Marketo has more functionality and behavioral triggers as well as more program customization for reporting purposes. RTP and Content AI also distinguish Marketo from other platforms. I have used Salesforce platforms for marketing automation and while useful because of their one to one integration with Salesforce, Marketo offers greater potential abilities.

Adobe Marketo Engage is way better than other tools I've used. I like to compare it to Excel - it has all the basic tools and it's up to you to arrange them in a meaningful way. The same goal can be achieved in lots of different ways, so you can let your creativity loose.

Adobe Marketo Engage is more flexible and provides more advanced functionality. Adobe Marketo Engage allows you to better grow with the platform as you mature and evolve your digital marketing campaigns and processes. Adobe Marketo Engage provides more flexibility with regard to doing more advanced campaigns and really being creative from both a technical and marketing standpoint.

It is hard to compare Mailchimp with Adobe Marketo Engage because the ladder is far superior, customisable, complex and can handle our database size - which is very big. In my opinion, Mailchimp's software has a better design and it is more intuitive, which makes it a far better experience when focusing on the user.

This includes customizing workflows, campaigns, and landing pages. It's also better on integration as Marketo Engage integrates with a wide range of other Adobe products, as well as other third-party tools and platforms. This enables organizations to create a more seamless and integrated marketing technology stack.

I worked with Acoustic (Watson or IBM) MailChimp, cEvent. For our current organization Marketo is for sure the best fit. I feel like MailChimp would probably be more suitable for smaller crowds. We also use MailChimp for some other side of our business, so I do have to know day-to-day basis. But again Marketo has much more functionality. It has better insights into the customer journey and more of the contract info. We can actually create different campaigns and we can provide tokens and we have a better view and understanding of the user. So we can target user much better, but with a benefit to the actual user and to make sure that they are getting what they need instead of getting multiple emails. That's just because now they're getting one email that is just for them. So definitely Marketo stands out for many, many reasons. Cvent, it's event based platform. However, I also used that for another organization that was a non-profit, and again it was great. It was a lot of managing. Had different aspects that maybe Marketo does not really provide that much or maybe I just didn't really get into it yet. But it was just built much differently than Marketo. So I think Marketo, the way it's structured, as I mentioned before, is a little bit clunky on the user end, but it also provides a lot of opportunities for the user to kind of go and tackle the different aspects. If it's a journey, if it's a form, if it's a landing page, if it's an email, you do have that flexibility to kind of work with all of that.

I think the only thing that comes close is Eloqua because most of the companies that I've been part of is enterprise level. I've been part of some SMEs and that's when solutions like Pardot is okay. But once you go enterprise, I think Eloqua is the one that stacks up really well.

I think that Acton and HubSpot were more limited. They had some weird quirks about them. And like I said, Marketo has just so many different things that you can do. And it's not just drag and drop for everything. You can make it completely personalized, you can use scripts. It's really good.

Marketo gives Marketing the power to harness the information in your CRM System. It can be as complex or simple as you need, depending on your maturity level with automation. I cannot image using anything other than Marketo to grow my company.

So we migrated to Marketo from Salesforce Marketing Cloud which was just too simple of a product and difficult to use and didn't have a lot of functionality that we needed. This has definitely been a huge upgrade for us from Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Then when we were looking at other marketing automation platforms, we were looking at HubSpot and some of those I think the most kind of smaller marketing automation platforms. They just didn't seem to be able to accommodate a business of our size and for how much we email.

It's definitely robust and it has more features, capabilities, and a lot more user familiarity for me maybe because I got hooked onto Marketo pretty soon. But I've heard people having really good challenges working on Marketo versus, I would say Outreach with HR easier for a non-marketing operations person.

Marketo is the most flexible automation product compared to any other software solution I've tried. If you can imagine it, you can do it in Marketo. I found other software more limited in functionality. That being said, it takes a full team to run Marketo. So if you are on limited resources I HIGHLY recommend using a different program.

Adobe Marketo Engage gives out the best reports. Adobe Marketo Engage provides great flexibility in setting up the Scoring and Grading model. Adobe Marketo Engage also provides various options to customize the landing page templates and email templates. Dynamic content usage has always proven to be very personalized for the customer experience. Lead tracking is an easy process.
