer or from my mobile when I'm outside. For IT work & remote computer management, TeamViewer is simply a must-have tool in my arsenal of programs.
