Reviews
(251-275 of 654)I'll never use another marketing platform again.
- HubSpot has an unparalleled dedication to customer success. Your relationship doesn't end when you write them the first check. It is only just beginning.
- Very intuitive product which decreased the length of the on boarding process with new employees.
- All of your metrics from email to social media to content marketing to SEO are in one place which makes it easy to understand the entire scope of your marketing funnel.
- There is nothing major missing from HubSpot.
I'm in love!
- Intuitive and so easy to use. I've even been able to train some of our interns to use some of HubSpot's tools to help us keep up with contacts and social media.
- Education on the product - HubSpot wants you to be using their product to its fullest potential. I love having access to HubSpot academy's resources so I can learn how to use different tools as I'm working on projects.
- Continuous improvement: always looking for ways to grow and are always up-to-date.
- Onboarding and initial training: it's a great platform, but can be a little overwhelming for a beginner.
All the cool companies are using it. Why not you?
- The integrations with Salesforce and Wistia are a huge plus.
- Love the reporting features to share with management and sales team.
- The insights gained about prospects and customers journey through our digital media is priceless.
- Analytics from organic, direct, social and paid traffic is excellent
- I believe we have experienced some issues on mobile/tablet landing pages that did not scroll with content.
- Maybe add another drag and drop feature for building out landing pages.
- At first - I struggled with the email address logic behind forms and landing pages. Like, who gets a notification when somebody downloads or submits info on a form? Later I found out the form is the main thing to concentrate on for email notifications.
Excellent marketing automation and website creation
- Ease of Use - HS was extremely easy to set up and get started with right from day 1. I didn't take any training and was able to get my workflows set up easily. That said, I highly recommend training because when I did it later I learned a lot and realized I hadn't set things up as efficiently as possible, HS was great to help me identify and improve on the workflows I'd created.
- Support - the entire team at HS is incredible, everyone I've spoken to (and I've spoken to a lot) from the onboarding team to the support team are very friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about their customers and helping them succeed with the product.
- Lead Nurturing - HS makes it easy to set up nurturing campaigns and automation through simple workflows. It's so much easier to keep an eye on what we're doing, who is getting what, and what campaigns are getting the best responses
- COS - the HS website pages are super easy to create and manage, SEO is built in and they have a ton of templates to use. Makes creating a website as easy as possible
- Reporting is extremely limited - I expected a lot more since this is a marketing automation software and metrics are key. You can really only choose from preset fields and situations, you can't mix and match any fields you want
- The integration between their marketing and CRM modules is very limited - again, I would expect more but I know the CRM is new and they're working on it
- Strange set up between Customers and Contacts - not a lot of correlation which means extra manual work to get it right. I know that marketing/CRM is often contact-based, but when you win an account it's a customer win and all contacts should be updated automatically. They're not - there are actually still 2 different fields on the contact for "company", very frustrating.
- fantastic at filling the top of the funnel, the power to attract and convert traffic into leads
- all in one solution with fantastic modules to replace many other pieces of software that are difficult to get overall performance visibility with
- campaign analytic tracking, allowing us to manage end results through planned activity and promotion
- I'd like to see some deeper capabilities with their keyword tool, direct integration with web master tools or analytics would be great
Lovespot=Hubspot
- Blogging platform - has an easy to use interface and provides SEO optimization guidelines and suggestions.
- Email and lead nurturing tools are top notch. You can set up an automated workflow to do just about anything....except make coffee, wait I take that back. You could potentially set up a workflow to tell your assistant to make coffee, so I totally lied.
- SEO best practices provided are something a newcomer to the inbound philosophy can't live without!
- Some reports provide less accurate or meaningful data, for instance the competitors tool. Data accuracy can sometimes be questionable, however they are very diligent to correct the issues quickly.
- Pricing can be prohibitive for smaller organizations.
It doesn't get better than HubSpot for inbound marketing!
- Inbound Marketing: strategy, execution and analysis.
- Continuous improvement: always looking for ways to grow and adapt.
- Network: access to a network of HubSpot staff, as well as users.
- Support: always available, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.
- Onboarding and initial training: it's a great platform, but can be a little overwhelming for a beginner.
- Constant change can sometimes lead to confusion: they are always looking for ways to improve, which sometimes leads to confusion over how to do things now vs. how you used to do them.
A Great Tool for Non-Experts
- As a platform for blogging - it's easy to use and integrates into your website.
- To enhance our social media presence - easy to use.
- To provide content to our target market - lets me see who's downloaded what.
- To keep track of who we are connecting with - entire histories of interaction with prospect and customers.
- To easily add landing pages to our website.
- As an email marketing platform - great platform to target the audience with amazing precision and flexibility.
- Excellent support and training.
- I would like better reporting functionality. I think they have it in the enterprise version but that is too expensive for us right now.
- I would like the ability to see all the interactions on a particular piece of content in one place.
- The templates (for creating landing pages, emails, stc.) are a little trick to learn.
A Beginner's Impression of HubSpot
- HubSpot works particularly well when formatting blogs for SEO
- HubSpot works particularly well when formatting websites for SEO
- HubSpot excels at formatting and sending eNewsletters
- HubSpot is an excellent prospecting tool
- HubSpot can improve upon the image formatting within blogs and websites
- HubSpot can improve upon specific little day-to-day bugs that happen - such as image spacing not working within blogs and websites
- The keywords tool could be more intuitive, and fully-featured (similar to Google AdWords Keywords tool)
- HubSpot development tools could be more intuitive
Marketing automation that grows with me
- I've used virtually all of the MA software out there. I admit I was skeptical when I first used Hubspot. I really believed it existed for small business. I was pleased I had another look and decided to go with Hubspot at my last company. I've had no regrets, and been pleasantly surprised.
- Hubspot is the most integrated, and for marketers today, this is key. With the built in COS, I have my site, blog, landing pages, email, contact database, social, SEO, reporting and now ad management all in one system- and the benefits of that are many, not just because I am lazy.
- I love the community, their support, and that they really listen to users when they build their roadmap. 3 of the major new product enhancements recently announced (https, ad management add on and dashboards add on) were all requested by me over the last couple of years. They were listening!
- Hubspot's phone service is spot on- they always answer. I'm more of an email support person, and found this sometimes took way longer. This is definitely improving.
- There are always things that you can find that you need- ideas beget better ideas. But Hubspot is listening and always adding new features. Sometimes it can be hard to keep up!
New to Hubspot and loving it!

The Perfect End-to-End Marketing & Sales Platform
- HubSpot integrates all aspects of marketing and sales activity into one place! It's an end-to-end platform for converting visitors into leads, nurturing those leads, and closing customers! The user interface is well done and easy to use, unlike many other automation systems I've worked with.
- I love how HubSpot consistently makes the platform better. We have suggested multiple improvements, and the product team listens! They've implemented many of our suggestions and continue to release improvements to the platform every month.
- Customer service and support is also on-point at HubSpot. You often hear back within the hour when you're having trouble, or even when you have a simple question. They really go above and beyond.
- I still think reporting could use some work. The reporting add-on HubSpot added was a great start, but I'd like to see this area of the platform continue to grow.
- While we are able to manage GooglePlus, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter via HubSpot, I wish we could also manage Instagram and Pinterest via HubSpot as well.
The Proven Way to Get Results
HubSpot is integral for our organization and our clients by providing a single source of creating, tracking, implementing and reporting on our efforts to prove our work works.
- The automation that the system provides with landing pages, thank you pages, follow-up emails and workflows greatly reduces manual labor and increases your companies reputation by providing on-demand responses.
- With the array of tools this software provides you can manage your analytics, content, social media, contacts, leads and customers all in one location.
- HubSpot also provides a wide variety of resources for you and your clients: training seminars, webinars, ebooks, decks, and your own brandable content. HubSpot really wants you to succeed with their product and with the proper time investment you can.
- The certifications provided by HubSpot are a great way to get validated for your efforts and get your team and clients speaking the same language.
- HubSpot is always challenging itself and its users you modifying best practices and giving you better ways to think about your marketing efforts.
- The support from their team is incredible! Anytime we need a demo our rep is there for us with the client plugged in to the system and real examples used so it can easily be visualized.
- I would like to see more variations allowed in the email templates that get set up. Like a different background for a follow-up email and an enewsletter.
- I would like to be able to pull quarterly reports on our efforts. As of now everything is monthly.
- I would like them to improve the social dashboard tool to include more information from other social channels like Instagram, and Pinterest.
- The new Growth Driven Design initiative is an amazing way to rethink web design and a certification for this program would help validate it.
Hubspot for PR...yes it works!
- Training and customer support
- Intuitive interface
- Useful analytics
- Changing and updating pages forces me to relearn how to use HubSpot.
- Sometimes its not immediately apparent where certain functionality is located (i.e. under which tab, etc.).
- Always new features which don't necessarily apply to me.
HubSpot: great for marketers who are a "one man band"
- HubSpot does a superb job of onboarding and educating clients. The process is smooth and well-organized. Their learning library of content made it simple for me to get trained quickly on the platform and start using it almost immediately.
- HubSpot is also great from an ease-of-use perspective. No matter what I'm building in it (email, blog post, landing page, etc.), I don't need coding knowledge. (Although sometimes I will bring a designer in to help jazz things up a bit.) I also find the optimization prompts extremely helpful to ensure I'm covering all the bases before I hit publish/send.
- With SEO being such a critical component of successful content marketing, I really appreciate the keyword tool. I use it all the time to get new ideas for content or see where I have ranking and conversion opportunities that I can develop further.
- We used to use Constant Contact for our email marketing. I would like to see HubSpot's email tool improve - something as simple as seeing "forward" information is either not available from HubSpot or not intuitive at all.
- I have mixed feelings about the campaign tool. Overall, I love the ability to tie multiple pieces of content into a single campaign and see reporting for how it all works together. However, building the campaigns can be a bit of a pain. I don't like needing to publish landing pages in order to build other pieces...I wish there was a way to create all components of the campaign and then hit "publish" all at once, rather than piecemeal and backtrack to add links, etc.
- I think HubSpot's reporting add-on really ought to be a part of the product as a whole. Reporting and analytics are one of the key ways for me to prove the efficacy of our marketing efforts (and of HubSpot's value). The offerings in the Professional edition are pretty slim in my opinion.
Content Marketers? You Need HubSpot.
- HubSpot integrates all content-related activities via the CTA (Call-to-Action) feature that we use in email campaigns, on landing pages, in blogs, and throughout our website. Those CTAs are tracked, and we can easily perform analytics that show us what offerings are of the greatest interest to our buyer personas.
- The ability to build smart content is a huge differentiator for us. We can alter the CTAs we put in email campaigns, on landing pages, and even on our HubSpot-hosted website so we offer the right content to the right person at the right time. Being able to present, say, a mid-funnel offering to an individual based on lifecycle stage is huge!
- If you dream it, they will build it. Seriously. Every time I think, 'I really wish HubSpot had xx feature,' I swear they release it. I love being able to log into the community and vote for features that resonate with me and also see what my peers are requesting. HubSpot really listens to their user base.
- We use HubSpot CRM and Sidekick for Business in addition to the marketing platform, and I wish the 'Documents' in Sidekick for Business could pull from the content I have stored in my HubSpot library (such as ebooks).
- While we are able to manage GooglePlus, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter via HubSpot, I wish we could also manage Instagram and Pinterest via HubSpot.
- I wish we could schedule and send emails based off of the time zone of the lead. For example, if I want to send an email at 10am, that email would go out at 10am Pacific, 10am Eastern, 10am Mountain, etc.
Hubspot - A responsive marketing toolbox for your business
- Hubspot because it has a lot of great features all in one place. I look at Hubspot like a toolbox. A large toolbox that allows you to use different tools when you need them, like sending out emails to a diverse set of lists, schedule multiple messages across different social media channels and create reports that give you the statistics of how your individual tools are performing.
- Hubspot has amazing timely support. Even if the answer to the question I'm asking is as obvious as clicking a particular button, the Hubspot team will still walk me through what exactly I need to click and why. They're thorough and follow up to make sure you're getting the answers you need.
- The whole experience is user-friendly. I'm still learning how to use Hubspot to its full potential, but it doesn't feel too daunting a task. I know it will just take time.
- Another great highlight is the kind of reporting you can do. I appreciate being able to look at each individual email marketing campaign to determine who exactly opened, clicked or unsubscribed to our emails. It also shows you which browser the contact was reading the email from, how long they were looking at the email, and what links they clicked.
- Overall, I'm satisfied with Hubspot so at this time there aren't any major issues I have with it.
- However, I would love to see a workflow feature that allows you to automate the sending of a follow-up email or certain content to contacts who have opened/clicked on your email versus having it form based.
Rad CRM System
- HubSpot gives our company the ability to design and create our own landing pages and forms. The tools to create these are extremely user-friendly.
- HubSpot support has never let me down. Whenever I've run into an issue they've always been responsive and kind (even when the mistake was on my end).
- HubSpot continues to develop improvements that capture more information from all phases of the sales processes. This information can then be used for marketing as well as sales.
- HubSpot was down for one day earlier this month, which impacted our entire organization. I would've liked to have recieved an e-mail from HubSpot explaining the issues instead of having to reach out to them.
- HubSpot accidentally restricts me from e-mailing certain contacts. Their system tells me that an e-mail has been bouncing, however; once I wait the message will disappear. It happens some of the time and can get frustrating.
HubSpot is a Great Solution for Marketing Automation
- HubSpot is great for automating workflow emails, creating new campaigns, landing page creation and compiling lists.
- They have a great training program for gearing up with HubSpot. They also have training videos that can help you on your own pace.
- HubSpot support is one of the best around. You can call or email them. They respond quickly, and if they don't have an answer for you, they will take your number and call you back once it is solved. I've called them with unique challenges and they've patiently helped me to work out the best possible solution to help me get what I need from the tool.
- Overall, I'm happy with HubSpot and glad I chose it over other solutions. However, everything in HubSpot is created in different modules. It is sometimes hard to identify which module has the setting you are trying to change. It's frustrating at first, but it gets easier to identify after you've been using it for a while. HubSpot support is quick to help with this.
- HubSpot has a ton of criteria you can use to compile lists. List criteria can become more complicated than it needs to be, very quickly. Again, HubSpot support can help you understand what you need and simplify the criteria needed.
Great Social Sharing Platforms
- It is easy to use. If you're taught how to do something once, you're able to remember how to do it again by the context clues from links and buttons.
- Customer service response is efficient. I asked a question via Twitter to HubSpot support and I got a response within 24 hours. I was never frustrated and I received all the help I needed.
HubSpot - use and get back to work!
- Hubspot is great for scheduling your emails and social media publishing. Spend a short while up front and let it go off and do it's thing while you get on with other stuff.
- Hubspot is also great for automation of workflows - plan your workflow out, set up your goals, and as people join your lists it does everything for you. No need to get involved manually.
- Measurement is anothe strength of Hubspot; it can measure almost anything you would want - and the dashboards make it easy to see everything at a glance.
- When you clone your social media posts in HubSpot, it strips out the landing page and images and leaves just your copy. I want everything to be there in the clone and decide myself what to take out - most often I don't want to take anything out; the very reason I cloned it.... This is something I would really like to see improved.
Using Hubspot has changed my work life for the better
- Landing page creation and management. It is very easy to make a new page and launch it--can easily be done in a day.
- List creation - It is very easy to segment the database according to a wide range of criteria. The flexibility with this is pretty fantastic.
- Content to enable users is VERY easy to find. I have learned a lot of cool tricks from HubSpot that make me better at my job. The value of HubSpot is not just their product, it is their philosophy of constantly delivering value and delighting the people who engage with them.
- I'd like to see HubSpot improve their connectivity to standard things like a SQL server database.
- HubSpot could improve their B2B set up for companies like ours who manage partners as well as direct customers.
- I would like to see chat help, but my experience with their help has been great.
HubSpot: Your Inbound Marketing Driver
- HubSpot support is amazing -- they are very responsive, easy to work with and even if they can't come up with a solution right away, they let you know they're working on it and keep you informed throughout the process.
- HubSpot's automated workflows have become much more robust since I started using HubSpot -- they now include "if/then" branches that allow you to make the most of your workflows and customize them as much as possible for your different audiences.
- HubSpot's social scheduling and publishing tool makes it incredibly easy to schedule social posts across platforms for many different users and dates/times.
- It would be great if you could edit/upload a new image when scheduling posts for LinkedIn.
- I'd love more robust analytics across contact records, allowing us to see each conversion assist at a glance, instead of just the first and last conversions.
A HUGE HubSpot Fan
- The tool is so easy to learn and use. And whenever you are stuck they have incredible training resources and support.
- The reporting and dashboard is great. You can track success in real time easily which is amazing for showing results to the rest of the organization.
- It's really easy to schedule your social media posts and link to Hubspot content directly then track leads in the system. Best way to show ROI for social media efforts.
- I find the email editor not the best tool out there. The fonts and layout sometimes come out odd looking and not the way it looks on the screen.
- There's a few things around lead scoring and being able to set a MQL back to a lead that's really hard to do in the system. If a qualified lead isn't ready to buy and you want to nurture them again, so can't put them back to 0.
- It would be great if there were more automatic notifications that could be set up for the contact owners. There are a few standard ones in there, but it would be great to be able to customize the notifications.
A big system for small businesses providing loads of room for growth
- When blogging HubSpot takes me through all the things I need to do to make my post professional, SEO optimized and with suitable images. It also helps me email the post to people on my list.
- When setting up landing pages HubSpot enables me to select a template branded to my company, tailor the page content to what I want, insert a CTA (call to action) and a form for collecting email and other details. It really is very flexible and even has the option of opening up a separate Thank You page when someone fills in a form OR it can change the text in the exiting page, meaning you can say thank you and provide your free download, or whatever it is, without leaving the page. Of course, you also have the option of a follow up email to deliver the download.
- I can click on an contact in any list and HubSpot will show me all the pages the lead has visited on my website and blog, any downloads they've had and the date they did what.
- Every week, although I could set it to do it every day or month, HubSpot sends me an email summarising activity on my website and blog, listing what has been downloaded or bought, with percentages up or down since the last report. I also get a similar email with regard to my social media activities, which is really helpful.
- On that last point, I have set up HubSpot to notify me when people who I have connected with on my social media accounts post things that are relevant to my business. I can then take a look at what they've posted and re-post it myself if I want to.
- Whenever I send out an email to my list HubSpot tells me how many contacts have opened them, how many have click a link in them and how many have downloaded anything as a result of them.
- The online training, videos and presentations are superb. Just wish I had more time to devote to them.
- HubSpot is fantastic, it covers all the angles and is fun to use. I love it! However, the basic package cannot auto email contacts, despite being quite expensive. I could upgrade to the Professional package but that really is very expensive and, for the time being, out of our budget range. It would be good to have at least some basic auto emailing capability, perhaps also limited by the amount of emails you can send.
- When you're getting started, learning to use workflows and auto email would be very helpful and help sell the Professional package. It's too big a jump from Basic to Professional and way too expensive! I suppose I would even mind if I had to pay a bit extra for basic auto email functionality.
- I never got to grips with the double opt in. Apparently, I was the only one who had problems with this but, whatever it was, I had to abandon double opt in because I was losing too many leads. I even asked support for help but it still didn't work. I know I was doing something wrong but I also get the feeling that double opt in was an after thought that was added on, rather than built in from the start, and compared to the rest of HubSpot is pretty clunky.
- Sort of linked to my first point, HubSpot is expensive. Great fun, easy to use, does great things but still expensive. I'd like a cheaper version with all the main functionality but restricted in some way. As a very small business it's frightening to see my HubSpot bills. In some ways it's too big a system for us at this stage of our business, however, I can see that we could grow to utilise it a lot better. I just think that, with a few tweaks and imaginative pricing, we could grow a lot quicker, with less anxiety and then move on to the Professional package earlier and with far less trepidation than at present.
