Khoros has been great for collaborating across teams with several channels in a global organisation like ours. The platform makes it easy to plan and schedule posts. The customer service is also fast and reliable, problems are generally rectified quickly.

The export calendar function isn't great as you only see the first couple of words of each post, and no images. When I need to show the monthly calendar to the boss it would be useful to be able to export a more comprehensive view of what's coming up - this means I have to keep a separate calendar externally.

I think Khoros Marketing works excellent when it comes to collaborating with team members, clearly seeing who made edits when, and being able to hold users accountable for any changes, edits, or updates. For social marketing specifically, it is a great place to have all content in one place and have it as a source of truth for other team members hoping to see what we have planned. However, with the limited number of seats included with our plan, which is already pricey, it is difficult for everyone who needs access to have an account. We also have had many issues with the platform not updating, lagging, or other support issues with log-in information (not getting a security code) or the site itself freezing and closing down.

Khoros Marketing is great for scheduling social posts ahead of time. The calendar really gives you a clear visibility of everything that's going on. I like how it shows you a breakdown of the full week or of the full month.

Well suited for scheduling social content to multiple channels, which really helps save a lot of time. It's not as good for distributing content that may need to be edited or recalled to multiple users, because once those users get ahold of the content it's out of your hands completely. Overall, though, it is a pretty good tool for scheduling social content.

Khoros Marketing is well suited when it comes to managing several social media channels at one time, e.g. scheduling content on Instagram and Facebook, and Youtube at the same time or scheduling content on social media channels for different Facebook accounts (different markets and countries). It also provides us with analytics as needed e.g. analytics for all channels together or only one. Khoros Marketing is less appropriate when it comes to interaction through the channels e.g. reacting to comments on Facebook or replying to messages because we have different accounts working on the same channel which makes it hard to track whether the comment or message is already has been taken care of and of whom.

If you are only managing one brand with multiple channels, then you don't need a robust system such as Khoros. Products like Khoros are set up for companies that own and manage multiple brands and channels as it easily allows you to create and schedule content to multiple channels within one platform. You can easily toggle between brands within the platform as well as quickly see analytics with built in reports (or create your own!).

Great for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Not so great when it comes to direct messaging on Twitter and Instagram. The setting limitations often make it more difficult for us to communicate with clients because if they have their settings blocked, we are unable to get through in Khoros. It would be beneficial if the app was able to communicate synonymously across all channels.

Since we've never benchmarked performance on our social channels month over month, or even YoY for our annual events, the Analytics component has proved to be invaluable to the entire organization. Data tells the story, and we were long overdue for being able to tell the story. It is less appropriate for social listening and monitoring but I believe this is due to API limitations with each social network.

Khoros Marketing is well suited to publishing and managing access for both simple and complex social team setups. It works for single teams managing multiple channels and centralizing activity for organizations with social teams spread across business units that need a single point of entry for managing social channels. Marketing works well for simple customer care that does not require a lot of automation or tracking of care metrics. It is not suited for a sophisticated customer care operation. The Khoros Care product is needed for that.

Khoros Marketing is well suited in order to manage daily work and to organize calendars and campaigns inside the platform. It has turned out to really help how the teams are working in one single environment instead of exchanging email with CSV files in order to manage content. It helps us also to tag the content we post in order to track the efficiency of our social media actions.

It appears that Khoros would work for any medium-large business as its functionality is very comprehensive. There are a plethora of features that could help a business scale and take its social media engagement and analytics to another level. It is probably not as appropriate for small businesses due to the cost.

The approval workflows have really helped the team become more efficient when posting, and the analytics platform has become an essential part of our reporting to internal stakeholders. The social listening features aren't as strong, especially if you want to monitor outside of your own mentions, DMs, or replies to your updates.

Khoros Marketing is great for an organization that does a lot of social posts, has a lot of social channels, and may have multiple internal marketing team members that are working on the same projects. Khoros Marketing also is very detailed in the reports it is able to pull for social metrics.

For anything related to posting to social media channels, I think Spredfast is the best, they also provide a really robust social reporting platform. I would say it's not really appropriate if you are a small organization and you only need to post to social channels. It's a very expensive platform, and it is great for a large organization with a lot of social channels, but it's too expensive for a small company for sure.

Khoros is well suited in providing a reliable, organized outlet in conversations to schedule and publish content. In addition, it is well-suited in providing analytical insights, however it would be helpful for more insights on Instagram + paid posts. An integration with newer social platforms (TikTok, Clubhouse, etc.) would also be needed.

Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium) is the best option I've found for publishing. Its interface is intuitive, so it's easy to learn. It's easy to set up an approval process for quality control. It also has the most publishing options and most robust API integrations that I've seen from a publishing platform of this kind.

We do not like it as well for listening and care, but we use another Khoros product for that (Care). We are looking forward to a time when the two products can be integrated into one dashboard or view.

Khoros is great for large organizations or agencies with multiple channels and pages to manage. I don't think it would be good for small business owners who are only managing a handle of pages. It's a great enterprise tool and they are always making improvements. Customer service and support is getting better and they've made a lot of strides over the last year.
