What is Zoom Workplace?

Zoom Workplace brings communication, employee engagement, spaces, and productivity solutions together on a single platform with Zoom AI Companion capabilities woven throughout. It is designed to streamline communications with AI-powered tools that work together through solutions like Meetings, Team Chat, Phone, Mail & Calendar, and Scheduler. A chat can be elevated to a meeting or phone call to get to a resolution faster, and the solution drives productivity with products that are built for modern work through solutions like Whiteboard, Clips, Notes, Surveys, and Docs.

To optimize office experiences and hybrid work collaboration it includes workspace solutions like Rooms, Workspace Reservation, Visitor Management, and Digital Signage. Compared to these other products, Zoom has greater ease of use, and easier connection for our end users. Faster set up, with minimal to no hiccups. We have had user acceptance at a much more successful rate and customer satisfaction has been positive. I look forward to trying to get this in the hands of my colleagues to share across the organization, as I feel it would go a long way to overall customer success. I think that with some of the other products that I have seen over the last 2 days there is a great value add for my organization, and would also help to empower our end users when it comes to meeting set up making freeing up the IT team from all the meeting support. I think that it would also help give the IT team some time back for meeting set up, as at this moment we are often allocating 30 minutes at the start of every meeting for setup and troubleshooting.

There's a night and day difference between Zoom and a Webex call. Zoom is super easy to connect into, and very intuitive for users to use. Webex still looks like you need an engineering degree to have a successful session.

Zoom is way more easy to use than all others. With WebEx we'd have issues with plugin installation, and many times it would fail in audio availability, especially when using Safari. We're very interested in WHEREBY, though, as it provides very fast access to an instant meeting, and is completely web-based. All that's needed with Whereby is a URL, and you're set!

Zoom has simply been easier to use and better quality product compared to Cisco WebEx. Meetings run smoother, video and audio delay is minimal, sharing content is done with a click of a single button, and on top of that, there is also great chat build right into the Zoom client.

Video quality is superior. The ability to adjust to network disruptions is superior (Skype for Business in many cases never recovers and you need to restart). The ability to meet with external participants over video is superior.

Cisco has the end to end product line that includes the endpoint and Webex meeting. Most notably, the Cisco Room Kits Suite of products are high quality and easy to install/use. They look professional too, whereas the 3rd-party product by Zoom lacks that kind of professional look.

Hands down the ease of use for our hosts to initiate and our users to get on a Zoom session. We've used very little hardware so far but the fact that we were able to use Zoom with our laptops and desktops was a huge positive. Now we're looking to see the hardware for Zoom rooms and excited to see what's next.

Zoom is by far better than Skype when connecting to external clients. Skype required changes to firewalls or other settings by our clients, Zoom does not require that and has been very easy to deploy.

Zoom just works for us. It has a Linux client, that is why we choose Zoom. We needed a single platform for our video conferencing. One of the things I like most about Zoom is the ability to connect to Zoom using a variety of hardware.
