I have used quite a range of these tools over time. Some work pretty well if all parties are using a laptop with high bandwidth. However, Zoom works extremely well when people are on different devices / media (like some on phone, some on computer). Others services either can't handle mixed device type calls at all, OR the quality suffers. The most common problem is a lag is introduced when you have a combination of computer and plain phone callers. This does not appear to be the case with Zoom.

Zoom is on the higher end of the products listed. The scalability and adaptability of a Zoom Room is only fairly comparable to BlueJeans. Some of our colleagues do use BlueJeans and many use Zoom. Zoom is the preferred platform for our main tenant mainly because the parent company uses Zoom. Presumably, they also did research on the available platforms and found Zoom to be among the best.

I was fairly satisfied with these other solutions when we had them, but after using Zoom for a few months I much prefer it. The video quality with Zoom makes it easy to see faces and converse face to face rather than just with audio. Zoom also has better settings and customizations than other apps, so each person within the account can set things to their liking.

Zoom seems to have better call quality than WebEx. It also has a much better user interface that clearly defines the different actions one might use during a meeting. Zoom is also easier to understand when it comes to meeting rooms, as joining a Zoom meeting takes less time and fewer clicks.

Zoom has most of the features that GoToMeeting and Webex have, at a significantly better price. The quality is good. It would be extremely beneficial if Zoom were to keep its prices down. Otherwise, we would certainly use more convenient alternatives on the market. To date, the features and price/quality range that Zoom offers are satisfactory.

After using WebEx for years, we have loved the switch to Zoom. The customer service is so awesome and friendly, a huge improvement from WebEx. It's so much easier for users to connect to a meeting from various devices without a login needed, which is key with the many meeting attendees we have. And we prefer Zoom's interface with viewing all of our users so easily and clearly.

Google Hangouts is more easily integrated into Gmail, but I have found that the quality with Zoom is much better. However, I have noticed times when bandwidth requirements seem lower with Google Hangouts - making it my go-to when I am somewhere with an unreliable connection. I also think Google Hangouts makes it harder to share exactly what you want.

Zoom has blown our previous Voice & Meeting vendors away in cost, quality, and consistency. The cost was a major factor that allowed us to take a risk on a newer service, but the quality of the voice and video across all zoom products paired with the outstanding communication from both Support and Sales has kept Workfront as satisfied customers. Year over year we have increased our investment into Zoom product and are met with consistent value.

Zoom just WORKS. For big events, we would have to test Skype the day before. However, after all the headache of setting up certain speakers, webcams, and microphones, the next day it would STILL NOT WORK. This was without touching the laptop! However, with zoom, on the first setup and in little time, we had the same setup working flawlessly.

Join.me is not the most reliable tool. It would break on us before and during meetings. Our go-to-market team has had no issues with Zoom's reliability. Our office also has Skype for Business for our phone line, and can be used for video meetings. We use Skype for Business internally for chatting along with Slack, but Zoom is used for all external and presentation meetings.
