Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Dayforce is our company's North American HCM and talent management system. The system is used by all employees and also includes temporary workers for hours and headcount. Dayforce allows our US and Mexico locations to all be on the same system for better reporting and headcount tracking. The system is now our one-stop from recruiting to offboarding.
  • The integration of the different modules is great.
  • The ease of use for end-users and the Dayforce app are top-notch.
  • Having most aspects of HR available in one place and easy to get to is very helpful.
  • There are a lot of product gaps in the modules and core system that we've found. Some were counter to things we were told the system could do by Sales and our Implementation Analysts.
  • Support is slow to respond to cases and, in some instances, give incorrect information. Sending a note after a couple of days that the issue is being researched and then not responding for a week isn't sticking to the SLA agreement.
  • When issues are found with the system, or something breaks, we are charged to get it fixed. This seems like very poor customer service and nickel and diming the client.
  • While having the AHA site available for client suggestions, a huge number of the ideas submitted are related to things a solid HCM system should be able to do. The fact that the system isn't capable of it now and the idea must be "voted on" to get in the pipeline is very frustrating. Especially when you see items that are no brainers stilling for years with no movement.
If Dayforce can get their security and organization set up (including being able to add rows to an end date departments), and reporting modernized; I would recommend it in a heartbeat. Right now, the system is still much too immature and they don't have enough resources to get the needed fixes and enhancements into the system.

We use Dayforce across our whole organization - 6500 employees, across 3 states and 50 locations. In Dayforce, we have a main system of record for employee timekeeping, attendance tracking, scheduling, benefits, and payroll. Employees are able to view and manage their record through self-service and through the mobile app. Numerous employees have alternate work assignments, often with different rates of pay. Through Dayforce, we are able to process 1 payroll for all locations and blended rate overtime is calculated in the system.
  • Payroll - Dayforce has a comprehensive and yet easy to use payroll process. And now we don't have to be in the office to transmit payroll. Reports and downloads are available soon after commit.
  • Multiple Work Assignments - for ease of allocation to different cost centers, and for ease in reporting employees may have multiple work assignments - different jobs, different locations, different rates of pay. This allows for less time making journal entries in financials and payroll and general ledger are the same.
  • Tax and government reporting services - Ceridian has their own tax service which handles our tax filing, multi-work state reporting, unemployment wage reporting and new hire reporting with federal and state entities.
  • Timekeeping is not their niche! Not all time collection devices have same options or functionality as far as what can be added or hidden by customer. Pay rules, especially around meals/breaks and entitlements (PTO) are not as flexible/customer defined as needed.
  • Reporting is hard to understand and easily pull out what need without having an IT guru/database on board.
  • License tracking is not as good as it was in prior Ceridian platform. Licenses, e.g. Registered Nurse are not able to be required when building a job/position. Not a good place in the employee record to track full license information including license number and both effective and expiration dates. Therefore, if an employee has an expired license they would not be able to be scheduled, or clock into work. Reporting on this is also a challenge.
From a scheduling perspective, Dayforce is most likely well suited for a business that has set shift start and end times for all employees. It is not suitable for an organization with varied start times and flexible end times. It is better for a mostly salaried employee base than hourly. It is best that a large organization to have an established HRIS team before, during and after implementing Dayforce.

Dayforce is used by our company and its 6 subsidiaries. Dayforce provides a central location for our HR administration, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
  • The payroll module is very easy to use and processing happens quickly. You can immediately see the results and check an individual employees information to.
  • Can check to that all deductions, taxes and earnings are processed correctly.
  • The Benefits module is also a plus for Dayforce. Plans, enrollments and eligibility requirements can be set up quickly.
  • Another strength for Ceridian Dayforce is that they are constantly improving their product and listening to their customers on their needs.
  • The actual processing of benefits is a bit cumbersome, especially when an employee is making a change between plans. This also included the carrier feeds, which don't always work.
  • The system has some latency issues.
  • Support is not always helpful and with some issues, they are slow to resolve or provide a solution.
Ceridian Dayforce is well suited for most companies. We have a distribution company, 2 service companies and 3 manufacturing companies, and the system works well for all of them.

We currently use Ceridian Dayforce as our HR and payroll system for the US. We use it as a self-service system for employees and managers.
  • It's a good self-service tool for employees and managers.
  • Reliable connectivity.
  • Customer support.
  • Benefits administration is clunky and not user-friendly.
  • The core HR module is not entirely user-friendly.
Their customer service/support is severely lacking. I have used Ceridian for the last three years, and there has been little to no improvement in the area of customer support. We regularly have support tickets open for a month or longer, while reps are "researching" the issue. I do not always trust the answers/solutions that are provided. Service level is definitely not consistent, and is a gamble every time I open a new support ticket.

We use Ceridian Dayforce to process payroll, timesheet record-keeping, employee record-keeping, and managing employee benefits. It also is crucial in providing reports necessary for company accounting and various other areas of the business. We recently added a performance tracking module which allows both employees and supervisors to continually update progress and achievements made throughout the year. Our entire countrywide company uses Ceridian Dayforce. It makes things like onboarding a new employee located in California from Pennsylvania seamless!
  • Accurate timesheet records maintained by the system as well as the ability to manually make changes for unique situations that may occur for a single pay period.
  • Multiple facets for auditing records and payroll runs for accuracy.
  • Assistance and reference guides are easily accessible via email, online or over the phone. I've always had pleasant experiences in working with help center staff.
  • Navigating the report builder (outside of the existing cached report options) can be challenging.
  • It can take a lot of time and experience to really understand what one is seeing when working with the audit for a specific day's timesheet.
Ceridian Dayforce is the Cadillac of payroll software. It does more than I could have even imagined to support my company. Information is clear and accessible and it is very user-friendly.

Our company uses Dayforce for timekeeping and payroll processing. The entire organization uses the timekeeping aspect while only the payroll team uses the payroll module. Our payroll is very complex and Dayforce has done a good job on being able to accommodate our different/unique pay structures. Overall, Dayforce support has been able to address our issues as they come up.
  • Accommodating complex payrolls.
  • Customer service in urgent cases.
  • Contact for our Customer Success Manager is readily available.
  • Have more solutions that are corrected by customer support.
  • Fewer cases being moved to Professional Services.
  • The turnaround time with tax issues should be sped up.
  • Turnaround time for Professional Services should be quicker.
Ceridian is well suited for hands-on staff that understand a degree of programming. Personally, for me, I am able to follow sequences and understand and I like that. For members of my staff, it proves to be more difficult. Specifically, understanding our HR Import process and how to decode errors is something that I actually enjoy. However, I can see this as being a downside. I understand that Ceridian teaches us to use their system to control our environment but for others that have been exposed to other payroll processing software, it may not be as user-friendly.

We use it for HRIS and payroll, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll taxes, onboarding, timekeeping, Obamacare compliance, EEO compliance, document management, management reporting in regards to labor, W-2's, I-9's, exporting labor dollars to the general ledger, MBO tracking, bonus payments, hourly incentive pay tracking, and union issues regarding pay & dues, 401k interface & reporting, etc.
  • Payroll: because Ceridian Dayforce is able to customize its configuration to math both Union & Non-union work rules & pay practices.
  • Benefits Administration: again because of the configuration flexibility available from a stellar team.
  • Time & attendance tracking: it is an integrated solution.
  • It takes way too much time in adding new functionality and not making the current functionality work smoothly.
  • Nearly every release 'blows-up' some element of our instance, and we only discover it after some employee's pay or benefits are impacted.
  • Support is not staffed adequately to handle the issues that arise -- they often are forced to hand off issues to the developers or professional services, just so we can be charged 'big bucks' to fix their issues.
  • The benefits module costs more to maintain each year for open enrollment than it cost to set it up in the first place. A total 'bait & switch' blindsiding we never saw coming.
It's well-suited if you have a team of in-house developers in your IT department. It's not appropriate for mid-sized (i.e. 1,000 to 5,000 employee) sized companies with a limited in-house IT Staff. There are far too many issues sent to professional services where we get charged exorbitant fees to address. If switching to a new vendor was not such a hassle, I'd switch tomorrow.

Ceridian Dayforce is our sole HR Information System and data house. It is populated with all data information for employees. It is used to populate all kinds of reports, such as turnover, site by site information, regional information, etc.
  • Reporting.
  • Extremely user-friendly interface.
  • Configuration.
  • Support services.
  • All-encompassing reports.
Because it is so easily navigated, Ceridian is great for new users, whether they are good with technology or not. We have recently started to implement the onboarding module, and it is a great tool for new employees at our company to utilize both Dayforce and learn about our company.

Currently use it for our benefits, time management, and payroll. Used company-wide for managers and employees. Helps to have everything in one system and unified.
  • Before Ceridian, we were using three different systems. One for payroll, one for time and attendance, and another for HR. We had to import data from one system to another so there was the potential of data dropping off. We were able to combine three systems into one with Dayforce.
  • Clear and easy to use interface.
  • Reporting issues. Pulling the wrong data from timesheets/payroll.
  • System is slow and lags.
Great for employees to have access to update their own information, direct deposit, address, and contact information. Configuration is difficult. Issues with workflows/role management during integration needs to be done properly.

We use their timeclock system for a group of employees.
  • Informative data
  • Great implementation
  • Easy to use
  • A different person each time for customer assistance.
  • Not helpful with integration that would only benefit one customer.
  • More customers that are education-based.
Not so much for those not using all of Ceridian products.

Using it for HR and Payroll. For US and ROW employees.
  • Easy to Import/Export data.
  • Payroll is fast and easy.
  • Templates are easy to create.
  • Open access to system files.
  • Allow automated reports to go to an FTP site instead of email accounts.
  • Have better support to assist in XML, restful services and other tools. So far the support is not helpful or knowledgeable in those areas.
It is well suited in a mid-range environment. It is not user-friendly in a large scale area.

Ceridian is being used across the entire company from a time collection standpoint. We use the Work Force Management to collect time data. Our department managers utilize Dayforce to schedule, review and make staffing decisions based on their individual management level of access. The HR Department utilizes it daily in their everyday activities and Payroll is in Dayforce all day long. We are able to answer individual employee questions regarding payroll issues, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and enrollments. We are able to calculate a pay run at anytime and provide financial data to the Finance department for cash management and to allow us to give employees answers to "what if" situations
  • Real time calculations when needed and the ability to test any new feature when they are rolled out in the Test Environment.
  • The ability to calculate and run any number of payrolls and not be charged for each run. You pay only a monthly fee and can run any number you want to when you need to.
  • Reporting has greatly improved and almost every item can be reported on.
  • Training is provided for all levels of employee. Manager to clerk. It is available and it is comprehensive but very user friendly.
  • Support is now greatly improved and you can reach your support team at all times
  • You have an assigned Tax Consultant who can be reached and works on your issues when necessary
  • Even though reporting is good it still needs a little more functionality. The training is good but it could be better
  • The "AH HA" portal where ideas are shared and suggestions are made by clients could be acted upon sooner than they are. I have a suggestion that is coming up on it's 2nd birthday and has been marked that it will be considered for implementation. This area needs more resources applied here.
  • They need to make the termination process work a bit more streamlined in that the time sheet should not be available to edit once the employee is marked terminated in the Dayforce profile.
For processing it is wonderful from an ability to calculate at any time and see how any feature added to the profile affects the payroll. From a time import when an employee is termed hours that are marked as paid by the system still import to be paid and this can cause overpaid wages if you are not aware of the issue and don't check for "terminated" hours.

We use Dayforce across the whole organization. Dayforce has addressed the problem of using paper for all changes. We are now paperless and have more audit trails.
  • Dayforce provides alternate routes for communication between managers and their team members with conversations - Outside of your typical email.
  • Dayforce is on its way to become more user friendly and less manual. Every upgrade I'm noticing more steps getting eliminated in certain processes and different sections in Dayforce are talking to each other.
  • Dayforce is on it's way to improving the recruiting module. Candidates and recruiters are having a better experience as the system is providing a more user friendly site. Recruiters are provided more options to organize and pull candidate pools.
  • Dayforce PEOPLE section currently does not house employee files. This is a major problem for our organization.
  • Have a more user friendly route to read PTO balances for employees.
  • The ability to print out all pay stubs at one time, rather than have to go through every one to print out.
  • Ceridian can improve on the time frame ideas are put into the aha portal and implemented. There are so many ideas that are intended to build and the date of submission was from a year or two ago.
I placed a 7 because it seems things are always breaking. Every hotfix or upgrade something goes wrong that affects the whole organization, then to fix what was working fine but now broken takes until the next upgrade.

All employees in our organization use Ceridian Dayforce HCM. Employees use Ceridian Dayforce HCM as a time clock, to access timesheets, and to track payroll. Employees can access the software via their desktops or tablet to complete whatever task they need to. Most hourly employees have access to clock in via this software can also view their payroll stubs. Our HRM Department also uses it to upload forms for us to access when we need to make important changes to our personal data. The software also provides a wizard for healthcare enrollment which every employee can utilize when they have a life changing event or during open enrollment. The system also allows employees to view their current healthcare benefits and personal information such as the personal address on file for each employee. We were previously unable to track actual hours worked because we did not have a system to track an employee's working hours. We were also able to combine 3 different systems into one system by implementing this software.
  • Using Ceridian Dayforce HCM for time clock purposes works very well for our organization. For users who do not have access to a desktop or laptop computer, we've been able to give the access by placing iPads strategically around our organization where employees can easily access them. The software allows users to log in using a username and password or by using their badge number and a personal ID number. This allows the user to pick whatever method is most convenient for them. Hourly employees can view their timesheets and request that their manager/supervisor make edits if a correction is needed. Managers and Supervisors can edit and approve timesheets for the employees they manage before submitting them to our Payroll Department for processing.
  • The healthcare enrollment wizard that we used in Ceridian Dayforce HCM was also very straightforward and easy to use. Every employee received a notification when they logged into the system telling them that they were eligible for annual enrollment and were provided with a link to click that took them straight to the enrollment wizard. All of the healthcare plans, as well as detailed information about each plan, was available within the system wizard so we didn't have to log out or switch programs in order to get information that we needed. If a mistake was made or if a selection needed clarification, our HR Department could send us a notification within Dayforce telling us to review our selections. We also received confirmations immediately after enrollment instead of having to wait days for HR to tell us that they received our benefits enrollment packages
  • Being able to view our timesheets in real-time is a benefit that I truly appreciate. There were times in the past where I couldn't remember if I clocked out for the day or lunch and I could immediately log into Dayforce, view my timesheet, and enter a note under the day the mistake was made. My boss would get an automatic notification that I've submitted an error for my timesheet and he can approve or deny the request and make the corrections as necessary. It also helps me track my hours worked so I won't go over if there is a ban on overtime or I can work more hours if it looks like I won't get 40 hours for the week.
  • I honestly don't see any areas where Ceridian Dayforce HCM needs any improvement. The system works, it's easy to use, and doesn't provide any issues with our network or other programs. It took about 2 months to get all of our data imported before we could go love. The time period was only long because our HRM Department chose to manually input the data into the system instead of importing it. If we imported the data it would of been only a few weeks for implementation before we could go live.
  • I will warn users in the Payroll Department that we had issues with getting the correct figures to display on our W-2's. We had to issue corrected w-2 forms twice, but this was not due to the system making a mistake. The error was caused by users of the software in our Payroll Department. The software did exactly what it was supposed to do, but the user in charge of creating the W-2's was not following directions and kept inputting the wrong information.
  • Ceridian Dayforce HCM requires the use of Silverlight when using Internet Explorer. Whenever we choose to upgrade Dayforce and push out the updated version to our users, we have to update IE and Silverlight as well. Sometimes you will get a false message stating that Silverlight needs an update when it's really IE and vice versa. We solved the problem by updating both IE and Silverlight for all users. We hope that we won't have to do this for every upgrade we decide to push out to our users.
Ceridian Dayforce HCM is well suited for timekeeping and payroll management. It automatically tracks each punch-in and you can designate whether you're clocking out for a meal, to switch jobs, or to end your day. Sometimes our maintenance workers have to fill-in and do the job of another individual such as a plumber assisting an electrician in digging a hole that the electrician needs to complete an assignment. Through Dayforce the plumber's supervisor can track how many hours the plumber spent doing his own job or assisting others with work that needed completion. All hours are automatically tracked and need a supervisor's approval before it gets submitted to payroll so there are less mistakes made in regards to hours worked and how much compensation an employee should get.

Orvis utilizes Dayforce for HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Scheduling and Recruiting. We employee 1750 employees in the United States and 215 employees in the United Kingdom. Dayforce is a cloud-based single application which eliminated the need for the multiple interfaces we used with our old systems. It has greatly approved our employee and manager self-service experience with the use of mobile technology and data readily available through its robust reporting capabilities.
  • Dayforce is easy to learn and easy to operate. It gives employees control of their data with anytime access, and helps us make sure our employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • With data stored in a single, central location, we get data-driven insights across all HR and Payroll functions so we can make better decisions for the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Payroll is calculated continuously throughout the pay period, giving my payroll team the time they need to produce accurate and timely pay.
  • One specific area of improvement would be with WFM (Time and Attendance) where we could get a snapshot of weekly/biweekly timecard totals without having to scroll through the detailed "Pay" totals.
  • Because our company pays different hourly amounts to employees for holiday pay based on their FT/PT status, we would like to see the hours appear in the time card totals without having to go to the "Pay" tab to confirm.
  • System Security settings should include the ability to grant access to hourly and/or salaried employees. This would eliminate the need for unneeded configuration to prohibit some manager level employees from seeing salaried associates.
Dayforce is a single application with robust capabilities that empowers our workforce with access to their personal information including schedules, timesheets, pay statements, benefit elections, etc with most available through mobile technology.

Ceridian is being used across the company in our retail locations, distribution centers, and corporate offices. It solves the problem of manual schedules and timesheets in corporate and DCs and solves for the various different solutions that we were using by being one platform.
  • Innovative - always seeking to improve and get user feedback
  • Support - provides support as needed for any issues or questions
  • engaging - provide customers the opportunity to weigh in on new features and products to get end user point of view
  • Communication - It can be lacking, especially from the implementation team.
  • Role based functionality - puts some limits on what can be done.
  • reporting - we have had to build many custom reports
Well suited for scheduling and timesheets.

Dayforce was implemented company-wide to address time tracking, payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, HR workflow management and performance reviews. It is used by all levels of employees.
  • Real time updates to payroll
  • Latest updates always included in costs
  • Able to track time independently when an employee has more than one position.
  • Report creation tool takes effort to learn
Dayforce is a great all-in-one product. It works best in companies that are able to use the technology. It is not well suited for companies that prefer paper processes.

Dayforce is being used primarily as an HR and Payroll system across our organization. All employees use Dayforce to some extent. All new hires use Dayforce to enter information for Payroll purposes. The majority of employees also use it for Benefits selection, Timekeeping, and reporting life events. Managers use Dayforce to track time, leave, and performance. Department Administrators use Dayforce for reporting, budgeting, hiring/terminations, pay changes, and other employee related tasks. Administration uses Dayforce for some HR functions, all timekeeping, payroll, and benefits.

Dayforce addresses the timekeeping problems we had as well as helps us to comply with appropriate Payroll directives and accurately pay our people. We are expanding into the HR realm with Benefits, Recruiting, and Performance Management. It is helping us address processes that have been very different across our departments in regards to the employee life span - from hiring to terminations. It is helping us streamline and pull our processes together in a comprehensive way.
  • One single platform was a game changer for us. The continuous calculation of pay changed the way our payroll and benefits office does business. The time it has saved in calculating and auditing changes is great.
  • Dayforce looks at the entire employee experience from both an employee and employer's perspective and meets both expectations. Employees are getting what they need and stayed engaged through Dayforce. Managers, administrators, and executives can get the level of detail they want/need to help them make informed decisions
  • Scalability. As our organization has grown from 800 employees when we first implemented Dayforce to over 1350 employees now, Dayforce has grown with us. And not only in the number of employees, but growth of our organizational structure. We've added locations, cost centers, and processes. Dayforce has kept up and allowed to to make these changes with relative ease.
  • The HTML roll out to replace Silverlight has been somewhat difficult for us. In a few areas, namely MyPay/Payroll and MyHR/People, we have had a more difficult time adapting and finding the same functionality we had before. More of a learning curve, but still "uncomfortable" nonetheless.
Dayforce is well suited to an employee-centric organization. One where the workforce is mobile, spread out, or at least on the go. Coming from a service organization perspective, 90% of your expenses are labor costs. Dayforce is a great service in these scenarios. On the other hand, if an company is small with a minimum number of employees, Ceridian may not be the best option.

We are using Ceridian Dayforce company-wide. We just started using Dayforce for our UK payroll. We are using the systems of time and attendance, benefits, payroll, recruiting, soon onboarding, hr, reporting, as well as many more areas.
  • The reporting tool is great. I am able to run and create reports and pull data in all areas of the system.
  • Setting up benefit plans is very user-friendly. Also when creating the benefits forms it is very easy and user-friendly.
  • The customer support needs more improvement. When I put tickets in it takes a long time to get someone assigned.
The benefits set up is great

We needed a solution to combine our HRIS system with one of our three payroll processes. We also needed to give access to employees in one company access to their employees in another company. Dayforce HCM gave us the seamless integration we were seeking!
  • For the first time our managers have access to their employees in a another company. They can see timesheets, payroll submissions and basic data whereas before they had to reach out to payroll for answers.
  • Combines timekeeping, recordkeeping and benefits all under one login.
  • We love the online form submission process that reduces paper waste.
  • The reporting tool isn't as user-friendly as I would like. It's difficult building our own reports and we have to rely on Ceridian building them for us... at an additional cost.
  • Nothing is "free" with Ceridian. Everything extra costs something.
  • The way HR Policies are captured in Onboarding doesn't allow a print of the form that was digitally signed along with the signature and date signed.
Ceridian has been able to effectively manage our multiple corporation setup while keeping the feel of internal transfers.

Dayforce HCM is being used by payroll, HR, and benefits as the system of record. It addresses payroll needs, Human resource from new hire process on. It also addresses our HRIS needs, onboarding (which is totally electronic) and all benefits administration as well as open enrollment. We process payroll for Canada as well and issue ROEs.
  • Dayforce handles payroll very well. Ease of operation, employee maintenance, reviewing payroll prior to finalizing, auditing, and submitting.
  • Dayforce is easily configured for electronic (paperless) onboarding. You are in full control of documents, compliance, and routing of workflows.
  • There is a streamlined approach to adding entitlements such as specific sick pay being implemented by cities and states across the U.S.
  • Dayforce handles the new hires/ rehire process extremely well.
  • Dayforce’s manager and employee self service tool with workflows is unsurpassed.
  • Some improvement is needed in the reporting arena. There is still some difficulty in ad-hoc reporting and merging different tables for one report.
I believe it is best suited for under 10,000 employees or mid market. It suits our needs, however I can’t see it being used in a manufacturing environment. Since we do not utilize it’s time keeping system, I’m not quite sure how it would handle the intricacies of labor contracts and pay scales.

Ceridian Dayforce is currently being used in my organization by all departments across our Portland and New York office. We plan on implementing it in all other remaining offices within the next year, so we can use this in all of our offices soon.
  • System administrators can request backfills when a backup environment is needed. If one is not needed, backfills are not routine. This allows administrators to only backfill what is needed.
  • Ceridian Dayforce is mobile friendly, which allows administrators to respond to urgent needs as long as we have our devices with us.
  • User roles can be customized and immediately viewable by the employee effected.
  • Multiple actions/reasons cannot be entered on the same date. This requires the employer to pick which is more important to reflect in the system.
  • Workflow features cannot be limited to certain people by location.
  • The compensation module doesn't allow managers to make suggestions and go back and forth.
I think Ceridian would be great for offices where the HRIS team is under the same umbrella. If a company has several offices and is operating globally, the primary HRIS team is unable to control confidential information visibility in another office if they are given access. For example, my company has 4 offices currently on Ceridian Dayforce. I want to give all HR administrators access to workflow, but if I do this they will have access to salary information in all of the offices. This is not recommended, as some of our offices are global, and they should not be able to see salary information in the HQ office.

Across the whole organization, we currently utilize Dayforce for time and attendance, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, year-end reporting, performance, HR, and reporting. Dayforce helps combine all these services into 1 system, while we were previously using more than 10 different SAAS solutions. Dayforce support was and is a key element of our success of using the system.
  • Dashboards - This module collects all your data and puts them into charts/graphs for the higher ups.
  • Reporting - Scheduling, customizing, and using existing templates has been a great tool for us to forecast for our onboarding department and HR.
  • Roles - This determines the access level from your front line staff to your executive team. Enabling features is much easier to configure.
  • Benefits.
  • Cannot customize pre-built forms.
  • Performance management.
Ceridian Dayforce support was a huge part of understanding how the system works. The Dayforce Implementation Guide was also a great reference to use when trying to troubleshoot.

We use Dayforce company-wide to help with recruiting, employee engagement, and payroll and HR. It helps us give our users (employees) access to a wide range of information in one place as well as contains the data we need in day to day operations.
  • Ease of finding information.
  • Keeping a database of past applicants in the talent community.
  • Frequent updates to add new features.
  • Some changes in updates are hard to adjust to.
  • Configuring reports can be tricky.
  • Implementing new modules can take longer than necessary.
Dayforce is great to access employee information and have data at the tip of your fingertips. It is sometimes hard to navigate between different areas that aren't well-integrated, but it isn't a huge challenge.

Dayforce is used across our organization. It's our primary system for managing employee data, recruiting, scheduling, tracking time, completing required forms, and processing payroll.
  • Mobile app
  • Recruiting
  • Schedules
  • Messaging
  • Shift-trading
We implemented Dayforce in 2014 and have slowly been building our system out to have a one-stop shop for payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, onboarding, recruiting, and even team collaboration all in one place! So far, so good, and user adoption across our organization has improved, given Dayforce's user-friendly design.
