Reviews
(326-350 of 654)Hubspot to the Rescue!
- User Interface is great and far simpler than other tools.
- Customer Support service is second to none!
- Dashboards provide a quick overview.
- Only complaint is there is no middle price tier between the mid-upper options.
Hubspot - Makes Marketing Automation a Dream!
- The social posting is great. You can easily preview posts before they are published.
- The blog tool is easy to use and includes a handy SEO checklist.
- Being able to preview emails and landing pages on different devices is very useful.
- Setting up custom signatures needs to be an easier process.
- It would be nice if all links were trackable automatically instead of having to set up trackable URL's and then set up lists based on those URL's.
HubSpot fanboy & his honest opinion
- The HubSpot COS is the best CMS I have every worked with.
- HubSpot works super intuitive and it is very easy to learn how to use the tools.
- The constant roll-out of product updates makes sure you are always working with the latest and greatest tools available.
- The connectivity is great. I can connect HubSpot with pretty much anything I would want to connect it to.
- I would like to have a place in the software where I see all my content combined. Not on landingpage, blogpost, social or campaign level; but just everything from everywhere.
- I think buyer persona's should have a more prominent place in the software and should come back in every content tool.
Simply stated: I am in love with the HubSpot platform
- Easy creation of landing pages, lead capture forms, thank you pages. I've never seen a platform make it so EASY.
- I love the smart list features that automate list management. I can't imagine trying to work without that. I've used other email platforms before, but I don't remember self-building lists being possible with anyone else.
- WORKFLOWS! Being able to drop a form submission directly into a workflow is tremendously helpful. It works to keep prospects warm until a salesperson can connect with them. Solid, easy-to-design workflows and even branching logic make it so easy to program an automated program.
- CUSTOMER SUPPORT is out of this world. EVERY TIME I reach out with a question, someone is there to help me. They are polite, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. I've never encountered a company in any industry with this level of service.
- I would like a new lifestyle cycle option "Former Customer" and also some free-form categories we can create to better segment our database.
The most popular marketing automation software in the world
- Setting up forms
- Segmenting contact lists
- A/B testing emails
- Branching logic is hard to visualize.
The sweet spot
We organize our information about prospects, leads, contacts and customers. Using HubSpot, we can qualify leads, blog and blog and more blog, and we can get some great nurture workflows going to keep the conversation alive with our customers after they download a resource (or webinar/demo, but we don't do very many of those yet).
Love it!
- Organization. They set sample flows and patterns. I just have to set it up and add my content.
- Tutorials. They have a lot and they are excellent.
- Support. Every time I have a question, they answer right away and actually have the answer.
- Onboarding. It's a LOT of services, names of features, etc.
- Learning Curve. See above...there's a lot going on and it takes a while to sort it out.
- HubSpot is trying to help me succeed as a marketing professional. Their support, training and thought leadership is geared toward my goals. They understand that marketing is about new business development and not just about features or "shiny objects".
- HubSpot has created a platform based on design and coding principals that are industry standards. This makes it easy for me, as a coder, to develop new templates or modify existing templates and modules. This also helps when hiring outside developers since they can easily grasp the framework.
- HubSpot's technical support is by far the best. I use many platforms and tools and HubSpot always answers the phone! Many of the other platforms I work on don't even have a phone number and force you to create a ticket that will be addressed when "they" have time. HubSpot understands that they need to support me when "I" have time.
- From time to time, it seems slow. I'm not sure if this is growing pains from their infrastructure, or my office's bandwidth, but I will hear from my content producers about their post not loading too quickly.
- It would be nice to have a multi-tagging feature where I can categorize my emails, landing pages, CTAs, etc. Currently I can only add them to a single campaign name.
- Sales Pipeline ability and dashboards.
HubSpot is Very Efficient
- Social Media Monitoring
- Social Media Publishing
- Emails
- Tracking and Analytics
- The ability to schedule from non-mainstream social media platforms
- The ability to track non-mainstream social media platforms
Creating Data-Driven Marketing
- Interface is easy to use and intuitive.
- Email editing is extremely easy to use for both design professionals and people who do not know how to code HTML.
- The social interface is extremely detail oriented and allows you to take your social tracking to the next level.
- SalesForce integration is not always intuitive.
- The training is not as streamlined as it could be.
Purchased HubSpot 5 Years Ago and Never Looked Back
- One centralized dashboard for tracking all of your marketing activities
- Checklist-style approach to ensuring that users are optimizing their pages, emails, etc. for SEO (a "for dummies" approach)
- Integration of CRM and marketing software eliminates data silos
- For users that have been HubSpot customers for a long time, the amount of content in the portal can be overwhelming. Better folder structures for workflows, lists, etc. would help to eliminate this clutter.
- More custom reporting would be nice. For example, I would love to be able to auto-generate an email to my sales team of all new leads that have converted in the last week.
- A lead rotator would be good. When new leads convert, it would be great to be able to auto-assign them to different salespeople on a pre-set rotation schedule.
HubSpot is a Hot-spot for Marketers!
- Customer Support- they are always there to help and get you answers and solutions to your problems.
- Easy UX- it requires little onboarding time for new users and makes it a great product to work in everyday.
- Resources- any question you have has probably already been asked and answered in a blog post, ebook, inforgraphic or something...and HubSpot provides you with more than enough resources to advance you both in their product and in your role.
- I would love if HubSpot had a collaborative way for employees to share easily to their social networks - not just those connected via admins.
- Landing page features- it would be great to have deeper design abilities for marketing collateral.
- Closed loop analytics. Unless every component of your marketing is tied into one place you'll never get an accurate "start to finish" view of your marketing. HubSpot does this better than any other I've seen.
- Intuitive interface. HubSpot's put a lot of effort into making their tool easy to use. I find this is where a lot of companies struggle. They make these tools so powerful, but operating them can also be a challenge. HubSpot's done this really well.
- Top notch service and support. If you do have problems or questions, support is a phone call away. I have never waited on hold longer than about 2-3 minutes and most times my calls are answered inside of 60 seconds. And the best thing about support is they'll roll up their sleeves and dive into the problem with you. They're not going to send you a link to a help article and move on to the next person like so many other companies do. Support is incredible.
- I'd really like to see a "library" where evergreen social updates (such as links to blog posts) can be stored and reused over and over on a set schedule. There are other social softwares that have this functionality and I find that so useful and such a time saver that I don't do all of our social publishing through HubSpot anymore.
- I think there is a disconnect between their package levels. The Basic level is pretty much useless because it lacks marketing automation and the ability to do drip sequences. That means that the entry level package really is at the Professional level but that's not always affordable for smaller businesses. The difference in price between Professional and Enterprise is ridiculous (sorry guys, I still love you!) There are some valuable tools in Enterprise but the jump in price isn't reflective of the added value in my opinion.
- There's room for improvement in the workflows. Creating a list that shows people who have completed a form is easy to do. Creating a list that shows people who have completed a form, and have NOT completed any other forms is not so easy to do. Some competitor platforms have introduced tagging where behaviours and activities can trigger the system to apply a tag to a contact record. Marketing automation can then be triggered by tags. This opens up a ton of possibilities and might be worth looking at.
First and foremost having all tools related to blogging, social media, SEO, email marketing and analytics all in one place. This is a timesaver. I used to jump between at least 10 different tools to do what I do in HubSpot. I love the dashboard to get a quick pulse on how my month of marketing is going. I love that their tools are built to be persona driven and campaigns can be organized around your personas. It helps us in the areas of lead generation, better content, more content, more efficient work, increased productivity and better organization. In the first 4 months using this platform we were able to generate the amount of leads we did in the previous 12. AND it is more organized, we know more about these leads, we know more about their conversion path, and we are passing more context to our sales team when we seamlessly pass them off to our sales team using the HubSpot CRM. Currently our marketing department, our safety team, our client service team, our underwriting team and our sales team have all had involvement with the tool. Our sales team also uses the HubSpot CRM.
I love the ability to create complex workflows using automation based on any set of complex events and triggers I want based on what contacts have done and what we know about them. Workflows have transformed our lead nurturing program using targeted automated email lead nurturing. Huge time saver. I think HubSpot also perfectly blends the art of delivering an incredible tool that is their platform, but just as important is their ability to deliver the inbound training and support to make sure their clients are successful at using the tool.
- Workflows - time saving, better lead nurturing
- Organizing initiatives - on a persona level, a campaign level, budget, keyword, landing page, everything can be synced up and integrated.
- Content - their academy area, training, support, hubstars, its all amazing to help you create better content and the tool itself helps you create and implement better content.
- Email - their mass email tools and analytics are very strong.
- Reporting - quick easy reporting. fun to use.
- Dashboard - navigation - intuitive - fast - clean
- Use behavior tracking and analytics
- Smart content
- CTA's, landing pages and forms
- User management, roles, and access could be better refined
- Landing page features and customizing, creating your own templates more easily
- SEO tools
- Reporting related to revenue and ROI

- Advice
- Integration with other systems

Thanks HubSpot!
- Managing tasks that would otherwise by hugely time consuming such as setting up automated work flow emails.
- Again providing tools to massively customise emails to make them your own using 'design manager'.
- Lists and other tools provided to manage vast amounts of contacts saves time and requires only one person to organise them. all.
- Me and a colleague feel that the amount of different tabs required to be open for certain tasks could be reduced by quite a lot in some case, each tool required is important and works well... they should just be a little more condensed. For example when designing an email recently we had about 4 different tabs open, all to do different things.
- Glitches in how contacts' information is presented often seem to occur, as in the properties switch around making it difficult to find what you are looking for sometimes!
- I genuinely can't think of any more!
TrustRadius Trusts HubSpot

Engaging internal stakeholders through HubSpot
- HubSpot has enabled us to elevate digital marketing with our senior executive leadership from the responsibility of one expert to an established process methodology being rolled out globally as the gold standard of how to move to a new vision of digital supported by print. We have the data to prove it in the form of interactions, followers and tangible leads.
- HubSpot has provided onsite training to our budding HubStars. This included direct research with the teams on how they were utilizing it and how this could be improved. They are now working directly to follow-up with those that attended the training.
- I would like to be able to respond to Twitter comments through the HubSpot app on my phone
- I would like to be able to monitor use of hashtags through HubSpot
I love HubSpot!
- Provides an organized marketing platform that keeps many of our marketing tools in one centralized location.
- The variety of integrations available for HubSpot makes using multiple marketing tools easy...GoToWebinar, Zapier, Wistia, SurveyMonkey, etc.
- Provides excellent training materials, industry news, best practices, and customer support.
- Social monitoring expanded to more than just Twitter.
- Workflow enhancements for GoToWebinar integration.
- Automatic list exports... I would love to be able to select lists that I would like exported and emailed to me on a reoccurring basis
Very User Friendly!
- Attribution reporting - this enables better campaign planning and management
- Marketing management - from beginning to end, implementing a campaign is super easy
- Competitive analysis - the competitor tool is so easy to use, and the dashboard gives a quick-glance look at how you compare
- Some of the more advanced development features. It would be fantastic if there was a little more room for customization in the blog post editor.
Why I Love Hubspot!
- HubSpot is easy to learn how to use. As a result not a lot of training is necessary to get up and running quickly.
- I really love being able to see the results of our marketing efforts in the HubSpot dashboards. With their dashboards, it is easy to compare the results for email and landing pages and to figure which ones worked the best and which ones didn't. This makes it simple to repeat your successes and avoid duplicating your mistakes.
- HubSpot is constantly offering educational experiences to help users learn how to use the product more effectively. Their blog always provides great information and helps me to keep up with the consistently changing technology of the internet. This education helps me to be a better marketer and as result, helps me to create more effective marketing programs that generate more awareness of my brand and generate more leads.
- I really can't think of any areas that are in need of improvement. HubSpot is constantly improving and upgrading it's software. I used to think that eventually I would need to move to another Marketing Automation software, but because HubSpot is always evolving, I no longer feel this way.
When You're Not a Marketing Genius -- Try using a System that is and teaches you to be one.
We use HubSpot internally and with an implementation partner. It is nice because we can see all relevant flows, processes to enhance each other's work and avoid overlaps.
- We can write, load and schedule our blogs for a significant period of our marketing calendar for B2C and B2B and both.
- We can write load and schedule our social media activities to correspond with both our corporate marketing calendar and posts for specific events for our own or our resellers participation. This lets our B2B exposure improve to put our brand in front of the consumer market through other channels.
- We can integrate forms from HubSpot with Goldmine, our CRM system, so we are able to maintain complete history of all activities with a client or customer but still keep the pre-defined flow for marketing communications.
- HubSpot training programs are excellent ways for learning and using the product and also to add value for an employee.
- There are some ways HubSpot performs its actions that make it necessary for us to purchase additional functionality in other products we have used for much longer in order to integrate. Changing the way it works in these instances would provide us easier implementation and allow us to utilize it more completely.
- HubSpot's latest initiative to become our CRM system interferes with a CRM system which has MANY years worth of data, including links to documents, While I understand the need for some CRM "functionality" in a product like HubSpot, it is not comprehensive enough to be my CRM system.
- Integration with more social media platforms to address the changing consumer usage. For example, the shift of many age groups away from Facebook to Instagram.
I love HubSpot
- Great technical support. I can't say enough about this. The software is fabulous but the many features that make it great also make it complicated. I've been using it for 6 years and I still contact support often. They help me solve problems as well as talk me through new ideas I want to implement.
- They are good listeners and are always improving the product with customer feedback. I remember a few years ago there was some issue where they stumbled in the advance communication of a change. The customer base went crazy. Right after that, they instituted a methodical communication program and I can't remember being surprised at anything since then.
- The software adds to your productivity. In another review I gave years ago, I said that it was like adding an additional person or two to your staff.
- They have a strange way of reporting when a prospect was converted to a customer. Even though they have explained it me numerous times, I can't keep it in my head because it doesn't really make sense. They report the conversion to customer on the day the customer first converted as a prospect, not on the day of the sale. I still don't get why.
Fantastic product and thought leadership.
- Accurate reporting, great visual aids, and the company also provides informative whitepapers and case studies.
- The SEO module provides great analytics, however, it only gives you a piece of the puzzle. Having another analytics solution such as Google Analytics would help fill in the puzzle pieces, such as tracking your inbound campaigns via a CID.
HubSpot made our Web Experience Profitable and Easy
- Easy to use - From setting up web pages to updating data HubSpot is very easy to use
- Great proactive support staff - Our company representative Jared Brewer is awesome. He knows our business and pushes us enough to get us to make things happen.
- All in one - It really is an all in one platform. Blog, Social Media, etc all in one place.
- Great analytics - We get to run the reports the way we want them when we want them.
- Daily updates - Emails from HubSpot on a daily basis so we can track what we are doing online.
- It takes a while to get to know your way around. Once you have done it a few times it is very easy.
- Support different platforms like Dreamweaver from Adobe
HubSpot is Dope - Dig It
The contacts database is very robust. Custom contact attributes allowed us to capture information that is relevant to our digital B2C marketing efforts. Every form submitted on our website was integrated with HubSpot's API (thanks to a ton of help from their outrageously supportive tech team). This allows me to segment based on store id, geo region, or customer type, for more segmented emailing. The contact reports aren't just email addresses like you would find on Constant Contact or Mail Chimp, every touch is recorded whether it was on the website, email, or social media.
- Content Calendar - Combines all of the content generating tools into a simply laid out calendar. Plan and assign blog posts, social media updates, email blasts, and see it all in one large view. Then click into each content creating app and begin working. Summarizes the swiss-army knife ease of HubSpot's assorted marketing tools.
- Customer Support - Personalized inbound training goes above and beyond what you would expect. Reps are very attentive to all of the details of your account, and find innovative ways to apply the inbound methodology to your specific company. The HubSpot Academy is AMAZING - providing hours of video on the philosophy and practice of inbound marketing with HubSpot. If you pay enough attention, you can get HubSpot certified like me!
- Social Media - Publish to 200 accounts in a few clicks. Monitor Twitter for prospects and engage with users talking about your product or industry. Create reports to show your boss the traffic is worth the time.
- Location Management - Would love to see a way to manage search engine listings like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc... Publishing store information to business directories is a big part of inbound marketing missing from this software suite.
- Managing images and uploaded files is difficult and time consuming. Wish there was a way to integrate with my Dropbox so renaming and organizing doesn't absorb hours.
- Design Manager for email templates, forms, and landing pages still has a lot of room for improvement. Difficult tool to learn for someone without a background in HTML/CSS and little support from reps or academy.
