We used this to take care of HR activities including remuneration and taking care of time off, etc. This is also referred for bulk employee management in the organization.

  • This can be more GUI improved.
  • More publicity and an increase in the number of users will create opportunities to add more features.
  • Unique number identification for employee will be an add on advantage.
It is well suited for payroll management. Adjusting time off of the employee. Talent management. It helps in managing the employee rating in an efficient manner. Its ability to integrate features with other softwares is an add-on advantage.

Additionally it gave us insight into our company, the people and profiles of each person, and trend lines that we can use for decision making. It is used by 100% of our team, and it is extremely easy to use, straightforward, and implementation was actually very easy.

Namely is extremely well-suited to you if you need a solution now but are worried about implementation, which system is right, etc. It is extremely well-suited if you have multiple complex systems, websites, multiple payroll servicing sites, or if your employees have to remember a bunch of different passwords and which websites to go on (like in open enrollment).

We use Namely across the company for HRIS, paperless Onboarding, Goals, and Performance Reviews. It provides efficiency and transparency for all team members and saves the HR team hours a month.

Cons
  • Customer support can always be improved. I find the level of knowledge of the support team is sometimes less than my own.
I believe Namely is best suited [for] small to medium-sized companies with fairly straightforward processes.

Namely is used in a variety of ways. There is a newsfeed that we see on our home page that shows everyone's birthday and anniversary. Plus, if we ever want to give a shout out we can do that there too. In addition to that, we request our time off, view benefits and paystubs.
  • Love the ease of use of the newsfeed functionality.
  • The paystub feature is great. Namely sends an email to me when I'm paid and I can easily view it from my phone.
  • Its very very easy and simple. Almost to the point that you think it lacks in something cause it does not have a lof of fluff. This is a good thing as it has everything you need, just appears clean.
Cons
  • As of now- nothing. For what it's used for, it has everything it needs.
For those in sales who want to view pay stubs easily, it's great. I really like the newsfeed where you can view what's going on at the company. Time off is also done from it. There are a few other features that are there but I don't use like the Benefits and expenses. Overall it has everything you would need in an HR system.

Great Product. Could Use More Focus on Implementation.

We are using Namely for HR and payroll purposes. We were looking for a solution that would standardize our HR processes, do away with the manual nature in which we have worked in the past and also move away from ADP for payroll purposes. We have been happy with the system thus far.
