I don't love Mailjet or Mailchimp, to be honest. But Mailjet's service level was higher and interface was easy to use. Our developers also liked their API. We send over 5M emails a year using Mailjet and find it marginally better than Mailchimp. It also has the same issues of bad bounce rate tracking/integration drill down for transactional emails, and the web interface being very separate and unintuitive to work with in the API.

Mailchimp had a free tier that suited our needs better. Constant Contact was too much, cost more, and had a higher learning curve than MailChimp. That being siad, Constant Contact offers more flexibility and customizability in terms of email templating and formats, as well as with tracking and auto-responders handling. You get what you pay for though.

Generally, Mailchimp is substantially cheaper for smaller companies compared to the Enterprise level email marketing systems. Additionally, Mailchimp offers the agency-focused advantages of programs like Campaign Monitor, but with an easier billing system and lower monthly cost. Compared to Bronto, Klaviyo, and other powerful systems, Mailchimp may not have the pure Big-Data computing power, but makes up for it in easy email design, campaign creation, and streamlined subscriber management.

MailChimp would be my third choice, when SharpSpring and Keap are also options. Some of our clients opt to use MailChimp because it is generally cheaper. From a marketing automation tool standpoint, it's feature set is much more limited. However, for simple email marketing and contact segmentation, MailChimp is as simple and effective as it gets.

Tested this service a little and I must say it's a good service but I'd stick with Mailchimp because of the time and money invested in it. We got used to working with Mailchimp reports and invested a lot of time in training people in our company [as well as] clients and partners.

ActiveCampaign does not have as good of a UX in terms of designing emails for people with no coding knowledge. That being said, their field customization and integration with bigger CRM's is pretty good. Constant Contact had a very easy UX for beginners, but little to no customization in terms of email design beyond what is offered in their pre-made templates.

I used AWeber for years and it was becoming more expensive and less user friendly.

Mailchimp is less expensive and much more user friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone starting out online with a business or a blog.

I think ActiveCampaign offers more hands-on help from their account team and deeper usability. For our needs as a mid-size business, we needed something that would be manageable by a single person without a lot of complexity. MailChimp offers that at a very reasonable price.

The other two providers we used were integrated with other database features employed by the organization. Neither allowed the ability and flexibility that Mailchimp has provided us. One of them had no analytics whatsoever. The other gave scant information regarding campaign engagement, delivery, and unsubscribe rates.

One of the big differences that I noticed between Constant Contact and MailChimp is that MailChimp provides me with a system that works in real time, which is capable of sending me all the responses that customers place in the campaigns, instantly, compared to Constant Contact that took about half an hour or an hour to process all this information posted by the client, to send it to my advertising panel.

We picked Mailchimp because of other folks in similar positions for our "competitors" and it turned out to be a good choice for us also. Since we have not used any other kind of mail delivery service, I can't say how it compares but I suspect it would be favorable against any others.

I selected Mailchimp because it has a free version to test the tool until you buy it and because I received good feedback from my marketing colleagues. I confirmed this when I tried another tool, and preferred to try Mailchimp because is seems easier to administrate it.

Mailchimp is a stronger WYSIWYG editor, but HubSpot has stronger data management. Mailchimp doesn’t seem built to be a sales tool, as much as it is a marketing tool. I would recommend Mailchimp for B2C, and HubSpot for B2B.

It was decided to use Mailchimp because Adobe Marketing did not meet the expectations it needed due to the fact that it was not possible to improve traffic, it did not reach the necessary number of clients, that is why we made the change for Mailchimp.

Mailchimp was the best out of what I have previously used. It has much better reporting, automation and better list management. It is a good product to use if you are able to spend a bit of time and money to develop some templates and make it look amazing. It has been a big help to the whole team.

I'll be choosing Klaviyo for the deep eCommerce interaction and product integrations, great reporting, and comparable pricing model. Mailchimp is in my experience more versatile and developed than Zoho, Constant Contact, or HubSpot offerings--more modern and more mobile-friendly on the whole.
