At first, I was unsure how or if it was going to work and now I use Zoom for almost all my meetings. It is my personal choice for phone and video conferences for internal or external meetings/ I have my own personal account within the business. The number one problem that Zoom addresses for me in comparison to standard phone conferencing (which incidentally is the primary reason I have a personal account) is the moderation. The lack of moderation on our old phone conferencing system made teleconferences very hard to manage if someone's phone went rogue. At present enabling recording feature enables for all users. Creating different groups in corporate and Security rules to restrict communication among the groups is not available. Large group meetings have some restrictions on mute/unmute voice and video after the meeting starts. Using Mac for Zoom rooms can be expensive for some of small companies. Some of the zoom room multiple screen setups reflect differently at times while the changes are made while conferencing is ON. There are a lot of features and selections, and it can be overwhelming sometimes to figure out the settings you prefer. Zoom could provide better training resources, besides one long document. They should diversify their training portfolio to video and short-clips.,10,Before Zoom we had Join.me, which was not the most reliable. Our team is able to rely 100% on Zoom, knowing that it is going to work and connect our team with others. This gives our go-to-market team peace of mind, and is one less thing we have to worry about. Before Zoom we used Rev to transcribe recordings which cost us money per recording. We upgraded our Zoom account to business, which includes unlimited free transcribing for all recorded meetings. This has saved us the money it cost to upgrade. Before Zoom we used Rev to transcribe recordings, which required extra steps and a longer period of time from recording to complete transcription. We upgraded our Zoom account to business, which includes unlimited free transcribing for all recorded meetings. This process saves us time getting recordings within an hour or two after a call and webinar.,Currently, our go-to-market team does not use Zoom Rooms. From my understanding, Zoom Rooms allows teams to wirelessly connect via video and audio through on-screen conferencing. It is a good tool for remote employees. Dyknow does not have remote workers, therefore we do not have a need to use Zoom Rooms when we meet.,Join.me and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)Zoom is by far the best meeting tool availableZoom is now our online meeting tool for all clients calls. We use it across the organization. Zoom allows us to quickly and easily connect and present via audio and video with our clients regardless of where they are located globally and it never fails.,Installs quickly and easily: no one has ever told me they were unable to install Zoom to join a meeting with me, unlike every other meeting tool I've used. Audio and video quality is excellent. Allows anyone on the call to easily present and share their screen.,There's very little if anything missing from Zoom. I've never used a software program that was more reliable.,10,Zoom has given us the confidence to set meetings with our most valuable prospects without any fear of technical issues. Major time savings from not having to reset calls because someone can't join or get it installed on their computer.,I have not used Zoom rooms.,GoToMeeting, Join.me, Webex Meetings and HighfiveZoom is exactly what they say it is - Awesome!We converted from GoToMeeting to Zoom about a year ago. Instantly, the reliability was far better. While I'm personally not a fan of video conferencing, Zoom does it very well and even has a number of very nice features like backgrounds and automatic recording of a meeting either to their cloud or to a local server. But where Zoom is really shining for us is in phone service. Our staff is geographically distributed all over the United States and we've never had a phone system that will allow us all to transfer calls and all call out on a common number. Zoom Phone allows us to do this, plus - again - a number of great features like call recording, call routing, and logging. My only complaint is that I wish I would have had some money to invest in their IPO. Their stock has been performing amazingly well, just like their service!,Video conferencing. Phone service. It is our one-stop shop in keeping in contact with our current clients and building relationships with potential new prospects. Zoom saves us time and money with having to travel and meet clients face to face within the London area.,Zoom is a great online conference meeting software that our clients can join us on via their mobile or desktop computer. Particularly useful that you can screen share with others on the call as well as present PowerPoint presentations and demo your mobile screen using the mirroring capabilities. If you wanted to record a front-facing video, I love the fact you can change your background to not look like your in the office or at home. What is really great is that all meetings or any type of video recording using Zoom is downloadable to your desktop and can be saved on your Zoom account cloud storage.,It would be great if Zoom had a few basic video editing features for the videos recorded using Zoom. When participants are waiting to enter the meeting it would be nice to be able to have waiting music. I would love to be able to embed videos recorded via Zoom to my website instead of having to upload it to Vimeo or YouTube.,8,Saving time by not having to meet clients face-to-face. The combination of all the features has saved us money overall. Ability to build relationships with people around the world due to it being online.,No, we currently do not use Zoom rooms but would be interested in trying it very soon. We use Zoom as a tool to communicate with our employees remotely, conduct training, and host Q&A sessions they may have. It enables people to connect remotely and not be confined to traveling to a specific location. Zoom is great when you have people at multiple buildings or in different locations. Also, the ability to share publicly is limited in Zoom.

If everything you do is in one building, then it has limited application. Create a general public forum of content on Zoom with regards to meetings and training.
Unfortunately, we have not used the Zoom Rooms feature.

  • Very simple and intuitive to use.
It is suitable in:
  • Work sessions with people in different cities.
  • This session can be recorded on your laptop directly or if you do not have space you can do it in the cloud.
  • You can enter the session from a computer, tablet, mobile phone, or even from a telephone.

I can't think of scenarios where Zoom isn't appropriate.
I didn't have to use Zoom Rooms.

Zoom is perfect for one-on-one video meetings, and works well for classes hosted virtually. When a real-estate agent joins our brokerage I can host an onboarding meeting to get them introduced and acquainted with our company and our technology. I have also used it from my computer, where I hosted a virtual training where we had more people than our training room could accommodate. I was able to teach a class with 60 people physically in attendance and another 20 or so virtually attending.
No I haven't used Zoom Rooms.

Zoom is being used across the whole company spanning multiple countries. It's lag-free and very easy to set up.

Zoom serves as a professional tool for both internal and external users, where we can maintain the brand in a very positive way. Colleagues who have used or are new to Zoom are also finding it very easy to set up. Though we are not using the enterprise plan, we think that we will continue to use the service once the demand reaches that level.
I'm not too familiar with Zoom Rooms, and I guess one of the key points for improvement would be regular check-ups and specific training/introduction for new users.

Zoom is being used by several people in several departments across our organization. It helps us communicate with our own folks in other locations in the country, as well as with consultants and advisors overseas. It is especially useful for us because we often have bandwidth problems, but Zoom adapts to that, so we never lose connectivity.
  • Scheduling and joining meetings is easy; sharing meeting IDs is easy.
  • Connectivity is great! We have rarely lost a call due to poor bandwidth.
  • Collaboration during meetings is a breeze (sharing screens, chatting, etc.).
Zoom works exceptionally well for video conferences. I've been on 1 on 1 conferences, and others with 20+ users, and it has worked well in all scenarios.

We use Zoom as a communication tool in European Research Projects of 8 to 10 partners, totaling up to 30 people. Zoom allows us to hold our plenary meetings on a Monthly or bi-Monthly basis. Currently, only the Center for Research in Computing is using Zoom in their projects. Occasionally we use Zoom for other training or administrative sessions.
  • Interactive online sessions with screen-sharing.
  • Good audio quality.
  • Good recording quality.
  • Cloud service recordings.
  • Intuitive desktop and mobile interfaces.
If your link quality is sub-par, you will probably not benefit from the use of Zoom, since you will not be able to hear/see what is being spoken/presented in the session. Also, mobile connections, especially at high speed (train, bus, car on a motorway) are not recommended -- the session tends to break down.
No, we don't use Zoom Rooms, so I can't say anything about this feature.

With 40 stores and a team of employees around the country, Zoom has been an amazing tool in keeping our internal team here connected with constant face to face meetings. We're also able to use it for meetings with business partners and for hiring and training.
  • It's easy to connect! We have team members joining meetings via desktop computer, smartphone video, or just calling in, and they have all raved about how easy it easy to connect.
  • It's so quick and painless to schedule a meeting! It takes me less than a minute, and I love all of the options available with a simple click as I'm setting it up.
  • The visual presentation with several uses on-screen at once is perfect. It's easy to see and keep track of all meeting attendees.
Zoom is great for meetings with large groups. It's easy to see and keep track of attendees, to handle the controls as needed, and to share your screen. We have used Zoom for several months to host our big monthly department meeting that requires participation from many users, and the platform offers such a clean and clear visual for meeting with 50 people at once.

We are using Zoom for weekly meetings by almost every department within our organization. We use to do screen sharing sessions when troubleshooting issues end users are having or when we are needing to touch base as a team.

We have a high touch success model and Zoom helps us quickly and effectively conduct meetings with our clients. We can share our screen easily and share important information back and forth. It addresses the issue that our book of business is national and global and there are no barriers to us connecting with Zoom.

I was first introduced to Zoom about 7 years ago by a client that needed a basic video conference service. I was immediately impressed by the simplicity of use, which enabled even mid-level technicians to execute events that it was used on. We now use Zoom as the basis of any small video conference across the business, up to large scale full production communication. It is my personal choice for phone and video conferences for internal or external meetings/ I have my own personal account within the business. The number one problem that Zoom addresses for me in comparison to standard phone conferencing (which incidentally is the primary reason I have a personal account) is the moderation. The lack of moderation on our old phone conferencing system made teleconferences very hard to manage if someone's phone went rogue. Zoom allows me to deal with that issue, with the added benefit of video and screen sharing if required.

Zoom is suited for 99% of any scenario you can put in front of me and I would think as a business we have probably done it all. We even used it for an 8 person Sydney/8 person Singapore dinner conference where we used the Breakout Room Function. I can't actually think of a scenario where I would not use it. We even use USB3 and SDI capture devices on larger events to push professional camera mixed signals into Zoom.
I personally do not use Zoom Rooms.

Zoom has been an incredible tool which replaced Skype for Business in my organization. It's being used by the whole organization. Being a cloud video conferencing tool, it solved many problems that we were facing while using Skype for Business a few years back. Quicker in implementation and peace of mind for the IT team.

  • Plugins for Mail clients, browsers, etc. are really great features.
  • Joining by phone is greatest advantage.
  • Recording the session and maintaining the recording over cloud is wonderful feature.
  • Wonderful administrative console and controls offered.
It is well suited for large companies with many zoom rooms who have various domains within. For small companies and companies that have more security restrictions between groups, it's less appropriate. Example: If we have 2 conflicting customer accounts, then we cannot restrict users from communicating among them. Data classification and DLP tagging with industry tools are missing.
Zoom Rooms are one of the best offerings for corporate. We have not trained or create a Zoom Room to help documentation. Users just started using on Day 1 without any questions. Sharing of screen, calendar integration of the Zoom Rooms, Interoperability with other platforms (Cisco/Polycom), Display options, Live check for any Jitters in the conference and participants, etc.

Currently, everyone uses Zoom across my company. We use it to communicate easily across teams and locations. I work 50% remotely so Zoom is absolutely necessary to participate in HQ meetings. The connection is very reliable and I trust it with my meetings that span over 25 people for hours at a time.

Zoom is perfect for intimate business meetings or professional 1-on-1s. I have found that if I quickly want to instigate a meeting through Slack, I can do so directly by pasting a URL. We use zoom in a mixed technology setting (Polycom, laptops, cell phones). We use it across our entire organization. It allows us to efficiently connect our proceedings with other parts of our govt to cut down on time spent and costs of transport.
  • The quality has been extraordinary. We used a competing solution before but it never quite met our expectations.
  • The reliability of Zoom has been excellent. We have never experienced any downtown from the service.
  • The user interface is simple making it easy for even our less experienced users to catch on and not feel intimidated.
We host different hearings and sometimes we have multiple parties on at the same time. The waiting room functionality has certainly made it easy to organize and keep track of who is in a call. Also being able to do test calls with the parties involved without having to create a separate invite has simplified things for us.

  • Zoom meetings are easily the most user friendly application we currently use.
  • Zoom support is quick to respond and resolve all of my requests. Every Zoom support ticket has been one-touch.
  • The administrative side of Zoom is centralized and simplified to a good balance. My admins love the straight forward approach to the admin portal and reporting.
Zoom is great for all business sizes, but especially enterprise customers where you can take advantage of more than one product.
Zoom Rooms has been rolled out to all of our conference rooms with a meeting satisfaction rate consistently over 95%. The quality and consistency are the biggest features that improve the end-user experience and reduces the number of time technicians and admins spend on conferencing and collaboration technologies.

I use Zoom for teaching at the graduate level. Synchronous class sections help students connect to each other and instructor. Zoom has a lower learning curve than most Synchronous services at an affordable price. We use break-out rooms, polls, and other features. Students are mostly able to self-tea h on the technology.

Zoom is intended for 1. Meetings and 2. Webinars. Any meeting our Go-to-Market team has, whether it is a sales demo, free trial onboarding, pipeline touchpoint, or marketing client call, we use Zoom as the medium to connect. Additionally, our marketing team uses Zoom to host educational, lead generating webinars, allowing us to reach up to 100 attendees at once.
Currently, our go-to-market team does not use Zoom Rooms. From my understanding, Zoom Rooms allows teams to wirelessly connect via video and audio through on-screen conferencing. It is a good tool for remote employees. Dyknow does not have remote workers, therefore we do not have a need to use Zoom Rooms when we meet.

We converted from GoToMeeting to Zoom about a year ago. Instantly, the reliability was far better. While I'm personally not a fan of video conferencing, Zoom does it very well and even has a number of very nice features like backgrounds and automatic recording of a meeting either to their cloud or to a local server. But where Zoom is really shining for us is in phone service. Our staff is geographically distributed all over the United States and we've never had a phone system that will allow us all to transfer calls and all call out on a common number. Zoom Phone allows us to do this, plus - again - a number of great features like call recording, call routing, and logging. My only complaint is that I wish I would have had some money to invest in their IPO. Their stock has been performing amazingly well, just like their service!

Zoom is currently being used in several ways across the entire business from helping us to carry out online virtual meetings to hosting live group workshops and creating how-to video tutorials. It is our one-stop shop in keeping in contact with our current clients and building relationships with potential new prospects. Zoom saves us time and money with having to travel and meet clients face to face within the London area.
  • Zoom is a great online conference meeting software that our clients can join us on via their mobile or desktop computer.
  • Particularly useful that you can screen share with others on the call as well as present PowerPoint presentations and demo your mobile screen using the mirroring capabilities.
  • If you wanted to record a front-facing video, I love the fact you can change your background to not look like your in the office or at home.
  • What is really great is that all meetings or any type of video recording using Zoom is downloadable to your desktop and can be saved on your Zoom account cloud storage.
Zoom is well suited for us as a small business who carries out online virtual coaching consultations with clients around the world on mobile and desktop. Its interactive features are great for us when we hold group workshops as it allows our learners to ask questions and interact with one another. Zoom can be inconvenient for some of our clients who do not have the storage capacity to download the Zoom software on to their computer and who are not very tech savvy even with the basics of tech know-how.
No, we currently do not use Zoom rooms but would be interested in trying it very soon. Before doing so I feel I may want to get some training to help us understand in detail the benefits and how it works.
