Reviews
(301-325 of 654)Spotlight on HubSpot: This product "Shines!"
- Customer Service: IT ROCKS! I'll speak of submitting questions via email - they are answered within 15 minutes and they walk you through understanding the issue and help you to solve it. Great customer service is hard to come by - not having to go through 5+ hoops to get through to a person that can help you is a HUGE asset to customers of HubSpot.
- Tracking of Campaigns: I LOVE this feature. Creating and using tracking codes is so simple. Being able to go into a specific campaign and gather information about its performance has proved invaluable when reporting to leadership.
- Training: Their training is so down to earth and easy. It will have you setting things up quickly and effortlessly.
- Updating of Files: If you need to make a change to a file you've uploaded, there is a lag-time and you don't see them right away.
- Tracking Codes - reading them: I think there should be more fields to enter information about the tracking code being created. You also cannot edit content after it is created. Instead in order to make a change you need to delete and create a new one.
- Lists: There seems to be a lag time in uploading and the counts. Also - when reviewing, there looks as if there are errors to the list but I never question since the counts - when they come in - are close enough.
HubSpot is pretty awesome!
- HubSpot is great for sending emails and then seeing the email performance. It goes one step further than many email sending services because it ties all email activity back to an individual contact record.
- I also really love the list performance tool in HubSpot. It is really cool to see how a list is growing (or shrinking) and see how contacts on that list are interacting with you (shows email opens, contacts who have visited your site, etc.)
- The workflows tool is great - I can set up automated emails to go out based on a contact property, joining lists, and more.
- HubSpot just released new editing tools for email, web pages, landing pages. Like anything new, it takes some getting used to. I don't really love it yet...but may change my mind at some point.
- HubSpot also released a new list building tool. I don't like it because it is hard to see what is already included as criteria on your list while you are working on adding additional criteria.
- Unless you buy in at the enterprise level, you don't get access to some of the better reports. They just added a reporting add-on...but that also costs $$.
Great UI, Support, and Functionality
- They constantly improve their product which is great -- they've offered some really impressive new features in the past year.
- Their system is very intuitive and easy to navigate.
- Their support and training is top notch -- you definitely don't feel alone!
- Their reporting isn't great, I still like using SFDC to do reporting.
#1 Marketing and Sales tool
We have generated more than $ 2mil in sales for our customers in 2015 by implementing inbound strategies and using the HubSpot tool.
Very Important: The tool is not magic, you need to do the work and set the strategy and follow the methodology that HubSpot no only recommends but also teaches you through their education series. If you do all that and your business is a good fit for Inbound Marketing you wont be disappointed.
- Great reporting, can really close the loop and prove ROI.
- Integrate everything, email, blogs, social.
- Awesome new add-ons for reporting and ads
- Link Building (having the ability to do link building from the tool would be great)
Great Tool for Inbound Marketing Success
- Management of digital marketing campaigns in a single place.
- Great onboarding consulting (go with the advanced package).
- Great focus on an inbound approach to marketing.
- SEO tools for page optimization, comparison, and keyword research.
- Efficient social medial management tools.
- Basic reporting is limited, and more robust reporting is a paid add-on.
- Workflows aren't as robust as some tools out there, but they are improving.
- Technical onboarding support could be better.
HubSpot an all in one platform with CRM
- Total "all-in-one" solution. HubSpot addresses email, social, lead nurturing, workflows, website building and maintenance as well as CRM capabilities.
- Education. HubSpot provides all of it's users with an unprecedented level of support. In short, they want you to understand the importance of inbound marketing just as much as they want you to use their software.
- Trend setting. HubSpot understands what users need because they listen. They are constantly improving the product based on user feedback. In doing so, their trend forecasting is far above average.
- Unless you are working with a VAR (value added reseller) setup can be daunting. Expect to invest a lot of time up front.
- Yes, one person can execute a strategy with HubSpot right out of the box, but don't expect to be able to hit every bullet point at 100%. Even seasoned marketing professionals will have a hard time taking advantage of every feature without the aid of outside skill sets.
- Design. There is always room for improvement in the design space. The platform has gotten infinitely better at allowing design professionals to manipulate elements, but out of the box, you still have that "HubSpotty" look and feel.
Hubspot = the best!
- Always improving user experience and adding new features - the communication about these features is also seemless
- I love the Blog - I look forward to it - there are so many great articles, some hilarious, some useful and many more
- Customer service and getting help when needed. I"ve had a few experiences with different forms of support and each time it has been consistent and they've solved my problems.
- Don't love the new email and web builder layouts as they change frequently
HubSpot provides all of the tools for an efficient marketer.
- HubSpot's best feature is the email workflow tool. Contacts are sent personalized emails based on actions they take with each email they receive.
- HubSpot's Enterprise reporting capabilities are outstanding. It allows companies to pinpoint exactly which pages and activities generated the highest revenue. Companies no longer have to guess with marketing initiatives were successful for future investments.
- HubSpot's social monitoring is excellent. The tool displays all engagement in one place, eliminating the need to rely on other social media monitoring tools.
- HubSpot's blogging tool needs further development. The customization options are not as robust as other platforms and it takes long to load content.
Full Marketing Automation Tools Without The Painful Pricetag
- Customer Service. I cannot praise this part of the company enough. If you ever have an issue with the product or don't know how to use a tool, they will go out of their way to help you fix it.
- The HubSpot COS (Content Optimization System) is an incredibly powerful tool that can be used to create beautiful, dynamic website in that make it easy for non-coders to easily edit pages and content without the help of those strange coding geeks.
- Research and Development. HubSpot is continuously finding new things to improve and integrate into their tools to help marketers better create and promote content to their potential buyers.
- User Education. Through their blog, content offers (ebooks, webinars, etc.) and other educational elements, HubSpot is always working to better educate their users on the newest trends and best marketing practices out there.
- Reporting. The reporting tools leave a little to be desired when you want to dive deep into different things such as devices people are using to view your website and average time on pages. Thankfully, it looks like they're starting to work on building out more serious tools so hopefully this will change soon!
- Automated Workflows. The current layout is not as easy to set up as other marketing automation systems and doesn't provide as many options when it comes to if/then scenarios and time-sensitive options.
Questions to ask:
-Do you have full marketing goals or plans for this tool? (versus just wanting something to post social stuff with)
-Do you have the time to spend digging into the tool and all of the different features and benefits you can receive from it?
HubSpot - best software ever!
HubSpot is the best thing that has happened to me. I started off using HubSpot's Marketing Grader tool (which I love). Then I completed the Inbound and Design Certifications and after that I started using HubSpot full-time. The products are all great. Sidekick is a great tool to use even for personal use (and it's FREE). But when you use Sidekick and the CRM system (also free)… it's just great.
I've been using Drupal, Joomla and WordPress for the past ten years and I didn't really like them. When I tried the HubSpot COS I was sold. It's so easy to use and beginner can build beautiful sites without any problems. The tool is quite new, so there are still some improvements that need to be done (and I'm sure they will get it soon). Personally I would like a search module that isn't Google's search (this isn't that big of a problem and most users don't event notice this). Also, translation plugins could be a big plus. And for the marketing side - there isn't much to say. Everything works great. Hands down it’s the best all-in-one platform there is.
At the inbound conference in September they released a bunch of great new features as well. The one I have used the most is "content staging" - basically you stage your whole website in a "sandbox mode" and when you are done you can publish some or all pages at once. Really useful if you are doing a website redesign.
The "one-click-SSL" is also a great feature I love. Anyone that has tried to get SSL for their website on another platform know what a hustle it is.
- Customer service
- Communities
- Development
- Keeps on growing & improving month after month
- Non-Google search module in COS
- Translation modules in COS
- International shipping for the HubSpot swag
Try it, what do you have to lose?
My recommendation...try it, what do you have to lose?
- Engages Users. We are a community, not just a customer number.
- Gives us the tools we need and want. We stay ahead of the curve.
- Creates success. Our wins are their wins, so success is inevitable.
- Ever-expanding (& evolving) product selection.
- More integration with the Sales CRM to the Marketing side of the house.
- More B2B functionality on the Marketing platform.
- Deeper integration to Social Media platforms.
Keeps Us Moving on the Inbound Marketing Train
1. Marketing
We use many of HubSpot's features in our inbound and outbound marketing efforts. This consists of using landing pages, keyword research and tracking, email campaigns/workflows, and social media publishing. HubSpot's features make it easy to complete many tasks all in one program, and easily track progress made.
2. Customer Success
We also use some of these features to segment customer lists and send relevant emails and offers to our existing customers to help them succeed with our products. The integrations we were able to set up between our customer platform and HubSpot have made it easy to keep track of how our customers are doing.
- Educate customers and prospects. HubSpot's team excels at educating both about the product and about inbound marketing in general. I was able to quickly and easily get up-to-speed when I started using HubSpot by attending webinars and reading articles.
- Adding features and updates that make life easier for customers. HubSpot adds new things weekly to their marketing system. All of these additions make it easier to accomplish what you need to get done. One example is the newer Workflow options. This addition removed many steps that I had previously gone through when setting up workflows.
- A wish-list item for me is would be a social publishing integration with Pinterest. It's not a 'must' since the Pin It extension is easy, but it is one extra place I need to go when doing social marketing.
- One other thing that takes extra work is the lack of integration with the HubSpot Campaigns with SalesForce campaigns. Currently we have to set up a campaign in each program, and give it the same name. Making sure you don't miss something from one to the other can take more time than expected.
Can't Imagine My Day Without HubSpot
- Training: HubSpot has hands-down the best training of any software I've used. They recently revamped their training programs with dozens of new videos and complementary resources. The ongoing live training and webinar series are also fantastic...I always learn something new. I've completed all of the certifications, except the COS Design.
- Support: The support team is fast and friendly, available by phone, email and Twitter, and they always follow up to make sure you're satisfied. If there's a feature not currently available, they'll log it as an idea for future product enhancements.
- Social Inbox: I love this tool. I use it in combination with HubSpot's Chrome extension, which saves me valuable time scheduling Twitter and LinkedIn updates.
- Reporting: The new reporting add-on is very powerful, and gives me the ability to quickly create visual reports for my monthly meetings.
- Inability to edit campaign names after they are created.
This New User Gives it Two Thumbs Up
- Generating Leads through the use of forms and workflows.
- Content creating - both for emails and landing pages.
- Tech Support - the team is always more than helpful in answering our questions - from the most mundane, to helping us solve larger problems.
- Social Media scheduling
- Reporting on multiple KPIs (MQLs by Content Piece, e.g.)
- Though it's possible for us to move our blog from WordPress to HubSpot, it seems that we'll be losing a lot of linked images.
- It's hard to track the data of multiple landing pages or emails and comparing them. The ability to look more closely at the data is limited.
However, if you're looking for in-depth analytics, or something that can look for trends in a data-set, HubSpot might not fulfill all those needs.
Best tool on the market!
- When you buy HubSpot, you don't just get the software. You get a team of experts that are there to help and consult with you to ensure that you get the best results possible.
- Extensive training on the tool ensures that you know how to use everything HubSpot has to offer.
- It has altered everything we do and we saw results immediately across departments.
- Salesforce integration is great in theory, but we haven't been able to get it working to the full potential.
- Design templates are not as easy to use as competitors, but the tool does automatically produce templates to match your existing website.
- There are a few bugs here and there that continuously stand in the way of our tracking. While it is not always 100% accurate, it is accurate enough to measure.
HubSpot Believer
- Easy to use
- Great customer support
- Reasonably competitive pricing compared to other providers
- They do "all in one" really well making it easy for the end marketing user
- Don't charge for smaller add-ons that really could be part of the package that long term customers have been subscribed to (i.e. reporting module add-on, website management add-on, etc.)
Great option for all-in-one marketing platform
- Easy to update and publish blog posts and webpages.
- Excellent content and learning materials.
- Great customer support.
- New updates to the platform have been slightly unstable.
- Limited options for email marketing automation compared to Eloqua and Marketo.
- Content calendar isn't very robust.
Solid marketing product
- HubSpot has a great intuitive interface.
- Building lists, finding contacts, and exporting data is really easy.
- Basics around data automation, email automation are quick to set up.
- The software feels high quality: No bugs, looks good, has UX in mind.
- Strong support from their support line and account manager.
- Salesforce sync is slow and there's not much transparency there.
- Some data features are lacking, such as formula fields.
- HubSpot is great to use on a contact basis, but looking at data on a company basis feels like an afterthought.
Perfect for one man (or woman) Marketing Teams!
- Social Media Marketing: schedule your posts and it posts to all of your social channels at once and then it is all in one place to view interactions and clicks.
- Blog - our entire blog is setup through HubSpot and linked to from our homepage. It's very easy to manage and sometimes better if you aren't familiar or don't want the bloggers accessing your WordPress dashboard.
- Email Campaigns - Email Creation, segregating contacts for emails and then tracking their performance is all simple.
- The blog was difficult to setup originally but Hubspot has an awesome team to help whenever needed. It's now functional and very low maintenance.
- I wish the social media platform could also post to Instagram.
Hubspot, hit the spot!
- Not only have I been impressed with the tool, I have also been thoroughly impressed with the customer service at Hubspot. My marketing consultant has provided excellent guidance and helped to get our marketing engine to the next level.
- If there is ever an issue, the help desk has very quick turnaround
- They update the product and provide the appropriate onboarding/training when that happens so software users don't miss a beat.
- Adding an image to an email is difficult, the space where you click is very small, might need to look at the ux for that particular screen.
- Email templates have been a tough spot for use, at times it seems to be the clunkiest part of the system.
- Would love a podcast with best practices.
Great customer service, works like it should.
- Customer service is exceptional. Any time I have an issue or question I am on the phone with someone within a few minutes, 24/7. They even follow up afterwards to make sure my issue has been resolved.
- Easy to use. The simple interface of the dashboards and tools make it extremely easy for a new user to get the hang of the platform and start having success with it.
- Reporting. The robust reporting features in HubSpot allow us to really drill down and find the information we want.
- Some settings are not easy to find and I have to seek out articles for help and even call support sometimes.
- When a landing page does not display the way you want it to it can be difficult for someone with little coding knowledge to fix the issues.
- Wish that HubSpot gathered data on traffic and leads from specific social media posts.
HubSpot: Lead gen and email marketing done right.
- By attributing leads to certain channels and identifying their content consumption habits, it greatly helps us define our content calendar.
- By having a lead scoring model as well as a detailed workflow structure, we can deliver relevant email messages to our contacts and move them through the sales stages.
- I would love to have more access to exportable data. Dashboards are great, but having the actual data to play with in Excel would be exponentially more beneficial.
HubSpot was a game-changer for us - in a good way!
- HubSpot is a great tool for providing an overall way to organize and track your marketing efforts across social media, organic search, email marketing, and more.
- Their team is amazing. They have been awesome every step of the way as we trained and implemented inbound marketing for us and our clients.
- The addition of the CRM component made it even more awesome. Now we can track and manage the leads the marketing is generating.
- I wish the workflow tool made it easier to print out a flow chart for my customers that want to see the whole flow.
- I'd like to see better filtering in the CRM.
- I'd also like to see notifications in the CRM. Right now, we don't get notified if we've been assigned to a lead, so we can miss following up with them.
HubSpot helped us grow this year!
- Identify potential opportunities
- Generate new leads
- Nurture current leads
- Keep current customers in the loop
- Collect and nurture potential job applicants
We use almost all of the tools available to us:
- Buyer persona creation
- Keyword research
- Analytics
- SEO suggestions
- Social Marketing review, scheduling, monitoring, responding
Marketing Automation helps us with creating and maintaining all of our:
- Calls to Action
- Landing Pages
- Forms
- Lists
- Campaigns
- Workflows
Additionally, we do all of the above and more for clients. We could not do what we do for them without HubSpot at the center of our activities. (We could, but it would cost them double or triple)!
- HubSpot coordinates our marketing efforts across multiple channels.
- The Dashboard is clear and concise. This is the daily (and intra-day) hub for us.
- Several tools within HubSpot make it easy to see what is working and what is not in our marketing efforts.
- Pricing is an issue with some of our clients.
- Some tools require digging in to the training before being used effectively.
- The mobile app is great, but needs more features.
- Committed to growth
- Willing to spend 15% of their budget on marketing
- Are on target to reach over $1M annual revenue
- Understand that building a foundation takes time
- Patient to see results in 6-9 months
A great choice for B2B companies with aggressive growth goals. Easily customized and works as an invisible sales team behind the scenes.
- Fully integrated tools allow you to take a holistic view of your potential customers. You can see when they came to your site, what they are interested in, when they return, what they're doing on social media and the pages that they visited. That way, sales can be much more effective.
- Hubspot allows us to function with less sales people. For all the work we put in, Hubspot is working on the back end to multiply our efforts.
- The CRM and Marketing tools tie effortlessly together. I love that I don't need to record anything and all of our emails and interactions are recorded effortlessly.
- The CRM app is great, and allows me to find phone numbers, emails and make calls while I'm out on the road.
- I can't wait until the CRM includes the ability to record both incoming and outgoing emails from Gmail, a functionality I understand is coming soon.
- Because the COS is updating so quickly, I have struggled with some design elements being unchangable. This isn't an issue for new customers coming on because they have updated coding from a year ago, but it has been something I've had to address.
- Simple design features are easy to change (like changing text or pictures) but any more complicated design changes do take some COS and HubL knowledge.
If you are, however, looking to grow your company quickly, Hubspot is an absolute requirement. Also, Hubspot is definitely geared towards the B2B sector, and does especially well in industries that are known for outdated marketing (like manufacturing).
