For the most part, things are pretty fast. I have imported lists of more than 20,000 individuals in under a couple of minutes. Sometimes exporting lists can take longer, but this is to be expected. Most reports I run are fairly small and can be generated quickly, which I appreciate.

The system can slow down based on the number of leads in your database but that number has to get pretty high before you start to see an decline in performance (couple million+). Overall, the software runs seamlessly with very rare/if any system wide issues. It is much better than HubSpot in that sense. I've experienced several "functions unavailable" messages from HubSpot in the past.

Pages are slow sometime, most;y on weekends.
Marketo have very good thirty party integration features. The SFDC integration is really helpful. In addition, integration with on24 is good, helps in easy execution of webinars

There are times when it is slightly slow for us, where we sit on a screen waiting for it to load. This could be our internet since we have had the same issue occasionally with other systems, but it is enough to make you crazy.

This question is really dependent upon how big your database is slated to be in Marketo. If you have a smaller lead database and are using Marketo on a smaller scale I would say the performance will be top notched. As your database starts to increase the performance slightly dips due to the depth of your system. However, during the spring 2016 update Marketo released information regarding Project Orion which will vastly increase the performance of Marketo at any tier you may be in.

As already indicated, performance has been a major issue for us . Despite the fact that our implementation is somewhat unique and may be responsible for some of the performance issues, this is a problem that many other Marketo users with standard implementations also suffer from.
