The tools focus on creating quality inbound leads, which is exactly what our department is expected to produce, so we appreciate the "philosophical" alignment of the application.,The version we have does not allow us to incorporate structured data. They have upgraded to a new version and we've had several challenges in making the migration work. Data within HubSpot is not always consistent from report to report, which is really not that big of a deal because overall the reports give you the direction you need and measure responses to your efforts.,9,In a year we've doubled the number of inbound organic leads we generate per month. Every time I do this, it asks if I want to replace the original only to keep the original file. I have to exit the template editor, go into the media manager, delete the original and add the replacement from there.,10,Since implementing HubSpot, we have seen a shortened sales cycle as well as consistent generation of leads. Before HubSpot, it was nice to see 100 leads a year. Now we are seeing roughly 30 a month. For all of our social media campaigns, we use HubSpot for the reports and ease of use to schedule messages far out in the future. It allows us to integrate our CRM into the system or start using their CRM (which is pretty awesome) and enroll the contacts into different workflows, all while allowing a seamless transition. It is only used by our marketing department as we are an IT firm and there isn't a reason for our techs to use it. HubSpot addresses many different business problems for our organization by eliminating the use of many different programs to analyze SEO, craft social media messages and manage automation workflows for email campaigns. Not having to spend time in each different program or software to do all of these things makes using HubSpot very time efficient and increase productivity as a whole. Instead of having to pay fees for business grades with other softwares and keeping track of when things are due and not due, HubSpot eliminates this problem.,The training programs is a huge strength for HubSpot. When first signing on with HubSpot, they offer a great selection of online classes and webinars that you can watch, get the slides or just the notes from it. These are highly beneficial to be able to immerse yourself into the product and get the best results. Plus, they keep the training and resources there for you throughout your whole time of using HubSpot, so if you need a quick refresher it is available to do so. The customer service and company attitude is excellent. Usually when I have submitted a help ticket in with a company, I'm in a bad mood because clearly I've forgotten something or something doesn't work. What I find as a huge strength for HubSpot is their customer service is on point and highly knowledgeable. I hear back quickly that someone is on my case, whether it is a phone call or an email the problem gets worked through and they are great. Not once have I been disappointed by them when I reach out. They literally have everything you would want as a marketer, especially after announcing the CRM at last year's HubSpot Conference. All in one package that eliminates the hassles of having items being accomplished by different products. Saves your time and company time.,The HubSpot Dashboard screen might start to be looking a tad dated... Mainly a personal preference, but perhaps more analytics to show on the homescreen to start. Account managers perhaps check in more often. Some of our other vendors we hear from just a bit more than HubSpot. Although I am saying this from a designer's perspective where I want to push the system way above and beyond what it was created to do. Customizing your emails beyond the standard set of design functions that HubSpot guides you through can be a bit challenging. The system isn't all that difficult once you get the hang of it, but for new users it could be challenging to really figure how you can get in there and tinker. I wish HubSpot had integrated templates and maybe even a help section on how design can be used to create optimal templates. There are some tweaks that could be implemented to make it even better (ie: auto formatting the downloaded information to match the order of the form fields) but all-in-all we are lightyears ahead of where we were!,The phone support is unmatched. They are responsive, helpful and very knowledgable giving you thought out solutions. The email automation and list making capability makes it easy for me to send personalized emails to the right people. I can categorize my lists in many ways making it easy for me to reach who I mean to. The social monitoring tool makes it easy for me to interact with conversations around our business and respond quickly to our customers.,When downloading form submissions, the exported file does not match the flow of the from. Meaning, when you export your form submissions you have to reorganize your excel sheet to match the order of the flow of questions. This is pretty manual and it would be helpful to have the results export in the order they are asked. It would be nice to implement If/then logic to the questions on forms. We can use that logic in workflows, but it would be nice if you could change the question that a consumer saw based on the question before it (ie: State - Arizona. Choose your applicator - this would display answers only pertaining to AZ). There are tools out there for social listening and I would like to see if that is something Hubspot would entertain. I think it would make this tool so much more impactful because a business could integrate their social response to an email follow up etc. Exporting form submissions by date. Currently we have to export all submissions and there isn't a way to pull submissions from a certain month or date range. It would be really helpful if we could export form submissions by date range in order for us to analyze and report on it.,9,Increased employee efficiency. Better search possibilities to investigate new contacts and new prospects is missing. Here you still have to go outside the product. It is used by the Marketing Department but since it is integrated with Salesforce, automated messaging goes out to new and unresponsive leads. Once you are done with your onboarding, it allows you to keep self-educating. They go through the platform in-depth and have live labs where you can participate and have your own examples critiqued. Being a social media manger, I like the social publishing tool. It allows you to track clicks and engagement. The reports are also very well done. Sidekick--need I say more? It has proved to be an amazing tool for our sales team. Essentially, they are all great platforms, some more feature rich than others. We use HubSpot because it's a great platform and the HubSpot team is excellent to work with. We know that when we run into a challenge, we can pickup the phone, dial their support team, have the phone answered by a human being, and our support issue resolved really quickly. HubSpot, put simply, loves their customers.

Before HubSpot we approached the same work the same way, but we had only Google Analytics and AdWords for planning and we had only server logs and a few other clever tricks to figure out what was actually happening on our site. It was like looking at a statue covered by a sheet. HubSpot pulled the sheet off so we could see what was actually there.

Over a year ago, I evaluated both Marketo and HubSpot for our marketing automation platform. While the two platforms have a lot of similarities, HubSpot is just more intuitive and offers the same bragging right of Salesforce integration. Ultimately, HubSpot's social media monitoring and publishing, and the interface for email campaign development were just better than Marketo.

I've only worked with WordPress previously and I had a difficult time in leveraging different other products in order to get all the features I now have in HubSpot. It was time consuming and challenging, if not impossible, to track the efficiency of my marketing strategy across different channels.

Many of the reasons why we chose HubSpot all stemmed from the fact of it being an all in one product, where we can manage all of our marketing efforts using one program. This really appealed to our company and we really like the analytics and reports that are offered with HubSpot. Being able to tie everything in and HubSpot show you what you are missing from a blog post or social media message is what we wanted. Many other competitors don't offer the "You are forgetting _____" in your post. The reminders for keywords, hashtags and meta descriptions was something that we wanted. Competitors seem to offer a little bit of this and just a bit of that and not the whole package. We wanted something that could eliminate time spent going back and forth between programs to accomplish daily marketing efforts and HubSpot allows us to do this.

We evaluated Act-On, Pardot and Marketo. We found for the price they all offer similar features. The main advantages is that they have more tools in one place meaning I can get access to social media sharing, keyword tracking, SEO feedback, automation, emailing and blogging integrated. Second is the was of use and quick time to train new employees. Finally and most important is their support is unparalleled. Just check how long each one of the companies takes to respond and you will see its a no brainer

I believe that HubSpot is a much superior product to Act-On. After starting with Act-On and moving to HubSpot our process became smoother and more organized and our capabilities more vast. HubSpot is a very nice robust system if you can afford it. The product is better organized than Act-On and it has more possibilities such as blogs/blog management, and a better responsive wysiwyg editor.

I have worked with clients who initially used Marketo or Pardot and there is no comparison. Before switching to HubSpot they were very limited in their understanding of where their marketing and sales processes needed improvement. HubSpot made things incredibly easy and they started getting results almost immediately. I have never worked with a company who switched from a competitor to HubSpot and regretted their choice.

Marketo had more capability than what we needed. There wasn't a circumstance that I could see us using all of the functionality so it would be like buying a Porsche when you need a reliable Toyota. HubSpot has almost all of the capabilities that we need in our small business, so it is a perfect fit for our needs.
