Using it for HR and Payroll. For US and ROW employees.
  • Easy to Import/Export data.
  • Payroll is fast and easy.
  • Templates are easy to create.
  • Open access to system files.
  • Allow automated reports to go to an FTP site instead of email accounts.
  • Have better support to assist in XML, restful services and other tools. So far the support is not helpful or knowledgeable in those areas.
It is well suited in a mid-range environment. It is not user-friendly in a large scale area.

We use Ceridian Dayforce for the entire organization within two legal entities. We have been trying to modify the configurations to meet our business needs due to the original set up was incomplete or some modules were not being used but we need its function. Such as we don't have GL automated and we don't have a Group Benefit module in Dayforce. Therefore, we are using manual handling as if back to a ten-year-old payroll system. I myself had a fully automated payroll system experience for seven years and self-helped to file T4s directly to CRA or upload ROEs to Service Canada without relying on providers. The system I used since 2012 was QHR Quadrant with auto journalized GL for each pay cycle completed as well as automatically admin group benefit premium settings up the grid in employees' profile. With Dayforce we still manually key in various premium one by one to individuals. Therefore, I was quite surprised when I joined SCI in Sept 2018 and found using Dayforce quite outdated. Later, I figured out that the modules were not equipped well before we went live with production. No comment for Ceridian IA or former payroll, but I look forward to innovating the SCI environment by changing lots of configurations in Dayforce. Our CFO fully supported my ideas. We are still working on them and have requested quotes in the past six months from Ceridian. Unfortunately, we have not received a complete offer to our satisfaction—so pending without conclusion!
  • We appreciate the Reporting team, did a great job.
  • We appreciate some support specialists with great help and patience.
  • We have a chance to approach different support specialists in different countries and we found that communications were easy with Ceridian supporting teams.
  • Dayforce is quite powerful. We hope that the support specialists are experts in their products and provide us valuable suggestions or solutions.
  • We found that each company had their own set up (like make your own pizza). Support specialists should be patient to learn clients' environment and offer help.
  • Knowing the product (Dayforce) and knowing clients' needs, clients can fully make use of Dayforce features. We found that lots of configurations weren't turned on.
  • We'll follow what Dayforce could perform, try to utilize its functions in our environment. We hope to create a relaxed environment at SCI after mandatory set up is fully completed.
  • Some application specialists were not showing their patience and tried to rush the cases.
In general, 80% of application specialists we communicated with, are very supportive. The rest of the 20% did not provide professional support in our experience. The Dayforce product is powerful, we'll like to learn to use it, especially the reporting area that is our favorite part to use this system.

Ceridian is our payroll/HR system that is being used across the organization. All employees and managers have access for time and attendance. It integrates HR and payroll allowing for CSOX compliance
  • Web based so as long as you have Silverlight, it can be accessed anywhere.
  • Recruitment module resume repository as well as sorting and filtering of resumes.
  • Team Relate is quite unique and accurate.
  • System is very unstable. Resumes in the recruiting module take a long time to load, kicked out of the system during workflow processing.
  • Reports are just a data dump. Very difficult to actually produce unless you are intimate with all the various parts of the system (HR and Payroll).
  • Not user friendly for employees and managers. They get error messages without any details. Very complicated for the employee to change the address and
  • Recently the employee's ability to enter new banking information has disappeared. Overall not easy to use unless you have ha formal training or are on the
  • System as part of your role every day.
  • Customer service support is inconsistent and lacking in knowledge of how the system actually works. Can take upwards of a month to have an issue resolved. Knowledge center information is almost non existent, so you are forced to log an issue ticket and await support.
Ceridian is well suited for a small, uncomplicated organization that doesn't require employees to log time, and doesn't require many reports.

Dayforce is being used by the whole organization. It's mainly used for onboarding/recruiting, scheduling, payroll and benefits.
  • WFM Timesheets- more user friendly such as employee balances, audits, shift trading, etc. works well
  • Document Explorer- Paperless system
  • Benefit Set up- Easy to manage from administrator perspective and works well for the most part
  • Instability- configurations/set up changes without warnings; something that has been working well in the past stops working without warnings. Challenging to keep up to date.
  • Reporting- some of the standard payroll reports are missing such as employer paid CPP/EI; year over year analysis based on the actual work location not by primary work location.
  • Hours are paid without having manager's approvals which causes quite a bit heavy management for payroll admin to chase managers for approvals. We have clinics all over the city and province and payroll does not manage clinic staff so manager approvals should be mandatory before payroll does the final approvals.

Workflow between HR and Payroll works quite well. Instead of emailing or providing us the hard copies on new hire forms, change forms etc., HR can submit these through the system for payroll processing.

Benefit set up works well from start to finish. As long as the configuration and rates are set up correctly, system applies the benefit plan such as family/single and deducts the premiums accordingly. We have had few hiccups for about a year where things were changing on their own and creating problems however it seems to have been improved.

Payroll Previews help review payroll before finalizing.

It is being used by HR and the company to track hours of employee and projects. Handles all aspects of HR, payroll, recruiting etc.
  • Timesheets
  • Payroll processing
  • Onboarding
  • Compensation management
  • Document management and the link to notes
We can customize almost all of it and it works well for what we need for, sometimes the system is to big and over thinks what we need to have done. Streamlines documents.

It is used by HR for process and management of Payroll, Employee Entitlements, Benefits and Total Rewards. Employees across the agency use it for time away requests and to manage their account such as address or banking changes.
  • Payroll
  • Vacation, Sick Days, other leave management
  • Benefits
  • Pension Plan
  • Custom Reports
  • Maintain employee history
  • Employees changing status from contract to casual for purpose of payment and ROEs
  • Managing entitlements for employees employed on a contract
  • Managing termination dates
  • Well suited to accomodate a multitude of employee variables; union vs. non union, entitlements, part-time, full-time, contract and month-to-month employment.
  • Less suited for employees on a contract less than one year because system defaults to 12 month calculation for entitlements.
  • Vacation days to be paid out need to be calculated manually based on monthly accrual to the specific contract duration.

Ceridian is being used across the entire company from a time collection standpoint. We use the Work Force Management to collect time data. Our department managers utilize Dayforce to schedule, review and make staffing decisions based on their individual management level of access. The HR Department utilizes it daily in their everyday activities and Payroll is in Dayforce all day long. We are able to answer individual employee questions regarding payroll issues, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and enrollments. We are able to calculate a pay run at anytime and provide financial data to the Finance department for cash management and to allow us to give employees answers to "what if" situations
  • Real time calculations when needed and the ability to test any new feature when they are rolled out in the Test Environment.
  • The ability to calculate and run any number of payrolls and not be charged for each run. You pay only a monthly fee and can run any number you want to when you need to.
  • Reporting has greatly improved and almost every item can be reported on.
  • Training is provided for all levels of employee. Manager to clerk. It is available and it is comprehensive but very user friendly.
  • Support is now greatly improved and you can reach your support team at all times
  • You have an assigned Tax Consultant who can be reached and works on your issues when necessary
  • Even though reporting is good it still needs a little more functionality. The training is good but it could be better
  • The "AH HA" portal where ideas are shared and suggestions are made by clients could be acted upon sooner than they are. I have a suggestion that is coming up on it's 2nd birthday and has been marked that it will be considered for implementation. This area needs more resources applied here.
  • They need to make the termination process work a bit more streamlined in that the time sheet should not be available to edit once the employee is marked terminated in the Dayforce profile.
For processing it is wonderful from an ability to calculate at any time and see how any feature added to the profile affects the payroll. From a time import when an employee is termed hours that are marked as paid by the system still import to be paid and this can cause overpaid wages if you are not aware of the issue and don't check for "terminated" hours.

It is used throughout our organization for timesheets, scheduling (in most departments), payroll and benefits. We have two departments that use an outside scheduler because that portion of the system isn't robust enough for our large teams (30+). All employees clock in/out using the mobile app or one of four webclocks in the building. This integrates well with our payroll and benefits administration modules to make for seamless processing.
  • Timesheet management is easy to use/manage for employees and managers
  • Support on payroll questions has been amazing; they either walk you through step by step in an online meeting or send detailed instructions of how to do things
  • Flexibility in types of time clocks available for employees to use is great
  • HR data is easy to manage in one spot with the ability to limit who can see what information by manager type
  • Scheduling for large teams is difficult. It takes too many clicks to add schedules and the shift trading functionality isn't user-friendly enough for high volumes.
  • Managers can't see shift trades that happen within the current week and employees can't change availability with the current two weeks.
  • Would love to have the ability to import schedules easily from an outside scheduling program such as When2Work.
Dayforce is very flexible and easy to use for timesheet management and HR data, but is lacking for managing schedules for large teams. We use an outside scheduler for our aquatic team that has 90 staff who trade shifts on a daily basis in high volumes. Our smaller teams are able to trade shifts within Dayforce without issue (except only HR can see trades in the current week), but the larger volume teams aren't able to effectively make that portion work efficiently.

We're using Ceridian Dayforce across the whole organization. I don't think it really addresses any problems, it's just an HRIS system that does what we need it to, but it is by far not anything that's groundbreaking or anything I consider truly incredible. I've used other HRIS systems in the past that were far easier to navigate, more intuitive and had better support systems attached to them.
  • The implementation team was good.
  • Most areas could use improvement; however one of the biggest issues (recently) is pro-rating deduction rates for employees who get termed in the middle of a pay period. For example, our pay periods run the 1st of the month through the 15th and then the 16th through the last day of the month, if an employee is termed on the 6th of the month, they should only be charged for their benefits through their last date of employment, not for the entirety of the pay period. At this point in time I've had open cases regarding this, talked to support staff and have been told the system does not have the sophistication to do this on its own so I have to manually calculate and override the rates on payroll - VERY annoying and such a hassle. When handling payroll for 600+ employees, the last thing I need is a manual process thrown into the mix.
  • I've heard from our managers across the field concerns with a lot of issues (and I agree) regarding time approvals. The fact that there is no email alert that can be setup for when an employee completes their timesheet is very annoying and requires, yet again, a manual step on my end to create an email to send to all hourly employees and their managers prior to each payroll run to ensure their timesheets are completed with accuracy and on time. I've also had quite a few managers complain about how the timesheets look and the overall approval system. It's not as user-friendly as it seems from the surface.
  • Support is not the best. I've had to wait for over a week on a response to a case that it flagged as high priority. The people I've talked to when I call in sound like they're looking up my described issue in a manual trying to find the possible problem and spit-balling what the solution may or may not be. I don't feel like anyone truly understands the ins and outs of the system in a sophisticated way so that they can truly speak to how things work and how to work on a solution.
Again, I truly don't think there are a lot of areas where Ceridian Dayforce is "well suited" most areas could use VAST improvements. I would say our implementation went well, but thinking back we had numerous issues with members of the implementation team, and suffered issues for months after our go-live. We requested to have the lead on our implementation on-site for our first payroll (a cost we were willing to pay ourselves) and were told no by her supervisor. I felt like after our go-live we were left in the dust. Our only priority during implementation was to get the payroll part up and running correctly (which we still faced issues with), but no one ever took the time to show us the intricacies of the site - what reports to run for varying purposes; how to create a custom report; how to add positions/locations/etc (all things figured out after implementation on our own). I think there is a lot of room for improvement in the functionality of the system and overall sophistication of some of the different intricacies of the overall site.

Dayforce is used to keep track of time and attendance and evaluation entries. Benefits and open enrollment is also completed through the system. Payroll is another reason Dayforce is used. It is used amongst managers, employees, and admin. Problems that are addressed are timesheets that are not authorized or payments over the threshold amount are pointed out to us in advanced.
  • Dayforce calculates the benefit amounts of newly enrolled employees. Amounts are particularly important so that employees are not charged inaccurately.
  • Dayforce provides help support that connects with our business in time to meet payroll committing deadlines based on priority.
  • I am pleased to see the many area of reports that are available and the detailed amount of information that can be customized to our needs.
  • In the time sheets, clock in and break hours in the Calendar and Pay tab do not match up. It would be less of a hassle to adjust the hours were the same instead of one being correct.
  • When benefits are adjusted in Benefits Management the benefit amounts do not automatically calculate to reflect the corrected benefit amount.
  • Still using Silverlight.
Dayforce has many forms of business appropriate uses for managers, employees, and administrators but there are many behind the scenes of setting up that has to use technical support. This takes time do be prepared to have the business system take a hit on time to set up and or transfer from a previous system. If there is no backup plan to keeping the payroll, and files in order to think twice before switching.

Ceridian Dayforce is used on a daily basis by the whole organization to see paystubs, year end forms and time off requests. Payroll uses Dayforce on a daily basis for everything payroll related.
  • Dayforce is wonderful for payroll management.
  • It is easy to view pay statements and tax forms.
  • It decreases the amount of time we need to get payroll done
  • Sometimes it is difficult for employees to find how to request time off.
  • Reports are not always versatile. You are sometimes limited to how you want to see some data.
  • Still some glitches in the system and this requires call to Dayforce help line.
Using the timesheets in Dayforce allows me to track hours and time off faster and more efficiently then prior payroll systems. I enjoy being able to see everything at once including total hours for each employee. Also the comment field in the timesheets allows us to track information for time off all in one place instead of emails that do not always get shared.

Dayforce is used as the HR management software for my firm. We use it to manage all payroll functions and for day-off requests. Dayforce is also used for performance management which has been really helpful in knowing how I am doing on a quarterly basis. It addresses this problem specifically, as I am better informed on my progress and the problem of having centralized software that is only used for a single function.
  • Great tool for performance management.
  • Centralized software for all my needs.
  • Very user-friendly.
  • The mobile app looks great and functions exceptionally well, especially the fingerprint sign-in option!
  • Nothing to note!
It is well suited for all companies in performing their payroll management and day-off requests, as well as providing performance updates. I would recommend this software to large or small companies.

We use Dayforce across the whole organization. Dayforce has addressed the problem of using paper for all changes. We are now paperless and have more audit trails.
  • Dayforce provides alternate routes for communication between managers and their team members with conversations - Outside of your typical email.
  • Dayforce is on its way to become more user friendly and less manual. Every upgrade I'm noticing more steps getting eliminated in certain processes and different sections in Dayforce are talking to each other.
  • Dayforce is on it's way to improving the recruiting module. Candidates and recruiters are having a better experience as the system is providing a more user friendly site. Recruiters are provided more options to organize and pull candidate pools.
  • Dayforce PEOPLE section currently does not house employee files. This is a major problem for our organization.
  • Have a more user friendly route to read PTO balances for employees.
  • The ability to print out all pay stubs at one time, rather than have to go through every one to print out.
  • Ceridian can improve on the time frame ideas are put into the aha portal and implemented. There are so many ideas that are intended to build and the date of submission was from a year or two ago.
I placed a 7 because it seems things are always breaking. Every hotfix or upgrade something goes wrong that affects the whole organization, then to fix what was working fine but now broken takes until the next upgrade.

All employees in our organization use Ceridian Dayforce HCM. Employees use Ceridian Dayforce HCM as a time clock, to access timesheets, and to track payroll. Employees can access the software via their desktops or tablet to complete whatever task they need to. Most hourly employees have access to clock in via this software can also view their payroll stubs. Our HRM Department also uses it to upload forms for us to access when we need to make important changes to our personal data. The software also provides a wizard for healthcare enrollment which every employee can utilize when they have a life changing event or during open enrollment. The system also allows employees to view their current healthcare benefits and personal information such as the personal address on file for each employee. We were previously unable to track actual hours worked because we did not have a system to track an employee's working hours. We were also able to combine 3 different systems into one system by implementing this software.
  • Using Ceridian Dayforce HCM for time clock purposes works very well for our organization. For users who do not have access to a desktop or laptop computer, we've been able to give the access by placing iPads strategically around our organization where employees can easily access them. The software allows users to log in using a username and password or by using their badge number and a personal ID number. This allows the user to pick whatever method is most convenient for them. Hourly employees can view their timesheets and request that their manager/supervisor make edits if a correction is needed. Managers and Supervisors can edit and approve timesheets for the employees they manage before submitting them to our Payroll Department for processing.
  • The healthcare enrollment wizard that we used in Ceridian Dayforce HCM was also very straightforward and easy to use. Every employee received a notification when they logged into the system telling them that they were eligible for annual enrollment and were provided with a link to click that took them straight to the enrollment wizard. All of the healthcare plans, as well as detailed information about each plan, was available within the system wizard so we didn't have to log out or switch programs in order to get information that we needed. If a mistake was made or if a selection needed clarification, our HR Department could send us a notification within Dayforce telling us to review our selections. We also received confirmations immediately after enrollment instead of having to wait days for HR to tell us that they received our benefits enrollment packages
  • Being able to view our timesheets in real-time is a benefit that I truly appreciate. There were times in the past where I couldn't remember if I clocked out for the day or lunch and I could immediately log into Dayforce, view my timesheet, and enter a note under the day the mistake was made. My boss would get an automatic notification that I've submitted an error for my timesheet and he can approve or deny the request and make the corrections as necessary. It also helps me track my hours worked so I won't go over if there is a ban on overtime or I can work more hours if it looks like I won't get 40 hours for the week.
  • I honestly don't see any areas where Ceridian Dayforce HCM needs any improvement. The system works, it's easy to use, and doesn't provide any issues with our network or other programs. It took about 2 months to get all of our data imported before we could go love. The time period was only long because our HRM Department chose to manually input the data into the system instead of importing it. If we imported the data it would of been only a few weeks for implementation before we could go live.
  • I will warn users in the Payroll Department that we had issues with getting the correct figures to display on our W-2's. We had to issue corrected w-2 forms twice, but this was not due to the system making a mistake. The error was caused by users of the software in our Payroll Department. The software did exactly what it was supposed to do, but the user in charge of creating the W-2's was not following directions and kept inputting the wrong information.
  • Ceridian Dayforce HCM requires the use of Silverlight when using Internet Explorer. Whenever we choose to upgrade Dayforce and push out the updated version to our users, we have to update IE and Silverlight as well. Sometimes you will get a false message stating that Silverlight needs an update when it's really IE and vice versa. We solved the problem by updating both IE and Silverlight for all users. We hope that we won't have to do this for every upgrade we decide to push out to our users.
Ceridian Dayforce HCM is well suited for timekeeping and payroll management. It automatically tracks each punch-in and you can designate whether you're clocking out for a meal, to switch jobs, or to end your day. Sometimes our maintenance workers have to fill-in and do the job of another individual such as a plumber assisting an electrician in digging a hole that the electrician needs to complete an assignment. Through Dayforce the plumber's supervisor can track how many hours the plumber spent doing his own job or assisting others with work that needed completion. All hours are automatically tracked and need a supervisor's approval before it gets submitted to payroll so there are less mistakes made in regards to hours worked and how much compensation an employee should get.

Orvis utilizes Dayforce for HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Scheduling and Recruiting. We employee 1750 employees in the United States and 215 employees in the United Kingdom. Dayforce is a cloud-based single application which eliminated the need for the multiple interfaces we used with our old systems. It has greatly approved our employee and manager self-service experience with the use of mobile technology and data readily available through its robust reporting capabilities.
  • Dayforce is easy to learn and easy to operate. It gives employees control of their data with anytime access, and helps us make sure our employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • With data stored in a single, central location, we get data-driven insights across all HR and Payroll functions so we can make better decisions for the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Payroll is calculated continuously throughout the pay period, giving my payroll team the time they need to produce accurate and timely pay.
  • One specific area of improvement would be with WFM (Time and Attendance) where we could get a snapshot of weekly/biweekly timecard totals without having to scroll through the detailed "Pay" totals.
  • Because our company pays different hourly amounts to employees for holiday pay based on their FT/PT status, we would like to see the hours appear in the time card totals without having to go to the "Pay" tab to confirm.
  • System Security settings should include the ability to grant access to hourly and/or salaried employees. This would eliminate the need for unneeded configuration to prohibit some manager level employees from seeing salaried associates.
Dayforce is a single application with robust capabilities that empowers our workforce with access to their personal information including schedules, timesheets, pay statements, benefit elections, etc with most available through mobile technology.

Ceridian Dayforce is used by our whole organization from benefits to payroll to time keeping. We enjoy the simplicity of having 1 platform and hope to incorporate more components, such as recruiting and performance mgt in the future.
  • Online benefits enrollment - our employees can now choose their elections anytime as opposed to meeting 1:1 with a benefits counselor.
  • Benefits carrier feeds - frees up my time so I don’t have to enter new hires and terms.
  • When we 1st implemented, the recruiting module was not up to par- the resumes were so small and couldn’t be read.
Unfortunately for our company, our implementation team (on the employer side) did not set up our org structure correctly. This has led to some disappointments and we are currently discussing how to address them.

Ceridian is being used across the company in our retail locations, distribution centers, and corporate offices. It solves the problem of manual schedules and timesheets in corporate and DCs and solves for the various different solutions that we were using by being one platform.
  • Innovative - always seeking to improve and get user feedback
  • Support - provides support as needed for any issues or questions
  • engaging - provide customers the opportunity to weigh in on new features and products to get end user point of view
  • Communication - It can be lacking, especially from the implementation team.
  • Role based functionality - puts some limits on what can be done.
  • reporting - we have had to build many custom reports
Well suited for scheduling and timesheets.

We use the Dayforce program for payroll, benefits, and WFM. Our entire company uses Dayforce - for timesheets, PTO, and many other things.
  • Timesheets are great and the use of the app for our employees is important
  • Paying all employees automatically added
  • Not having to touch every single employee every time!
  • Employees being able to reset their own passwords if they have their accounts and alerts set up correctly!
  • Employees original login should be a bit simpler!
  • Reports - not super user-friendly!
  • Need more and more and more in reporting!
  • Taxes! Very different from HPW - still learning after a year on Dayforce!
We would be drowning in a payroll river if it wasn’t for Dayforce! Our company has grown and grown and Dayforce has made it simple and manageable most of the time!

We are using Dayforce for My HR, Payroll, and WFM and we are using this product across Canada in 6 of our plants and our head office.
  • I am very pleased and satisfied with the Ceridian Dayforce support team. They are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.
  • Very excited that Payroll is able to provide constant calculation
  • I am very pleased with the Training Guides that allow me to create my own Balances and Entitlements
  • I would like to have a field for a primary manager, especially when an employee has 3 to 4 managers that they report to at any time. Having 3 to 4 managers per employee shows duplicate rows when reporting.
I am very pleased to have the constant calculation feature in the Payroll module. The schedules and timesheets seem to be working well for our company.

Dayforce was implemented company-wide to address time tracking, payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, HR workflow management and performance reviews. It is used by all levels of employees.
  • Real time updates to payroll
  • Latest updates always included in costs
  • Able to track time independently when an employee has more than one position.
  • Report creation tool takes effort to learn
Dayforce is a great all-in-one product. It works best in companies that are able to use the technology. It is not well suited for companies that prefer paper processes.

Dayforce HCM is used for our payroll, HR, time sheets and scheduling of our 9 companies. This is a time saving tool that helps me do my job in an efficient and timely matter. Do our review for our stores is quick and easy.

Dayforce HCM makes my job easier and quicker

  • Payroll system is very easy to use.
  • The app for Dayforce keeps our employees up to date on their schedules.
  • MyHR is easy to use and enter new employees.
  • The customer service needs work.
  • Tech support has some issues with back log on incidents.
  • Too many updates that don't always help, cause more issues with the system.
  • They are improving the customer service with each new update.

We are having issues with getting anyone to answer our incidents.

They are getting better at reviewing the issues that we have out standing, but they still have some issues that need to be worked on.

They have worked on the their response time, and have improved over the last couple of years.

Dayforce is being used primarily as an HR and Payroll system across our organization. All employees use Dayforce to some extent. All new hires use Dayforce to enter information for Payroll purposes. The majority of employees also use it for Benefits selection, Timekeeping, and reporting life events. Managers use Dayforce to track time, leave, and performance. Department Administrators use Dayforce for reporting, budgeting, hiring/terminations, pay changes, and other employee related tasks. Administration uses Dayforce for some HR functions, all timekeeping, payroll, and benefits.

Dayforce addresses the timekeeping problems we had as well as helps us to comply with appropriate Payroll directives and accurately pay our people. We are expanding into the HR realm with Benefits, Recruiting, and Performance Management. It is helping us address processes that have been very different across our departments in regards to the employee life span - from hiring to terminations. It is helping us streamline and pull our processes together in a comprehensive way.
  • One single platform was a game changer for us. The continuous calculation of pay changed the way our payroll and benefits office does business. The time it has saved in calculating and auditing changes is great.
  • Dayforce looks at the entire employee experience from both an employee and employer's perspective and meets both expectations. Employees are getting what they need and stayed engaged through Dayforce. Managers, administrators, and executives can get the level of detail they want/need to help them make informed decisions
  • Scalability. As our organization has grown from 800 employees when we first implemented Dayforce to over 1350 employees now, Dayforce has grown with us. And not only in the number of employees, but growth of our organizational structure. We've added locations, cost centers, and processes. Dayforce has kept up and allowed to to make these changes with relative ease.
  • The HTML roll out to replace Silverlight has been somewhat difficult for us. In a few areas, namely MyPay/Payroll and MyHR/People, we have had a more difficult time adapting and finding the same functionality we had before. More of a learning curve, but still "uncomfortable" nonetheless.
Dayforce is well suited to an employee-centric organization. One where the workforce is mobile, spread out, or at least on the go. Coming from a service organization perspective, 90% of your expenses are labor costs. Dayforce is a great service in these scenarios. On the other hand, if an company is small with a minimum number of employees, Ceridian may not be the best option.
