We use Khoros to schedule social media posts for country accounts on multiple channels globally. This includes using the Intelligence module to monitor activity relating to the company. We also use the Care module to monitor and reply to direct messages across multiple social platforms.
  • Khoros makes scheduling posts for several different channels very easy. The calendar is a great way to see an overview of upcoming content and gaps in the schedule.
  • The Care module allows us to communicate via direct messages and see the history of communications with a social media user.
  • We've implemented an approval process within Khoros so that multiple users can submit posts for the comms team to approve before they're published.
  • On the analytics module, the impressions for Twitter don't pull through.
  • We can't copy scheduled posts directly to other initiatives i.e. from UK to Europe.
  • When creating a post, sometimes when I add media, the text window becomes obscured so I can no longer see the post copy I'm writing.
Khoros has been great for collaborating across teams with several channels in a global organisation like ours. The platform makes it easy to plan and schedule posts. The customer service is also fast and reliable, problems are generally rectified quickly.

The export calendar function isn't great as you only see the first couple of words of each post, and no images. When I need to show the monthly calendar to the boss it would be useful to be able to export a more comprehensive view of what's coming up - this means I have to keep a separate calendar externally.

We utilize Khoros Marketing to create our social content calendar, working across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Khoros Marketing has remained our source of truth for scheduling content, approving content, labeling content as different categories/campaigns, and providing a super-easy overview of day-to-day social plans. It is an easy place for us all to see what is still needed for posts, working with our design partners and copy team to make sure all pieces of content are final and ready to post.
  • Notes section for key points for team members
  • Being able to look back at when edits were made and by who
  • Overall content calendar view by day, across channels
  • TikTok capability within the platform
  • Posting Reels/video through Khoros Marketing
  • Tagging product and users on image for Instagram specifically
  • Quicker refresh as the calendar lags quite often unless refreshing every 2 minutes
I think Khoros Marketing works excellent when it comes to collaborating with team members, clearly seeing who made edits when, and being able to hold users accountable for any changes, edits, or updates. For social marketing specifically, it is a great place to have all content in one place and have it as a source of truth for other team members hoping to see what we have planned. However, with the limited number of seats included with our plan, which is already pricey, it is difficult for everyone who needs access to have an account. We also have had many issues with the platform not updating, lagging, or other support issues with log-in information (not getting a security code) or the site itself freezing and closing down.

I use Khoros Marketing for my daily social media posting. Since my company runs two entities, I divided them into two different initiatives within the program and the process for posting for both has been very smooth. Khoros is very user friendly! I schedule posts for 4 different social networks at a time and they made it so easy to link all of the accounts beforehand. I also love the in depth analytics it provides such as impressions and engagement.
  • Accurate social posts scheduling times.
  • In depth analytics provided.
  • Easy to use app for posting on the go.
  • When I need to post two or more pictures on Instagram, I'd like to not have to publish it through the mobile app.
  • I'd like to see analytics for Video Viewers and Video Time Watched on LinkedIn posts. Currently, those analytics for the videos that I have posted show up as N/A.
  • I wish you could edit Instagram Reels on here.
Khoros Marketing is great for scheduling social posts ahead of time. The calendar really gives you a clear visibility of everything that's going on. I like how it shows you a breakdown of the full week or of the full month.

Distributing social posts to our facilities
  • Sending social posts to multiple users
  • Housing content in the content center all users can access
  • Analytics and tracking how posts are being used
  • Accounts constantly becoming unathenticated
  • Sometimes not being able to recall a post
  • Having to publish content to IG separately
Well suited for scheduling social content to multiple channels, which really helps save a lot of time. It's not as good for distributing content that may need to be edited or recalled to multiple users, because once those users get ahold of the content it's out of your hands completely. Overall, though, it is a pretty good tool for scheduling social content.

We use Khoros Marketing for our social media coordination. Using Khoros Marketing enables us to schedule our social media posts for every channel. As we have different markets urging for different needs, Khoros Marketing helps us coordinate each individual social media performance for each market no matter how much they differ from each other and no matter for which social media channel. This gives us a good opportunity to align all markets and keep consistency in our overall social media performance as a company. In addition, Khoros Marketing provides us with essential analytics which helps us improve our social media performance and adapt to current trends.
  • possibility to schedule social media content for every channel
  • providing analytics of essential informations to be able to track KPIs
  • providing overview of several social media channels
  • no need for a login with a verification code everytime
  • targeting function for Facebook is not supported by some accounts
  • When Facebook accounts are wrongly disconnected from Khoros by the system, it is difficult to solve this problem when multiple accounts are linked together
  • Error messages often do not contain understandable or helpful troubleshooting information
Khoros Marketing is well suited when it comes to managing several social media channels at one time, e.g. scheduling content on Instagram and Facebook, and Youtube at the same time or scheduling content on social media channels for different Facebook accounts (different markets and countries). It also provides us with analytics as needed e.g. analytics for all channels together or only one. Khoros Marketing is less appropriate when it comes to interaction through the channels e.g. reacting to comments on Facebook or replying to messages because we have different accounts working on the same channel which makes it hard to track whether the comment or message is already has been taken care of and of whom.

I'm considered a power user within my company and work in the platform every day for 10+ brands within one of the subsidiaries of my company with each of those brands utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. I create all content and schedule it via the Khoros marketing platform. I'm a huge fan of the plans feature within the platform as it allows be to easily track, report and do quick analysis of how particular content is performing. While my company also uses the Care side of the Khoros platform, I keep a close eye on the Marketing Inboxes within Khoros to see what followers may be saying about the content that I am creating. Previous to Khoros, I would have had to manually track a lot of the work that I am doing within one platform.
  • Inbox streams.
  • Marketing plans.
  • Calendar views.
  • Not as easy to post to Instagram.
  • Posting GIFs to Facebook displays as static image.
  • Quote tweeting in Twitter.
If you are only managing one brand with multiple channels, then you don't need a robust system such as Khoros. Products like Khoros are set up for companies that own and manage multiple brands and channels as it easily allows you to create and schedule content to multiple channels within one platform. You can easily toggle between brands within the platform as well as quickly see analytics with built in reports (or create your own!).

Our team leverages Khoros Marketing to plan our social media across multiple channels. It allows us to amplify our voice seamlessly. We work with LinkedIn extensively; and as a smaller organization, it helps us establish our thought leadership in the corporate gifting space. Khoros has been a useful tool for our team.
  • Plan social media posts.
  • Clear and comprehensive calendar.
  • It's easy to organize content.
  • It's challenging to scrape images from existing content.
  • Images can be overly cropped for mobile.
Khoros is well suited for organizing content across multiple platforms. It allows you a clear platform to build your social media presence.

We utilize this tool to ensure that our 23 brands' social can be seen on one platform.
  • show content
  • allow access for direct marketing and communication
  • allow content to be published real time
  • allow for direct messaging on Instagram
  • allow private settings to not alter communication on platform
  • allow for certain content like "noise" to be eliminated.
  • not separate streams and content
Great for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Not so great when it comes to direct messaging on Twitter and Instagram. The setting limitations often make it more difficult for us to communicate with clients because if they have their settings blocked, we are unable to get through in Khoros. It would be beneficial if the app was able to communicate synonymously across all channels.

I use Khoros Marketing primarily for marketing analytics/reporting. As the Social Media Analyst, part of my role includes reporting each month on the performance of our corporate and president's social media accounts. Prior to joining the company, we never had any benchmarks established. We can seamlessly identify what did and didn't work--i.e., understand what our fans/followers like and dislike. I also use the Khoros Inbox to create search streams, monitor hashtagged content, and engage when applicable. The Khoros Inbox also allows me to make sure items are tagged correctly for reporting purposes. However, the most vital piece to the platform is the collaboration it allows across our department, as most of us work remotely in different states.
  • Monitor the conversations that are taking place around our brand (instances where people aren't tagging us or speaking directly TO us, but rather what they are saying ABOUT us)
  • Ease of pulling analytics/reporting together and the overall presentation of the data
  • Provides a holistic view of content scheduled/published with robust filters
  • One-stop shop for all things social. Planning, publishing, content gallery, reporting, monitoring, engagement/community management, cross-team collaboration
  • Resource center can be extremely confusing and difficult to navigate
  • Improved functionality and capabilities with LinkedIn
  • Ability to create search-based streams for platforms other than just Twitter
Since we've never benchmarked performance on our social channels month over month, or even YoY for our annual events, the Analytics component has proved to be invaluable to the entire organization. Data tells the story, and we were long overdue for being able to tell the story. It is less appropriate for social listening and monitoring but I believe this is due to API limitations with each social network.

We use Khoros Marketing for managing social channel access across business units and agency teams, publishing content to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, measuring content performance, and customer care (proactive engagement, customer service).
  • Publishing social content
  • Tracking post and channel performance
  • Social customer care
  • Continuous improvement
  • building more connections between care, marketing and intelligence
  • easier management of mobile first social channels
  • quicker to market with emerging channels
Khoros Marketing is well suited to publishing and managing access for both simple and complex social team setups. It works for single teams managing multiple channels and centralizing activity for organizations with social teams spread across business units that need a single point of entry for managing social channels. Marketing works well for simple customer care that does not require a lot of automation or tracking of care metrics. It is not suited for a sophisticated customer care operation. The Khoros Care product is needed for that.

It's been a year now that we use Khoros in our company. It has helped us to simplify the daily work of our team and also simplify workflow between different countries. We have now deployed Khoros around 20 entities and we will continue to deploy more entities in the next year. The ability to create initiatives with different roles permissions and roles has helped us a lot!
  • Planning Calendar
  • Workflow with different teams
  • Manage roles and permissions in an international ecosystem
  • Analytics
  • More publishing format specially for LinkedIn
  • Advertising
Khoros Marketing is well suited in order to manage daily work and to organize calendars and campaigns inside the platform. It has turned out to really help how the teams are working in one single environment instead of exchanging email with CSV files in order to manage content. It helps us also to tag the content we post in order to track the efficiency of our social media actions.

We use Inox daily to manage all of our social media interactions. The product allows us to communicate with our followers in a simple and effective way. We interact with our followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, and YouTube and can easily create streams and notes to manage our daily workload.
  • Streams
  • Engagement history
  • Notes
  • Unable to see number of items in a stream
  • Load more conversations link does not work
It appears that Khoros would work for any medium-large business as its functionality is very comprehensive. There are a plethora of features that could help a business scale and take its social media engagement and analytics to another level. It is probably not as appropriate for small businesses due to the cost.

I currently use Khoros Marketing to schedule social media content across a number of social channels and then use the data that Khoros Marketing pulls in from these posts to make strategic decisions for content creation and timing going forward.
  • Scheduling content.
  • Communication w/ other team members on specific content.
  • Analytic reports.
  • Pulling in mentions and tags.
  • Being able to add notes in the post for other approvers.
Khoros Marketing is great for an organization that does a lot of social posts, has a lot of social channels, and may have multiple internal marketing team members that are working on the same projects. Khoros Marketing also is very detailed in the reports it is able to pull for social metrics.

Spredfast really helped us with reporting on social analytics, it also really helped our organization with posting to our social channels. Previously I was posting everything organically through each social platform, but being able to post the all in one place really helped me save time.
  • Social analytics.
  • Social content posting.
  • Social listening.
  • Posting to Pinterest.
  • Assigning tasks to another person.
For anything related to posting to social media channels, I think Spredfast is the best, they also provide a really robust social reporting platform. I would say it's not really appropriate if you are a small organization and you only need to post to social channels. It's a very expensive platform, and it is great for a large organization with a lot of social channels, but it's too expensive for a small company for sure.

We use it to post our social media content (copy, pictures, videos), to target a specific audience, and to follow performance data. This way, we can easily find every post we made in the past, file posts by subject or theme, and use these tags to get data reports.
  • Filing system.
  • Targeting audience.
  • Give a status on the posting progress.
  • Can't post on every social media platform.
  • Data reports are hard to create and import.
  • Overview of the upcoming posts is not user-friendly.

We have used Khoros Marketing for 2 years, for our B2C and Corporate Social Media Communications, across the whole organization. The central social media team produces the editorial line and contents. The market correspondents adapt, translate, and publish the posts. We use Khoros as a publishing and processing tool for the translations and coordination between the central and market teams.
  • The calendar is really useful for us.
  • Analytics are the base for our perfect reviews.
  • Inbox for community management.
  • The configuration possibilities, including approvals.
  • Some social media formats (IG stories for example) publications.

We use Khoros Marketing across my organization. I love it because it is so easy to use and our customer success director is the best! He is so responsive and feels like he is part of the team. I know Khoros has our best interest at heart, always open to feedback and keeping us in the loop regarding updates being made to the platform. Through using Khoros, we are able to mitigate the risk associated with social media by ensuring everything goes through a proper approval process.
  • Open communication between Khoros and our organization.
  • Easy to use
  • Always evolving
  • More paid features (currently API limitation).

We use Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium) in several ways, including daily publishing, content scheduling, and for insights and intelligence. The team I work on relies on the product on a daily basis. Our team primarily uses it, but other departments across the company, including CX, have a use for it as well. This software allows us to successfully schedule content and pull insights.
  • Great customer service --always a quick response from someone happy to help!
  • Great team development from success managers--we are always in the loop about new products and features and given the opportunity to learn about new products.
  • I would love to see further growth in the intelligence platform.
  • Mobile access can be a bit tough and the app can be a little glitchy.

We are using Khoros to manage the publication of content across our social media and customer service channels, in addition to utilizing the platform for social analytics. We also use the Intelligence platform to check share of voice and other aspects of the company in the social space. It is used by the Social Media, Content, and Customer Service departments at our organization. It addresses problems in gathering social analytics and providing us a secure platform to publish and house content.
  • Provides constant new software updates + features.
  • Monthly check-ins for updates on new features/in-person troubleshooting.
  • Fast, reliable troubleshooting help.
  • Organized, easy to use conversations platform.
  • Providing paid analytics in the platform.
  • Implementation of TikTok.
  • More detailed Instagram reporting.
Khoros is well suited in providing a reliable, organized outlet in conversations to schedule and publish content. In addition, it is well-suited in providing analytical insights, however it would be helpful for more insights on Instagram + paid posts. An integration with newer social platforms (TikTok, Clubhouse, etc.) would also be needed.

At Midco, we use Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium) to streamline social media publishing done by the marketing department. Marketing allows us to collaborate with stakeholders in other departments, such as our colleagues in our company's sports network. We have 14 social media accounts and can control them all from one dashboard with Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium).
  • Ease of publishing/scheduling
  • Easy approval/queue process
  • Campaign organization
  • Labeling for analytics
  • Robust analytics
  • Publishing to stories (not available)
  • Publishing GIFs to Facebook (they get posted as a still image)
  • Ability to sponsor posts/create ads within platform (hopefully coming soon)
Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium) is the best option I've found for publishing. Its interface is intuitive, so it's easy to learn. It's easy to set up an approval process for quality control. It also has the most publishing options and most robust API integrations that I've seen from a publishing platform of this kind.

We do not like it as well for listening and care, but we use another Khoros product for that (Care). We are looking forward to a time when the two products can be integrated into one dashboard or view.

Our social team currently uses Khoros for social media management and analytics. It helps us collaborate as a team and easily pull metrics for all of our global pages. We can easily pull quick analytics for our stakeholders and allows our community managers to manager their time more effectively and not spend all day posting to 32 different accounts.
  • The new marketing dashboards make pulling my monthly reports for execs super easy.
  • Scheduling is super easy for our social channels. We have a lot of pages and Khoros Marketing makes it easy to schedule for the team.
  • Customer care is great! They are always there when I have a question or a problem and work hard to help me find a solution. Alex, our CSM, is amazing and helpful.
  • Training modules need to be updated. Khoros can be overwhelming when you first start using it. Trainings didn't have the same UX so a lot of things I needed were lost.
  • Analytics tools are good but not great. There is a lag and sometimes data doesn't add up to the native analytics. Wish that Twitter data was more robust.
  • Historical data is hard to find or get. You can only go back so far and sometimes, I need data from further out. I'd like to use Spredfast exclusively to make sure our reporting is consistent but it's hard to do that when you have limits.
  • Wish there was more integration of Reddit.
Khoros is great for large organizations or agencies with multiple channels and pages to manage. I don't think it would be good for small business owners who are only managing a handle of pages. It's a great enterprise tool and they are always making improvements. Customer service and support is getting better and they've made a lot of strides over the last year.
