Reviews
(226-250 of 654)- Setting up forms and adding fields to forms is pretty straight forward.
- Creating static and dynamic lists is easy to do.
- The user interface workflow rule engine is also intuitive, despite having issues occasionally or the backend being a bit buggy.
- Their CRM integration, particularly with Salesforce, is abysmal. Truly horrible. I have logged so many cases with support to try to resolve. I have cases that are still open from 6 months ago. Their customer support is horrible. Their standard answer is that they need to check with their engineering team. In addition, their Hubspot intelligence section is bad and never populates with the relevant Hubspot Activities due to the failed integration. Finally, I am not able to add a Lead/Contact in Salesforce to a Hubspot List as you can in other B2B Marketing solutions.
- As mentioned, customer support is horrible and completely non-apologetic! They don't seem to know much about their own product without having to contact their engineering team.
- Documentation is lacking. That said, you can mark their knowledge base articles as lacking/with a question and that team is very good about finding the answer and updating the article. Much more knowledgable than their customer support team.
Hubspot - All in one Marketing Platform
- Social media is easy and simple to use. I can manage different platforms in Hubspot. It also automatically generates reports on my social media channels so I can what is working.
- Campaign management is great, I can see what campaigns are performing well and make decisions quickly.
- Customer engagement and support is exceptional. Hubspot continue their relationship with you after you come on board as a customer. They are always there to help with a problem or be a sounding board.
- My only real suggestion is that some of the reports could use some more in-depth analysis.
Hubspot is great
- Integration of social media
- Deep tracking metric for email
- Tons of resources and tools
- Would love simple reporting tools that don't come at an additional cost while already using very costly software
Marketing automation for lead gen is the new sandwich board
For us it has addressed the challenges of content creation, social publishing, and lead generation. With an improved interface content is quicker to assemble. Lead generation is not a technical obstacle but allows us to bring together content landing pages, and various call to action tools for a consistent lead generation process across the blog.
- Content Management
- Social Media Publishing
- Lead generation
- More Drag and Drop features

Don't read this, just purchase HubSpot
- They're great at customer service. Any time I have an issue, they respond quickly and promptly.
- HubSpot has an awesome blog that provides a ton of value
- They also make everything very simple to use and easy to understand
- Inbound! It's a great conference put on by Hubspot
- It's a little slow to use sometimes, maybe it's just my computer, but there's times that it takes quite a while to update or edit blog posts
HubSpot - the tool for marketing departments that wants to focus on creating amazing content and lead generation, not managing systems.
- Covers the entire circle: Identify, attract, convert, close, delight!
- Marketing automation with the simplest user interface I have ever worked with.
- Connects marketing and sales with marketing automation and CRM in one simple solution.
- Lets you understand all your conversions and focus your attention where you get the most back!
- Lead generation perfection - you will simply create, optimize and publish content so that you can create more leads.
- With the new AD add-on, HubSpot really became complete.
- CRM needs work still, especially with smaller deals in mind.
HubSpot suits you:
1. If you have a small marketing department and can't put time into big system implementations.
2. If you have a big marketing department, but no-one that is a system focused person. (as it should be).
3. If you want to focus on great content and the audience.
4. If you just love usability.
5. If you care about making more money, not just get more visitors.
HubSpot does not suit you if:
1. You don't have an endgame of getting more business.
2. If you like hacking and coding your own specific setups in systems.
HubSpot - Best Marketing Automation Software on the Market
- Intuitive and consistent UI.
- Excellent tracking and reporting features.
- Solid support through articles and customer service.
- Email reporting is good, but there is a lack of customized reporting on emails, particularly month to month.
- New editor UI needs improvement.
- Customizing templates is difficult.
- There is a new paid for reporting add on that makes it difficult to tell what is a paid report and what is included.
HubSpot is the bees knees! I swear by this software.
Update: Our Sales Development team now lives in the CRM tool! We are so excited to have added Sidekick for Business, which allows our Sales team to utilize sequences for client nurturing. We also added a Netsuite integration. While HubSpot is the center of our marketing world, we are now able to sync it with our data center. On top of all of that, we just added the Website Add-on, and our new website is AWESOME. I am more than thrilled with HubSpot. It is here to stay.
- HubSpot is constantly updating their capabilities. They listen to their users. The other day, I mentioned it would be nice to have a dependent form feature. The update that came out just a few days earlier was that exact feature!! I love the constant improvements.
- Along with a great set of tools is a great team of support. The HubSpot support team is highly educated and excels at problem solving. Plus, they're really nice! If that particular person doesn't know the answer, believe me when I say they'll find the answer or point you to someone who knows next steps.
- I've harped enough on the tools, so it really comes down to the interaction with HubSpot's people. Along with the Engineering team making constant updates and the support team supplying problem solving skills, I can honestly say I have the BEST account manager that works at HubSpot. He is helpful with all my questions, no matter how trivial they are. With each person I'm put in contact with, I have a great experience. They really care about me as an individual and our company as a whole. My account manager gives me great references to relevant topics and solutions specific to my company's needs.
- ALL THE THINGS.
- You get the occasional lag. I blame part of this problem on our internet here at the office. Spotify bogs it down, sometimes making it difficult to proceed to the next screen. I found a workaround. If you hit "Save and Publish," and the sprocket hangs out on your screen for a while, just hit the save button again. It should fix it.
- I submitted a request for this one. The tracking url area is a little lacking. I'd like to be able to edit the description of the urls and even change the Campaign if there was a mistake. You're unable to do that now, but I have a feeling they will release something that improves this particular area soon.
Update: If you aren't going to spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with the software, I say no. There is a certain level of dedication that determines how well HubSpot will work for you. If you don't invest time into learning this thing, it won't be worth your money. BUT if you decide to take the time to learn it, you will be absolutely blown away. I recommend fully utilizing their support team and academy. Like I said before, if you aren't going to invest the time and understand that you will need to continue to learn as the software evolves, this probably isn't something you will enjoy keeping up with. All that said, it is TOTALLY worth keeping up with and learning. You will not only become a better marketer, but your company will benefit greatly.
Great option
- Business Development - Keeps track of leads, who you've spoken to, and who people have closed
- CRM - Great at keeping track of customers and their issues
- Wish there was more functionality in the CRM - for example, being able to keep track of and notify you when you haven't spoken to leads in a while, and having more intelligence there
HubSpot turns the gears of your marketing strategy.
- If you're doing any email marketing you should be segmenting your lists. For example, if you provide an offer for 6 months free membership, you don't want to keep emailing them after they've joined. HubSpot makes it easy to include a suppression list for future emails.
- Landing pages are the crown jewel of HubSpot. Use them to host offers and gate your content. Gather email addresses from anonymous website visitors and hand over new leads to your sales team.
- Optimize your emails with their tools. Get red flags to remind you of all the details you might forget.
- Their website page design is way easier to use than Wordpress.
- It does so many things it's hard to master them all. Thankfully they offer great education and support.
HubSpot Review
- Reports
- Social Media Management
- Easy to use and design pages
- Easy to send out emails to contacts in the database
- Easy out of the box table formatting
For the Love of Marketing Automation
From a marketing side our business has grown using Hubspot and the intelligence it has to offer on our leads. Our sales team has even started using the tool so that they can be marketers and consultants first and sales people second. Using inbound marketing through all assets of our business has been a true step for us in our growth as an agency.
- COS
- SMART functionality
- Lead Intelligence
- Growth in the CRM tool
- Reporting - I would love to see this as a freemium vs paid option. It's hard not being able to report on success without piece mailing these together
Thank you HubSpot!
- Automation
- Integration
- Ease of Use
- Great customer support
- Awesome free integrations with other business apps
- More data analysis
- Offer a way to track NPS
- Add a way to send out other type of surveys
- customizable blog templates would be nice
Hubspot Review
- Speeds up development
- Consolidates all the odds and ends into one easy to access place
- It is hard to do some more customizable code in HubSpot. We have found some "HubSpot hacks" that we use to our advantage, but making this a simpler process would be nice.
HubSpot Review
- HubSpot makes it easy to ensure that all our Blog content is optimized for SEO - it helps us with keywords, meta descriptions, CTAs, images, and more. With every blog that goes up, I'm confident it is as strong as it can be.
- HubSpot has helped us organize leads and contacts into lists so we can provide helpful and relatable information to nurture them along on the buying process and also see each client as a trustworthy, knowledgeable source.
- With HubSpot, we can track the success and shortcomings of eNewsletters. HubSpot helps with the setup process, gives sending guidelines (time, subject line, etc), and gives us a depth of information about who opens the emails, when, what they click, and more.
- It would be nice to be able to select a date range when checking the rank and success of keywords in the keyword reporting tool
- HubSpot sends great, thorough monthly reports for each of our client, but it'd be nice if we had the option to get the reports quarterly instead.
- Right now HubSpot Ads Add-On/Integration only works with LinkedIn and Google Adwords - so we're still using other resources for things like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- We'd love to see HubSpot find a way to use Instagram and be able to schedules posts like we can on other social channels.
HubSpot does everything I need, everything I want, and more!
- Landing Pages - incredibly easy to design, create, and publish.
- Blogging tools - helps with keyword optimization and design.
- Social Media - being able to post all social media things from one central platform is fantastic.
- Customer service - always quick and helpful
- Always room for more design options.
- Honestly HubSpot does it all.
HubSpot is ahead of the game.
- Makes developing content very easy - when creating a landing page, you can create a follow-up email to that landing page with one click of the button. You do not need to go in at a different time to create the email and then link it to the landing page.
- It is very easy to link content to pages that we create. Instead of having to put in the web address of each page we want to link, all you have to do is highlight the certain words you want linked and type in the name of the page and it pops up.
- It is great for workflows. You can create either simple or very complex workflows that can include whatever offers and content you desire.
- My main problem with HubSpot is their social media feature. Being that I focus on social media, it becomes a problem for me often. You cannot post to Google+ communities, or LinkedIn communities from the platform. In order to interact with them you need to go directly to those pages off of HubSpot.
HubSpot: The best solution for scalable companies.
- HubSpot's site pages are my favorite. We previously used WordPress, which was slow to update and took hours to make edits on, and required advanced knowledge to make small changes. Site pages has allowed anyone in our company to make changes and updated pages as needed because the platform is easy to learn and intuitive.
- The blogging platform is great.
- HubSpot's email has gotten faster this year. There used to be a lag for receiving emails immediately (up to 15 minutes for some API tie-ins) but it is much faster now.
- Social publishing is super easy. If you already create your content in HubSpot, there is no need to use a secondary platform to syndicate content on social.
- Honestly, every frustration I've ever had with HubSpot has been able to be solved by calling their customer support. Their support team is the best I've ever worked with.
- It would be great if HubSpot could add more social monitoring for platforms other than Twitter. Facebook and Instagram would be awesome, but some of that is not necessarily up to HubSpot.
I swear by HubSpot.
- Email Automation - effective and user friendly
- Database Segmentation - for refined and targeted marketing
- Campaign Tracking - being able to monitor all assets of a campaign in one easy-to-manage view
- Reporting and Analytics - reporting attributed to each channel, at a contact level
- Social Media Publishing - simple and straight forward
- Implement search tool on HubSpot COS pages (including blog)
- Add social monitoring on more networks than just Twittter
- Ability to post on more social network platforms
HubSpot is not appropriate for companies who can't put resources into inbound marketing. It's a time investment, and companies should either be equipped to invest time in executing inbound marketing deliverables or hiring a HubSpot partner agency to do the execution for them.
I love HubSpot
Since implementing HubSpot, our digital efforts are much more cohesive... and our team is a lot more knowledgeable and confident in social media, blogging, email campaigns, etc. The Marketing department has also generated more and higher quality leads than we were in the past.
- Bringing all Marketing efforts together. The platform integrates blogging, email, social media, landing pages, etc. into one place that is easy to use and built for success.
- Educating customers. The Customer Success and Support teams are always available to help with any campaign. In addition, there is a plethora of resources available in the Marketing library to learn about any topic.
- Continuous improvement. HubSpot always has their ear to the ground regarding possible upgrades and updates to the system. What's more, when they make a change to the software, they interview several customers prior to implementation to ensure it will be a real enhancement to their system.
- Customized social media auto-publishing. We love the ability to auto-publish out blog posts to social media, but we have several blogs, and one of them we prefer not to post to our Facebook. I'd love to be able to designate which profiles post which blogs.
- With all the updates to the software it can get a tad slow sometimes.
HubSpot: An awesome tool you need to try today!
- HubSpot helps our company to get a better web marketing strategy. We can attract new visitors on our website, using the blog, SEO and social media features.
- HubSpot helps convert those visitors to leads, using forms, CTA (Call-to-action) and landing pages
- HubSpot helps closing those leads into customers, using email and lead generation features.
- HubSpot reports could be improved. You will still need to use other analytics tool, such as Google Analytics.
- HubSpot is only available in English. If you are a multilingual user, you might find it hard to use.
HubSpot Product Review
- Building your website on HubSpot is amazing. It gives you the ability to personalize the user experience for people who are visiting your website.
- The reporting functionality within HubSpot is awesome. He gives you the ability to see who is visiting your website how many leads you have and how many have converted to customers.
- The ability to manage your social media presence and HubSpot is a great feature. We have noticed that we now can track how many people are coming back to the website from our social media campaigns and then how many of those are converting into actual leads.
- One area that HubSpot can improve on is user management. It would be great if HubSpot provided the ability to grant access to people on a page by page level.
- It would be great if HubSpot had the ability to auto publish social media using an RSS feed.
Big fan of HubSpot!
- Education on the product - HubSpot wants you to be using their product to its fullest potential.
- Ability to segment - There are so many different parameters you can use to segment your contacts.
- Intuitive and easy to use.
- Great design templates and guides for optimization.
- Social publishing tool can be messy - content calendar views are odd at times.
- Although I don't deal with this aspect, I've heard pricing can be a con.
- Reporting seems off at times when compared with other analytics tools.
A Marketer's Dream Come True!
- Integrations between go-to-webinar and HubSpot are seamless!
- Email has never been easier. We can track, record and report almost anything we want to.
- It is user friendly and the customer support is outstanding!
- Some days the server is slow to respond.
- You cannot have multiple users on the same page making changes- totally understandable but it just stinks that it doesn't warn you before you start working!!! We've lost some time that way.
- The updates can be overwhelming sometimes. Luckily when they changed the interface you could toggle back and forth until you felt comfortable making a permanent switch.
Hubspot is Spot On!
- HubSpot gives users the ability to instantly track their marketing efforts, see real time results, and measure the effectiveness of their campaigns.
- HubSpot allows you to optimize your blog to ensure that you are being found through searches. In addition, the ability to automatically publish to social media makes the process of getting the word out simple and effective.
- The HubSpot COS is easy to use and gives you control of all aspects of your website. We went through a major website redesign which I led. Did I mention that I am the sales and marketing person for my company and not a website designer?
- The HubSpot support team is top notch. They not only take the time to understand your question but they provide the correct solution. In addition, they follow up with you to make sure you have been taken care of and that your problem has been solved. This is almost unheard of these days!
