Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Working for a HubSpot platinum partner, we use HubSpot for just about all of our clients. Our sales team also uses the newly improved CRM.
  • It allows my email efforts to be very automated and very personal.
  • The analytical reviews are great. I am able to see and test which keywords are strong and which keywords not that great.
  • The lead scoring feature is one of our favorite things to use. Rather than bombarding the customer with sales calls after their first download, we're able to be patient and target qualified leads who have shown an interest in our clients product.
  • Integration with other software systems. We currently use a CRM that is not Salesforce and at first it was a real struggle to get everything set up properly.

HubSpot is a good, comprehensive inbound marketing platform that reduces time and friction for marketing pros who want to implement a holistic inbound marketing program. We're using it as a blogging platform, an SEO tool, a landing pages tool, a contact database, a CRM, a social media tool, and generally an all-in-one marketing toolbox.
  • The user interface is very good. It's clean, easy to use, and logical.
  • It's blogging platform is outstanding. It has SEO coaching tools, is conversion friendly, and has a lot of nice features.
  • The social media tool is excellent and the social inbox gives us a great way to monitor and manage all social communication from one place.
  • The CRM is great! It makes the sales job a lot easier.
  • We would love to see some AdWords integration, similar to WordStream
  • HubSpot support is generally pretty good but sometimes hit or miss
I would not recommend HubSpot for a smaller business without in-house marketing help or the budget to outsource. It's a complex tool and it takes serious commitment to use it properly and get value from it. You have to put in the time and effort. It's well-suited for larger organizations that have marketing help and sell a more expensive product or service.

HubSpot is currently being used as both an Inbound Marketing tool as well as CRM. We use HubSpot across multiple departments. HubSpot addresses the problems of managing many complex customer types and how to market to each of them with pinpoint accuracy.
  • Reporting
  • Ease of Use
  • Thorough Tutorials
  • "Events" tracking somewhat limited.
  • Certain "smart" lists are inconsistent.
  • Hard to pinpoint problems for extensions or e-commerce connectors.
Well-suited for existing businesses, can be a little harder to use for brand new businesses.

We are using HubSpot for every aspect of our content marketing strategy. We are attempting to create a strong web presence, brand recognition, and create leads/contacts through the distribution of valuable content. Only the marketing department uses HubSpot. It allows us to manage all of our marketing efforts in one place and gives us the ability to look at detailed analytics from our efforts. The analytics allow us to make realistic marketing goals and strategically plan marketing initiatives.
  • Social Media Management: Allows you to schedule ahead, track competitors, and includes great analytics.
  • Blog: Great blogging platform.
  • Analytics: Sometimes the analytics are confusing because of the definitions they use, but taking the HubSpot classes or speaking with the HubSpot team can clear up any issues.
  • Website: The HubSpot website platform is not compatible with WordPress, so if you want to do a custom design, you have to bring in a web designer who specializes in working with their system.
The size of your organization is important. HubSpot is best suited for a small to medium-sized business.

We use HubSpot in all of our content marketing needs. It has helped in making the process easy and efficient. We recently migrated our blog over to be hosted on HubSpot. Now, posting a blog is extremely easy and the program gives me many suggestions on how to increase the blog's SEO. We are currently working on a website redesign and will have everything hosted on HubSpot.
  • Customer support
  • Increasing SEO
  • Optimizing landing pages
If you want a well-driven inbound marketing program, HubSpot is the right program for you. I came from having no marketing experience, to learning an extreme amount of information by becoming Inbound Certified through their online training.

  • Userfriendly interface! Even someone with limited technological skills can navigate the system and do what needs to be done. Posting blogs is a cinch.
  • Customer support! HubSpot provides personalized 1:1 service. We have been blown away with the level of care and attention we've received from our account reps like Oliver Baron.
  • Best of industry conference! I attended Inbound 2013 in Boston and I can honestly say it was the best marketing conference I've attended in 20 years. I left inspired and energized.
  • Dashboard organization. There is so much tremendous data within HubSpot that sometimes the dashboard is overwhelming. I know there are ways to customize this and I just need to take the time to explore it further.
  • Company blog too frequent. I just can't keep up with the content that HubSpot shares with me. Everything they send is so good, but I just need more time to digest it.
Be sure to take advantage of the service and support options that HubSpot offers its customers. We have monthly teleconferences with our account rep during which he answers questions and introduces us to new features. We also upgraded to more in-depth consulting with another HubSpot expert. She has been working 1:1 with our Creative Manager to better understand the new features of our Enterprise version of the software.

We use HubSpot to generate leads for our own sales folks as well as to generate leads for our advertisers. It helps give our sales folks warm leads to follow up, a vast improvement over cold calling. It also provides leads to our advertiser proving to them that our audience is interested and engaged with their content and business.
  • Landing pages are very effective in providing information for our advertisers and offering the opportunity to learn more by downloading information.
  • Calls to action embedded in content on our website and in our email marketing work well.
  • Email marketing through Hubspot is a key to introducing the audience to additional content and blogs on our website.
  • I would like to better understand value of publishing in the Hubspot COS vs Wordpress or other content management systems
  • In social media publishing they need to connect to instagram and other social besides just ones they have now...also need to allow more than one photo in publishing in Facebook....need to improve social media publishing
  • I would like them to do monthly webinars where I could dial in and learn how to build a better landing page, etc... the Hubspot Academy is good but that is all self learning...I would like a little more outreach from the academy instead of it all being self learning
If you have clients with varying knowledge of digital sales and marketing, HubSpot is a great tool. We got new advertisers we had never had before and new business from it thanks to organic traffic on the website. Sometimes with more sophisticated clients or agencies they already have their own inbound marketing solution and it can be more difficult to get them to allow us to use our own HubSpot tools.

We use HubSpot for all marketing and enrollment-related actions at Method Schools. We use it as an inbound tool for generating and nurturing leads. We then use it to complete the process from lead to customer (enrollment) using forms. We're now in the process of converting our WordPress site to the HubSpot Content Optimization System (COS). This will allow us to work within the HubSpot user interface for all of our website updates, including content and new pages.
  • The HubSpot blog is what attracted me to the company. It's true inbound marketing at work. I actually implemented HubSpot at a previous company as a result of the blog. There is so much good content there I don't need to waste time on too many other sites when I need information. We publish our own blog on this tool.
  • HubSpot's keyword tool is critical to getting our schools noticed. Rather than spending a lot of time and resources on paid search, which is very common for schools, we're able to rank for important keywords our potential customers use when searching for schools.
  • Lead nurturing is simple and effective with HubSpot workflows - we've saved countless hours by setting up our landing pages and forms with automation. I've found HubSpot's automation tool to be extremely straightforward and easy to use.
  • Reporting continues to get better and better with HubSpot. Like everyone else, we hate wasting money. There are many, many different reports - custom and created - that make marketing ROI reporting simple. We especially use attribution reporting as a key ROI tool.
  • The app is good, but could be better. There are times when I'm searching for contacts and I'm unable to get the info I need.
  • The interface for the blogging tool is very good, but I would like to see more customization options.
HubSpot is a great tool for companies who want to lower their cost per lead and cost per customer metrics. Going inbound is a no-brainer for most industries, and there's no better way to do it than by choosing HubSpot. I wouldn't have implemented it twice, at two different companies, if I didn't believe that.

Companies should consider their current paid marketing budget. Is ROI provable? They should also consider size - I know in some instances HubSpot might not be enough. But, I think the company is scaling up to the point there are a lot of large enterprises coming on. Customers should also consider their current CRM - is HubSpot's CRM enough? If not, does the current one integrate with HubSpot's marketing module (more than likely, the answer is yes).

We currently use HubSpot across our entire organization and across the marketing departments of our clients. A fully integrated system, HubSpot keeps us all on the same page and on track when it comes to building, managing, and executing our campaigns. From assigning tasks and setting deadlines to managing metrics and capturing leads, the HubSpot's innovation provides all the tools we need to be successful.
  • The campaign reporting tools and metrics are phenomenal. It's a huge benefit to be able to see where campaigns are most successful and where the weaknesses are.
  • The work flow tools are incredible. We are able to drill down to accommodate all kinds of complexities.
  • HubSpot definitely excels at providing list segmentation tools. This piece is critical for hitting the right people with the right message.
  • Some of the 3rd party integrations aren't as intuitive as others. Maybe offering a certification for the Salesforce -> HubSpot integration could be helpful!
HubSpot really isn't something that a marketing professional can just do on the side and expect to see results. There needs to be a tremendous amount of focus dedicated to the platform in order to move the needle. Prospects would definitely need to understand that. Even though it's a comprehensive, easy-to-use tool, it still requires a lot of time and energy to be successful!

Hughes & Co. is a HubSpot partner agency. We are 100% inbound, using HubSpot to facilitate our own inbound marketing strategy as well as the inbound strategies we create for our clients. It is used across our entire organization — both the marketing and sales portals. The marketing software allows us to campaign, nurture, automate, blog, engage on social media...and and and! It makes our jobs easy! And the new CRM...AMAZING!
  • Create and implement campaigns — we can see what has been done, what has been successful, what hasn't for every campaign for our clients
  • The HubSpot COS —We are loving the COS and all of the smart content features. It is particularly useful for our ecommerce clients who work both in Canada and the US.
  • Marketing Automation — We are watching it WORK! We love the ability to nurture leads to customers easily with the implementation of successful marketing automation
  • CRM — Still a work in progress, would love to see the option to set recurring tasks
  • Sometimes, HubSpot slows right down, or doesn't respond at all. Not the best when everything we do runs through HubSpot
  • We have lost a few posts (blogs, social media) never to be found again.
The only problems that arise in the success of HubSpot as inbound is when clients are not engaged. They have to understand what we are doing and be prepared for a consultative sales process. Not everyone is willing to change their sales process, even if it doesn't work with inbound marketing.

We are a small company and Hubspot has shown me how to create and improve our website to engage my target audience and bring in sales leads. Our website rankings have improved every year along with the number of visitors and leads. It is a major contributor to our growth.
  • HubSpot taught me how to create a good functional website ( good copy, good organization that is easy to use.)
  • The landing pages have performed very well along with our blog
  • Their "how to" training and webinars have been very helpful
  • I would like HubSpot to offer a review service where their experts look at my website and make suggestions for improvement.
I wear a lot of different hats in my small company and HubSpot has helped me tremendously in creating a good website in a relatively short time period. I started with the tutorials, attended some webinars and talked to the help desk whenever I needed help. They were always able to help me solve my problem.

We are using HubSpot for generating inbound leads by promoting content through our blog and social media channels. Only our Marketing team is using HubSpot right now. HubSpot allows us to convert a percentage of our anonymous website visitors into leads and nurture them through a workflow. We've already seen a tremendous amount of growth through web visitors alone since implementing HubSpot.
  • Their one-on-one training/consultation with our account manager at HubSpot is absolutely wonderful. It is so nice to receive feedback on our progress through the software.
  • I love the features that HubSpot implements - the calendar, publishing to all of our social media accounts through one platform, workflow branching logic, the list goes on.
  • HubSpot always has helpful blog content, as well as resources for any marketing needs. Their online training programs are great too!
  • We use the Professional level of HubSpot software, but I would love for A/B testing to be included with our version!
For a small size company like us, HubSpot seems to be the perfect fit. We wear many hats in our roles, and sometimes it feels a little overwhelming to implement a GREAT inbound program with a small team. If considering software similar to HubSpot, I would ask about the onboarding and training process. We got to try out a demo of HubSpot before purchasing and it really sealed the deal, after we could see for ourselves how easy the software was to navigate and use.

HubSpot is used as MAP/ marketing automation platform and - as of recent - CRM tool too. I firmly believe in the motto 'eating your own dogfood'. This was the key reason back in 2011 to start implementing and actively using HubSpot.
  • Ease of use
  • Relevant updates: COS (CMS), CRM, Social Selling etc
  • Great online knowledge base with loads of stuff for both customers and HubSpot partners
  • Marketing Asset Management: HubSpot not being an MRM tool managing larger volumes of assets is challenging
  • Workflow of marketing/sales tasks to be completed (I'm not referring to lead nurturing yet to the internal marketing > sales > service collaboration)
  • Support of enterprise-scale marketing/sales alignment
HubSpot traditionally is well-positioned to support ToFu(top of funnel), MoFu(middle of funnel) processes. B2B companies in search for a proven, easy-to-operate MAP SaaS platform definitely should put HubSpot on their shortlist. HubSpot to us has proven time and time again it is intuitive to most marketers and salespeople who generally are not that IT-savvy yet. The interface, support and user community add to the positive experience for most.

HubSpot is being used by the marketing department of the company. HubSpot has been able to help us track and manage lead as well as create an easier digital presence with search engine optimization tools and analytics.
  • HubSpot has been extremely helpful in helping to target, track and manage leads. With their persona tool we can easily segment out message to the correct key targets and see how effective our messgaing is within each persona.
  • Campaigns. With the campaigns tool, I have a step by step process to create a campaign from the email, to the CTA, to the landing page to the form, etc. It walks you through the process so you do not miss a step and then gives you insight in our well various parts of the campaign are performing aganist other elements.
  • Customer support - my contact is on top of everything. Whether it is a technical issue, user error, or just a question on a feature she has been able to help me in an extremely quick turnaround.
  • One things that I wish they had was if/then forms - when I went for training they did mention that this was something that was on their radar but those type of questions are very helpful to make sure we ask people the right questions to help better navigate through the sales process.
It is such a great tool to streamline all of the processes and helps to work more efficiently in less time. I would recommend because in my experience with HubSpot, I have found it to be extremely helpful in my day to day tasks as well as long term projects and goals.

We use HubSpot for marketing campaigns both online, email and print by linking calls to action to landing pages. We also maintain an extensive custom database of detailed profiles of our own staff and agents. While we have several options for automating social media posts, HubSpot has proven to be the most efficient and effective tool. Blogging is also through HubSpot, and we are still just beginning.
  • HobSpot support is the best I have ever experienced in any industry. As a one-man team, it is a huge comfort knowing I can reach out antime and get expert, intuitive and patient guidance need.
  • Publishing to 11 social media accounts all at one time is fantastic. Whther original creating content or publishing a link to other online content we wish to share using the integrated Chrome browser app, it's so easy to publish (or schedule posts) to all our sites at once.
  • When it's so easy to create landing pages, there's no excuse for not being able to provide the right content for every targeted persona. If only I could clone myself as easy as it is to clone HubSpot content.
  • As I write a Blog post, I love the way HubSpot coaches me to improve my post by integrating more pictures, links, calls to action, relevant keywords, and more. This tool will definitely help you deliver quality content.
  • Occasionally I am posting from a mobile device and wifi or network is weak...unfortunately, if I am impatient, I may touch the submit button repeatedly if it appears to not be processing. In one case I received an error message after submitting a post to 11 sites... So, I submitted again...apparently about 6 times, because the post was repeated on all platforms 6 times. Perhaps the system should recognize when The exact same post is submitted...and then prompt the user with something like "Hey there friend... You posted this 7 seconds ago, are you sure you want to post it again?"
HubSpot is a powerful tool... It's easy to use too, but you still have to do a little work yourself. It can't make you do the work you know needs to be done, but sure makes it a heck of a lot easier!

We use HubSpot to generate new driver leads. We have setup workflows to email prospective drivers. We also use it to schedule and monitor our social media posts to various outlets. It allows us to keep everything organized in a central location.
  • Workflows - establish set rules for various personas.
  • Social Media Scheduling and Monitoring. It's pretty good, but more intuitiveness, and simpler navigation would be helpful. Suggestions for posts to other channels might be nice.

HubSpot integrates all of the best tools for inbound process execution, by personalizing the relationship with the people and providing the answers to their needs according to the different stages of their purchasing decision-making process. In addition to sharing the knowledge of their behaviors and demographic profiles and interaction that they have online. It allows you to generate qualified leads and potential customers more quickly and with a most profitable investment. We use HubSpot ourselves across the whole organization, and for our clients.
  • It provides an extensive knowledge base and a timely and effective customer support that helps you also on coding etc. For me, that I'm on the go to learn, is of huge help to save time and stress
  • User interface clear. There are plenty of features but is always easy to navigate.
  • Analytics. Apart the "standard" reports, you can track, analyze and inspect virtually any interaction that passes between you and your prospect.
  • All the tools you need for lead nurturing are on the same platform - that is owned by your customer.
  • Despite as I said customer support is there to help and probably due to the complexity of the platform the development of a website requires advanced skills. On the other hand, they provide you Learning. Once you get an HubSpot certification, you got for sure a profession!
  • It would be useful to personalize better the Dashboard being able to highlight more specific marketing and sales reports.
  • Some webinars are funny and really easy going, but also time consuming... Taking out a bit of cheers at the beginning and byebye at the end... Maybe if they could stick more to the point?
Inbound methodology can apply to any business of any size. But if there is no attitude to develop a marketing strategy and if the company does not "convert" to the inbound approach, of course HubSpot is not useful. To decide to go for inbound marketing is more than just a problem of budget (that I understand can be a pain point), it means to redefine the marketing strategy of your business, or decide to have one. This passes also through see your own business with different eyes and with a different perspective: it takes time and efforts

We use HubSpot to manage our website, offer Calls To Action and response forms, and track our SEO results. My project manager and I post photos and blog articles regularly to improve SEO and drive traffic. HubSpot is an extremely efficient way to share across multiple social media channels.
  • Suggests Keywords and other SEO improvements
  • Tracks Results
  • Manages Call to Action Campaigns for multiple products
  • Cost for the upgraded package to manage contacts is prohibitive
  • Frequent changes in system navigation can be frustrating
  • Reports are valuable but details are limited. We also track with Google Analytics for more drill down options.
I have a background in website design and management that most small business owners do not. HubSpot is an in depth system that requires a big commitment to learn and use it. I'd recommend people without this background hire someone to set it up and maintain bigger changes. Day-to-day use is simple once learned.

We use HubSpot throughout our entire organization, and we use it for our company for all of our marketing - blogging, email, social media, our website and more. We do the same for our clients. HubSpot makes it easy to manage all of your marketing tactics in one place. With HubSpot, you don't have to go to multiple websites to do all of your marketing - all you do is go into HubSpot, and from there you can do it all.
  • Blogging: The blogging tool within HubSpot is so convenient and easy to use. Before posting your blog, HubSpot will let you know if you've filled out all of the sections, including blog post, image, meta description, keywords, author and more.
  • Social media: You can post to and monitor all of your social media sites in one place instead of having to go to each individual site to do it all. You can also see analytics for each social media post you make.
  • Website pages: HubSpot makes it easy to add and update pages on your website.
  • My ONLY complaint with HubSpot is that there are some days where the system freezes up, and I have trouble getting work done. I think it has a lot to do with the volume of people using HubSpot, but it can get frustrating.
HubSpot is a great tool if you're looking to generate new leads for your business. During the selection process, ask HubSpot whether or not your goals can be accomplished through HubSpot. Although it's a great tool, it may not be right for everyone. HubSpot is really great for companies that have the assistance of an agency, but it can also work really well for businesses who are trying to do it on their own because it's so easy to use.

We use HubSpot to create, send, and track email messages to our customers. HubSpot is also utilized to create and maintain the blog area of our website and a few of our landing pages. This includes the use of forms and automated emails. Used mainly by our Marketing Department, HubSpot also assists our Sales Team in starting conversations with possible leads and to nurture our existing customers.
  • HubSpot is very easy to work with. It's easy to learn and the support team at HubSpot is excellent and willing to answer every question.
  • We were able to migrate our blogs and landing pages from Marketo and Compendium very easily, and our "go live" went without issue.
  • HubSpot support is outstanding. All calls and emails are answered quickly, and the team is very knowledgable about their product.
  • I would like to see a function added to be able to easily see what blogs I've posted to social media.
  • The addition of a blog editing process would be helpful. After writing a blog it would be helpful to be able to assign another HubSpot user as an editor/publisher.
HubSpot is well suited for small businesses or companies with smaller budgets.

I am a member of a small team that manages HubSpot for a client. This is the first time that we have invested ourselves into any type of Inbound Marketing/Automation Campaign - and for our client, who wants to have "net new customers" and determine extremely qualified leads, who, in-essence raise their hands to have a rep contact them, HubSpot has been an excellent tool.
  • You can personalize the dashboard of analytics.
  • You can automate the series of next steps your customer will take; so, for instance, if they open two of three emails that you sent them and downloaded content you had on a lading page, perhaps you'd want them to skip the next email and jump to something more meaty down the funnel. Or, when you add new contacts, you have a set path for them to follow and aren't in the tool sending hundreds of emails every day.
  • I really like our Channel Consultant. While she is not the point-person when we have technical issues or questions, she offers a lot of insights on our campaign efforts and I really feel like she is a member of our team versus simply a consultant. She took the time to ask a lot of questions about our client, their goals, our goals, what is in-place already, the competition, who are the personas, etc.
  • Like any well-thought out campaign, it is time consuming. So, while HubSpot tries to make it easy with a video for just about everything and making checklists, it is quite overwhelming and frankly seems mountainous. And, while it is suggested that once you are up and running, it will only take 5 to 10 hours a week, I feel that is on the low-end.
  • Personally, I don't find value in the videos that are recorded conversations of a HubSpot employee and a few customers. The better and more helpful videos are the shorter ones that are to the point with a couple of takeaways and one of your HubSpotters talking to the camera.
  • I would like to have more abilities in analytics. There are a few people in my office and a few people on the client-side that test and open emails, visit pages, download content ... and, so my first change to analytics would be to be able to manipulate numbers within the lists more, in order to cut out my test audience while still having them in the same launch.
  • And, secondly, being able to segment which list leads come from in a quick snapshot would be extremely beneficial.
  • Thirdly - and we may be in the minority on this, but our client runs banner ads and feeds us those leads on the back-end to help subsidize their overall listing, in addition to the occasional new contact that a rep provides us on the back-end. I'd like to be able to see if qualified leads are continuously coming from one certain list (or rep) to be able to advise our client on where to spend additional time -- or if those leads from banner ads never pan out, be able to tell them to spend the time and money elsewhere.
For our client, who wants to see well-qualified leads that are raising their hand for more information, HubSpot is a great fit. It also is terrific for garnering net-new leads that wouldn't have otherwise been in the system.

We are currently using HubSpot to capture new leads and prospects for our digital marketing business. It plays a key role in our marketing and sales areas as it allows us get in touch with people in search of our services, and also to know who is in touch with us and who is ready for a call from our sales team.
  • Users profiling: HubSpot allows us to gather up in one place all types of information about the same contact. Giving a detailed background of every prospect to the sales team.
  • Smart content: Because of all the data that HubSpot collects about the users, it is easy to create and show relevant and personalized content to each user. This helps us to move the leads along the sales funnel.
  • Easy to create content: HubSpot COS allows any marketer to easily create new landing pages, articles in blog, content in social media and much more very easily.
  • HubSpot's COS is relatively easy to understand and use for creating web pages and landing pages, but it's a little bit rigid when you try to do totally different designs for a website.
Just check the limits for each functionality in every plan: email sends, contacts allowed, visits, etc. This will give a clear view of how HubSpot will support your needs.

My company uses HubSpot for marketing our clients to their potential clients. Everyone in our organization uses HubSpot, from building websites to creating marketing campaigns to blogging to social media. I primarily work with the blogging tool.
  • Blog scheduling feature is particularly convenient.
  • HubSpot is quick to address any issues that arise.
  • HubSpot offers great training materials.
  • Frequent glitches in the blogging platform (ie one day I couldn't add space around pictures)
  • Slow load time
  • Frequent session time out
HubSpot has features that address every marketing facet.

We use HubSpot for our own marketing and for our clients. It is being used by all of us here at OverGo. It is unsurpassed in reporting and tracking capability, and the campaigns tool makes improving marketing over time so much easier than anything else I've tried. We use it for creating websites, blogging, content offers, workflow. You name it - it's our platform.
  • Partner support - When you are a partner, HubSpot is completely invested in your success. The support they provide by way of personal attention and ongoing training is amazing.
  • Product support - I never hesitate to call when there is something I can't figure out or I suspect there is a better way to do what I need to do. The agents are fast, friendly and they know HubSpot!
  • Ongoing improvements - HubSpot is always adding value to the product without increasing the price for existing subscribers. It's clear they want to make the best product possible for us.
  • Social. The social tools have absolutely improved but (and this is partly due to API restrictions over which HubSpot has no control), functionality is still limited. You can't mention people on Google plus of upload an image via LinkedIn or do anything with Pinterest. Some day! Right now, it feels a little like social is kind of an afterthought.
  • Campaign tracking can get complicated. There are just some advanced things we can't do, or that require some serious back-end tweaking.
  • Workflows are a little bit limited in enrollment and unenrollment options. I suspect this will improve, especially since I worked with support so long to try to get it to work the way we wanted. Support is really fantastic.
If leads are important to you, you have a way to follow up on them, and you are committed to long-term content marketing, HubSpot might be a good choice for you. It's fabulous for B2B, but can work for B2C depending on customer lifetime value. It's a little pricey, so it's definitely not right for everyone. Also, it doesn't come with ecommerce out of the box, so that could be an issue for some, though there are ways to make it work.

Hubspot is being used for it's inbound marketing capabilities. We use it's lead capture and nurturing capabilities predominately.
  • HubSpot brings together a number of applications that we use on a daily / weekly basis into a single platform that allows us to better understand how our customers experience with our website.
  • Our website is our primary lead generation mechanism and the combination of HubSpot landing pages and blog features enable us to drive lead generation activities in a coordinated fashion.
  • The email feature in HubSpot has continued to improve and is now one of the most important tools in our lead generation toolbox. The integration of the email feature with all of the other HubSpot tools allows us to better target our campaigns to ensure we're providing our customers and potential customers the information they require.
  • I really like the way you're able to see flows in Google Analytics, it would be great to see a similar map in HubSpot.
  • The reporting feature could be improved to be more flexible in the data that can be reported on. Templates would help tremendously.
  • The CTA feature could be improved as well. Specifically I'd like to see the link attribute be easier to edit and allow you to leave it blank and still be able to save.
I don't know if our experience is consistent with others but we've had great service with HubSpot our account manager is very helpful and helps ensure we're getting the most out of the platform.
