All of my tasks are there - also we save there all links related to the task (final analysis, deck, link to data etc.)
  • Organizing tasks
  • connection to google drive
  • notifications and rules
  • need to add code format
  • MacBook app doesn't work as good
  • Need option pool tasks from public board to personal board
For the most part, it works extremely well and is very helpful - I just need an option for code format so I can save my code inside of a task

We use monday.com to track all of our Jobs details. It plays a major role as our CRM, job calendar, and as our financial records. The way we can customize it to fit our needs is what we like the best. We have used other PM sites before and monday.com by far meets our needs the most. The way we can put all our project details in one place eliminates the needs for paper job folders.
  • Customizations
  • Automations
  • templates
  • Adding a option to convert so spanish
  • Could be cheaper for enterprise options
  • Ability to edit the font on the items
monday.com is well suited for all our needs. We have been able to overcome any issues and make the functions work for us. We don't think that monday.com is good for invoicing but with some enhances we can get it done.

monday.com is a critical tool in our project management and work flow. We can easily communicate to each other by showing the status of tasks and by assigning tasks. It prevents the little tasks from being overlooked or forgotten, and allows the management team to see when progress has stalled on larger ones. Using monday.com helps break down huge projects into smaller pieces, whilst still seeing the big picture. We are able to use monday.com to capture work completed for those who work remotely.
  • Ability to customise
  • It looks good!
  • Easily convert information to other forms (excel, graphs etc)
  • I find it doesn't always pick up every keystroke. I don't have the issue with any other program
  • I can't think of anything else!
Well suited: project management, progress reports, managing work from home, work flow and delegation, sales leads, CRM.

Less Appropriate- can't think of much. It's pretty customisable so I haven't yet found a function that it wasn't able to be manipulated into being a solution for. monday.com is pretty great overall!

I use Monday.com for project management and content planning. Our whole SEO department's workflow is managed through monday.com. The system helps us keep track of the multiple project statuses, plan our day-to-day activities, collaborate, get feedback, and establish priorities. It's been extremely helpful in helping us get more visibility into how our department is run and the areas of improvement.
  • Project status overview
  • Asynchronous collaboration
  • Day-to-day planning
  • Content planning
  • automation for tags
  • faster loading time for widgets, views, dashboards
  • more automation for due dates/overdue dates to increase visibility into completion rates
I've used Monday.com for 2+ years but started to use it heavily in the last 3 months, and it's been paramount to our project management and increasing visibility into the performance of the whole department. I get visibility into each team member's workload and bandwidth so I can assign new projects without overloading my team. We check Monday.com for project statuses, progress, and completion rates. We collaborate asynchronously and keep a paper trail for all our deliverables. I love the increased visibility and the high-level overview of the whole department.

We use it to keep track of the shooting session we have around the country. Is a great way to keep posted all the stakeholders in order to have data such as location, client's name, main areas to shoot, etc. Also, it is great to keep track of more specific details such as shooting problems, and expenses.
  • Automatization of emails
  • Board for a easy topview
  • Notifications are awesome
  • Formulas and Calculations
  • Integration with sheets
  • Tag guest and create groups of guests
It is great for small companies to keep track of key activities and to bring all the platforms in a single solution. People that have never worked with monday.com are a little resistant at beginning but little by little they start loving it and using it on their own.

We use Monday.com to organize our tasks/jobs that need to be assigned to employees and get completed. We use the date feature to keep track of the timing that jobs come in and are completed. We attach all our correspondence with employees and clients to this board. It is easy to see what has been completed and what communication has been made with our clients. I would love to see a place for multiple email receptions - so that you do not have to find and attach other email addresses to your email messages.
  • We love the status bar and use many status labels for each employee.
  • The sort and filter capabilities are great. We sort by status and filter by client name or employee name. 'Tis a great feature.
  • The comment section is done well. It is easy to see what others are doing and sending, etc. It makes it easy to keep track of where we are in our service process.
  • Linking boards - there could be a few more options. Also, since we linked a prospective client board to our active job board, we always get a warning when we want to archive a job that is completed.
  • Link multiple email addresses to one email tab. It would be nice to send email to more than one person.
In our busy accounting firm, we find that Monday.com helps us stay organized and on top of our workload. As our clients need work done, we are able to list all jobs in one place. We can prioritize jobs, assign jobs to employees, give status updates on jobs, and even attach correspondence with clients via email or text. Every employee in our firm has access to our main task board, and communication between us is very transparent and easy. We love Monday.com.

I use Monday.com to monitor deliverables and assign tasks/subtasks. We have a variety of projects that run in tandem, so this also allows me to prioritize accordingly.
  • It allows me to create a Gantt chart with just one click.
  • Enables sub-tasks to be assigned to specific individuals, alongside the projects itself having a different assignor or assignee.
  • Allows me to attach files to specific projects or deliverables for ease of access and viewing.
  • I would like to be able to create sub-tasks for my sub-tasks - this would allow me to get even more granular with assignments and additional deliverables.
I really like the organization Monday.com provides its users. It's easy to prioritize, assign tasks, and attach documents. I also love the ability to add a touch of color to my projects/deliverables--this makes things especially easy to differentiate in a Gantt chart view and at a quick glance. I would like to see the ability to get even more granular with sub-tasks, as some sub-tasks have additional deliverables, so to be able to break them down at another level would be great! Thank you for such an awesome product overall; I'm a very satisfied user!

As a boutique human performance consulting firm we have used monday.com as our platform for all parts of the business, from Business Development, Recruitment, managing Clients and their project, Resource Management, HR/Onboarding, internal project management, time keeping and Operations. Our infrastructure is fully integrated into monday.com and we try to use all available features to keep us connected and work asynchronously as an organization. We are a fully remote organization so having the ability to focus on tasks that matter instead of spending meetings on status updates, project executions and timelines we are able to connect as an organization because of the power of monday.com.
  • Create a one stop shop for our entre team to see what is happening on any part of the business at one given time.
  • We are able to manage our Business Development pipeline from initial conversation all the way through to the end of the project lifecycle where we wrap up the project.
  • Manage and track our contractors, their projects, rates and availability.
  • Completely automated (besides the interviews) applicant tracking system and onboarding process.
  • Custom columns templates. The ability to not edit custom columns is quite cumbersome and make it hard to use, since things change all the time, having the ability to edit (as an admin) the columns and they are changed throughout the system would be game changing
  • Better reporting. Its a great reporting dashboard and recognize that is not completely monday.com's purpose, but its not always intuitive especially for new users and would like to be able to use more identifiers/factors to build out the dashboards. Also I have a ticket open for this but the skewing of data on the dashboard is a frequent occurrence in my organization
  • Gantt and Timeline (similar to dashboards) are a little funky to manage
  • Continued security customization is always nice
  • Chat feature within monday.com- We have a lot of clients who are guests and we would love to have the ability 'Chat" with them (outside the update bubbles) Doesn't have to be a complete design like teams but maybe every board has the ability to add a chat widget that guests could access.
  • Improve some of the formula and connect column functionality without having to create MAKE scenarios or alot backend work
  • Documentation of our workflows. We have a very complex system and its hard to see how everything connects
Complex accounting and finance work would still need to be improved on monday.com, but also recognize that is not the purpose. Honestly there hasn't been a situation as as small consulting business where we haven't used monday.com in some capacity. Our organization is run completely off of monday.com and we continuously are looking for ways to add and improve as our company matures. Every aspect of our business is on monday.com and it really makes our consulting lives so easy to communicate and connect.

We use monday.com to organize all of our projects and keep everyone on our team up to date on where everyone is at on our current tasks. monday.com makes it easy to stay in contact with everyone and let them know when steps in a project are complete.
  • Task Tracking
  • Team Communication
  • Project Organization
  • Archival of old groups and items
monday.com is well suited for project management for projects that have a lot of moving parts and tasks that need assigned to different team members. You can have a task that can have it's tasks easily tracked by all of the team and create simple notifications to let everyone know where the project currently is.

I have used monday.com for three years for my own business and for my clients. It's a game changer and we manage everything on there. Implementing solutions that save a significant amount of time is always great and it's even better when done with monday.com. Adoption is high as it's really easy to use and get your head around.
  • Automations
  • Managing Large Volumes of Data
  • Social Media Planning
  • Project Management
  • Sending out item ID's in work forms to collect more info associated to that Item
In my view you can use monday.com for whatever you want - if you can map the process you can do it on monday.com. Accounting - personally i'd stick with the likes of XERO etc - it doesn't replace that but it can assist with invoicing etc. Recruitment processes, deals, social, CRM, email - the list goes on - monday.com is suitable for many scenarios.

We use monday.com because we work closely with three partner companies. Monday.com offers the possibility to add all the necessary 'external colleagues' to our monday.com environment. Next to this, the flexibility monday.com offers to configure boards makes monday.com an application which can be used by all teams for a variety of needs.
  • Flexible configuration of boards
  • Possible to collaborate with external companies
  • Jira plugin needs some extra features
  • The calendar only has the option to schedule half an hour timeslots. Begin and end time would be so nice. (add start end to date column?)
Well suited for collaboration with external companies.

We use it to make the direct upload of our campaigns in our platforms, making all the process more automated and easy to manage. Also, we use it as a way to implement some improvements internally in the company, such as reviews of our products, individual tasks for the upcoming week, performance of each employee, etc.
  • Gives us a variety of arrangements so we can personalize the best way to display our work
  • Considerable amount of integrations with other platforms
  • Easy interface, intuitive use
  • Adding colors to each folder, to make it even more different visually
  • Sometimes there are some bugs with the upload of images, where it duplicates the file
  • When you select multiple lines and then the information duplicates automatically, but if there was one file that I didn't want to duplicate I have to go to every line and delete it there, I can't do it in bulk
Monday.com has been helping in different scenarios when it comes to my daily tasks. I can organize the amount of work I need to do, dividing it according to my priorities. Also, as a team leader now, it became easier to control the workflow of each of my teammates. I think it wouldn't be too appropriate to take notes for a meeting, there is some improvement when it comes to creating a notepad that you can use.

Monday.com keeps me organized with multiple projects that need to be addressed daily with deadlines and details. Handling multiple projects has been made easier and helps me to keep that personal touch with teams and volunteers. Monday.com keeps me from missing the details and time sensitive work from falling through the cracks.
  • Organize personal appointments
  • Keeps work flow in easy view
  • Allows for tasks to be moved easily to adjust for priorities and changes
  • Would like the list function to move to the next item in the phone app without having to click again
  • When fields are added to one boards it is not easy to move things to another board- they don’t match up
  • I haven’t used the project manager yet. Seems laborious
Monday.com has provided a space that allows me to keep several projects prioritized all at the same time. I can quickly move tasks from one board or list to another with little effort. It has kept me on task and allows me to have my organizer with me wherever my computer or phone is!

What DON'T we use Monday.com for?!? This platform is truly incredible and we use it for anything we can! Our business has a ton of moving parts and Monday.com has allowed us to easily manage our projects and initiatives under one roof. Our team uses it to keep track of their individual tasks and projects, our management team uses it for project management of our company-wide initiatives, and we've built out tracking and automations to streamline the operational changes our clients undergo (from accounting and agency management system migrations to onboarding new users), and even use a calendar board to monitor the creation and distribution of our marketing content!
  • Automation
  • Tracking
  • Organization
  • Streamlining Processes
  • Cross-Collaboration
  • Ability to keep multiple groups on the same board with different column types.
  • Automations that integrate with email (i.e., Outlook).
I've recommended Monday.com to all of my colleagues because I think the platform lends itself to pretty much any division or industry. It is great for tracking any type of progress/initiatives, storing checklists, organizing notes, creating timelines for projects or tasks, task management, and automating components of processes or workflows to limit the amount of manual work involved.

Project Management, Gantt charts for complex and multi layered team projects. Workflows and timelines. Data storage and organization.
  • Workflow flexibility
  • Appealing visuals
  • Upgrades and new integrations
We utilize complex workflows that require flexibility and ease to determine which step we are on, what is completed and who's responsibility it is. Many of the other platforms I've used have too strict of rules around their workflows. Additionally, the colors are helpful for our visual team to enjoy working and checking on the status of projects.

We use monday.com to help keep track of our artists' progress and which member of the team is taking care of certain aspects. It has been great to create a weekly task list for in-office use as well as a board for monitoring every artist on our roster without missing anything.
  • We love the automations feature
  • The ability to work off of pre-made boards
  • We love that it can be used as a digital checklist
  • It is hard to copy another board to use as a basis for a new one.
  • To fix something it is difficult and requires starting over on some parts.
  • We wish it could be more geared to adding files of music or videos onto each board
It is well suited to keep team members in the loop when someone is out of the office or misses a day. I would recommend using this if you are wanting to move towards advancements in technology and avoid wasted paper trails.

Antipodes uses monday.com across the entire business - I cannot believe the number of use cases we have found for it. We use it to put in design requests, manage campaigns and promotions and to arrange send outs for product logistic HQs. We manage all our production through shared boards with our suppliers, as well as project plans and marketing plans with our retailers. The list is endless.
  • Easy and intuitive
  • Continuously improving and developing software
  • Customisable within reason
  • The notifications pane can get a little overwhelming when across multiple boards - a way of managing this more effectively would be great
I can imagine monday.com would be great in any SME business - it can apply to almost every use case

I use monday.com for a few items: To manage my own projects and task list/statusTracking Inventory of swag itemsTracking upcoming community events that we're supporting am the champion of monday.com at my company. I used it with my previous employer, and when I started at my current employer about 2 years ago, I was using a free account to track my own work; my manager was impressed with my productivity and organization, so she elected to pay (out of her own pocket) for an account so that I could use some of the more advanced features. Now we have 3 of us from the marketing department using the account but I am attempting to show the value of the program to my peers so that we can expand our use and get the whole department on board.
  • I appreciate the automation feature, which has saved me lots of time on administrative work and keeps me organized.
  • As a Graphic Designer - I'm a sucker for the beautiful, color-coded interface.
  • Monday is really intuitive and user-friendly; I appreciate the resources they offer that make it easy to learn more about the tool.
  • Monday.com support - With the level of competency I have with monday.com products, I can usually find the answers to my questions, but when I do need help, I'd prefer to talk to a CS agent rather than a bot that directs me to the same articles that I've seen and don't address my issue.
  • I once attempted to get a sales rep from monday.com to do a full interactive demo with my department to show the capabilities of monday.com that we could invest in I wasn't able to demonstrate because we have a basic plan. I was disappointed in our experience, no one took the time to find out what we wanted/needed from the demo, and ended up being a waste of time, and a poor showing that did not impress my colleagues. Which after my cheerleading for the product for so long, made me also look bad.
  • The pricing plans are a little misleading, it says with a basic or standard plan that you can have unlimited seats - but my manager noticed the price creeping up when we added guests to view the boards that the 3 main users were building.
Most of my peers use Smartsheet, but I prefer using Monday.com especially for my own tasklist, and project tracking, and I also have used it as place to store and organize helpful resources that I need access to and need to share with others. I've even used monday.com in a personal capacity, when looking for a new residence, I made a monday.com board to communicate with a new roommate and track places we were interested in. We tracked amenities, square footage, rent cost, location, our ratings of the locations out of 5 stars, and links to their listings and photos of the property for when one of us couldn't make it to a tour. One suggestion I'd like to make is in regards to the fillable forms. I love this feature, but I wish there was a better way to see these forms and export these forms individually, or to see all the content vertically in a more visually appealing way.

I used monday.com to organize client information, deliverables and newsletter data. The automations made it easy to track deliverables to ensure that all clients were on track to receive necessary items within a timely manner. It also allowed us to keep other team members in the loop, assign action items and communicate about the specific client or deliverable. I also used it for tracking newsletter articles/ads/etc.
  • Automation of action items
  • Monday.com makes organization of items very visually appealing
  • It's easy to use!
Monday.com would be useful in any sort or project management situation. If someone is managing many different people/projects/etc. I wish that I had known about it when I was managing a district wide curriculum writing project. My life would have been so much smoother! I also think it's helpful when there are multiple people involved because you can tag them and easily share information.

We needed a program that could track high-level organization information as well as extremely detailed project tasks, coordinated between all team members, with automation capabilities, and Monday.com was a perfect fit for us. As President I use it to manage invoicing, hardware and software tracking, CRM, all projects statuses, reimbursable expense reports, calendar of events, etc. as well as my own personal to-do's. My team uses monday.com to set schedules and assignments for individual projects, assign tasks and deadlines, communication about issues and questions, complete, review, and finalize items both with our internal teams as well as external consultants and clients.
  • Task assignments.
  • Automating items.
  • Coordinating items between boards.
  • Offering different views and dashboards to analyze data.
  • Integration of other apps.
  • Easy creation of databases.
  • Continue to expand the usability of subitems.
  • Ability to order board views for all.
  • Reduce dead space on the screen so I can see more at once.
Monday.com is extremely well suited to handle the complete project management needs of our industry (architecture), which requires both a high-level view and detailed task tracking for large teams over the course of years, especially for a fully remote team like ours. It is not as functional as an overall team staffing tool (we tried it, and it was too much manual work), nor does it make sense for very small teams for the price point.

Monday helps me track a range of projects that my team is executing. It's incredibly useful to assign owners and track progress/updates and content that has gone live. We also use Monday to submit design and copy briefs to our creative teams and manage the reviews and approvals processes.
  • Project Tracking.
  • Clear communication with project stakeholders.
  • Instilling clear processes for each project and making project progression incredibly clear.
  • While the platform is somewhat visual, I think incorporating more imagery, such as preview images of projects, could help break up the text and make it more user-friendly.
  • I feel like some more training on my part could be beneficial, but the process of connecting boards can be somewhat cumbersome.
monday.com has been incredibly beneficial on a recent project where I had to submit and manage a range of creative and copy tasks. Keeping track of all projects, responding to queries, and knowing when my review was required, helped to keep things moving along on this project, which was paramount. As a result of monday.com functionality, we were able to get all our creative assets live on time for this campaign. For a much smaller project where only one asset is being created, let's say copy for a social media post, I feel that monday.com isn't as useful as direct communication.

We use Monday for a lot of To-Do and management boards across different organizations. We can track statuses and see owners. We also use it for a lot of request forms - I like the customization aspects. For example - customers requesting to pay a certain way will fill out a monday form. Likewise, if customers reach out to our support team with an issue - our CS team will create a monday ticket and our engineering team uses the board for problem solving and communication.
  • Allows for easy setup of general boards.
  • Allows for threaded conversations and easy upload of media to tickets.
  • Let users create a form and share it quickly.
  • Although it's easy to set up a general board quickly, it is difficult to control how you want to VIEW the board. I.e., re-arranging columns or setting the ability to view a summary of the ticket.
  • I have a hard time being aware of all my mentions/notifications within Monday.
  • I wish that it were easier to respond from Slack into a monday ticket. In fact, if all interactions could be completed through Slack that would make my life easier.
As I mentioned earlier... - It's easy for non-custom board creation. I would like the ability to customize a bit more and control how I view a table. Maybe those things are possible, but it's not clear (and I'm a technical user) how to adjust - I would like to complete more of my monday.com workflow from Slack itself (see more of the message and respond).

Monday.com has become a process management tool for my office within marketing. We use the software as a means to organize, plan, and collaborate on the social media content which we post. Prior to Monday.com, we would use Excel spreadsheets to manage our content. Oftentimes, information was missed, files lost, and data scrambled due to the lack of visibility offered by Excel. Monday.com has increased our productivity and efficiency as content management is now streamlined and accessible.
  • The instantaneous team collaboration with Monday.com is brilliant.
  • The sorting option to organize items by date is perfect.
  • The accessibility and immediate updates of Mondy.com from device to device are great.
  • When uploading multiple files, Monday.com will scramble the files, and they upload in different orders. As a content manager, a lot of things in my posts need to be in chronological order, and I spend a lot of time uploading to Monday.com one post at a time to keep the files in order. I would love to be able to drag and drop content into Monday.com and it is in the order I intended.
  • Formatting of Monday.com on iOS can be cumbersome to navigate. Certain views and functions are inaccessible on mobile.
  • The minor thing here- when moving things from group to group, I would love to not have my saved sort be adjusted. Oftentimes, we're making quick adjustments but still want to keep my sort view intact.
Monday.com is well-suited for teams that plan and schedule things in advance. I can see marketing departments and college recruiters really improving workflow productivity when using Monday.com. Monday.com may be less appropriate for someone who works in sales as it is a bit challenging to use Monday.com as a full CRM.

In a company that spans multiple countries in North America, using Monday.com to manage projects has been a lifesaver. Large teams are able to monitor progress, share updates, and share resources in real time. Our teams access Monday.com on various devices (mobile, iOS, and desktop) without issue. Monday.com provides supportive resources when new features are added, which has been fantastic for the team as well. The number of different software applications that have integration options with Monday.com has been the biggest plus for the team. We easily connect our project boards with our Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, and Jira Server. Automations have saved us time and streamlined the project updates across multiple stakeholders. Monday.com continues to add features and evolve. I cannot image managing the projects I do without it!
  • Manages the assets for large projects in one place.
  • Streamlines communication across teams.
  • Automates tasks to reduce manual updating.
  • Creates a visual representation for the completion of the tasks/meeting deadlines.
  • Allowing the groups to have unique columns would be wonderful. There are times when a board has many groups, but the needs within the group are not the same. The change for all columns within a board to be the same is very limiting unless people move items from group to group. Not all users use the boards/groups this way.
  • There is a column for links and a column for files. However, the File view does not show the files that are linked. This would be helpful. When the board is wide, it makes it a challenge to see what is needed easily. Less scrolling by using the file section in the update area would be wonderful.
Monday.com is very easy to use, allowing a novice to feel comfortable quickly. Monday.com also provides numerous advanced integrations and automation to add functionality for those users who are ready to "level up". Monday.com provides a hub for all project information to live and allows teams across a large company to collaborate and move projects along without lots of meetings. The update section keeps everyone in tune with where tasks stand within a large project.

Monday.com has streamlined many of our daily processes and communications. We use it to keep our listings updated and all of our staff in-the-know for all changes in real time. All of our staff members have the app on their phone so can keep abreast of changes or questions with any of our listings, while they are out in the field. We also use it to coordinate out web content creation and new listing as well. Monday keeps all the information and information exchange, task assignment, and coordination all in one place, so no more back and forth emails, CCing the whole team, and endless scrolling though email chains to find instructions for specific team members. Monday also has a CRM template that I am looking at for managing our deals, for now I have a board that I built with toggles just to track paperwork per deal like a check list- super effective but, I think the CRM might be even better. Monday is easy to use, very intuitive. We are not even using 25% of the features that Monday offers and it has been a miracle tool for communication and productivity. Our staff is now easily able to work and collaborate from across different time zones too! Everyone has an actionable list, and an easy place to ask questions. Monday has been a game changer for our small business!
  • Improved communication across teams.
  • Create an actionable list for all collaborators.
  • It eliminates SO MANY emails!
  • The notifications and the inbox could be all together, in my opinion- I don't need two tabs to check for info.
  • I do not use the lockers/info boxes for information, just because I am not certain how much storage is available and the number of docs, photos, etc. that I have for each entry I think would fill up too quickly.
Anything you can organize on a spreadsheet or a list is good for Monday- which means it is good for most applications!
