TeamViewer Best Remote

TeamViewer has a better performance and user interface than AnyDesk. TeamViewer's user-friendly interface further simplifies the support process, making it an invaluable tool for delivering excellent customer service from a distance.

AnyDesk is good if you use only Windows machine, but since we use a hybrid OS environment we find TeamViewer works well as it is super easy to setup and deploy the tool on any machines. We also like the way TeamViewer works. Also with Microsoft Teams, it is not that easy to take control.

TeamViewer is a bit simpler to use, and just as secure as the other options we reviewed. The price is a little higher, and maybe one day that could be a factor, but for now while it helps us keep our day going in the event of an IT crisis, that price is the least concerning thing.

TeamViewer stands good among the one which we reviewed in market. Easy to use from customer end and cost bearable as well.

TeamViewer has a more intuitive interface and an easier learning curve, especially for non-technical users. It also offers a wider range of features, like session recording and meeting tools which were important to me. It has better performance and responsiveness, especially on slower internet connections. Its file transfer speeds are also more faster.

TeamViewer is lightweight and the installation is easy compared to ConnectWise which requires an expert to install and maintain. ConnctWise requires about three servers to be set up and users to be trained to use it. TeamViewer has an easy GUI and is very intuitive, making it easy for anyone to use.

  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan)
It's easier to get it to work. The user only has to download the client and give us its ID. We can then quickly connect to him and provide user support. This helped us to get our remote resources back to work faster and improved our ability to cut our support intervention time in half.

Far more robust than the other basic options we've used as this is meant for a corporate environment where it supports multiple devices and users. The general device management is helpful and it is less taxing on computing resources to use as compared to things like Teams or Chrome Remote Desktop.

Lower in price, since i've been using Teamviewer for so many years, I feel comfortable with configuration, and I trust the platform. Also, file transfers are safer and connections are more stable.

TeamViewer stands out for its distinctive features of cross-platform access capability, which allows remote control of a variety of devices such as PCs, Macs, mobile devices and servers. And in addition, it has other features such as file transfer, video conferencing and meeting management. All of this in a single product, for everyday use, it is very practical tool.

The ease of use and application compatibility made the choice an easy one. The quick support module allows us to support our agents without the need for installation, which a lot of users appreciate. Connecting using an ID and password is much easier than trying to configure each system to work with the software, especially since many of our staff use their own PCs.

Zoom is less powerful than TeamViewer when it comes to remote sharing, but Zoom is sufficient for situations in which I want to help students or others with their computer problems. If I want to assist readers with questions about my book, I use the tawk.to messaging app. Both Zoom and tawk.to are more lightweight than TeamViewer, and lightweight is good for situations in which people at both ends of the call don't belong to an already-established team.

TeamViewer has an easier deployment and setup. Also the interface is more intuitive with more features that can be used. Keep in mind I have not used Splashtop in years and may have changed a lot and also is still a good product. TeamViewer over Splashtop is just my preference.

TeamViewer is known for its user-friendly interface, making it accessible for both technical and non-technical users. The ease of use contributes to faster adoption and smoother remote collaboration experiences. The ability to establish unattended access allows for remote control of devices even when the user is not present. This feature is beneficial for routine maintenance, software updates, and other tasks that don't require user interaction.

We still use AnyDesk also. TeamViewer (which is more expensive) has far more features, and is more user friendly.

The prices of TeamViewer have increased by quitte a lot. However, you can still see improvements in both the client as in the management interface.

For AnyDesk the licensing changes yearly, which makes them less reliable for continuaty.

TeamViewer stands out due to its feature-rich platform, user-friendly interface, robust security standards, cross-platform compatibility, and reliable performance, making it a preferred choice over AnyDesk for comprehensive remote collaboration.

Prior to Teamviewer, we used a product called DualDesk. It worked well at the time, but we eventually started having issues with it not allowing us through remote firewalls. That's when we tested - and purchased - Teamviewer for the first time. Whatever we use needs to (most importantly) provide us with remote access, and secondly, it should be easy to do from the customer's end. Teamviewer does both of those things quite well.
