Monday.com is a necessary tool at our company because all the team members use it to collaborate, by integrating with all the other software that we use we are able to stay organized and manage everything from the monday.com dashboard, we also use it to communicate with each other to better collaborate on tasks.
  • Easy integration with a ton of other software to populate what matters in one dashboard.
  • Automations to save time on repetitive work.
  • Some email notifications are unnecessary, if they can send only important updates that would be great.
  • I would love to see them implement the possibility to add subtasks under a task.
Monday.com is super easy to use and it's the perfect project management software for small and medium teams like us, its ability to integrate with other tools makes it customizable to each company's needs because the possibilities are endless! For example, we have an automation that populates leads from our Facebook ads campaigns and adds them to the sales pipeline for our sales team to reach out to.

Monday.com is an outstanding tool for project management and task management. My favorite view is the Kanban view, but it is extremely flexible. It also has a bunch of collaboration tools for teams, but I am the only user in my company.
  • Kanban.
  • Task Management.
  • Project Management.
  • Team Collaboration.
  • Speed on the web.
  • Streamlining iPhone UI.
  • Offline support.
Monday.com would be great for any organization, including smaller teams or even solo users, who are looking for a great project management system that goes beyond basic to-do list functionality.

We use monday.com to organize our projects, workstreams, tasks, and resources to deliver the results we're looking for. We also have teams using it to intake work requests, but I am not familiar with the details of that process other than that it is a capability the product has and that team is very happy with it.
  • Burn down indicator on project & task due dates.
  • Adjusting column/field sizes for various items instead of one uniform/automatic size.
  • Switching from board to timeline views is better than experiences with other tools.
  • No suggestions from me.
Monday.com is in a very saturated field. Overall I rank it above Asana for ease of use, communicating with stakeholders, and organizing resources. The biggest issue I see with it is that it isn't massively differentiated and that it still won't solve most of the issues people tend to buy these things for. If you have a crappy process for staffing and organizing projects, monday.com isn't a magic bullet to solve that. If you have a decent process and need tech that helps augment that process, it will be great.

We use monday.com everyday in our organization to help us plan projects, maintain deadlines as well as making sure that we are following up with our costumers. Monday.com has addressed a lot of problems for us. We have noticed a dramatic change in actually knowing if someone has seen a project, and or are currently working on the project. Instead of me sending an email, or having to make a phone call to fill someone in on a project, I can just tag them, they get a notification and an email, and I can see when they have gotten a look at the project, as well as started working on it. It has also made organazing so much easier with the automations. At first we were only planning to use monday to get a more clear and organized picture of what projects we were working on, as well as a better workflow within the projects. However, the more we used it, the more use cases we found for it. Now we are pretty dependand on monday.com for our everyday tasks going smoothly and efficiently.
  • Planning.
  • Organizing.
  • Automations.
  • Notifications.
  • Sharing.
  • Ease of use.
  • The ability to use different kinds of maps within monday.com, or easily add a specific geolocation with coordinates.
Great for planning projects. Great for easily sharing and working together on a project. Great for keeping up with the status of projects. Great for organizing different boards and different kinds of tasks. Great for having one place to visit to get up to speed on how everything in the organization is flowing. I would say it is less ideal to keep a list of customers in monday.com. Especially if you have over 1000 customers. The search functionality is great, but it just doesn't feel right. Feels like it was not made for that purpose, and that's fine. We never used it to store customers, nor do we plan to.

Monday.com is the only platform that really helped my company manage every single task efficiently, quickly and without losing any goal. I use it to manage my team's day to day tasks, with a higher level Gantt, easily understanding and making sure that all tasks are being pushed and no time waste is being done. This is the top project and day to day management platform that I worked with.
  • Quickly changing between different project views
  • Managing employees day to day work
  • Combining all team work to one platform, allowing seamless collaboration
  • Missing automations between different boards
  • No option to add a specific completion percentage of a task that can take more than an average of all tasks in that project
  • My work screen doesn't show specific tags that would be good to have the option to add
If you are working on many different projects and need an easy to use way to manage everything without missing any task or want to make sure you don't overload your employees with too much work that can be done, Monday.com will be the top platform for you. It helped me taking charge of my entire team and tasks and improve my companies productivity.

I'm a freelance writer, so the only communication I have at all with my company is through monday.com. I get assigned articles and blog posts to write, and I can comment to check in with my editors. I upload drafts of my posts, and my editor lets me know if edits are needed or if it's been published.
  • Updating on assignments
  • Commenting
  • Categories for work stages
  • I would love to know if my editor sees my page differently than I do
  • Some assignments are set to auto-duplicate, and I'd want to know before submitting something
It's a great site for submission of work to help keep track of what's due, what's being worked on, and what's already been turned in. I also like that there are different colors to signify the stages of the work process, so I can look at the site quickly and know what I still need to do

I use monday.com to support project management in my organization since we are actively working on dozens of projects and each employee is responsible for pieces of multiple projects. It is an essential tool for us to manage workstreams, task lists, and track progress against deliverables for all of our projects. Monday.com has become especially useful while working entirely remote and is a great visual to use while screen sharing on conference calls. Sharing files back and forth with data can be messy and complicated, whereas a tracker on monday.com is feasible for multiple employees to work on at the same time and can be easily updated and shared.
  • Provides tailored notification systems.
  • An engaging and fun interface that is easily customizable.
  • Offers a wide array of board templates to customize.
  • Allows tasks to be archived so project history is not lost as it is completed.
  • The task list board template could be made in a bare-bones version that would not include as many features so that when a simple list needs to be made, employees do not spend so much time adjusting all the options on the board.
  • Better integration of Monday with calendars in Outlook and Gmail so that deadlines set on Monday are noted in the calendar.
  • Allow for searching for people on a board so that their comments appear.
I find that monday.com is incredibly helpful for tracking the progress of operations, administration, and deliverables tasks for our international development projects. We also use it to track data, such as the amount of $ invoiced by different vendors and the data collected from surveys, however, it could be improved by having better integration with Excel. In these cases, it is not as useful to enter all of the data into monday.com when it already exists in an excel spreadsheet, which is easier to share via email.

Our marketing team uses monday.com internally to stay organized with our quarterly planning and weekly project scope. We use it in our meetings to plan out our weekly sprints and discuss updates, as well as keep notes and files related to projects for easy reference.
  • Project organization over a period of time.
  • Notifications for updates to an item.
  • Listening to customer feedback and continuing to update the product.
  • Subitems have continued to improve, but still could be a bit better.
  • Ease of importing items from a spreadsheet could improve.
The platform is great for in-the-weeds project management for team(s) that need to stay organized and on the same page. Probably not best for an organization's overall, higher-level planning efforts like a strategic or operational plan. I've only used it with one team at one company, so I don't have different experiences with it, but it fits our use case very well.

We use monday.com for our sales team. Each sales manager has the ability to highlight their own vendor and client updates. The application seems to work well for client management including pipeline updates, contacts, and financials, due dates, and team management. We initially tried to use it for project management, however, this platform does not allow the users to go into granular details.
  • Contact list.
  • Great for sales.
  • Financials.
  • Vendor management.
  • Project management.
  • Add due dates to calendar.
  • Email reminders for over due tasks.
  • Email notifications when additions or changes are made.
Great for sales teams working with a pipeline. This allows others to see the prospect pipeline, sales manager responsible for each client, the financials, due dates, priorities, and timelines. The platform is user-friendly with little need for instruction. If you're looking for a CRM, monday.com is a great platform for your team. If you're looking for a project management tool, I would suggest a different platform.

We add tasks for every team (marketing, sales, design) and deadlines for their realizations. This way, we are able to have a good overview of what's "on the table" for each team and see the final outcome as well. Great for tracking the progress!
  • Separate Boards for each team.
  • Progress tracking (idea, in progress, completed).
  • Adding/attaching files to each tasks.
  • Inviting other team members to collaborate.
  • An option to "Duplicate Boards" to other teams.
  • An option to have more than 2 goals per task.
A great tool to have a decent overview of activities of multiple teams within the organization, track progress, and set goals for the months ahead.

We use Monday.com to organize tasks, projects, & workflows for our entire organization. We have many other systems we use integrated, Google Drive, Google SAML, Slack, and automation, and many, many more. It allows for coordination amongst remotely deployed team members and is very customizable. They keep adding new functionality, and we keep deriving value from the product.
  • Custom Data
  • Automations
  • Granular Permissions
  • Monday.com Consultants are expensive
  • Building relationships between boards needs improvement
Monday.com is a step up from tracking things in Google Spreadsheets and has the potential to be a Work OS, but you must do much of the "code-free" building. Also, there are often things you think you should be able to do, but you cannot. Subitems are an interesting example, they are only one level deep and aren't accessed the same way as parent items.

  • Data Storage.
  • Linking and mirroring data to multiple places.
  • Formulas/functions.
  • Dashboards are [in my opinion] slow and difficult to work in.

We need to keep projects organized among a team of remote workers. monday.com helps me manage tasks associated with webinars, our content calendar, and even my maternity leave. I literally use this all day every day to keep all of our marketing efforts organized and to help each team member know who is doing what, and when.
  • Organize tasks within project silos.
  • Assign users to specific tasks within a project.
  • Helps manage and create a content plan.
  • Subitems are clunky.
  • Making a task recurring is a PIA!!
Monday.com is perfect for keeping project tasks organized. I use it specifically for blog content planning, but I've also helped another company set it up for managing tasks within specific projects, like organizing a company holiday party. It's ideal for getting all of those little tasks down and assigning people to them so nothing gets forgotten or falls through the cracks.

My team of LXDs began using this software to track our projects and invited stakeholders to the board to view our project progress and ask questions if needed. We then incorporated the Gantt chart and now give updates and viewable progress of milestone dates and deliverables. This tool is excellent, and along with project tracking and deliverables, it is a tremendous communicative enhancer for stakeholders. It is user-friendly and straightforward. I think that is the best part. Before this tool, we used MP, which was a bit more challenging.
  • Stakeholder sharing.
  • Gantt chart simplified.
  • Update board keeps my teammates, managers, and stakeholders in the loop.
  • Software user-friendly and easy to use.
  • Not a big learning curb for Gantt Chart.
  • Easy to move tasks around on the board, place projects on hold, or place in completed status.
  • Nothing comes to mind because it is such an overall improvement to what came before it.
We do these things called training material updates, which would be less appropriate. A well-suited scenario is our project management with monday.com is spot on and an excellent improvement. We use monday.com to keep our whole org, from our SVP to our teammates, in the know. It's a great tool.

We use monday.com primarily to track internal communication and process. It helps us keep on track without deliverables. It is a tool we use for inner team communication and tracking of responsibilities in our organization. We previously were trying to track things using Google Sheets or simply Slack but it was getting hard to follow and track. monday.com helps ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Tracking.
  • Project Management.
  • Internal Process.
  • Goal Building.
  • Controls.
  • Ease of use for certain things.
  • Learning curve.
I think it's really good at tracking things like internal projects from start to finish even when things change hands. I think it's a wonderful tool for remote work because everyone is sharing the same outlook and plan. That said I feel like we don't get as much out of it as we could because there are so many features and no one person in our organization knows how to utilize all of them. Overall though I do see where it can be used for a wide variety of projects.

Monday.com is used for organizing and highlighting tasks, team assignments, and a lot more. The app is also easy to use and the notifications are very helpful to keep on track. The interface of boards on Monday.com is user-friendly and allows for constant collaboration between our team members. Managing multiple social profiles/accounts requires the need of efficient work and communication every day and monday.com has answered these needs.
  • Organizing daily and weekly tasks
  • Easy to use for new members/beginners
  • Collaborating has multiple tools to use for different needs
  • Less options for creating boards
  • More integration with other software
  • Be simpler at times but not a negative
It is definitely better suited for smaller companies/small teams within a larger group. Being able to invite people from outside your organization is helpful on shorter projects. Any situation that requires multiple people working on the same area/project is a great match for Monday.com because of the UI experience and communication tools it offers.

Monday is an excellent tool for staying organized, team collaboration, and communications. I use Monday for team communication and collaboration, it is a great tool to keep everyone on the same page and updated about project advances. Automations are a great way to notify everyone, for example, when a task is complete, it can be programmed to send a message to let everybody know about it.
  • Kanban boards works like a charm.
  • Automations are very useful for sending messages.
  • Notifications keep everyone in the loop.
  • Different project views are very useful to track activities.
  • Creating teams can be a little tricky.
  • The App sometimes is a little computer resource demanding.
  • Menus are not as intuitive as I would like.
Monday works perfectly for managing project work. It is a very helpful tool to communicate and track project goals. It provides a roadmap for project development and I like that it is very visual. Multiple views provide different angles to look at your projects. I have not found a scenario where Monday is not appropriate.

We were using monday.com to use as a management software to make a plan to check projects, usually company is a QoS of several agencies of coding. We were looking forward to a project management software to aid our work, just to make it more organized, we found monday.com due to an Internet adv. We were using monday.com because it was single, and very organized. We can make a team inside the environment, giving a user for our colleagues, to break the work in a sustainable way. For small projects it is a powerful tool, we organize tasks according to each project.
  • Organizing task into projects.
  • Establish flags for each task as a critical or minority low task.
  • APP for smart phones make it easier way to organize your work.
  • The good: its very easy to use, nothing complicated, you can sign in and start to use, has some kind of training in the begining top show you how to use it, and its very easy.
  • The Bad: maybe for huge projects could be hard, it depends on the experience of the Scrum Master or the PM to handle it.
  • The beauty: the environment is very nice when you start to use it, with colors and tags, it's like when you put some post-its on your physical chart.
We start to use monday.com to organize story users for some projects, was very easy to organize the project with this app, we delegate the tasks to 4 members of our staff, and each one has to complete each part of the task delegated to them. We are a small agency, so we will use it for another project, but will be a small project, I hope it would be easy to use as the latest one.

We use it to see a snapshot of any process and where it is that we are reviewing or implementing for clients. The notes section also keeps everyone deeply informed and forms a robust audit trail.
  • Permits notes and chat functions.
  • Will export the work flow once finalised for audit purposes.
  • Templated workflow can be improved on the fly,
  • Workflow status can be colour coded for great visual snapshot of a status.
  • Easier customisation of automated functions.
We can track each step of the onboarding and implementation of a new client, as well as the functions and steps of an annual review for an existing client. The follow-up dates are easy to track and filter. The outstanding workflow of any team member can be filtered with a click. We know where all aspects are at and who is responsible for each outstanding step.

I use monday.com for my job to track progress on vendor contracts, manage task lists for various projects, and document employees' progress and growth. My company is merging with a larger organization and so at this moment, we do not all have access to the same internal drives hosting our files. monday.com allows us to share data and files in one place that everyone can access. We use monday.com to track progress against vendor contracts and the interphase of the website is really user-friendly and accessible to all project members.
  • Notification preferences are flexible and useful for different circumstances.
  • Engages colleagues across departments and offices.
  • Provides engaging visuals that make progress rewarding.
  • There are too many levels for information entry under each task, so it can be confusing as to where details are saved and at a glance, a user might miss important information that has to be expanded below tasks to see.
  • The sidebar to move between projects is not intuitive, which makes it difficult to quickly navigate between projects.
  • It is not possible to customize the options for where a task stands, which would be helpful because "internal review" is not very specific and doesn't always capture the correct status, and then it requires writing out additional details below which can be easily missed.
I have found that monday.com is really helpful for tracking tasks in project management because it keeps a team updated on the status of different tasks, requirements, and sub-projects so that they can easily collaborate. It is really important so that items do not fall through the cracks. However, I have found it to be less helpful for tracking data for vendor billing or progress on a project, because often the data used to fuel this tracking is in an excel file so then it is an additional burden to enter it in to monday.com.

Monday.com is being used by my department in order to track our progress of our month and quarter end schedules. It allows us to collaborate together and send messages when we are hung up on a step. MY staff are able to send messages to each other and when they check off a task it alerts the next person who needs that step completed before they are able to move on to their task.
  • Informs users when tasks are completed
  • Ease of use
  • Multiple people can edit the list at any time
  • Not much outside of tracking a checklist
  • Limited number of people who can have access to your board (unless you upgrade)
  • Doesn't track the time spent on each task (unless you upgrade)
I enjoy the ease of use of the system from logging in to inputting your information. The ability to be able to tag an employee if they are waiting on a task to be completed is a nice function. Previously we were tracking this in excel and only one person could be in the checklist at a time without causing errors. With Monday.com, multiple users can be in the checklist at any given time with no issues.

My organization uses monday.com as a project management software, database of documents, and to-do list of items. Monday.com is used by every individual at the organization which has been especially helpful as there was a wide range of tools/processes being used before. It has assisted in keeping track of action items, project progress, document organization, etc.
  • allow collaboration on projects
  • track progress on projects
  • keep track of documents that relate to certain projects
  • record to do/follow-up items
  • being able to use Google Drive in the desktop app
  • "My Tasks" section that compiles all of your tasks across boards
  • main page on board allowing for documents to be tagged
Monday.com is great for a smaller team that is looking for a tool that is easy to onboard and train. It is great to keep track of to-do items but is not the best for use as a project management lifecycle tool. Monday.com easily integrates with several of the common workplace tools but there its usability does vary from the desktop app to the webpage.

monday.com is great for using automation and integrating usage with Front and for also creating reports used for metric tracking! It solves the need for less manual work and is also helpful for setting reminders along with tasks for projects that need to be implemented within our team. Love using monday!
  • Automations.

  • Project management.
  • Alerts when automations are not working.
