Zoom is much more stable and the quality is superior compared to Google Hangouts or Skype. While we used those software, the quality was not the best, it was harder to set everything up, and it was hard to integrate with our other systems. Zoom works like a charm - it even integrates with Slack and all you have to do it text someone /zoom to get on a call together! Super easy and effective.

Zoom has all the same tools and more, all for a better price. I would highly recommend Zoom!

For the price, you can't get things like remote access (where the presenter changes), have whiteboards, and everything else Zoom has to offer. The main difference beyond price is the recordings. Zoom's recordings come in an mp4 format which is much easier to use.

We found Zoom as an audio video meeting service / application to be as good or comparable to Webex Meetings. Both have their share of pros and cons. Zoom and Webex were our preferred apps over Microsoft Teams and Slack for a variety of reasons. But in the end, we do not use Microsoft Teams or Slack for meetings due to the lack of features specific to Meetings module.

I think without any doubt Zoom is an amazing application. so there was no question in choosing another product over Zoom. Most of the people use Zoom so people doesn't have to add any tool to run the application

We used Zoom to tailor to our customer base as it was more widely used and commonly referred to by our "average" non-technological clients. We also have been using, and still are, Webex for our internal meetings as well as all of our enterprise level customer presentations. We feel Zoom is appropriate for most but that Webex is Bbst for the enterprise.

Google Meet compared to Zoom has fewer functions, no whiteboard, no Q&A section, no possibility to grant screen sharing permission to other tools. But instead of it, Google Meet delivered together with other G-Suite products and tools so it has deeper integration possibilities with Google toolkit despite its less functionality.

I found Zoom more user friendly. You can use Zoom without installing and it was easier to integrate with existing hardware and software. Zoom was also much more widely known and used, which made it easier to communicate with people from outside. Personally I liked the quality of the sessions better with Zoom.

Skype is the only real "competitor" of Zooms that I've used, but it was previous to my business career. In my eyes, Skype can't even begin to compete with the market Zoom has created for themselves in the space of business meetings, as it's become a household name for companies everywhere!

Zoom is much better than Google Hangouts Meet and Cisco Webex. Google hangouts has a limit on number of participants and doesn't have the ability to breakout participants into groups. Also, google hangouts have been buggy for a very very long time. Additionally, we need a google account to use hangouts. One cannot participate without a gmail account. WebEx is just an archaic tool that was never improved. Zoom scores higher compared to both the tools on user friendliness, reliability, features and general look and feel.

Zoom in my opinion is much easier to use than Skype when you get to know the program. The versatility that Zoom gives you is incredible compared to what Skype let you do. Skype is very nice as a video chatting application but when it comes to having more people, [I feel] that's where Zoom sweeps Skype away. The latency inside Skype is awful at times and could really ruin the atmosphere of an important call.

Zoom and Teams both support online meetings, chats, calls, screen sharing, and file sharing, among other capabilities. The main distinction between the two is Microsoft's integration of Teams with its Office 365 suite. Zoom's ability to display up to 49 individuals on one screen is one of its most popular features. On the other hand, Google Meet's tiled layout allows up to 16 individuals to appear on the screen at the same time.

Skype is Windows only, so it's completely unusable for us. It's got poor audio and video quality too. Microsoft Teams, at least on Linux, is incredibly slow. I once timed it--it took 45 seconds from hitting enter in the browser location bar until the Teams channels were usable. Teams video meetings are unstable, laggy, and the sound is always bad. Zoom really shines here.

Major thing is lot of more feature than Skype.
Skype was very heavy on processor as it was heavy, but Zoom is light weight.
Skype use to lags alot, but it is not case with Zoom as it runs very smoothly on any processor.
No expert is required to configure Zoom
Skype was costly than Zoom.
So Zoom is beneficial in most cases than Skype.

In my opinion, Zoom blows Skype out of the water. Skype was a great tool, but always seemed like an unprofessional form of communication given that I had been using it since my adolescence. While Zoom can be used by the younger generation as well, it seems to be a much better option for business-related topics and meetings.

I [have] used Skype before using Zoom. Skype is a good Video conferencing solution but that does not have powerful and quality features like Zoom. Zoom keeps advanced ways of online collaboration and provides better video quality results. Now I use Zoom because it is fulfilling my all requirements.

We devised our specifications and evaluated the following products and Zoom has most of the features that we required for our business. The most prominent and frequently used features among our organization is breakout rooms. This minimizes the urgency to buy multiple licenses and promotes the use of a minimum number of licenses to perform the same task that requires multiple licenses on other products. The other reason was the cost of each license is very minimal for Zoom as compared to other products. The post-meeting reports and the inbuilt compression and decompression feature of Zoom are superior when it comes to the low bandwidth network that is common in our region.

Zoom is the best enterprise level video software, especially when taking meetings with more than 5 people who are all in different locations. Zoom gives you the ability to host polls, Q&A, and a smorgasbord of other specific features that competitors don't have. The only downside is you have to pay for Zoom if you really want everything, but it's well worth the cash.

Microsoft Teams does not allow full visibility of everyone on the call vs. Zoom. In addition, I feel that there is a level of privacy with this platform and I like the fact that I have control to be able to go in and adjust my own settings, if I should need a change.

I think that Zoom and Webex are by far the two strongest in this industry and the features are similar. I think the capabilities are far superior to what you find with GoToMeeting and Blackboard Collaborate. I chose Zoom over the others for this specific group of users because of the ease of use.
