Reviews
(551-575 of 654)HubSpot Is Awesome
- Landing Page Development - they make it easy for a marketer to create pages that are easily discovered and consistent with the website.
- Blog Development - they make it easy to optimize blogs and make them more SEO friendly as well as provide analytics on individual entries.
- Email - it is nice having all content needed for emails in one place. This makes it much easier to develop content around a newsletter and track contacts across all forms of content.
- Support - They have a support line which can be called anytime during regular business hours...it is one of the things that sold me on the service to begin with and every time I use it I am satisfied with the result.
- I wish there was more meat to the analytics dashboard. I still find myself using Google Analytics for more specific queries such as geographic data.
- I wish there was a way to segregate the information from different social accounts inside the social inbox...not a big deal though.
- The prospects feature is very cool but only works properly for companies that have their own internal IP address. So prospects who are using the IP address given to them by their ISP (probably 90%+ of all prospects) appear under the name of whoever the utility company is in that part of the world.
HubSpot is Essential for Non-Profits!
- Creating, editing, and sending emails. VERY easy and user-friendly. Also easy to add them into a set - or workflow - of emails that will send in a timed fashion automatically.
- Tracking interaction with all of our channels (social, blog, emails, websites). We can measure ROI and track engagement using the HubSpot dashboard and quickly make decisions to change strategy or stop something that is not working.
- Content optimization for our website -- our site is built on the HubSpot COS so we can show relevant content to visitors based on previous interaction and knowledge we have of them. This allows for personalization and more relevancy for the visitor.
- I have to say that HubSpot has made significant improvements to the UI since we began using it.
HubSpot has got it going on!
- Certifications- Inbound, HubSpot, COS
- Has the potential to be HUGE
- Easy to use for new and upcoming businesses
- COS URL Mapping is a great feature for 404 redirects
- Easier communication tool (chat with other users in account)
HubSpot Provides Superior Results and Intuitive Analytics
- Analytical data used for capturing leads
- Ample training opportunities for users
- Expert advice and customer service for users
- The blog often seems to experience glitches
- Load time often lags
- Time outs are frequent
HubSpot: Our Virtual 24/7 Recruiter
We needed a solution that would integrate our online promotion elements (web pages, offers, blogs, landing pages) into a cohesive set of tools.
- Workflows are particularly helpful for our small staff. We know that a lead will get contacted with our offers and communications in a timely fashion.
- The blogging tool is feature-rich and foolproof. It prompts you to include or clarify various elements (key words, etc.) before it goes live.
- The training videos are excellent. I watch them often and repeatedly to grasp or refresh on a topic
- The whole inbound concept has been harnessed by HubSpot. Even while we were implementing landing pages, leads were coming in because of the sound structure of the templates.
- Concepts like the Buyer Persona and the Buyer's Journey are helpful to those new to inbound marketing as they paint a clear picture of who your trying to reach with your product or service.
- For application in education, it would help if there some training videos tailored for higher education. Many who work in higher ed are not marketers per se and need hand holding through the early phases of implementation.
- The "starting point" becomes blurred, I think. We started with personas as a concept, and shifted to technical tools like offers and landing pages in the application. A walk-through of a sample set up would be good in an early phone call.
Top class product and service
- The training resources that HubSpot offers are invaluable. They are very informative and a definite bonus for anyone who may be new to, or struggles with understanding marketing.
- The service received from HubSpot is excellent. You get the support of a personal Account Manager who is always available to offer advice and assistance and the response time and helpfulness from the Support Team is fantastic
- The HubSpot software is easy to use, even for those who may not be used to working with this kind of system. There are an abundance of resources to explain how everything works and support is always available if you do run into any issues.
- I am sure there are features of HubSpot where there is room for improvement, however I don't feel that I've been using the system for long enough to have come across anything at the moment that I can pinpoint.
Indespensible & Valuable Marketing Tools for Any Industry
- The landing page builder is very robust, yet simple to use. HubSpot worked with our team to design the page template, and now creating pages and forms for our content is a breeze. Keeping track of all the components of the conversion process can be cumbersome, but HubSpot's intuitive layout ensures nothing gets overlooked.
- Creating custom Calls to Action for our blog posts is another helpful aspect of the HubSpot platform. We utilize the A/B testing feature, and can easily swap out those that are not performing as well.
- The HubSpot Salesforce connector has been a huge help to our company's productivity. Syncing contacts and information has never been easier between the two platforms, and the direct import feature from Salesforce to HubSpot ensures our lists are always up to date when we need them.
- Tracking certain metrics, such as customer conversions is difficult for our organization in particular, in a B2B services company. HubSpot is fundamentally organized around the individual contact, so I've found it hard to track our "customers" in HubSpot, businesses which we may have more than one contact record for.
- We have the Salesforce connector in place, which keeps contacts in sync between the two systems, and creates notes ("Activities") whenever someone is sent, opens, or clicks within one of our emails. I've experienced the occasional issue where many duplicate Activities get synced over on the Salesforce record for a single action for some reason. I have not experienced this often, and it is possible to delete the duplicates within Salesforce when it does, but we have not been able to identify the root of the problem.
- When sending out an email, the footer "powered byHubSpot" is automatically appended to the very bottom of the email - sometimes this can interfere with the effectiveness of how the email comes off to the recipient.
HubSpot works for us!
- CUSTOMER SERVICE is excellent. Our team members are always there to help, answer questions, and offer important strategic advice that we rely on to move forward with our plans.
- UPDATES to the tool are well thought out and released purposefully. The updates always make sense and address everything we were thinking about them doing.
- EVENTS have been put on throughout our tenure that engage the users and are really fun.
- Integration into Wordpress would be amazing. Our company policy dictates that we use WordPress blog and therefore, we are not able to use HubSpot to analyze data there.
- How much content are you actually going to post?
- From the knowledge gained, would you be willing to change your content strategy?
HubSpot is great... mostly
- Blogging
- Email management
- CRM
- Dashboard
- Reporting
- Email workflow management
Loyal HubSpot User
- User-friendly interfaces.
- Education - excellent resources available for any marketing topic you can imagine, lots of helpful guides, Inbound conference is unbeatable.
- Analytics - gives us everything we need to know about how our website and marketing efforts perform and more.
- The workflow feature was a little cumbersome previously, but we've found it much easier to use with the recently introduced improvements.
Digital conversions and ease of use are the reason I will be with Hubspot year in and year out.
- Easy of use and creation of digital content ex: landing pages, blogs
- Social tools are great, the social inbox tool helps contact and remain in front of your customers on social media.
- Contact management tools are also easy to use and intuitive. The ability to see where all of your contacts have come from and the analytics that brought them there.
- content creation: check out Canva as an example of a content creation tool that could be added to the software to truly push into the all in one digital marketing suite.
Great Platform for Both Users Young and Old
- Landing Pages. HubSpot makes it super easy for people to create and manage landing pages without having to know detailed code.
- Blogging. HubSpot makes blogging easy by tracking things like your SEO impact through how links, CTAs and keywords you use in your piece.
- Social Media. HubSpot has a great social media platform, but it's very Twitter based. I think that they need to step up on their game in other areas like Facebook and make so that posting is an easier resource, similar to Hootsuite.
- Uniting with Salesforce. Though the 2 systems do in fact work together, we have run into some issues when it comes to marking customers off that have been entered into our Salesforce database.
Etienne's Hubspot Review
- Ease of use : people that have no programming experience can design landing pages, emails, social media publishing... It really is easy to use and to understand.
- Integrated : We can do everything related to the Inbound Methodology. The Hubspot solution is quite complete and combines a lot of functionalities.
- Workflows : Being able to do workflows and chain of events depending of actions people make on our website is simply amazing!
- Social Media Monitoring : only for twitter, which I don't really use this much. Should be working on Facebook and LinkedIn!
- Custom theme : When I created my Hubspot account, i was working on a new website, and the custom theme was made out of the old version of the website... I was sad that we could not adapt it without paying additional fees.
Questions to ask would definitely be the list of functionalities, pricing and case studies.
Hubspot: A Marketing Platform for the Digital Age
- Inbound Marketing Principles. Hubspot provides a theoretical framework for marketing in the digital age. First, you learn the principles and then there is a tool (Hubspot) to execute on those principles. It's not simply an email marketing tool with some workflows. It's a marketing platform based on a specific way to market to the modern buyer.
- Simplicity. The Hubspot UI is very intuitive and requires very little training.
- Continued Education. Hubspot has invested a lot in customer service and self-service resources. If you have a question, the knowledge base is incredible. If that doesn't work, just pick-up the phone. Seriously... they're that good.
- I would like a 100% customizable dashboard that could be configured by user login. So, based on profile, the dashboard would reports that were relevant to that person. Example: as a director, I am concerned with MQLs. My VP on the other hand is concerned with Opportunities. Being able to configure customized dashboards would be huge.
Easy to use and integrate, backed by great training!
- Marketing training and advice -- great webinars, articles and content help you discover best practices. Hubspot really practices what it preaches when it comes to inbound marketing.
- Having everything in one spot makes it easy to update web content, create landing pages, create new forms, manage contacts, do lead nurturing, send emails, etc. It all ties together.
- Reporting is basic but instructive and easy to follow.
- Hubspot has been gradually changing over their content management tools -- and our main website content editors are the last to convert. This makes it a bit confusing as there are different "styles" in different areas of the product, and sometimes getting things formatted just the way you want it is difficult. I have high hopes for the future though with the new tools they are developing.
- I wish we could manage multiple domains into the same account, so we could make use of the same lead nurturing and contact databases while managing content for different websites.
- Some of the reporting could use improvement. Certain things are not super easy -- for instance just to see how many conversions we had off a particular email campaign is a bit more involved than you might expect.
Hubspot review from a Customer Success employee :)
We create custom content and a/b test landing pages to increase conversions. We are in the process of using Hubspot to manage our customer success lifecycle of our current customers and get them to be stickier and have a longer lifetime value.
- E-mail campaigns
- Landing pages
- Marketing automation via smart lists and managing behavior based workflows
- Large learning curve - it's overwhelming
- Integrating seamlessly with other systems - requires a fair amount of dev time to integrate with Salesforce
- Takes a while to setup - need a large time committment up front to extract value from the product.
An insight into Hubspot
- Gives detailed MI on all contacts/ leads/ customers
- Great blog tools
- Great support
- Cumbersome content editing system
- The customer 'contact' system means some of our leads get over written. We are looking to resolve but this is very problematic.
Why HubSpot is the #1 Marketing Automation System
- Workflow Automation. They complexity of workflows can overwhelm even the most seasoned marketed, and Hubspot has taken these complex strategies and automated them to make them useful us to help nurture our leads.
- Email Marketing. They have created a software that lets you have the freedom to create your perfect marketing email, with the anayltics to back up how it performed better than any system I have used previously.
- Support. Their support is unlike any other. They have some of the best people around who truly want to help you solve your problem no matter how big or how small.
- List Anayltics
- Reporting
- Social Reach Analytics
Hubspot! :)
- Customer Support - Seriously, HubSpot does AWESOME Customer Support. Their consultant team is great, their customer support team always is there for us!
- It's easy to use - Sure, there's a learning curve but it's so simple and fun to do, that we actually love when HubSpot puts out new stuff. And even when we have any kind of doubt or difficulty, we use their customer support.
- There are some minor things that we miss on the workflow sections - Like if/then steps, A/B testing and etcetera.
- There is one thing that drives me crazy - Everything in HubSpot is based on lists. It's awesome but, sometimes, minor things become more complex, because we need to create a list to create rules. Example: When you want to limit the number of emails that your customers receive for week.
- We miss some dashboards and better ways to analyze HubSpot. Besides that, we are a Brazilian company, and when we export a .csv file, it always gets messy with unicode errors.
HubSpotless
- The WISWYG editor is particuarly strong
- Nice global metrics dashboard
- Intuitive - navigating around and the way the software works just makes sense
- The social media bulk updater tool which was changed so you couldn't post in bulk was a step backwards.
HubSpot review - It doesn't get any better than this
- Hubspot provides outstanding marketing information. In particular I like the weekly review of activity that comes to me via email.
- The website builder/manager makes it ridiculously easy to keep the site up to date
- Everyone on the team can blog. New talent can start with little training. This makes it so the content team has to do little work to keep it up.
- I see very little room for improvement although they do. New features, usually well thought out, come out on a regular basis. As a user rather than a developer I can attest to the fact it has a great balance of simplicity and thoroughness.
- Lead history including source, page views and visits
- Tracking blog success
- Tracking lead generation
- Great support when you need it at all stages of using Hubspot
- The email editing can be quite cumbersome, the fonts and spacing can have a mind of their own sometimes
- Blog edits can take a long time as you can't jump straight to edit in the drop down listing, you have to enter the record first
HubSpot Review
- Their landing pages where easy to build.
- All form fills operated very well.
- We were able to generate a significant number of leads.
- Could be more user friendly
- The functionality was a little bumpy
Great tool with lots of functionality
- Manage emails and workflows. In my opinion this is HubSpot's main strength, to trigger and manage workflows based on the buyer's journey.
- HubSpot's lead scoring is also really handy. It's a great way to loop in sales on any marketing initiatives.
- The ability to look back at contact and see their level of engagement over time.
- The landing page is very rigid, in that it's hard to customize it quickly on the go.
- To set up a new workflow you need to jump into 3-4 tools to get everything prepped and ready to go. Set up a list, a landing page, possible a new form, etc. It would be nice to have the workflow as a central location, and from there a user can quickly create an email, a list, a landing page.
- Since we used HubSpot for emailing our subscribers we often find our selves having to make a specific list for a specific targeted email. It would be great if from within the email tool, you can quickly specify conditions that need to be met to create a list. In other words, creating a list on the go.
- More flexibility on the conditions that can set to determine how a workflow folds out.
- The ability to add multiple exit conditions for a workflow. This would be good where there 2+ streams of content, where a user can enter into any of which and be taken across the rest over time.
Happy HubSpotter
- Metrics/page performance report
- Social inbox (letting me schedule Tweets ahead of time)
- Corralling all the SEO-related stuff for the blog
- Top notch help all the time
- Not sure.
