Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I recommend using Pardot, ExactTarget, or Signpost instead of Hubspot depending on your use case. Many companies are using Hubspot in B2C use cases where ExactTarget (aka Salesforce Marketing Cloud) would be better suited and a better price point. If you already use Salesforce CRM it is a no brainer to buy Pardot instead of Hubspot, and you would be doing yourself a disservice to do otherwise because the products are integrated more than any other B2B marketing automation systems. Hubspot simply has a buggy CRM integration with Salesforce, and a buggy back-end in their core product, in addition, to very poor customer service. If you are a retail business not using Salesforce (e.g. dry cleaners, flower shop, etc.) Signpost would be a more natural fit. ExactTarget would be the best fit for B2C e-commerce stores.

Wordpress, Pardot, Oracle, and Marketo were considerations in the process. Wordpress is far too clunky of a platform for lead and content management. Pardot seems to be more of niche product. Marketo is more up the ecommerce route and Oracle is for big budgets with lots of team members at a price that is a premium.

Eloqua is a complex solution, that can support many actions from a marketing department. My experience comparing the two systems, would be that the complexity means that you do less, if you don't have staff that are really strong in using the solution. With HubSpot, you don't need that knowledge.

Mailchimp is good for email, but if you are building integrated campaigns HubSpot is better at helping you track all of your activities over landing pages, social media, etc. The usability is a huge upgrade over using Marketo.

HubSpot is all encompassing with an amazing user interface. It's as simple as that.
Update:
We use so many tools that HubSpot has to offer. Before HubSpot, we were using an email provider with a separate service for landing pages. Not cool. Too many things were disconnected by too many different logins, and we couldn't keep track. HubSpot is not only a timesaver, but it keeps getting better and better as the years go by. I can't believe how much they invest in making their tools more customized for their users – and all from the customer's perspective. I have never had so much faith in a software, so much love for a company, and so much excitement for future releases. HubSpot is indeed all encompassing, and it's only going to get better and better. They are a trailblazer, and I look forward to seeing their future innovations!!

We haven't used another product. However we selected hubspot due to the easy to use feature and the customer support/knowledge option. Hubspot web pages/webistes portray a professional image image for our company.

I prefer Hubspot to some of the other MAP programs that are out there due to the ability that Hubspot has as well as how quickly it is growing and staying ahead of the curve. I also think the Hubspot academy offers far more than it's competition in regards to training. Hubspot Projects is a huge leap in training for our team.

Hubspot is by far more user-friendly, intuitive and better at automation than Constant Contact. Value is also another huge plus when you compare Hubspot to Constant Contact. There are free, readily available, integrations you can use with Hubspot such as SurveyMonkey, Salesforce, Wordpress and more making everything more fluid.

I have used WordPress before and HubSpot is much better. To me WordPress seemed to have no organization of the tools developers need to use. HubSpot has everything packaged up nicely and is easy to use.

I haven't used any other particular software that even compares to HubSpot. In terms of using other tools compared to HubSpot - there should be no question. HubSpot basically allows you to do what ten, twenty other tools or pieces of software allow you to do. Its easier, in one spot, and reports on everything.

N/A as this is my first job out of college, since interning and working here I have only used HubSpot. Can't think of anything else that would measure up as some other programs (MailChimp, Salesforce, etc.) have different aspects of HubSpot, but HubSpot has all of these features combined into one platform.

HubSpot provides the best product with the best customer service at the best price. It is more expensive than other marketing platforms, but we have never questioned the value in that expense, especially after hearing complaints from users of competitor platforms. It was an easy choice after comparing to Pardot, Marketo, and the option of hacking together a bunch of different tools into one.

HubSpot is an all-inclusive platform. It address all of our needs in one place. That's why we chose it to replace all other marketing and sales systems internally, and that's why we recommend it to our clients.

When we were initially reviewing marketing automation softwares, we narrowed our search to HubSpot and Marketo. Both tools provide great automation and workflow support, and on the surface level seem to be equals except in price. However, the main reason we decided on HubSpot is that it provides awesome top-of-the-funnel support with strong middle-of-the-funnel tools, whereas Marketo is really focused on lead nurturing. If you are coming to the table with a large list of leads, you may outgrow the software eventually. However, if you are wanting to start from the bottom and generate leads, HubSpot is a no-brainer.

I have used free and not too expensive tools. However, even if you might consider HubSpot as expensive, it is not. HubSpot is a user-friendly, easy to use tool. It is a tool where you find everything you need in the same platform. All your contacts and leads management are easy to follow and your marketing campaigns are too!

We moved from Marketo to HubSpot. Marketo was a fine tool but the learning curve was steep and at the time it lacked some of the bells and whistles we could get from HubSpot for the same price. Switching from Marketo to HubSpot felt an awful lot like when I switched from PC to Mac. They're both powerful machines. Mac is just easier and more fun to use.

Honestly, the main difference for our team was the ease of use and ability to train others to use the system. With HubSpot, it was a no brainer for us to train others outside of marketing how to interact with the tool. We have had more success using HubSpot in collaboration efforts company-wide. Ultimately, we were concerned with the bulkiness and the non-essential pieces in the other products.
