(51-75 of 452)Another Happy HubSpot User
- HubSpot's support team is second to none!
- HubSpot does a great job of tracking all of your traffic.
- This tool has allowed us to show the real importance of inbound marketing through real results!
- There are some aspects of HubSpot that are not very user friendly.... If there is a coding problem, you are usually on the phone with support to get everything fixed/figured out.
- Sometimes HubSpot takes a long time to load/do the action that you have just requested. This is mainly for creating large lists and workflows.
- The salesforce integration is available, but isn't seamless. You are sometimes left doing workflow to workflow to make sure that all of your data matches up.
So far, so great! Give HubSpot a try!
- HubSpot support is great. They're always available (till 8pm EST) and ready to answer the simplest to the most detailed questions.
- The ability to craft and edit web pages using COS is time-saving. If you want to add a social following section to your site, for example, you simply click ADD MODULE and select SOCIAL FOLLOWING. Pretty cool!
- HubSpot Academy is a great way to learn anything relevant to HubSpot and/or inbound marketing. They start with the basics and move on up!
- The INBOUND events in Boston are amazing. Too much to learn in such a short time but love every second of it!
- Responds to ideas and requests from us - the users. Over the years, hundreds of product enhancements have made HubSpot even better!
- The "dashboard" is pretty busy, to say the least. Lots of menus and submenus. As a new user, I sometimes feel lost.
- Making changes to a web page can sometimes be tricky. For example, you might think changing the wording of a menu item would be simple. However you find the wording of the menu item isn't tied to a particular page at all, but a template. You then have to search for the correct template to make edits.
- For some reason, a lot of the emails HubSpot generates (our leads, the HubSpot blog, etc.) are marked as spam. We had to whitelist all HubSpot IP addresses within our email servers. Update - this is still a huge issue with HubSpot.
- Sometimes HubSpot thinks bigger than they can swiftly deliver. They're giving all COS clients HTTPS capabilities but it's taking forever to roll out. But still, kudos for engineering and onboarding this!
- Reports adds on should really be free. Our client wants these basic reports that are supposed to be free but aren't.
HubSpot GSD "gets s.... done"
We now use HubSpot for everything - albeit we are still only just scratching the surface of its capabilities. I just love it and my stress levels have gone down hugely. (Even though I have a strong technical background, the prior two years we tried to get a website working with a developer and failed - we junked the whole thing and got up-and-working on HubSpot in just a few weeks).
The other thing that's great about HubSpot is that there are so many skilled and talented people who work in the HubSpot community, so getting excellent help at very affordable cost is now so easy. Any small organisation - who wants to look like they have a "big organisation" budget can really benefit.
In learning how to use HubSpot, you also learn how to "do" inbound marketing. The support is fast, knowledgeable and enthusiastic so you never get stuck.
- Content loading is a cinch. And the templates make it easy for everyone to keep to a consistent look and feel.
- Emails are easy to set up and send to your list.
- Ease of use - even non technical people can load content and use the HubSpot tools - it's so easy to onboard new people to using HubSpot.
- It has the wonderful quality of being both easy to start with and then rich enough to keep you going.
- Honestly - its so much better than all the "stuff" I was using previously - at the moment I can't think of a "con".
Give it a go - you won't regret it!!
- CRM - the capabilities within the CRM, (which is free) are amazing, especially considering that it is free. We were paying for a different CRM software, and it didn't have half the capabilities that HubSpot's CRM has. Clean looking, and easy to use, the uptake from the sales team to use it was super quick and there haven't been any complaints about it.
- Reporting - essential to our board members and upper management, the reporting add on is great and gives you a great overview of the business.
- Marketing - integration with the CRM means there is no loss of information between the two products. Creating campaigns is easy and can give you some great results and insight into what works and what doesn't work.
- CRM & Reporting - there is no multi-currency currently which makes it hard as we operate over several countries.
- CRM - currently no parent-child accounts which makes it hard to manage partner channel sales.
- User experience, step-by-step instructions (video, guides, help desk, AMs, relationship managers) which make it an easy transition and easy-to-use software
- HubSpot culture is awesome! The team are passionate, part of your business and love the brand. This makes the partnership 110% The culture and community draw you in and make you feel part of something bigger.
- Blogging platform is important for us and our clients. HubSpot makes it easy to draft, edit, publish and measure blogs. It is also simple to create and both CTAs and SEO are a built-in functionality.
- The workflow functionality is simple and effective. The new developments fro 2017 will make usability even easier
- Seamless integration between the CRM, HubSpot Marketing and HubSpot Sales
- The reporting has room for improvement but currently delivers what we need.
Great marketing tool
- Form is a great tool to generate leads and collect information.
- Workflow works well with form and emails to automate lead generation process.
- Email works with customer segmentation of any kind to create meaningful and highly targeted campaigns.
- The only thing I can think of (for our use case) is that HubSpot doesn't yet support native integration with some of our Saas platform like BigCommerce, Olark...

Warning: I am a total Hubspot fan :)
- Landing page and design manager is great. I really enjoy the hosted environment, and the templating features with the flexibility of A/B testing. That's a bit of a word salad, but it's a true statement! We have a general landing page design, and from there we can create multiple landing pages from the same template, and then A/B test offers or CTA's based on the traffic source going to that landing page is incredibly simple.
- Automated follow up sequences are great. We found it was easier to use the features built into Hubspot for our automated follow up sequences when certain actions happen on the site. This is one of the best features about Hubspot and their marketing automation features--in my humble opinion of course!
- Reporting could be a lot better. Especially when Hubspot says they "support" the standard URL parameters, that's only partially true. We end up having to setup 2 tracking systems side by side, generally it's Hubspot + Google Analytics, because Hubspot will only use utm_source and utm_medium for categorizing traffic, and the utm_content parameter, which I use heavily in PPC campaigns for distinguishing between ad copy variations. With Hubspots reporting, unless you use the parameters exactly (and only) the way they tell you, the reports will be messed up. Unlike Google Analytics which I can pump any data I want into it using those same parameters and then manipulate it anyway I want. This is my biggest gripe about Hubspot! Facebook PPC seems to be the hardest to have Hubspot categorize correctly, it always ends up showing up under regular social traffic (even when you use Hubspots suggested parameters).
Working with HubSpot
- The ability to attract strangers and grow the pipeline.
- Manage what is working and what isn't working with email, social and the web.
- Provide proof that marketing efforts are driving sales.
- Manage online presence in one spot.
- They are always changing the platform, it is easy to use but gets annoying always learning a new UI.
- Improve social publishing. Publishing directly from sites has more features than HubSpot.
- Integrate other social platforms.
Working in a single system with HubSpot saved our team from a lot of double work and allowed every member access to a single source of information (avoiding miscommunications and outdated data). It was also much more convenient to log into one place and be able to see all the marketing statistics (e.g. site visits, email opens) and reach the necessary marketing tools in one place.
- Having all your marketing tools in one place provides your marketing team a lot of convenience, and saves them time switching back and forth between platforms.
- Giving your team a single source of truth prevents double work, miscommunications, and outdated data.
- HubSpot does particularly well with their dashboards and statistics. The Sources report allows you to monitor your website's traffic performance so you can monitor whether recent marketing steps you have taken are effective.
- HubSpot gives helpful tips when publishing pages and blog posts, so that you can follow best practice and improve your SEO.
- The drag and drop page builder and preview tools are useful for a beginner at web design.
- Many members of the support team are responsive and helpful in resolving technical inquiries and issues.
- HubSpot is constantly being tweaked, with existing features modified or removed, and new features added. This is both a pro and a con - usually the changes are for the better, but are often jarring and without warning.
- I often encountered bugs when I first started using the software, the social media publishing tool in particular.
- Customising your site is not so easy, particularly if you are using the page building tools and are a beginner at website design.
- Some members of the support team were less helpful with addressing problems encountered and would close support tickets before anything was resolved.
HubSpot Convert
- The sources tracking in HubSpot is excellent. We had tried other marketing automation platforms and had to use a variety of tools to try to track where exactly each lead came from. This was way easier with HubSpot and all of the data flows into the sources report.
- Building landing pages is a definite strong point for HubSpot. The COS is really easy to use and having the ability to build customizable modules is really helpful as it allows less tech-savvy employees to quickly build out landing pages.
- Reporting is strong with the new reporting add on. The ability to build out a dashboard with templated or custom reports and email that dashboard to a group of people each reporting period saves a lot of time.
- I would like to see ROI calculations based on revenue amounts pulled from opportunities within the CRM.
- There is no built-in search for the blog, but there is a Google search module available.
Everything in place!
- Easy to use
- Great support
- Great tracking and analytics
- More AI and prediction tools
Less appropriate: a big business that needs more advanced features, like multi-lingual websites, more advanced CRM etc.
Tools and education in one platform
- Content management
- Building landing pages
- Editorial calendar
- Landing page templates
- Conversion tracking
- Social media publication is so easy. You can link blog posts right in the tool, even share landing pages or images already in the file manager.
- The blogging tool is great. It easily gives you an outline of what should be done before you publish and you can easily see SEO tips as you get the post ready.
- Email marketing is simple in the hubspot tool. It clearly shows the workflows and makes it easy for a person who doesn't know much about email marketing.
- The spell check is not great. It doesn't recognize many common words and doesn't give suggestions when you slightly misspell a word.
- The blogging functionality changes regularly. It's difficult to have to relearn the tool twice a year, even if the changes are making the tool easier to use overall.
HubSpot Review
- Hubspot does Marketing automation very well.
- In their system it is very easy to determine your customers buyer journey and then build nurture workflows around that that help compliment/improve your buyers journey.
- The CRM side of things. It is a free CRM so you can't complain too much, however its primary purpose is just as a sales CRM (so it is not a true CRM like a Salesforce).
HubSpot - a marketers lifesaver!
- Easy to use
- Great support team
- Marketing and sales all in one place
- CRM is a new feature implemented in past few years so it is lacking some features - however HubSpot is quick to add new features regularly and it has become a much more powerful tool in the last few months.
HubSpot Review from B2B marketing exec
- Online training academy and certifications - Provide step-by-step videos/classes to help you implement what you want to achieve
- In depth analytics and data collection
- In depth customer timeline that tracks every communication you exchange
- In order to pass some certifications, you have to submit a practical assessment. This can often take a while to be graded and returned to you. Some modules remain locked until you have received the practicum back, causing delays in getting certified.
- Add-ons through HubSpot are expensive, some clients do not want to pay out for these extras.
- Links sometimes break on blog posts.
Definitely worth the investment!
1. Scaleability: We run our marketing like a much bigger company with pretty impressive results with a single person. We couldn't do any of that before HubSpot, and now it's manageable and sustainable.
2. Site Management: I'm able to create and maintain a great site all by myself, with very little technical knowledge.
- Training new customers. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, and I'm no marketing expert, but HubSpot makes it easy to learn about using the product AND about marketing strategies.
- Making the interface intuitive. If I can't automatically figure out how to do something, it's pretty easy to figure out how to learn how.
- Customer support when reaching out with questions. The team does a great job of following up in a positive and encouraging way, offering to help at every turn, and supporting us in anything we need.
- It gives us awesome metrics that are really helpful in figuring out how our efforts are going, and what we should focus our next efforts on.
- It's difficult to search for materials in the HubSpot Academy and make sure you're turning up all relevant materials. SOMETHING always comes up, but since I find other materials elsewhere, I don't think I actually get everything.
- The webinars provide good information, but it takes them way too long to get to the point - I could cut out two thirds of what's said in the webinar and still get all of the relevant information that I need.
- It would be nice if the information covered in the webinars were provided succinctly somewhere else, so I could just read the info. without listening to the chatting.
- I have a hard time figuring out the new interface when they make a big change - it would help if they put out short product videos showing what the differences are, and convincing me that they're better than the old way (maybe they already do this and I miss it?)
A Good Product for Digital Marketing
It is helpful to me as a one-person marketing team so that I can manage our database of leads, email, landing pages, and social media all in one place. It's too early to tell how it's helping us on the CRM side of things, but we do like that our CRM and our marketing tool is now under one roof, so to speak.
- Email marketing. It helps with automated RSS emails (from our blog), and provides more and more detailed reporting of how the emails fared (how, when, and where they were read), how they get sent, and making sure they look and perform as best they can.
- Social media. I've noticed using things I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else from the Monitoring portion. Scheduling social media is nice.
- Database management. There are tons of ways to segment leads.
- Social media scheduling. I wish HubSpot would suggest days and times to help your social media get the most amplification.
- Similar to social media, I wish HubSpot would suggest times and days for email engagement.
- No dedicated support for our business. We used to have it, but now we don't.
If you want to generate leads, this is your tool
We are a small business and we work with startups, so our number one challenge is generating enough leads. Hubspot helps us automate that process and makes lead generation simple. We've met or exceeded our client's lead generation goals ever since implementing Hubspot.
- Hubspot is easier to use than most of the other marketing tools I've used. My training was quick and I was up and running with the tool (with a few questions, but still) in a month or less.
- Hubspot does exactly what we need it to—help us DRIVE LEADS. If you are looking to boost inbound efforts, this is the tool to use. The tool is organized in a way that makes lead gen marketing very simple.
- As a company, I think Hubspot does an awesome job providing resources to the people that use the tool. Whether it's their blog, offers, trainings and more, they really care about developing their customers.
- Hubspot definitely has its glitches and can be a little buggy at times.
- Hubspot's reports leave something to be desired. I especially think the keywords report could be a bit more flexible in terms of giving data history.
- The Hubspot and SFDC integration is rough because Hubspot operates on the contact level and SFDC operates on the account level. Many of our clients use Salesforce, so this is a bit of a headache for us.
Agency HubSpot Review
HubSpot helps us to manage complete closed-loop inbound marketing and sales campaigns. This includes working as our CRM, content management platform and more: paid ad campaigns, social selling activity, email workflows; almost everything can be managed through through the platform.
- Inbound education. As founders of the inbound methodology - you would expect that!
- Close loop management and reporting - and increasinly, more and more integrations are available.
- User experience is clean, simple and easy.
- Better social media monitoring would be nice - although it is already comprehensive and trackable.
- More integrations - though these are coming!
- More defined difference when moving between client portals would be helpful.
Hubspot - Easy to Use Interface
- Landing Pages can be set up quickly, the ability to clone and make minor changes and make basic design changes is important to get emails and forms implemented fast and in real time.
- List creation can be set up by static list and automated lists that are generated from forms.
- Forms allow for quick integration into the landing pages. Smart Forms allow for gathering of additional information from contacts that are already in the database.
- New forms have been added and more templates
- Customer Service is good. Respond quickly to emails and also can answer questions on phone to keep projects moving forward.
- More integration of contacts into the email platform to allow for quicker searching.
- Email folders by campaign for archiving of old campaigns
- Better way to tag photos and find photos that have been used in previous emails rather than just by image.
