Hubspot overall is able to compete with Salesforce in terms of core functionality, the reason we went forward with Hubspot was due to cost and the detail of CRM that we required at the time.

InterAction was very slow with product updates, didn't have a built-in marketing system, and the interface was really aged.

Insightly looked great and our team was deciding between it and hubspot. In the end, we went with hubspot because we were told that it could do something (pre-fill form landing pages based on a single url query parameter) that Insightly couldn't. That didn't strictly turn out to be true. Insightly was even easier to use than HubSpot right off the bat, and I'm sure we would have been just as satisfied with it had we chosen that CRM instead.

It does not even compare. There was limited marketing collaboration with oracle and we mainly used it for sales pipeline, inventory management, order tracking, etc. the time it took to get from opportunities to leads was extremely frustrating. I like how hubspot makes it extremely easy to navigate from contact pages, deal pages, etc.

HubSpot is significantly easier than Marketo to work in day to day. Workflows are easier to create and manage, the email tool is intuitive for non-technical people and segmentation is far easier to use. When it comes to effectively and efficiently using our time to create marketing programs Hubspot wins hands down - it's just less "wrestling" to get it to work well. The onboarding and training is second to none.

HubSpot CRM consistently outperforms Salesforce in my experience. While both platforms offer robust features, HubSpot excels in terms of user-friendliness and intuitiveness. It simplifies complex tasks with its automation capabilities and provides an easy-to-navigate interface, which significantly reduces the learning curve typically associated with CRM software.

One crucial factor that led us to choose HubSpot over Salesforce was its seamless integration capabilities. HubSpot facilitates the incorporation of various other tools and systems effortlessly, minimizing the need to manage multiple platforms simultaneously.

Additionally, HubSpot provides comprehensive support, from their wealth of resources to their responsive support team, assisting users in understanding and maximizing the software's full potential.

Though Salesforce is a powerful tool with its unique strengths, the overall experience with HubSpot CRM's simplicity, integration features, and exceptional support, made it the more appealing choice for our business needs, especially given HubSpot's speed of development. I'd actually argue that in most use cases HubSpot is MORE powerful than Salesforce, even at Enterprise scale. It also doesn't take 9 months to ramp.

Before HubSpot CRM I used Goldmine, which felt very early 2000's in its structure. HubSpot CRM is a very modern tool that allows for setting up simple tasks in the most aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand way.

We use HubSpot CRM for certain products/services that we sell. The reason we use it is that it's extremely easy to use and we already use it for all of our marketing needs. It made the most sense. The one thing Salesloft has that Hubspot CRM doesn't have is international calling.

I would say HubSpot comes in the middle, with Zoho being the least preferred and Salesforce being the best. HubSpot comes marginally close to Salesforce, but loses to the much more seamless UI of Salesforce.
