I started off using HubSpot's Marketing Grader tool (which I love). Then I completed the Inbound and Design Certifications and after that I started using HubSpot full-time. The products are all great. Sidekick is a great tool to use even for personal use (and it's FREE). But when you use Sidekick and the CRM system (also free)… it's just great. I've been using Drupal, Joomla and WordPress for the past ten years and I didn't really like them. When I tried the HubSpot COS I was sold. It's so easy to use and beginner can build beautiful sites without any problems. The tool is quite new, so there are still some improvements that need to be done (and I'm sure they will get it soon). Personally I would like a search module that isn't Google's search (this isn't that big of a problem and most users don't event notice this). Also, translation plugins could be a big plus. And for the marketing side - there isn't much to say. Everything works great. Hands down it’s the best all-in-one platform there is.At the inbound conference in September they released a bunch of great new features as well. The one I have used the most is "content staging" - basically you stage your whole website in a "sandbox mode" and when you are done you can publish some or all pages at once. Really useful if you are doing a website redesign. The "one-click-SSL" is also a great feature I love. Unless every component of your marketing is tied into one place you'll never get an accurate "start to finish" view of your marketing. HubSpot does this better than any other I've seen. Intuitive interface. HubSpot's put a lot of effort into making their tool easy to use. I find this is where a lot of companies struggle. They make these tools so powerful, but operating them can also be a challenge. HubSpot's done this really well. Top notch service and support. If you do have problems or questions, support is a phone call away. I have never waited on hold longer than about 2-3 minutes and most times my calls are answered inside of 60 seconds. And the best thing about support is they'll roll up their sleeves and dive into the problem with you. They're not going to send you a link to a help article and move on to the next person like so many other companies do. Support is incredible.,I'd really like to see a "library" where evergreen social updates (such as links to blog posts) can be stored and reused over and over on a set schedule. There are other social softwares that have this functionality and I find that so useful and such a time saver that I don't do all of our social publishing through HubSpot anymore. I think there is a disconnect between their package levels. The Basic level is pretty much useless because it lacks marketing automation and the ability to do drip sequences. That means that the entry level package really is at the Professional level but that's not always affordable for smaller businesses. The difference in price between Professional and Enterprise is ridiculous (sorry guys, I still love you!) There are some valuable tools in Enterprise but the jump in price isn't reflective of the added value in my opinion. There's room for improvement in the workflows. Creating a list that shows people who have completed a form is easy to do. Creating a list that shows people who have completed a form, and have NOT completed any other forms is not so easy to do. Some competitor platforms have introduced tagging where behaviours and activities can trigger the system to apply a tag to a contact record. Marketing automation can then be triggered by tags. This opens up a ton of possibilities and might be worth looking at.,9,Continual intake for our marketing funnels. New leads are created daily and are automatically nurtured until they're warmed up and qualified for a sales call. This saves us a ton of time and allows us to only pursue the warmest prospects. I don't know our specific ROI for HubSpot but what I do know is that in applying the tool and an inbound strategy, our business has increased at least 50% year-over-year for the past two years. We don't do any other advertising other than inbound marketing and referrals. The biggest positive impact is the analytics it provides. We know exactly how well our marketing is working, where the weak points are and what we need to do to remove bottlenecks and keep the "machine" well oiled and running smoothly.,Infusionsoft,Less than 10,000,B2BThis New User Gives it Two Thumbs UpThe marketing team at my organization uses HubSpot to gather leads for the sales team to follow up with by using inbound marketing techniques. I love that their tools are built to be persona driven and campaigns can be organized around your personas. It helps us in the areas of lead generation, better content, more content, more efficient work, increased productivity and better organization. In the first 4 months using this platform we were able to generate the amount of leads we did in the previous 12. AND it is more organized, we know more about these leads, we know more about their conversion path, and we are passing more context to our sales team when we seamlessly pass them off to our sales team using the HubSpot CRM. Currently our marketing department, our safety team, our client service team, our underwriting team and our sales team have all had involvement with the tool. Our sales team also uses the HubSpot CRM. I love the ability to create complex workflows using automation based on any set of complex events and triggers I want based on what contacts have done and what we know about them. Workflows have transformed our lead nurturing program using targeted automated email lead nurturing. Huge time saver. I think HubSpot also perfectly blends the art of delivering an incredible tool that is their platform, but just as important is their ability to deliver the inbound training and support to make sure their clients are successful at using the tool.,Workflows - time saving, better lead nurturing Organizing initiatives - on a persona level, a campaign level, budget, keyword, landing page, everything can be synced up and integrated. Both Marketing and Sales use HubSpot, which makes it easy to connect with prospects and build a better database. With HubSpot it is very easy to create effective landing pages, professional looking emails, web pages and capture lead information.,HubSpot is easy to learn how to use. As a result not a lot of training is necessary to get up and running quickly. I really love being able to see the results of our marketing efforts in the HubSpot dashboards. With their dashboards, it is easy to compare the results for email and landing pages and to figure which ones worked the best and which ones didn't. This makes it simple to repeat your successes and avoid duplicating your mistakes. HubSpot is constantly offering educational experiences to help users learn how to use the product more effectively. Their blog always provides great information and helps me to keep up with the consistently changing technology of the internet. This education helps me to be a better marketer and as result, helps me to create more effective marketing programs that generate more awareness of my brand and generate more leads.,I really can't think of any areas that are in need of improvement. It helps us maintain timely and regular postings. We are now integrating it into our B2B lead generation and sales initiative. The process flow helps us let these channels cross where appropriate but separates them when the message needs to differ. We will soon begin integration with SurveyMonkey for further qualification of leads in B2B channels. We use HubSpot internally and with an implementation partner. It is nice because we can see all relevant flows, processes to enhance each other's work and avoid overlaps.,We can write, load and schedule our blogs for a significant period of our marketing calendar for B2C and B2B and both. We can write load and schedule our social media activities to correspond with both our corporate marketing calendar and posts for specific events for our own or our resellers participation. This lets our B2B exposure improve to put our brand in front of the consumer market through other channels. We can integrate forms from HubSpot with Goldmine, our CRM system, so we are able to maintain complete history of all activities with a client or customer but still keep the pre-defined flow for marketing communications. HubSpot training programs are excellent ways for learning and using the product and also to add value for an employee.,There are some ways HubSpot performs its actions that make it necessary for us to purchase additional functionality in other products we have used for much longer in order to integrate. Changing the way it works in these instances would provide us easier implementation and allow us to utilize it more completely. HubSpot's latest initiative to become our CRM system interferes with a CRM system which has MANY years worth of data, including links to documents, While I understand the need for some CRM "functionality" in a product like HubSpot, it is not comprehensive enough to be my CRM system. I am the director of marketing at the corporate office of a multi-location company - 200 locations in 38 states. One of the primary challeneges with marketing for multiple locations is consistent message and branding in social media. HubSpot has allowed me to connect over 200 social media accounts - Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ - in one spot. This allows me to manage PR issues and post blogs across of network that reaches over 50,000 social media users. The contacts database is very robust. Custom contact attributes allowed us to capture information that is relevant to our digital B2C marketing efforts. Every form submitted on our website was integrated with HubSpot's API (thanks to a ton of help from their outrageously supportive tech team). This allows me to segment based on store id, geo region, or customer type, for more segmented emailing. The contact reports aren't just email addresses like you would find on Constant Contact or Mail Chimp, every touch is recorded whether it was on the website, email, or social media.,Content Calendar - Combines all of the content generating tools into a simply laid out calendar. Plan and assign blog posts, social media updates, email blasts, and see it all in one large view. Then click into each content creating app and begin working. Summarizes the swiss-army knife ease of HubSpot's assorted marketing tools. Customer Support - Personalized inbound training goes above and beyond what you would expect. Reps are very attentive to all of the details of your account, and find innovative ways to apply the inbound methodology to your specific company. The HubSpot Academy is AMAZING - providing hours of video on the philosophy and practice of inbound marketing with HubSpot. If you pay enough attention, you can get HubSpot certified like me! Create reports to show your boss the traffic is worth the time.,Location Management - Would love to see a way to manage search engine listings like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc... Publishing store information to business directories is a big part of inbound marketing missing from this software suite. Managing images and uploaded files is difficult and time consuming. Wish there was a way to integrate with my Dropbox so renaming and organizing doesn't absorb hours. Design Manager for email templates, forms, and landing pages still has a lot of room for improvement. Difficult tool to learn for someone without a background in HTML/CSS and little support from reps or academy.,9,Increased efficiency - I manage all of our social media publishing with HubSpot. Often I assemble batches of posts to go out over a two-week period, allowing me to focus on other aspects of our marketing instead. Huge upgrade over the clumsy Hootesuite interface. Seriously, I couldn't have caught on better than through their certification programs, and am thrilled with how well thought out their training is. Publishing is so easy through HubSpot's social tools. I haven't experienced a platform for publishing that I have enjoyed as much as HubSpot. HubSpot's layout is simple and beautiful. It makes switching between clients and juggling projects seamless! Having the ability to keep all previously marketed landing pages and utilized material in one spot is very accommodating for people who are just joining the workspace. It's not always easy to find time to train someone in a marketing position, but HubSpot practically does it all for you!,We have experienced some glitches in posting to social. A couple of times, it has dropped its verification of our social accounts and we have had to go through manually and re-verify. This wouldn't have been an issue if HubSpot had emailed anyone to warn us about it. Something like, "Oh no! Did you delete a social account?" Just so we could have re-verified and re-scheduled previously scheduled posts for clients. We got behind last week because of a glitch. I think that social should have a tab for Instagram. Posting in advance to Instagram would be such a key feature--especially for visually-driven clients. Social should have the capability of tagging Facebook friends/groups/fan pages/etc. so that we can increase our clients' exposure. I feel like we are losing out on a lot of leads by not having that capability.,8,Increased employee efficiency Decreased necessity for training time taken out of established employees' days, which leads to efficiency Increased overall organization Increased fluidity of information for the company,HootSuite Free,Sprout Social,Constant Contact,Less than 10,000,Email marketing Lead nurturing Lead scoring and grading Landing pages List segmentation Sales intelligence Sales campaigns Revenue cycle modeling Social marketing SEO Blogging Surveys,8HubSpot reviewI am the controller of HubSpot within our organization. We use it as our sole method of planning, executing, and analyzing our inbound marketing strategies. We use HubSpot to support all departments in our consulting firm. Managing our website with HubSpot is a joy and not the arduous task that it once was. I find the tools and the reports that are generated through HubSpot to be key in determining where we should focus our efforts and where we should not. We have been using this wonderful inbound marketing tool for a little over a year and the impact has been felt throughout the company. I am a HubSpot junkie, now. I cannot wait to check out our Dashboard every morning to get updated on changes that occurred overnight. And with HubSpot, you get almost instant gratification. Training, support, and the continual updates to the software keep the tools fresh, my engagement constant, and the ability to reach goals and show demonstrable results in virtually every corner of our consulting firm.,We find the data and reports to be the best tracking and analysis we have ever experienced.. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports for visits, contacts, leads, and growth in social media as well as keyword ratings enabled us to greatly improve our web traffic and increase our qualified leads. I personally have never had a better training experience for any software (and I have used others lik CoPilot and Prospect Ace). The training Webinars allow flexibility of scheduling, ease of revisiting topics, and easily applied methods for immediate use. The personable instructors are a bonus, as well. The ability to compare to competitors marketing ranking. While it is at the mercy of keyword ranking and social media presence to some degree, it is a starting point that allows us to stay motivated and recognize where we need to step up our game.,While I don't think I actually dislike anything about HubSpot, I find the report printing can be a little challenging when I am trying to quickly print info for an impromptu meeting. It would be nice to have reports output to PDF for sharing with co-workers. Blog posting can be challenging at times. The edits and HTML coding do not always "hold" and I find that i have to delete everything to start the posting process from scratch, especially when using more than one image. However, it is not a huge problem and I have complete faith that HubSpot is working on improvements for this. When editing web pages, the controls require me to edit and re-post changes several times before they accept the changes.,9,As a small consulting firm (under 40 employees), we never established a way to monitor traffic to our website, track contacts, and follow-up on leads. From the day we turned up HubSpot, we have had much faster lead conversion and an increase in sales. Our goal was to realize our inbound marketing efforts and track and analyze contacts, leads, and sales. HubSpot has enabled us to do that, seamlessly. We never had any established landing pages on our website and our Calls To Action weren't calling to anyone. Now we average a 25% conversion rate on our landing pages. It generates enthusiasm within the company you can share this kind of upbeat news quickly.,,10You can't beat HubSpotHubSpot is being used by the distance education center as a means to market, generate leads, and recruit students into our online degree programs. Our unit has always had trouble putting together all the pieces of the puzzle for generating new enrollments. We have been farming much or all of the work and had mixed results. We spent quite a bit of time researching how we could approach this ourselves. We came up with some ways we wanted to market the online programs and set out to find the solutions. We originally were looking at some other products. I came across the HubSpot brand while participating in some forums and decided to check it out. As it turns out, everything we wanted to do and more was contained within HubSpot. After a single product demonstration, I was sold and within a couple weeks my administrators were too. HubSpot is helping us address our problems with recruiting and doing it in single platform. They also have and excellent training program for customers that has allowed us to dig into the Inbound philosophy and understand the product as a whole.,My experience is that HubSpot does many things very well. The first thing we fell in love with is the COS, content optimization system. They have built HubSpot so that it optimizes your content for you which makes everything we do more efficient and more effective. HubSpot does a tremendous job with product improvement as well. Not a single week has gone by, since we began using HubSpot, that they haven't rolled updates or new features. They also believe in a value added approach with the product and have never asked us to pay more or upgrade our account to have access to these features. HubSpot has provided us with all the training we have needed to work with their product. This is another reflection of their value added approach. They have training on the overall philosophy, the technical workings of the product and individual pieces that make the whole. This has been available to us from day one and we have never been asked to pay for it. We have another software company we use for our student data. We are severely under-trained in using it, because the only trainings they ever have available are thousands of dollars. I would replace that software in a heartbeat if I could, but I would fight tooth and nail to keep HubSpot.,The one thing we came across that might be a weakness, was the initial setup. We filled out a survey that was thorough, but a couple designs decisions were made based on the survey that we would have liked to change. That being said, there was nothing wrong with the design. It may be something we need to change later however.,10,HubSpot has allowed to do a lot more, with a lot less. We don't have a significant number of employees in our office. The thought of taking on marketing has always seemed daunting, but HubSpot gives us the tools and know how to do it. We have also seen improved lead conversion. Just in the first few months of use, we have converted enough leads to pay for the HubSpot for a few years. We expect that grow exponentially.,,,,10,Implemented in-house,Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled,10Very Satisfied!!We use HubSpot for all of our company's marketing, including website design, blog, monthly newsletter, emails, and social media. HubSpot works wonderfully to make all of these facets have one seamless look and message. We especially think the analytics are useful. Before, we were using several different sources to produce this content, and even more to analyze our efforts. Having everything in one place simplifies the process and makes more time to do other things.,Web design. The interface is very intuitive and user friendly. HTML coding is not required, but it's there to use if you're familiar with it. There's a comprehensive checklist on blog posts, web pages, and emails. The Keywords Tool makes it easy to track up to 1000 search terms to see what people are actually searching for and how people are finding our website. Training. I have very little experience in website management. HubSpot has detailed tutorials, video walk throughs, and a set-up specialist to make sure I understand the product, feel comfortable using it, and I'm using it correctly.,I was a little overwhelmed when we first signed up for HubSpot. There's so much to do, I wish there was a checklist of things most customers need to accomplish within the first month. There wasn't a lot to guide what we did first and how to prioritize set up tasks. There are a few terms that HubSpot uses that I was either not familiar with before, or I've used in a different way. For example, a CTA in HubSpot is a specific button for website visitors to click on, rather than a simple encouragement to tack action. I wish there was a glossary of HubSpot terminology to ease my way into using the product.,10,More website views Increased employee efficiency More prospects filling out web forms so we can capture their email address and begin marketing to them more personally,GreenRope,InfusionSoft,10Why go with HubSpot as a tech startup? We started using HubSpot 3 weeks after we published our launch page. We use all kind of features from HubSpot, starting with the form on our landing page, qualifying leads via a survey, add them to personas and use different workflows to provide our prospects with the right information. Our blog is setup on HubSpot and we love the HubSpot tips that gives us good signs what we can do to better rank within the search engines. We use the social media publishing tools and plugins to post on Twitter, Facebook & Co. We find it far more efficient than to login on each social media platform and it's great to see if somebody who favorites or retweets a post is already a lead or not. We started with lead scoring to better understand which customer is more relevant for us and to decide whom we love to invite first to our private beta. And of course we use the HubSpot data to understand what works and what doesn't.,Integration of all data around one single person Consulting and Support - HubSpot really wants you to be successful HubSpot App that allows you to easily stay up to date and contact new leads within a second,The CMS is nothing for a great UX Designer and Frontender who loves to build their own interface. We struggled somehow with lead import and double-opt in but got it fixed after some days with HubSpot support. Some workflows are not so intuitive and sometimes HubSpot forgets to ask you for a confirmation that you really want to e.g. delete a contact, opt-out a contact, or send an e-mail. So, click accidents can happen. HubSpot is tracking nearly everything, but unfortunately HubSpot doesn't track social likes, shares and retweets. And it's not possible to build a list and rank contacts based on this criteria.,9,HubSpot saves us a lot of time HubSpot helps us to improve the whole customers acquisition process HubSpot helps us to personalize our customer relationships and deliver a better service,,8,NoHubSpot: Lead gen and email marketing done right. We currently use HubSpot to support a number of client email marketing and lead generation efforts, including our own agency marketing. I find that the HubSpot technology combined with their training and customer service is a win/win combination for any brand or agency side marketing department. With constant updates and developments, HubSpot is helping us fine tune our content marketing strategy by giving us deep user insights into content preferences, sales stages and ultimately what drives business. Highly recommended.,By attributing leads to certain channels and identifying their content consumption habits, it greatly helps us define our content calendar. By having a lead scoring model as well as a detailed workflow structure, we can deliver relevant email messages to our contacts and move them through the sales stages.,I would love to have more access to exportable data. Dashboards are great, but having the actual data to play with in Excel would be exponentially more beneficial.,8,I wouldn't say HubSpot gives us any measurably faster lead conversion, though it does help us better analyze the audience through tracking and consumption data. HubSpot allows us to easily set up landing pages and email marketing campaigns without the need for developers to create emails, pages, etc. Really saves on time in this sense.,Act-On,25,000 to 100,000,BothHubSpot was a game-changer for us - in a good way!We utilize HubSpot both to market our business as well as to help us provide the same marketing services we do for ourselves for our customers as a HubSpot partner agency.,HubSpot is a great tool for providing an overall way to organize and track your marketing efforts across social media, organic search, email marketing, and more. Their team is amazing. They have been awesome every step of the way as we trained and implemented inbound marketing for us and our clients. The addition of the CRM component made it even more awesome. Now we can track and manage the leads the marketing is generating.,I wish the workflow tool made it easier to print out a flow chart for my customers that want to see the whole flow. I'd like to see better filtering in the CRM. I'd also like to see notifications in the CRM. Right now, we don't get notified if we've been assigned to a lead, so we can miss following up with them.,10,We have noticed that our time from first point of contact to closing the sale has decreased significantly. We had a surge of interaction start happening on social media that we've never experienced before. This has lead to many people we've met in the community recognizing us right away and considering us to be experts in marketing right away. We've doubled our income and in 7 months went from not even offering marketing as a service to 80% of our income coming from marketing clients - with all of our clients seeing new business within the first 3 months.,I haven't used any other tools quick like HubSpot.,Less than 10,000,Both,4Hubspot to the Rescue!HubSpot plays an important role in our digital marketing strategy and helps us turn anonymous visitors into identifiable leads.,User Interface is great and far simpler than other tools. Customer Support service is second to none! Dashboards provide a quick overview.,Only complaint is there is no middle price tier between the mid-upper options.,10,HubSpot is helping to create identifying leads and customers that would normally be a passive viewer of our website. HubSpot helped us to focus better on the specific pain points of the types of customers we wish to attract. With HubSpot we have much better visibility and can determine what is of value to our prospects. The numbers do not lie!,LoopFuse and Salesfusion,Less than 10,000,10,Implemented in-house

Other things we've used in the past have been tools that only satisfy one area of an integrated digital marketing campaign (social, email, etc.). Once HubSpot came into the picture and updated some of their tools, we no longer had a use for these tools since the cost of advantages made no sense compared to what HubSpot provided us.

There are some really great systems out there that give you parts of the puzzle but none I have found that truly put it all together in a cohesive package that I can really dig into. That doesn't mean they aren't useful for their own purposes. Everyone's marketing program is different and I think that versatility is what I like most about HubSpot. HubSpot meets my needs and I was able to try it out before buying it. That is the best way to see if it will work for your own situation.

Infusionsoft is a platform that we started using before HubSpot and we still use today. There are specific features that I like better with Infusionsoft than with HubSpot. The biggest feature that Infusionsoft has that HubSpot is missing is the integrated eCommerce and order forms/landing pages. If HubSpot had those built in natively then we'd probably dump Infusionsoft. However Infusionsoft isn't really a fair comparison to HubSpot because Infusionsoft lacks the social publishing, blogging, calls-to-action and the reporting ability that HubSpot has. HubSpot is the clear winner if you're looking for a solid all-in-one marketing platform in my opinion.

In terms of content management, the UI of HubSpot is much easier for those whose strengths might not be code or any back-end work. The media library functionality is similar, but is separate from HubSpot, so you need to remember which images are on which platform. The integration between the two works pretty seamlessly. Half our pages are on HubSpot while half our pages are on WordPress. Users probably wouldn't even notice the difference between the two.

We evaluated Eloqua and Marketo but had very poor sales experiences; they were also exorbitant in pricing compared to HubSpot and considering everything HubSpot can do for the money. It was an easy decision when comparing apples to apples in capabilities.

Way way better. All in one place. Google Analytics has a better user story and traffic flow capability so we still rely on it in some situations. It also has better event tracking and stronger analytics especially considering the free price tag. But when it comes to a lead generation platform for an inbound marketing approach the combination of high caliber tools like forms, landing pages, ctas, blogs, campaigns, and keyword tracking is far better than any tool or tools I have tried to piece together in my career.

I prefer Hubspot to some of the other MAP programs that are out there due to the ability that Hubspot has as well as how quickly it is growing and staying ahead of the curve. I also think the Hubspot academy offers far more than it's competition in regards to training. Hubspot Projects is a huge leap in training for our team.

  • LocalVox,HooteSuite,Vocus Marketing Suite
HubSpot beat these companies based on their robust power, interface, and value. Other companies wanted to charge outrageous enterprise rates for each of our locations. HubSpot worked with me to prune our contacts database and agree on a reasonable pricing package. Their sales team does not put you on the spot or in awkward pressure moments. We've all been solicited, and had that skanky sales rep try to slide around you to the decision-maker/check-signer, as if he is going to use the marketing software. I consider that a huge insult, and Vocus did just that. HubSpot on the other hand used respect, humor, and their amazing blog to slowly build trust with me, offering to answer any questions along my long evaluation process.

Before we purchased HubSpot we tried Salesfusion and it was a disaster. The software was really difficult to use (coming from a very tech-savvy person) and just getting a campaign launched or newsletter in place, took weeks if not months. We are SO happy to have found HubSpot! Their software is incredibly easy to use and really makes us incredibly efficient with our marketing tasks.

  • Act-On,Marketo Marketing Automation
HubSpot was selected due to its relative breadth of functionality, responsiveness of their salesteam during the evaluation phase, its intuitive interface and the growing community of HubSpot partners and users not only in North America but also in EMEA. Our basic vendor selection between HubSpot, Marketo and Act-On ended in a clear winner for our own business purposes: HubSpot. This is not to say we would not be recommending Marketo and Act-On to other companies. Given their business needs, an alternative to HubSpot may be better for some (B2B) companies.

There really isn't another product that compares to HubSpot. It would take several products, working together, to recreate what HubSpot does from a single platform. Before I ever tried HubSpot myself, the integrated features had me very interested. There are products that can do part of what HubSpot does. WordPress is a SEO friendly website platform, HootSuite can help you deliver content to your social media platforms. Salesforce and Sugar are good CRM options. We never really tried any marketing automation platforms. Marketo is well regarded in that domain, but the cost was prohibitive for us. Based on my conversations with other users, it would have cost more than HubSpot to use and then we still would need additional products to perform other functions.

  • GreenRope,InfusionSoft
GreenRope had a difficult user interface. It had an CRM which was appealing, but HubSpot has since added a CRM. InfusionSoft did not have any SEO added into the product. That was a huge part of our decision. We spoke with a business acquaintence who uses InfusionSoft, and she said she found InfusionSoft difficult to use. I liked that InfusionSoft has the ability to leave voicemails to several people at once (I think it was 50). I also liked that InfusionSoft had the ability to automate up to five actions for every action. So for example, if I add a contact to the CRM, I could set five things to happen, like send an email, send to the sales department, etc.

We had no great selection process as we love to do things and HubSpot seemed fine from the beginning. We read some reviews and talked to some agency people who know other marketing automation tools. Most people said HubSpot is great but pretty expensive (which is true from a startup perspective). We just had to come up with a decision between building up our own tool chain vs. HubSpot. And we decided for HubSpot as we didn't want to spend time and resources on building up and integrating several different tools.

I've used Act-On in the past. Act-On is a bit hard to use in the arena of email design and development, though I feel that the workflow structure and list management capabilities are far superior with Act-On. Other than that, they are fairly similar, though HubSpot would be my #1 option due to ease of use and level of support services.

Third time IS the charm. From our experience, there is no comparison to other marketing automation tools for what we are trying to accomplish. We found our onboarding smoother and usability with Hubspot to be much easier and less technical than other solutions on the market. HubSpot is a marketer's friend - it helps us achieve our goals and even to better refine those goals. Engaging with HubSpot really includes having access to the best and brightest of Inbound Marketing and they are so willing to help! If you are even curious about HubSpot I would encourage speaking with them. With a very low corporate churn-rate they have no long term advantage to sell you a SaaS program that you will not use long-term.

HubSpot is an all-in-one inbound marketing engine that includes tools for email marketing, landing page creation, social media marketing, content management, reporting & analytics, search engine optimization (SEO) and more. HubSpot's all-in-one marketing automation suite broadly includes:
