Hootsuite Pro is great, but in a simple way. HubSpot takes you ten steps beyond what Hootsuite can provide. HubSpot has revolutionized social media management. I am able to manage all my clients accounts in one place. I can quickly create analytic reports for my team. And I love that I can now incorporate HubSpot into my web browser. If I catch an article online that I want to tweet, I can do it from there without reverting back to HubSpot.

HubSpot is more user-friendly and more comprehensive than other inbound marketing platforms. They do a better job of putting everything you need in one place and making that information accessible. In addition, HubSpot is constantly making positive improvements to its platform. HubSpot's training and customer support are over and above anything I have ever experienced with the other companies.

I used Salesforce for a short time at a previous job - I have never been more confused in my life! The most basic package allowed me to only put prospective clients into a database for email marketing purposes, but that's it's only use. HubSpot takes it many steps further and actually shows where the lead is through the buying process - through CTAs, website clicks, email clicks, etc. It sets us up and our clients up to capture the lead at the perfect position in the buying process.

I first heard of HubSpot a few years ago but the organization I was with could not afford it. But I continued to receive their emails/read their reports and have no doubt that they are the industry leader in web marketing expertise. Constant Contact has good reporting and their templates are solid but it is frustrating to not have the content from other areas of web marketing already there when I need it.

The Content Department has not used similar software. However, we formerly used Weebly as a web and blog-hosting service. HubSpot by far surpasses the abilities of Weebly. However, HubSpot is not as easy to use, and can often take more time to format, post and publish blogs. We have since moved the majority of our clients to HubSpot for its superior analytical data and lead conversion tools.

HubSpot's user interfaces are what sets them apart for me. I find myself getting lost inside Salesforce -- I just don't think it's easy to navigate. I feel that I would need a lot more training to master Pardot, whereas HubSpot is really intuitive.

Pardot and Marketo. In my opinion, Hubspot should not even be classified in the same competitive bracket because they address "inbound marketing", rather than marketing automation. Pardot and Marketo focus more on automating the online marketing experience. Yes. that's important, but the new digital buyer is connected to everything and Hubspot addresses this better. They've built, from the ground up, a platform that addresses, CMS, CRM, Social, Email, Reporting, Testing and Personalization. Neither Pardot nor Marketo have this formula. They are trying to catch up now...

We selected Hubspot because our VP of Marketing was an expert user in the product and had a lot of background in the value it brought to the business. In addition, we 100% believe that inbound marketing is the future of marketing, and Hubspot is the leader when it comes to inbound marketing. Marketo is great software, but Hubspot is easier to learn and helps us leverage our time and optimize conversions and new trials, despite a limited amount of time.

HubSpot surpasses these applications as it truly helps you capture leads at all stages of the buying journey. It helps you know how to funnel the leads down, and really lets you embrace the top of the funnel leads so you can nurture them all the way through. The others say they can do this, but I have found that HubSpot is really the only one to capture the Inbound Methodology and bottle it up in the easiest form possible.

HubSpot has all the functionality and sometimes more, and is cheaper. It is more specifically created for an inbound content marketing context. The support teams were warmer and more knowledgable than representatives from the competitors we spoke with. HubSpot felt like the right fit for our company at the time and has continued to deliver.
