I use Khoros Marketing to schedule planned social media content and track performance results. Khoros Marketing is effective for my brand's scheduling process because I'm able to schedule on multiple channels simultaneously, create shortened links within the platform, and successfully set each post live without manual posting. We use this tool on a weekly basis (11+ posts per week). Something I'd like for Khoros to add is shoppable product tagging during the scheduling process, though.

While the analytics tool is something we use, as well, I don't use it as often. It's very helpful to have performance results available within Khoros Marketing, but it's a bit difficult to use this tool properly. I've noticed that our Khoros analytics hub has not been pulling in accurate information, and I wish that more measurement opportunities were available in the platform (specific follower count growth, individual post breakdowns, etc.). Setup is confusing and performance hubs are limited. However, the Khoros Support team is very helpful and I know I can speak with someone to help me.
  • Easy Scheduling
  • Providing helpful resource information on Atlas
  • The integration of multiple organizations under one account / easy access
  • The analytics tool could be improved to provide more accurate / easily accessible performance updates
  • Shoppable product tagging within the scheduling tool
  • Account integration. My organization has multiple brands under one account and we consistently have to re-connect each social account in the platform. We do not share these social accounts, so it's stressful to coordinate and communicate when these integrations are needed to each individual person.
While Khoros is a great platform for social content scheduling, there's definitely room for improvement within the platform. Scheduling within the platform has remained successful for my company due to the multiple-channel scheduling feature, shortened link tool and automatic posting, but this is primarily what we use Khoros Marketing for.

The analytics tool is difficult to understand, and there are functionalities that I wish were present. I think the performance measurements provided within the analytics tool could be adjusted to better suite the needs of a social media program (specific follower count information, individual post breakdowns, etc.). I also think the account integration functionality could be improved to support multi-brand organizations like mine.

  • Helpful resource for organic campaigns
  • Improved link posting - able to track organic revenue by publishing specific links that are shortened by Khoros Marketing
Yes! Khoros Support has been very helpful in aiding in my company's social strategy. By noting new features and tools that are available, Khoros has aided in opportunities that have benefited my brand (i.e. the addition of TikTok).

Over the time that I've spent using Khoros, I've noticed how the platform has developed with our brand over time.
We currently use both Khoros Marketing and Khoros Care. Previously, we utilized the Care module within Khoros Marketing, and Khoros Care is a more developed platform for our agents. Khoros Marketing is more useful to my role, as Khoros Care does not support social media content planning and strategy.
  • Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest)
Outside of 8+ brand social media accounts (more than 25+ accounts in total), there are no other systems that we've attempted to integrate in Khoros. It's been slightly difficult to manage these account integrations since there are differing brands/social platforms involved, but it's been fantastic being able to utilize the platform as a universal workspace for our company. Our primary difficulty is ensuring that each account is successfully authenticated to collect necessary data and use the marketing tools as needed -- each account holder has to re-connect their brand's account manually, which can provide more hassle than ease. It's worth it, though!

Initially integrating social media accounts was a smooth process once the proper people were involved. I appreciated how quickly these integrations were achieved after authentication. For a corporation like ours, we have a multitude of different brands/accounts; like I said in my previous review question, it's been difficult to manage the breadth of our social integrations since each account requires manual reauthentication by the account's owner, however.
I would recommend having resources and necessary groups prepared beforehand. If all who are involved remain in the loop about the integration process, have credentials/information ready to go, and can properly make the integration successful, that's the most efficient way to achieve this in Khoros Marketing.

We use Khoros Marketing for just about everything social media related. We collect content through Khoros' Capture app then distribute it to various platforms using Khoros Marketing.
  • Schedules content
  • Organizes content internally
  • Posts content to social media platforms
  • When I go to add more content to a post in progress from the Khoros content center, it does not show me the content in order by date. Instead, it's scattered so I have to hunt for it through the folder that it's in.
  • Sometimes I get an email telling me that a post failed. I'm not sure why this happens. I then go back in and do the post the exact same and it goes through.
Overall, it is a great platform for organizing content if you have content coming in from multiple places. It is also just about as good as social media platforms will allow it to be in regard to scheduling and posting content.

  • Marketing has allowed us to manage 100+ social media profiles with only 2 managers in the system.
We have benefitted greatly from being able to monitor our brand(s) social presence and keep it active.
We can view all of the content that are users create before it actually gets posted. This allows us to correct mistakes and improve quality.
Khoros Marketing has allowed us to scale our own operations. Although the Khoros Capture app has given us a lot of trouble, the marketing side has held up nicely.

Social media platform management and internal content organization.

If you're using the Khoros Marketing Capture app for users to submit content, then it requires a lot of upkeep and should have a dedicated person.
  • Social media content organization
  • Social posting
  • Content collection
  • We enable each of our 100+ stores with the Capture app so we can also post organic / authentic content
  • As new social platforms rise, we plan to utilize marketing to manage them without massively growing our team
We have ongoing issues with the Capture app. If it weren't for that, then it would be a 10/10.
Yes
We were using Sprout Social which we were happy with at the time but it lacked essential functionality. We needed to be able to collect content from 500 users using a simple app. Khoros offered this with their Capture app.

  • Other
The Khoros Capture app was the most important differentiator for us. We needed to be able to collect content from all over the United States and store it / organize it in a cloud to then be posted to social platforms.
We would have dove deeper into the actual functionality of the Capture app. The Capture app has caused us a lot of issues over the past 2 years. We would have prioritized how need for a smooth/easy to use content collection app with minimal issues/downtime.
We did not purchase premium support. We should not have to pay for support to fix issues that should not be occurring in the first place.
Overall, support does a great job and is timely in their responses and efforts. We have had to contact support many times due to the Capture app. Some tickets have remained open for months, while others get resolved quickly. I understand this is not always up to support and they often have to wait for their engineering team to fix issues that we identified, but it's difficult to deal with issues that are affecting our workflow, especially for extended amounts of time.
Yes
The bugs that we have reported in Khoros Marketing have mostly been resolved in a timely fashion. The bugs that we have identified in the Khoros Capture app have sometimes taken a long time to get resolved.
Although I am being straightforward in these reviews and describing how support has taken a while to resolve support tickets, there have been plenty of times where support have resolved our issue with exceptional service. One time we needed to combine our initiatives yet keep some as is, instead of a lot of back and forth about the issue. They scheduled a call and although they had never done something like it before, we were about to work together in about 45 minutes and find a solution. This is only one example, like I said, there have been other times where support have helped us resolve issues rather quickly.
  • Basic social posting is very easy and straightforward to use
  • Basic organization (such as folders) is helpful and easy to use
  • The capture app, when working properly, is easy to use
  • Analytics can be tricky if you don't have much time to dive into them
  • Posting specific content such as stories and edited reels/tiktoks can be tricky
The basic functions that we use Khoros Marketing for are all easy to use. It obviously helps when you're on the platform every day.
Yes
I mostly use the mobile interface to collect content and post natively. You cannot post/schedule posts through the mobile app. The app has actually recently improved (we identified a bug that was impacting our workflow and support took care of it)
  • all of our social media platforms
  • Google
Easy to integrate and reauthenticate.
  • Google business photo posting
I have recommended it before in Khoros Atlas. The Khoros team agreed it would be great to add in the future.
  • File import/export
  • API (e.g. SOAP or REST)
I have only integrated simple integrations and have not tested this to its full extent.
None as this is not an area of Khoros that I have lots of experience in.

My company uses Khoros as social media management, social listening, and customer care tool. Multiple branches (countries) coordinate and share social media content via Khoros. Using Khoros Intelligence, we generate regular social listening reports for product managers on various topics (technologies, competitors, products) from Twitter posts/conversations. Customer queries on Twitter are answered via the corporate customer care inbox.
  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Creating social listening dashboards
  • Mobile post pushing
  • Reporting dashboards
  • Social listening on Reddit
  • More user-friendly content center
Khoros Marketing works well for companies that have many users going into the platform. My company has many users from multiple branches that all use Khoros for both separate and overlapping platforms, and running into each others' efforts hasn't really been an issue for us. In fact, it's easy to see what is scheduled from the calendar view and copying posts is pretty simple.

  • Organic social media campaign organization
  • Ability to identify relevant conversations through social listening
  • Ability to respond to customer queries/comments
In my role, I have not worked directly with Khoros Support on anything other than instances of troubleshooting when certain platforms were down.
Khoros Marketing has allowed us to identify conversations that needed quick follow-up that we would not have been able to easily find manually (for example, conversations, where our company was not tagged in the social media, post mentioning us). We are able to use approved language for a more regulated copy by centrally using the content center.
Khoros has been willing to provide more options for our company as we, as well as general social media capabilities, have grown.
We evaluated these two platforms as due diligence before deciding to continue using Khoros. Overall, the employees involved in the evaluation were more impressed with Khoros' demos and pricing.
