I believe work for us now, as well suited in the payroll once implemented and users are trained and how to navigate. I also believe that it is very helpful in HRIS. We do have user issues. Our employees have a hard time navigating, especially from a mobile device. There are several times where there are errors or cannot access certain tasks.

Digitizing time punches, onboarding, and benefits especially during the pandemic. We were originally using all paper and filing cabinets to handle employees’ documents. Now everything can be found under one hub in ADP Workforcenow.
  • Payroll

  • Design
ADP Workforcenow is great for easy timecards and has tons of connectors for benefits, taxes, etc. The new design is great as well but could be more user friendly. Onboarding is very helpful but could have better flow and allow collaboration between users.

Payroll & HR new hire onboarding. Great for meeting reporting requirements.
  • Timekeeping.
  • Leave benefit accruals.
  • Reports
  • Onboarding
  • Payroll Processing
  • ADP employee training on WFN, especially in the implementation teams.
  • Adding time off dates to employee email so they know what dates their supervisor approved.
  • Delegating onboarding to more than one practitioner.
  • Faster response time on service tickets.
  • Having ability to be logged into more than one session in WFN.
  • Persons Authorized to contact ADP, would like to see easier to make changes.
  • Time-off policies-projecting accruals does not always work accurately. We have to go to Time Off balances to see true picture.
Works well for regular employees but less so for contract 1099 employees. 1099 employees are much easier to pay through accounts payable than WFN. Absolutely love effective date changes & reporting features.

We use ADP for Our employee record keeping ,in term of clocking in and out, vacation ,benefits and employee manual updates.
  • Track Vacation and approvals.
  • Track missed hours and ease of notifications for management to adjust any mistakes.
  • Makes finding pertinent information easier to find.
  • Sometimes, ADP does not log hours when punching in.
This program although can use a bit of updating to increase sensitivity when punching in and out on the app, there is alot to recommend it.

  • Time Tracking
  • Reporting
  • Payroll Process
  • History of time card changes
  • Lack of "Pay Profile" as a shortcut on the employee profile tabs
We have 7 companies, all with different requirements and needs. ADP is capable of adjusting to our needs on the fly. Our Account Manager is always available to assist with any problems that may arise during the day-to-day payroll process. Excellent company!

We use Workforce Now as our HRIS and for payroll. We use the performance, benefits, and analytics modules. It is very helpful in my role for analyzing data. I love the analytics dashboard and how easy it is to run reports for the data in ADP. My company conducts 90 day new hire and annual reviews and the Performance module has been great. It is very easy to customize and automate our review processes. I like that we can report off the data in the performance module as well and the the chat feature if you have questions. It would be nice if they had the chat feature in other areas of the software.
  • US Payroll
  • ADP Reporting
  • Performance Module
  • Analytics Dashboard
  • It would be helpful to have the chat feature in the reporting section.
  • It would be nice to see who made changes in the system. For example, making changes to employee profile, payroll and benefits section. As we have multiple users it would be nice to track that especially if there were mistakes made.
  • We use enhance time and when we have rehires we always have to re-enter their time and position data. Most of our hires start on Monday so we enter their data on the Friday before their start date. For rehires we have to re-enter their data again on Monday for the Time Position Info section.
The Analytics Dashboard is one of the best features that I enjoy about ADP. It makes it easy to analyze employee data especially tracking turnover and retention rate. The Performance Module has been helpful for automating our 90 day and annual reviews. Before we started using the Performance module is was a paper process. This way it is much easier to track and is helpful for our managers. About 6 years ago we uploaded our employees files in ADP and have been paperless. It was a huge project as we had a lot of employees but once it was done it was so worth it to not have paper files and quickly able to find employee's data in ADP.

We use ADP to process our payroll and utilize the different reports.
  • Calculate Payroll
  • Manage employees, new and existing.
  • Provides different reports for different things
  • Access to older reports exceeding a year
  • Personal profile page could have more items added
  • Easier access to a representative such as IM
I do not any scenarios where it is less appropriate but it is very easy to maneuver. When I need to see if an employee is currently working, the option see is present on the employees job page and if they are are currently on LOA the start date is present there as well.

Workforce Now allows us to effectively manage our employees profiles. That sounds simple, but working in international HR I have used a plethora of different programs, and ADP is by far and away the best. Every now and again, I encounter a problem, but the nice thing about ADP is that there is always a solution to that problem.
  • Managing Benefits
  • Payroll
  • Reporting
  • Talent Management - more ability to customize performance reviews. I have submitted feedback on this through service connect.
  • Recruitment - More room for fuctionality on changing fields. We use this more for internal tracking, and it's really difficult to get the fields to reflect the information I need
  • Reporting - offer complimentary training on building custom reports?
I really appreciate the support from ADP as its primary feature. Yes, it's fuctional, but other companies can do that too. What I count on and value from ADP is the support that I receive when I have questions or face problems. I usually have a prompt and reliable solution.

I have Practitioner access. In my role as Staffing Manager I run different reports for statistics and audit purposes. I utilize the learning to brush up my skills and to figure out new things. I will be implementing the online recruitment soon, I will be going back to learning modules as it has been awhile.
  • The support is usually quick with responses, but other times not so much
  • The Bridge is amazing, found many answers here and even supplied answers for others.
  • The payroll function is ever evolving and it is nice to see updates
  • response time from Account Manager - especially on Payroll upload days.
  • understanding why taken hours doesn't match paid hours for some employees
  • major items not resolved
  • our W2 were sent to print even with major items unresolved resulting in corrected W2 having to be sent
I understand that there is now a new tier available for purchase which basically puts you first in line for questions, but why do we need to pay for better customer service. Shouldn't ADP just provide it?

ADP Workforce Now is used for time & attendance, HRIS information, reports, payroll, and ACA compliance. And performance reviews.
  • Bridge Support.
  • Customer Service Support.
  • Functionality-not user is friendly.
  • Communication regarding widespread issues with the platform.
  • Errors or issues don't indicate what they are.
ADP Workforce Now may work for some organizations, but it doesn't provide us with what we need due to the complexity of our organization, but we try to work with what we have. We always have issues, but there is a lack of customer service support. We assigned a rep which we rarely ever hear from.

Process payroll and benefits administration. We are currently implementing recruiting, onboarding, compensation, employee performance, and voice of the employee.
  • Payroll Batches.
  • Tax Set UP.
  • Vendor EDI Files.
  • Address changes, keep the history.
  • Access - be more granular within a subset of permissions.
  • Add a manager on the go, and allow managers to approve timecards and pto requests via the app.
Well suited for bi-weekly payroll processing with no frills. Not well suited for non-profit T&A, need more ability to update timecards post-processing, understanding you can't change what has happened.

We use ADP mainly for payroll purposes. We also use time and attendance. We have biometric time clocks, and all hourly employees punch in and out daily. We use ADP for PTO as well.
  • User friendly.
  • Easy website navigation.
  • Helpful templates to facilitate processes.
  • Reporting
  • Being able to work in multiple tabs in the web browser.
  • Being able to switch to different views without being stuck on one employee (always have to change back to view all employees).
I believe ADP can be customized to pretty much anyone. I like that each service is separate, and that way, you can only purchase what you need. I do not like the sales calls, though, trying to get us to add more products to our ADP.

ADP WFN and ADP Canada users for eight different company codes. We use ADP Time and Attendance as well as UKG timekeeping with integrations to ADP to process payroll on several different pay cycles - weekly, biweekly, and monthly.

  • Integrations with UKG.
  • New Experience does not always calculate previews or finalize approvals easily.

At Moxtek, the ADP Workforce Now is used for time clocking and payroll. We also use it for onboarding and data analysis. The issue that the company used to face is the reporting was done manually, and it was hard to track data. Now using Workforce Now has allowed for automating the process of reporting and is correct compared to the manual entry.
  • Benchmark data.
  • Onboarding
  • Reporting
  • Adjustable payroll schedule or easier to add payroll.
  • Wage adjustments are made at the beginning of the pay period to be paid correctly.
  • Product code allocation could be improved so that timebank does not need to be used.
Workforce Now is a great tool for any company of any size because you are able to customize the product to your needs. As long as training is done correctly the company is able to utilize the program to its full potential. When first starting to work for Moxtek they were unhappy with the product until I showed them what could be done with it when set up correctly.

I use it for timekeeping and payroll; it is also where all employee information is housed in terms of positions and personal information. ADP addresses pay laws, keeps track of everything, and has great reports.
  • The reports are detailed, and you can drill down into information.
  • They let you create new payroll codes for anything.
  • They get back to you quickly when you have questions.
  • I know there is a way, but I have been unable to save my data sheet for payroll as the one it defaults to.
  • Comparison reports for timeframes on the same report, I run two, but it is cumbersome.
They have helped me set up new tax codes when we go into other states. They have helped me create specific reports, and they send notifications to help keep us in compliance with state and federal law changes.

Our company uses WFN in all its capabilities. We use the payroll, benefits, the human capital, the document cloud, the onboarding, you name it, we use it. I am the main admin for the system and update all aspects of WFN for the company to use. We transitioned from a third-party payroll and the main issue was timely payroll and termination checks. The whole HR team loves working with WFN.
  • Their payroll module is amazing.
  • My current favorite is the onboarding module. It helps so much with documents for new hires and their basic payroll onboarding like direct deposit.
  • DocuCloud is another of my favorites because you have all documents in one place and don't have to go finding in different folders. You go straight to the employee and click on their doc file.
  • Under the things to do, there needs to be an easier and quicker way to click on all messages or notifications to mark them read.
  • On the holiday list, the system should allow for a change in the actual individual holiday when the holidays fluctuate, such as the 4th of July when it falls on Sat without messing with the prior years that have already passed. Or in the 2024 day after Thanksgiving.
  • On the talent side, the system always defaults to the screen of the person who used it last.
  • In payroll, the new Quickcalc can use some help.
ADP does very well with the payroll and benefits modules. They are always updating the system and making it better for our use.

We use WFN in full for all our payroll and HR needs. The biggest issue we face is that our system is not set up to support what we need. We do not have the option to track grants and have been told multiple times by multiple different people that something that should be very simple is impossible.
  • Friendly Customer Service.
  • The new home page is much easier to use and navigate compared to the classic view.
  • Quick to escalate problems with the software to tech support.
  • Unable to create the reports needed.
  • Has taken weeks to get someone to help me remap our GL.
  • Constantly being told no and or being transferred around to be told someone else handles it.
  • Not all associates know enough about the software to help with simple problems.
  • Training provided is not sufficient to complete tasks, too little detail.
ADP has improved the WFN experience in recent years, which is a great upgrade! However, there are some kinks that still need to be worked out, and very little assistance in working them out as most customer service don't know an answer or transfer you around until you hang up.

I enter new hires from the Hiring wizard; I enter all deduction codes from medical garnishments to our company-specific codes. I do all employee changes within WFN. I process payroll by entering in vacation, commissions, and Driver pay that are not on a full-time or part-time status (on-call, miles paid). I will also submit payroll if our Accounting supervisor is out. There are times after we have had them enter new information that some of our reports do not come through correctly, and we have to call support back to have those automatic reports regenerated (Payroll reports that come with running of payroll, set up at implementation.) They are usually quick to fix the issue and get it back online. At the first of the year, there is another file to upload to make our deduction codes load into ADP, and they are always happy to explain that.
  • Wizards for hiring/Terminating.
  • Lets you know if there is an error when processing payroll (missing punches etc.).
  • Keeps track of all the changes made through the payroll period and has a report for such.
  • When a garnishment has hit the 0.00 owed, it should delete the code from the deduction area automatically. Do not leave it sitting on the front page.
  • Same with other deduction codes that have a goal limit set to them.
At the previous employer I was at, we used Quickbooks first, then changed to Paycom. ADP is much simpler and easier to navigate, and the level of technology behind the product is larger than the prior two. I enjoy using the bridge to help me try to find my answer or dig through ADP on my own.

We use ADP for our HR and payroll. We are very new to the system, but so far, it has been good. We are still working through learning the systems, but we like that everything can be under one system and in one place for our employees.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Taxes.
  • HR onboarding.
  • There is so much information and possibilities that it can be very overwhelming, and it can sometimes be difficult to get a response to questions.
We have employees in a few different states. I really like that ADP will set up the Withholding and Unemployment for the states (with a fee, of course), but it is nice not to do that myself since every state is different. I wish it was easier to find my monthly and quarterly tax reports. It is very confusing.

We use ADP for our complete HRIS system, from job postings to onboarding, payroll, time and attendance, performance management, and even learning management. ADP has more capabilities than most other options. It is very broad in coverage for anything HR related.
  • Payroll Processing.
  • Job Postings/Onboarding.
  • Performance Management.
  • Customer Service.
  • Service Connect.
  • Service Requests.
  • Telephone Assistance.
ADP is an amazing HRIS platform that is capable of so many different things. Every module we use is awesome. The downfall is customer service. Getting accurate answers to questions, and sometimes even getting any answers, is very difficult. There is so much information at your fingertips when it comes to learning, which is amazing. But troubleshooting and issues on the backend are disappointing because of the lack of assistance.

We use everything from ATS and Onboarding through to payroll, time & attendance, and benefits administration. ADP WFN solves nearly the full suite of HR systems that we provide to our employees.
  • Payroll
  • Benefits Administration.
  • Garnishments
  • Tax Deposits.
  • Access to Account Manager.
  • Less expensive integration with outside ERP.
If you are a larger enterprise and need payroll and benefits admin, this is nearly a perfect fit. Smaller shops may experience some cost issues due to the robust size of the system, which does not always suit lower-revenue companies.

ADP is well suited for onboarding and especially if the information is properly entered. It's less appropriate if you are trying to get a message to another person within the company (like a text message to a superior.)

We use ADP for payroll and benefits services. For 2019 Open Enrollment, we implemented online enrollment through ADP, which was a great success. We are also working on implementing carrier connections between ADP and our benefit carriers. This will be such a huge asset when it is complete because it will reduce a ton of manual entering.
  • ADP is very good at communicating changes with their upgrades.
  • ADP is excellent at problem solving issues.
  • ADP does a tremendous job at their training.
  • The reporting could be more user-friendly.
ADP is well rounded in what they offer. It is great to be able to do everything we need in one platform. However, we are not even using ADP to its full extent at the moment. Since it has so many different features, we try to implement a new feature at least once a year.
